Age: 24
Appearance: Standing up to 180cm tall or around 5'11", he bears the resemblance of almost any young adult male commonly found in his homeland of Java (light brown skin, brown eyes, and black hair), but he has no facial hair whatsoever for someone his age. Were it not for his habit of wearing anything aqua green, which is the color of his queen mother, one would find difficulty in spotting a person so average-looking.
Powers:
Grace of the Southern Sea
Ragatirta, blessed by his new divine mother, has an authority over sea water and all mortal creation that dwells within the Southern Sea. He can control or create seawater at will, but the latter is quite more difficult for him. Aside from that, he can breath and live as normally (as he would on land) in water.
Seawater Mimic
Ragatirta, from the seawater, can create mimics which can either be directly controlled by himself or granted a semblance of thought to move by itself according to orders. His mimic creation can be split into two categories; the Greater Mimic and the Lesser Mimic. The Greater Mimics are powerful seawater mimic of Ragatirta's two original creations from during his mortal period. Creating these require a very convoluted ritual, and so he does not want to make another. They are Baya Putih (White Crocodile) and Ula Ijo (Green Serpent). Meanwhile, the Lesser Mimic is simply a replica of any animal from the sea, and is significantly weaker than the Greater Mimics.
(He with) The Body of Water
Ragatirta's mortal body has long been cast out into the deep and has become a nourishment to all the creatures within. Instead, all of his inner organs are replaced with seawater, with protection from certain illnesses or poison. Through his body of water, he can also choose to dissolve a part of or his whole body and return to his original form at will, rendering most regular physical attacks irrelevant for him. When dissolved, the water that was once his body part can still be moved, although only up to a certain distance.
The World is Your Sea
A simple ability where Ragatirta can fly around as if he's swimming in the water. This allows him to move faster than walking or running.
Hidden Soul
Not risking the death of his heir apparent, the Queen of the Southern Sea has kept the true soul of Ragatirta within a keris (a Javanese blade), hidden in the phantasmic Kraton (Palace) of the Southern Sea. Only by shattering the keris with an adequate amount of supernatural power can Ragatirta truly die, otherwise he will simply be reborn anew from the water of the Southern Sea.
Background (At least two paragraphs):In the Republic of Indonesia, the Myth War, (or Perang Dedemit as they would call it) ravaged the entire archipelago for many years. Hundreds if not thousands of spirits and divine beings wage war against each other for hegemony, with the heaviest toll being paid by the humans and other mortal creations within. Not content with having the nation divided once again, the central government crafted a plan to ask for the help of a strong force and ordered the rest of the military who haven't defected to the sides of other local gods into supporting them. They looked on, and they struck gold. Along the southern coast of the island of Java, reigned a god-queen so feared by mortals and spiritual beings, that her territory was bereft of any conflict. Her title and name was Sri Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, or the Queen of the South (Southern Sea).
Then, the central government struck a negotiation with Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, and both found themselves in an agreement. For her support in ending the Myth War and bringing the authority back into the central government, they will acknowledge the territory of the southern Javenese coast and the waters beyond it will be hers to rule in a Special Region equal to a province. And so, in this time where Kanjeng Ratu Kidul began her assault throughout Nusantara, Adrian Putra Samudra was born.
Adrian was born to a well-off family, seeking refuge from the Myth War in Palabuhanratu Regency, where the most devout followers of Kanjeng Ratu Kidul lived until now. At six years old, he survived a long fall from a coconut tree, but at the cost of his legs, which bound him into a wheelchair. Because of this, many of his classmates in elementary school would mock him for his disability, and his parents chose to keep him at home and hired a private tutor. His life was almost bereft of any friends, and he started to pick up drawing as a coping mechanism. Little did young Adrian know, that this hobby would lead to a dark chapter of his life.
Six years later, Adrian was still the loner that he was, only seeing the faces of his parents, his private tutor, or his personal attendant who would help him move around with the wheelchair. He took lessons in math, Indonesian and Javanese language, and the studies of the paranormal. Adrian was mostly interested in the third lesson, often asking his tutors about certain supernatural beings and what they do throughout their lives.
The ongoing Myth War, in particular, drove him to study harder by himself about this specific subject. This passion was reflected in his drawings, where he would draw a white crocodile and a green giant serpent on almost every moment he got, slowly drawing it at a better quality. Seeing his sketches and illustrations drawn throughout the years, the heavily superstitious father believed that he was slowly getting possessed by an unknown spirit who wished to drag his son into becoming its soldier in the Myth War.
After that, the father would bring Adrian along to magicians or shamans, asking them to cure his son from the possession which didn't actually exist. Several of these people already warned him of such, and even his wife had joined in, yet he insisted on his belief. And so, he chose to disown Adrian. The mother begged for the father to keep the child, yet he doubled down by divorcing her as well. Having been told off by someone she truly loved, Adrian's mother died of grief, and this caused severe mental damage to him.
At the edge of his sanity, the now 19 years old Adrian thought to end his own life. He asked one of his old neighbors to drive him somewhere into a cliff along the southern coast. There, he told the neighbor to go, and despite the neighbor's complaints, he left as Adrian asked him to. There, he slowly pushed the wheel of his wheelchair where it ended up falling from on height, and his body crushed by the force of the fall and sunk into the Southern Sea.
Nyi Roro Kidul, as Kanjeng Ratu Kidul's Patih or vicegerent, saw Adrian's sinking lifeless body, and as per protocol, she would turn him into an attendant to the Kraton of the Southern Sea, that is if she wasn't shocked from reading the poor boy's memory. She saw herself in his memory, a child cast out by their family and thrown down into the sea. Taking pity on him, she brought his body before the Queen herself, to raise as her own son. Kanjeng Ratu Kidul approved, and moved his weak, dimming soul into a keris that her craftsman specifically made for this purpose. From the seawater he was given a new body, and from the queen he was given his new name, Ragatirta, meaning (he with) the body of water.
With the new name, came a whole new responsibility, and so Ragatirta would be trained by his new, caring mother in using his powers. He even participated in the Myth War, and the words of the Southern Sea's newly adopted son would quickly spread throughout Indonesia. The war ended in the victory of the coalition between the central government and the Kraton of the Southern Sea, and the Rebuild has finally begun for the nation.
When the dust settled, Ragatirta reached the age of 24, and he was left with barely anything to do. Hoping to gain some new friends and study along the way, he asked Kanjeng Ratu Kidul's permission to study at Holy High. She approved, and so began his new life in a strange new land, studying in a new school after his last bitter experience years ago...

One year after The Great Dying, life in a small town was largely the same. Word spread of this magic man, and people migrated to this town in droves, bringing the numbers up to 300. The magic man proposed doing another spell. The whole town would have to participate, but it would ensure luck and good harvest forevermore. The townsfolk, with there blind faith in the man, agreed.
On the day of the spell, they all gathered around the main square as the man prepared his magic. He cast it, and the people dropped dead. The man was actually a powerful Daemon, and was using the townspeople's life-force to attempt to open a portal to the realm of the Gods, believing that they were so weak that he could overthrow them. But, alas, those who reach the highest have the longest way to fall. The Daemon overshot his destination, briefly opening a portal to the ethereal Chaos that the universe was formed out of, that the Gods were formed of. It was a death sentence. The entire town, Daemon included, was destroyed. And in the midst of it, a new being was formed of the darkness of the void and the fear of man. Aenar.
They were honestly pretty chill. Being formed from darkness and fear does not dictate your personality, apparently. They enjoyed helping mortals in the few ways they could. They heard of Holy High, sure, but didn't think they needed it. But when they accidentally destroyed a building (okay, like three buildings) practicing there powers, they realized they needed train. And who knows. They might even make some new friends! (Probably not though.)
