All right it looks pretty cool, there's just a few things we gotta go through regarding military numbers. Your economy is the same as in OTL judging by the numbers, yet your military is around three time the size of the RL Indian military.
India spends around 2,4% of GDP on it's RL military, a much larger force will, obviously be way more costly and cause some real economic difficulties.
Regarding religious demographics I'd say some 20% Christian, 15% Muslim, 40% Hindu, and 25% others.

“It is difficult for me to imagine what “personal liberty” is enjoyed by an unemployed hungry person. True freedom can only be where there is no exploitation and oppression of one person by another; where there is not unemployment, and where a person is not living in fear of losing his job, his home and his bread. Only in such a society personal and any other freedom can exist for real and not on paper.” -J. V. STALIN

Oooh I'm really glad someone is interested in taking up the UAR, tell me what exactly about the history do you want to discuss and clear up?
“It is difficult for me to imagine what “personal liberty” is enjoyed by an unemployed hungry person. True freedom can only be where there is no exploitation and oppression of one person by another; where there is not unemployment, and where a person is not living in fear of losing his job, his home and his bread. Only in such a society personal and any other freedom can exist for real and not on paper.” -J. V. STALIN

Okay let's break it down.
Economics-wise you were probably among the world's top ten oil exporters before the war. You also have some fertile agricultural lands particularly in northern Syria around Afrin. Depending on how open the UAR was, you could have had a strong and competitive tourist sector as you got tons of ancient sites and cultural relics from Babylon, Rome etc. Also religious tourism as you have Karbala and Najaf which are big holy sites for Shias.
Western relations would have been strained by the overthrow of the pro-western Hashemites in the 50's but could be cordial or neutral by the time the war broke out as there hasn't been anything like the Gulf War in this timeline. The war provides tons of interesting ways to play the game in addition to just military ops. You'll be courting foreign allies and backers, trying to shore up economic support to restore areas retaken, trying to secure the best possible outcome for your faction by military and non-military means

The National Dominion of Hungary wrote:That depends on what type of peace the government would be willing to accept. For a total victory it would take a while, if Baghdad would agree to some territorial concessions, perhaps in a summit with the Great Powers in the region it would likely be over pretty quickly.

Major import/export partners - India, Occitania, UASC, UAR, Gran Colombia, Morocco, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, German Empire, China
Public Goals - Regain international importance by retaking the role of mediator / Estabilization of the Middle East / Preservation of marine and terrestrial protected areas / Encourage citizen participation in democratic structures and transparency / Creation of better communications by land / Investment in strategic sectors / Betterment of public health and education / Boosting of space program / Adaptation of the energetical system to new technologies / Patronage of sport activities in schools and neighbourhoods, along with search of future athletes in high performance centers / Investment on the Navy
Private Goals - Boost military industry / Attract Occitania to the Spanish sphere / Attract Italian ex-colonies in northern Africa / Support internal opposition in Argentina
Major Domestic Issues - Caboverdian nationalism, energy transition, polarization of politics, economical dependence of the Mediterranean coast on tourism.
Major Foreign Issues - During the 20th century and the first half of the Cold War, Spain tried to establish alliances based on a non-aligned stance. The main two focuses were Latin America and the Arab World. As the Cold War advanced, the colonial conflicts in Africa and the emergence of China made the non-aligned status more difficult to mantain. Now, with the confrontation of two Latin American blocs, the Iberoamerican Summits have become more strained, making the possible contact of Spain with its American ex-colonies more difficult because of the lack of interest of the blocs in having a non-aligned ally. Apart from that, the rising inestability in the Arab World with the UAR Civil War, and the insurgency in Sudan are destroying the second area of interest. And if that wasn't enough, if the Sahel jihadist insurgency extends to the inner areas of the Sahara, the Tuareg gas may stop its flow to the Iberian Peninsula.
