History: While Tswanan Independence did not properly take shape until 1951, it's story begins in the 1920s. With a nation once loved now gone, many disillusioned American soldiers and patriots crossed the Atlantic and began selling their services to the various colonial powers in Africa, a number of them centered around the diamond, copper and nickel mines in what is now Botswana. When Black Thursday's after effects hit Africa, the various companies in Botswana who had a vested interest in keeping their mines open began crumbling, a combination of unpaid wages to the security and angered workers formed a type of union. Botswana very quickly became a hotbed in the South of Africa, Imperialist Powers, Democratic Powers, and Communist powers alike shoveled money in to groups of interest to gain a control of the region's resources. In the 17 years after the stock market crash, Botswana's infrastructure fell to ruin as more soldiers of fortune funnelled in to the country grew a conscious.
With the Second World War, attention was drawn away from the resources in Botswana to that of fortress Europe, and the wrecked country slowly began to rebuild as soldiers of fortune, with no fortune to be had turned native. When the Monarchy collapsed, in 1943, the then Bechuanaland Protectorate officially ceded from the British Empire, though with it's absolutely atrocious state of being, became a soft joint colony of South Africa and Rhodesia. Though the war did not end the last vestiges of armed conflict in Botswana, as more and more soldiers streamed in from Europe as it's various governments collapsed, the country soon became the beacon for war weary soldiers, displaced civilians, and the politically exiled. By 1945, the nation had started to resemble it's modern day counterpart.
When the Second World War ended, and the communist governments of the European continent being shuffled in to place, more and more expats turned to the relatively unaligned Africa to start up their new lives. Botswana was, for the most part, resurrected. Soldier's from all walks of life, civilians fleeing from prosecution for their political beliefs, and war criminals fleeing from tribunals made their way to Botswana. Infrastructure began revitalisation, knowledge brought from around the world began implementation, and through a somewhat ironic twist of fate, the standard of living slowly rose, as did the birth rate. The nation's GDP also began to rise to a level not seen since the 1920s and beyond.
In 1951, Botswana was officially declared as a Soldier's Republic, a land where those who had seen the worst of mankind could find a home among peers with the experiences to help with whatever demons plagued them, and the camaraderie to ensure that they always had someone to turn to. A recent applicant to the ACPM, the Soldier's Republic of Botswana, and it's horde of the war weathered, stand ready to act as a bulwark against the world's growing extremism.

Arunachal Pradesh is a state of India (created on 20 January 1972\), located in the far northeast. It borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Burma in the east, Bhutan in the west, and China in the north. The majority of the territory is claimed by China, by whom it is called South Tibet. Not OP but just a minor clarification on the section of your app that concerns Indian-Chinese dispute:
A) There hasn't been a Sino-Indian War (yet at least). Even in RL, this happened a few years after the start of this RP.
B) Arunachal Pradesh does not share an international border with Burma, since Burma (Myanmar) is a part of India in this TL.
Other than that, I am OK with the parts of your app that concern Indian - Chinese relationship.

History:Declaring independence in 1918, the countries of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia made the decision to unite together for the common defense thus creating the United Baltic Federation of the Baltic Federation for short on August 12th, 1919. The first President, Aleksandr Novikov, was chosen by the people of the Federation in elections held on February 14th 1920. He continued the plan that the Russians had started but was interrupted by WW1 by industrializing his country. Aleksandr immediately began the modernization of the Federation military because he knew war would return to the European continent. In 1933 when Hitler took power, President Lara Fedorova who was the Federation's first women leader, declared the Federation to be neutral. On September 1st, 1939 after Germany began its invasion of Poland, the Federation once again declared neutrality but began mobilizing its forces just in case Germany did invade. While Germany did invade Russia, it left the Baltic Federation alone. In the post WW2 era, the Baltic Federation maintained its neutrality until January 18th 1955 when communist elements inside the Federation launched a failed coup attempt on August 15th 1954. In the ensuing investigation, it is found out the coup leaders were backed by the American government. So on January 18th 1965, the United Baltic Federation joined the CTO as a fully independent member. On February 14th 1956, Aleksandra Kozlova of the Baltic Union Party was elected President while her party became the majority party in Parliament.

History: The independence of Indonesia in 1945, lead to the rise of the Republic of Indonesia. The newly founded country, was fighting against the Dutch, in order to secure it's freedom. In 1948 however, a revolution that was started in Madiun, has marked the rise of the Communist against the current Indonesian government. Remembering that the army was fighting against the Dutch somewhere in Java, Muso decided to recruiting fellow communists to join him against the Indonesian government. In the end, he got 100,000 soldiers, joining him against the government. With the support provided by the American Union State, the communist revolution was going as planned. The Communist led by Muso occupied the entire East Java within a week, remembering that the Indonesian army wasn't aware of that revolution. 2 days after the fall of East Java, the news reached the government and the military, brought by a police officer in that region.
2 armies led by General Ahmad Yani and General Nasution was deployed to East Java. President Soekarno ordered General Soedirman to expel the Dutch from Java, before he get to East Java. In 1949, the armies led by General Ahmad Yani and General Nasution failed, and retreated to Central Java, where they accidentally meet the Dutch in the region. They was fighting against the Dutch, trying to take Central Java as their new defensive position. The Communist army entered Central Java, and fought against the Dutch there, which ended in the Communist victory. This event led to a military agreement between the Dutch and Indonesian government, to fight the Communist together, and in the end the Dutch will leave Indonesia. The Indonesian government can't do nothing but to try trusting the Dutch this time. The agreement is known as the Semarang Agreement. The news of that agreement spread across Indonesia, and it enraged the people. An Islamic Revolution started in Aceh, General Soedirman refuses to make peace with the Dutch and created a Free Indonesian Government with the Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX of Yogyakarta, meanwhile the West Java, East Sumatra, and South Sulawesi decided to join the Communist revolution. With the Indonesian government losing it's power, the Dutch arrested President Soekarno and then executed him, making sure he will never return again. The news reached General Ahmad Yani and General Nasution, which then decided to join General Soedirman.
Muso and his army, reached Semarang, and then faced the Dutch in there. They won, and the Dutch retreated to the West, trying to reach Batavia. Another Communist Army led by General Untung, attacked Central Java from the West, defeating the Dutch Army, and finally reached Yogyakarta. In 1950, General Soedirman died of lung cancer, and the sultan of Yogyakarta, becoming the leader of the Free Indonesian Government. The news accidentally reached General Untung, and he ordered his army to do an assault to Yogyakarta. In the end, the sultan surrendered. General Ahmad Yani was captured by Muso's army, while General Nasution knowing that the Communist is going to win, decided to join the Communist. They expelled the Dutch from Java, and finally Java fell into their occupation. The war in Aceh is still going on. However in 1952, General Nasution arrived in Aceh and finally, defeating the Islamic Revolution. People of Kalimantan and Sulawesi have no choice but to join the Communist State of Indonesia, meanwhile the Dutch still refuses to give Papua back, which then led to Operation Trikora

Ruled by the Communist Party of the Spanish Republic (Partido Comunista de la República Española, or PCRE)
Day to day management of local affairs such as sewage management, education, farming, local trading is handled by an un-elected council of jurados. These jurados hold control of the individual and minor courts, and are often utilized in both transferring criminals and acting as literal judge, juries and executioners, often in the same hour.
Oversight of such Jurados is managed by a mechanism within the Spanish Articles, which allow for a referendum by the next high-ranking official, the Pueblos del Estado, or State's People. To clarify this, the Pueblos del Estado can call for a referendum in the offending town. This referendum is then held in the town if they wish to retain their existing Jurados or replace them with a list provided by the Pueblos del Estado (often allies of said Estado). They can also withhold resources from obstinate local settlements to force co-operation. The Pueblos del Estado also holds the powers to ask for volunteers in the event of a natural disaster or the outbreak of war, though the Jurados are under no obligation to provide citizens for the State armies.
Above the Pueblos del Estado is the government of the individual states, representation from the states to the government is handled through the largely ceremonial Covenant of the Republic (Pacto de la República). Their political powers, at least on paper, are to approve or disapprove of legislation passed by the Secretariat, vote for the individual members of the Secretariat, and to have a significant say in what domestic affairs are a priority, in reality it is simply a rubber-stamp legislature, with a wide array of diverse (but mostly loyal) members filling the hundreds of seats. It is also one of the few chances that the Spanish people can vote in elections, which are held either every 3 years in odd numbered years or whenever the Secretariat wishes to (though this action must be approved by a 2/3rds majority of Secretariat members, so this means a majority of 7 is currently needed.) This legislative body is comprised of 235 members, with a minimum of the following that must come from the following jobs/professions within Spanish society as a whole:
34 hailing from a Farming background.
32 hailing from a Manufacturing background, but must be a "Worker or belong to one of the trade unions."
30 hailing from a party background, often hardline partisans to the regime.
30 hailing from a military background, but must be fluent in Marxist ideology, and are often just commissars that have served in the Army, with little military experience.
29 hailing from the poorest parts of the country, regardless of race, nationality or political leanings privately. However, they all must be members of the PCRE. ("The Everyman and woman")
28 hailing from a top ranking university or of a 'strong educational background' of the country, and are regarded as the "technocrats", with skilled scientists, philosophers and aspiring diplomats with foreign policy expertise.
27 hailing from an editorial and newspaper background, with mandatory "investigative" skills being required prior to joining the legislature.
25 hailing from a creative and inventive mindset, with various top inventors and known figures from Spain being nominated and approved by their peers.
The real-policy makers in the nation lie with the Executive branch of government, known as the Secretariat. The Secretariat is comprised of an ever-fluctuating number of elected and un-elected officials. Although throughout it's history is has ranged from as few as three members to as many as thirty one, the current number is eleven. A proposal can be proposed by any of the members, and following debate on the issue, a draft is written up and voted on. A 51% majority is required to pass most legislation, or six out of the eleven members. The Secretariat is currently comprised of the following members:

History:
The turn of the 20th Century was not kind to Spain. Cast out from it's status as one of the great powers a long time prior, the final nail in the coffin was when that damn Maine blew up in Cuba. Sure, Spain's abhorrent policies and internal punishing of Cuban rebels did them no favors in the eyes of the international community, but the poor performance of Spain's military thoroughly humilated it on a global scale. The resulting Treaty of Paris saw her final vestiges of Empire ripped from her cold, lifeless hands. A new Generation of artists and intellectuals were birthed from this catastrophic loss against the United States.
Neutrality had to be preserved, and the Spanish state needed saving from the pits of irrelevance on the world stage. A glimmer of hope was when a german with a silly moustache agreed to help out the Austrian with an even sillier looking moustache. Spain stood idly by as the world ripped itself asunder, as millions of soldiers ground each other to dust and powder in the fields of Flanders. Spain sat by, herself torn as to the benefits of rallying forth on either side. When the dust did settle, Spain was rewarded with nothing. A small but growing faction of reformists within the Spanish Military had been gaining traction within the Royal Family, with intermarriages that would make even the deformed Habsburg Royal Line look like a straight arrow in marked contrast to the "family-relations" that happened to go hand in hand with various political maneuverings.
The Queen Regent Christina of Austria utilized her son as a political pawn, twisting arms and forcing the legal age for Alfonso de Borbón to assume his place being at the age of 80. The Long, long reign of the Austrian princess turned head of state of Spain was disastrous. Absolutism was brought back, demolishing over a hundred years of frenzied fighting between liberal and reactionary factions and at least a dozen internal wars over the very issue overnight. Overseeing the shrinking of Spain's overseas territories and seeing the Sun finally set on the Empire that had once brought ancient civilizations to their knees with a few hundred conquistadors. She refused to modernize the armed forces, and instead insited on diplomatic matters first. A policy of "Patria por encima de Dios" (Homeland above God) was meant to instill a system of feverently nationalism and love for Spain (along with a love for Christina, of course). Large scale festivities and religious ceremonies continuously drained the National Treasury, and national wages remained one of the most stagnate among Europe.
The straw that broke the people's back was when the bottom fell out. When London began to report stocks tumbling farther and farther. A small method of reform in allowing Spanish citizens to invest in stocks in return for tax exemptions had reaped benefits for the people. However, all that was wiped out thanks to the resulting Crash. Millions of individual Spaniards went hungry and homeless, all the while as the Monarchy kept their lights on, holding lavish ceremonies that only enraged the people more.
On 3 August, 1930, Christina was discovered by her aides unresponsive in her chambers after reporting to them feeling light headed. A totally unprepared Alfonso de Borbón was hastily coronated as the King of Spain. Although the freshly crowned Monarch initially wanted to do good for his people, he would wound up mislead by those nobility that surrounded him, urging instead to double down on reactionary policies. He would force the Reformists out of their political positions, forcibly annulling various marriages while establishing alliances with reactionaries in an attempt to fix the Spanish Royal Family. The people of Spain suffered even more, but there would be a straw that broke the camel's back. The Leader of the Reformists, Alfonso's sister María Teresa ordered his brother be arrested. Hiring some mercenaries to do her dirty work, a miscommunication between letters led to the unfortunate demise of Alfonso XII, murdered by his sister.
Before the Reformists or María Teresa could really act on the death of the King, the people took matters into their own hands. A massive crowd of thousands stormed Madrid, as socialists called for a general strike. The city came to a stand-still as protestors clamored for an end to the Monarchy and Bread. The Reformers quickly attempted to capitalize on this, proclaiming María Teresa as the new Queen of Spain. However, she would never reach her coronation, as events snowballed into the Spanish Revolution. María Teresa would be arrested on 18 September, 1931, officially ending the longstanding Spanish Kingdom.
In it's place was the Second Spanish Republic. Almost instantly, the forces on the right-wing and left-wing clashed both politically and violently. Between 1931 and 1936, Spain had 35 different governments in power. Governments rose and fell off of the support of a few minor members thanks to slim majorities in the Legislature. Various attempts at solidifying control only really lasted at most three months. Bitter disagreements as to the "correct" path to fixate the economy wore out the patience of the people, who were disappointed in the male-dominated government, who only put a new horse on the same old broken cart that was Spanish society. Although "Patria por encima de Dios" might have been a long since forgotten idea, it's potency in rallying forth new Spanish nationalist movements upon it's rediscovery could not be understated.
The culmination was the disputed election of 1935, which saw the left-leaning Spanish Socialist Alliance win a plurality of seats but lose the popular vote to the far-right collection of parties known as the Homeland Front. The Homeland Front rallied against the government and even declared it illegitimate. A Political crisis that might have been cooled by easier heads was detonated into the First Spanish Civil War (1935-1938). Antonio Ortiz Ramírez won many accolades during the Defense of Madrid, and was promoted to the rank of General. The Government was backed with the assistance of the Union State and had International Brigades of like-minded left leaning groups flood with their weapons and manpower. Slowly but surely, the Nationalists were ousted and defeated from the country, though not without much hardship and bloodshed. Spain was financially and physically devastated by the civil war, but the forces of the left prevailed after a hard-fought engagement.
Now in power, the Central Committee was established to oversee all areas of the country. A small oligarch was established to better "Bind the people" with their beloved "Central Committee." This Committee proved to be stacked with political incompetents and often made sweeping (and contradictory) decisions overnight. The most egregious was it's responsibility for the Famine of '45, which saw over three million Spanish perish. This infuriated individual Spanish, who saw the Committee as nothing more than a repeat of the vehemently hated regency of Christina. Antonio Ortiz Ramírez saw an opportunity. He was untouched by the scandals that had plagued the inefficient ,beaurecratic nature of the Central Committee. They made their move on the 3 August, 1946.
Ramírez overthrew the Committee and established the Secretariat. "This would be more in line with the people" he had assured those below him. However, he had underestimated his enemies, who in response formed a far, far left anarchist utopia called Columbus. Ramírez plunged the nation into a second, far bloodier Civil War, called the aptly named Second Spanish Civil War (1946-1950). Those nationalists that had been forced to flee abroad found unlikely allies in their opposition to Ramírez's leadership. A mis-match of ardent liberals from the Second Republic, intellectuals with a militant side, painters with a touch of violence, and die-hard Spanish nationalists alongside former members of the Royal Family took up arms in opposition to Ramírez's regime. However, it was this amalgamation of ideologies that proved it's weakness. The moderate factions within the Anarchists broke apart and fought the farther-left version of the Anarchists. The Royalists were bribed off and given lifetime supplies of votes in the form of ex-offico positions within the Spanish Military. Still, Ramírez was outnumbered even with all the division and bitterness within his opponents, and so a bloody slog of over four years of Warfare has devastated Spain.
As the dust settled after the end of Spain's bloodiest conflict, Ramírez was forced to compromise. The Spanish Articles greatly decentralized much of the country on a personal level, while also retaining a semi-federalist system and parliament, though it mostly functions as a rubber-stamp to decisions that have been approved by the Secretariat, of which Ramírez was allowed to keep his job as the Secretary of the Secretariat. Ramírez now turns 53 this year, and the prospect of Spain keeping anything together will prove the middle aged man's hardest challenge as of yet...

History: In 1951, as the embers faded away from the Second World War, the occupied territory of Libya slipped free from its colonial shackles under King Idris. The United Kingdom of Libya only lasted six short years, meeting a quick end in a 1957 military coup. Led by a circle of charismatic young officers. Unfortunately, many of the coup’s agents were killed during their raid on King Idris’ palace.
Unfettered by their losses, the coup continued on and was ultimately successful in forcing King Idris’ abdication. Over the following two years, free and fair elections were set up with South African assistance, and a constitution quickly drafted. In 1959, the first parliamentary election was held. In the runnings were such notable figures as Muammar Gaddafi and his Arab nationalists, Muhammad Osman Said, and Zaid Hassan El-Hashem. Ultimately, parliament would be run by El-Hashem and his Pan-African Congress.
By 1960, Libya had joined the African Continental Protection Movement and received much in the way of economic and industrial aid. With their vast oil fortune, Libya has quickly become a fairly wealthy nation, though its infrastructure lags behind not due to lack of budget, but simply lack of time.

History: Following the capitulation and replacement of the Belgian government, the Belgian Congo saw a dramatic surge in Belgians working in the colony to escape communist persecution. Engineers, doctors, everyday well educated citizens and entrepreneurs. Belgian colonial holdings consolidated under the same umbrella to preserve its integrity and security in an era of uncertainty. The Free Belgian Forces would continue their war against the Axis. Between the option of Communists or Fascists, Belgian Congo chose the third way, supporting the South African/Rhodesian war machine.
With the rise of a well educated and prosperous middle class saw a rise in nationalism and anti-colonialism sentiments. The Belgian Congo government sought a ten year plan to develop superior internal infrastructure, power generation, water treatment and railway infrastructure in the face of the French government’s alleged “modernization” of Africa. Backed by the South African and Rhodesian governments and without the Belgian government or the CIA to interfere, Congolese independence was secured. Though instead of promises of peace and love saw promises of integrity and security as Communist Angola bordered their south and Imperial France to their north and west. The Republic of Congo had just gained their freedom from Belgium, they would not lose it so fast to the French. In 1960, The Republic of Congo would sign the Cape Town Treaty. While far from a perfect country, still dealing with over centralization and ethnic squabbles, they stand united in the face of a second colonial threat.

History:
In 1947, communist and syndicalist protesters funded and 'armed' (defensive weapons only) by the Western Bloc and PANPACt forced the Prime Minister of Sweden to call for a general election. The 2 parties of the status quo merge into the Neoliberal Republican Party in a last-ditch effort to consolidate power around liberal statism, but as America, France, Germany, and Britain continued funding the new Syndicalist Socialist Party, they eventually won by the slimmest of majorities. Instantly, they elected popular socialist writer and philosopher Lukas Isaacson as the Prime Minister. They passed popular reforms for the workers including mandated unionization and universal healthcare. They called another election 3 years later, where the SSP, again with PANPACT aid, won a democratic supermajority. They began reorganizing the state into multiple union blocs, which proved to be beneficial as cooperation between industries, regulated of their own accord, grew.
In Norway, a similar situation gripped the nation. As the Liberal Party was infected more and more by communists influenced by revolutions in other nations, in 1945 the first leader was elected dedicated to communist ideals. Although they lost popularity due to this move when the Syndicalist Socialist Party in Sweden began funding them as Prime Minister Isaacson began the Global Revolution Initiative. By 1958, they formed a tenuous alliance with the Greens who were also growing to elect a Prime Minister. Enacting popular policies, and to an extent find previously overlooked illegal acts of enemies, they grew in power. They too organized into a more centralized state, although still Syndicalist.
In 1958, the two voted to merge following skirmishes at the Finnish border for collective defense. They began a 'Special Military Procedure' to occupy Denmark, but they only got the islands. The current Bloc System applies to both Norway and Sweden, and both have equal representation, but for the two years of unification, it was clear Sweden was the senior partner. Although still a democracy, Union Blocs could be seen as slightly corrupt. The President is a reformer who wishes to reorganize the Bloc System, but too limited success.
The old monarchies are currently in Russia. Although they were exiled to India, they likely fled to Russia in hopes of raising an army and taking back the crown. The children of the monarchy are in a boarding school on an isolated Danish island. Although they are alive and well, they have not been able to go to the mainland and are kept under strict observation. ANy nobles who refused to leave were killed by mobs, who were noticeably not prosecuted.
Today, the Union has bad relations with Denmark, Finland, and Russia. They are isolated from the communist world due to the Syndicalist ideology, but when push comes to shove they will defend each other. The government is secretly planning to restart the war with Finland, although they prefer a slow buildup.

History: While British and French Colonial holdings in the middle east survived through the war it came with a heavy cost to Arab colonial lives. This and growing dissent within the various Arab states and the region poised on mass revolt caused the peaceful withdrawal of French and British forces from the region in 1948.
For a short period of a few months, the Arab states were in flux until the rise of the Arab Socialist Gamel Abdul Nasser with a majority of the Egyptian Officer Corps following with him, and by the end of 1949, the United Arab Republic was born with Palestine, Jordan, Kuwait, and Iraq following shortly after. In 1950 the Ba’thist under Akram al-Hawrani joined the Republic after a bloodless coup taking over the state the same year. Quickly consolidating power Nasser moved to make leaps outside of its country's borders, with the colonial powers still reeling from their loss in WW2 Nasser nationalized the Suez. After a short battle with a piecemeal British and French contingent sent to reinforce the Arab States the UAR gained total access to the canal.
For the next decade, Nasser rode off the popularity of his victories in the Suez and the Middle East and used it to gather more and more power for the Arab Socialist movement and party. Cracking down on the Muslim Brotherhood to the point that he was almost assassinated in 1957 by a member which caused the group to be almost wiped out from politics. In 1960 the UAR stands a beacon for peace and stability in the post-colonial world.
