Description of Faction's Tech, Powers, & Abilities:
The galactic Empire of Femcia is a proud but defensive galactic nation. It does likes to value making allies over making enemies. But it's cultural eccentricity makes it unfriendly at first contact. Women holds males roles and men holds females roles, in terms of gender and stereotypical behavior.

Tech doesn't go further basic future tech and epic-dramatic-space-opera, and can be adapted to sci-fi only or magic Fantasy+Sci-fi if needed.


Ooc Note: I will make few units' sample sheet if we ever go military, but most of this is NPCs yet. It will be up to the players to hold RPs in their mini-arc how throughoutly I, as a player character or a NPC/GM, will they like me to go. I'll make sheets in consequence. It is late here so tomorrow I'll post the arc app if ever I create one.

Summary:
The galaxy is new and only a few space empires and system are emerging from nothingness. But who knows what danger stands in the deep wide dark outerspace. Would the empires stands? Would evil beasts and creatures would crush civilized worlds or would these worlds will crush themselves? Would harmony prevail or would chaos reign?

Empires are called so as civilizations that hold many star system. Otherwise, a singular system civilization would be called system. If the galaxy is the world, a planet is a city, a solar system is a county, and a galaxy arm is a continent. People uses space travel as we use planes. Many will never leave their homeworld even once. Some will have rich affairs here and there.
Stability of course is worse across an empire that holds many systems. Many species of intelligent people are spread around the galaxy and we never know how they can be resilient, brave, sneaky or chaotic.
Space for humans is dangerous. No air, radioactivity and solar wind are tremendous. But robots or some special species can have built a resistance to that. Some worlds are inherently toxic, some could be terraformed, and some are just big wide bubble of lava, totally inhabitable.
A strong civilization may terraform a planet to help settling it, but stations are faster and costs less to entertain.
Energy cost for FTLs travels are high but comparable to our modern planes from a nation's view. Population could be as high as Earth-like each, but stability would decrease with that much spirits. A few dozen of million of people is enough on each planet. Many system have few planets and moons to live on, as well as stations built by nations here and there.

A singular unit follows orders and can secure zones, but rarely takes initiative. Basically, it can move or attack, and that's it.

If it is united with a lot of units, it could reach Above Average in terms of strategy they will use all together. Commander will give them an order and they will work their way to make it.

4x 44mm machineguns
Can take down units about it's own same resistance. Most slim, fleshy creatures, and some lightly armored vehicles. Common cars, planes, glass wall or display, and maybe thin wood walls.

Brief Bio/History*:
Since it's conception the DCI-44 have been a main battle unit for exploring, advancing, and annoying enemy lines. It have been regularly updated to recent tech while still keeping its low price and mass-produced concept.

Brief Personality Description*:
The DCI-44 fulfill it's orders. It have a basic defense instinct if attacked, but otherwise isn't hostile by default.

Difficult to judge its rough strength but I can say it can crush a wood wall or some thin objects.

Is enough armored to resists many light attacks.

Stamina:

The Valiant tank is a very old concept that is still used for its easiness to learn and lowcost maintenance and production.

Description of Faction's Tech, Powers, & Abilities: The Southern Captaincy is a military governorate operating somewhere in the farthest north of the known galaxy. Situated in three star systems (Melvolia System, Muestea System, and Tiphotania System), the Southern Captaincy's task is to guard the far southern frontiers as part of an imperial mandate. While it is completely and truly neutral as well as uninterested in the galactic events, it does interact with nations allowing lucrative trade routes. But just because the military governorate is neutral doesn't mean it is a pushover, and gods or whatever powers-that-be help those who had provoked a war (one the provokers will not even win) or become the targets of the governorate's Great Invasion(s).

The Southern Captaincy have been utilizing both regular technologies and paratechnologies, and it also makes use of thaumaturgy as well. While such things are vast, the Southern Captaincy's neutrality and imperial mandate had prevented it from using them. Fortunately, those within the lucrative trade routes can interact with the Southern Captaincy and ask for its master engineers, siege engineers, strategists and efficient administrators.

It is currently believed that the Southern Captaincy is either a bureaucratic military governorate where the Governor-Militant is appointed by the Emperor/Empress, or a hereditary/elective military governorate where the Governor-Militant appoints their heir (either any family members) or anyone who have skills and talents making them fit to helm the captaincy.

Origin: Original (non-Sovereign Justice)

Appearance: Incomplete sketch of Borealis III. He looks like a Japanese-Filipino-American (or Japanese-American with Filipino blood in his veins) who has long dark blue hair with white and light-blue streaks tied to a ponytail, light blue eyes (described as aurora blue eyes), and a fair build that people will mistake him for being a girl. He wore a black WWII-era German military uniform that had no Nazi symbols and had red aiguillette, black-and-red shoulder boards and red strips that denotes the rank of a high-ranking admiral (more specifically, the naval loops of the Admiral of the Navy, a US Navy rank). Likely somewhere before or after his appointment as Governor-Militant, he married Xia Zhang.
Brief Personality Description*: Borealis III is described as stern, strict and serious in terms of military and government activities, though this extends to more mundane activities such as debates regarding relationships. Underneath that stern exterior, however, is a kind and friendly personality, with compassion mixed in.

OOC: Giving you the name of the planets in Femcia's main system so you understand the characters apps.

Arthephi - White star class, basically twice the sun, ten times luminous.

Cronos - Toxic earth-sized green planet, really inhabitable both for creatures and robots

Karlenia - Gigantic gas planet, basically colored pink-magenta-white and orange, as large as Jupiter but only weights as Saturn, so very light.
Kamea - Moon sized barren world that have some metals for colonies on it to mine.
Kalyan - Mars-sized homeworld that is habitable like earth but with a bit more storms but Karlenia's magnetic field at earth-moon distance protects its air and water.
Amhenia - Second mars-sized homeworld that have less storms but a bit less oxygen and water as it is twice far from Karlenia.

Arabelle - Cold earth-sized iced planet with milk-like ocean and blue plants.

Also, most materials and stuff are invented. Like my favorite, the Stones of Powers.
To say really fast, when stars die they create strange materials capable of containing energy like powercells. These are like batteries that can be wield by a really wise being to acquire powers according to the ascendance and type of the stone. They lower and regain power like a energy cells and regenerate way more on sunlight. This is the counter part of the Force in this universe, for Femcia at least. Power arc / Energy ray: After taking a time to charge it, Esmeralda draws a line with her sword which becomes a shiny, radiant and devastating beam that slowly advance until it disappears about 18m further.

Fire-sword: Esmeralda makes her sword burning fire and causing extra damages to flammable objects.

Phasing cut: Esmeralda makes her sword thrill and soon it can cut much any material it encounters, but heavy or hard metals, and can't break any Stones of Powers.

Lightning strike and lightning charge: Esmeralda points high her sword and absorb with it a lightning, which can she can attack with. If she keeps it saved for a few seconds she can make a powerfuller Power arc right away without having to charge it.

Higher strength: Jumping higher and longer, short-timed runs, mostly all raw strength tasks are upgraded.

Weaknesses:
She is heavily protective, doesn't specially likes blind-fully following orders of hierarchy and always put as much judgement as she does on herself. Failure is not an option. She either uses too late or too soon her powers, she isn't really liking magic and stuff.

Angelika is quite the fey type: she have forest powers, animals powers, and healing powers. She is quite intelligent regarding plants and animals and does have few ideas on forests and stones. Her concentration once reached is high and her power range are very wide.

As a Feyler, Angelika have druidic powers produced by her antennas. She can magically freeze, flame, grow healthy or dry wither a plant, or any object smaller than 10cm in all directions. She can also levitates things and objects at maximum of 10kg in total at once. Or she can magically illuminate her feelers to produce a light to see better. She sees in darkness a bit better, like cats and some animals do. She can talk to small animals like people, and bigger animals rarely if never fear her. She can fly with her feathered wings.

As a magic spellcaster, Angelika knows healings spells. These spells only triggers the regeneration of creatures and can't fight other than physical wounds like sicknesses, curses, and such active hurting states. The lightest heals costs fewer or even no powers before exhaustion, but costs time and concentration.

Light Healing - Angelika freely heals about a quarter of one's health state.

Active Healing - Angelika uses more of her powers to heal about full of one's health state, half of two's health state or quarter of four's health state.

Maximum Healing - Angelika uses all her powers to heal about full of two's health state, half of four's health state, or quarter of eight's health state.

She have to keep them quiet and she have to lead her people in face of Femcia and it's lazy supply of anything. She is very light or luminous as a being, very sweet, quite childish and quite irresponsible on world diplomacy while very knowing on plants and nature.

Powers & Abilities:
Angelika is quite the fey type: she have forest powers, animals powers, and healing powers. She is quite intelligent regarding plants and animals and does have few ideas on forests and stones. Her concentration once reached is high and her power range are very wide.

As a Feyler, Angelika have druidic powers produced by her antennas. She can magically freeze, flame, grow healthy or dry wither a plant, or any object smaller than 10cm in all directions. She can also levitates things and objects at maximum of 10kg in total at once. Or she can magically illuminate her feelers to produce a light to see better. She sees in darkness a bit better, like cats and some animals do. She can talk to small animals like people, and bigger animals rarely if never fear her. She can fly with her feathered wings.

As a magic spellcaster, Angelika knows healings spells. These spells only triggers the regeneration of creatures and can't fight other than physical wounds like sicknesses, curses, and such active hurting states. The lightest heals costs fewer or even no powers before exhaustion, but costs time and concentration.

Light Healing - Angelika freely heals about a quarter of one's health state.

Active Healing - Angelika uses more of her powers to heal about full of one's health state, half of two's health state or quarter of four's health state.

Maximum Healing - Angelika uses all her powers to heal about full of two's health state, half of four's health state, or quarter of eight's health state.

As a Tiefling, Angelika have few light magical powers relying mostly on illusions. Moving flames, closing a door, changing a sound's tone and slightly changing something's color.

As a princess, Angelika have a rock. The precious stone is a red ruby slab which gives her elements abilities. She have powers of making a fireball, an ice spike, a plane of growing restraining plants and a tremor of rock punch at range.

Weaknesses:
She is childish, halfly inapt of anything and quite autistic. That drives her into problems and issues regularly. She doesn't quite know how to use the Stones of Powers and is barely attuned to one. Her Feyler powers are restrained by the aluminum cones.

She have been elected by the people after resisting a rogue invasion to protect her kind and their friends like Tieflings, Satyrs, Goblins, Dryads, and Twig Blights communities.

Brief Personality Description:
Angelika is very young for the powers she have -- usually the Feyler reach her powers about twice her age. She have to keep them quiet and she have to lead her people in face of Femcia and it's lazy supply of anything. She is very light or luminous as a being, very sweet, quite childish and quite irresponsible on world diplomacy while very knowing on plants and nature.

Description of Faction's Tech, Powers, & Abilities: The Imperial Expeditionary Force is an ad-hoc military force established by the Imperial Protectorates at the orders of the Novayan (and then) Triumvirate Authority in the Imperial Region. It use Galactic Republic and Imperial and recently First Order technologies. It had adapted some technologies from the Novayans and later the Triumvirate, though the Imperial Protectorates still operate under the Novayan/Triumvirate boots.

Imperial stormtroopers and soldiers use GAR, Imperial and First Order infantry equipment, though some had begun to use Imperial versions of the Triumvirate's own infantry equipment. The All-Terrain Tactical Enforcers, All-Terrain Scout Vehicles, All-Terrain Attack Transports (both Imperial and First Order), and All-Terrain Assault Walkers (All-Terrain MegaCaliber 6) saw use, but with the advent of Novayan forces (which predated the arrival of a voidwalker expeditionary force) came the adoption of practical armored fighting vehicles, thereby increasing the survival rates of Imperial troops.

Imperial and First Order ships were also used. The majority of the ships were Imperial Star Destroyers, especially the Imperial I and Imperial II Star Destroyers that had been upgraded using imported voidwalker technologies (not paratechs). The Resurgent-class Star Destroyers were also used, albeit in limited numbers; they were also upgraded with voidwalker techs. There also existed the Acclamator-class and Toleraratis-class assault ships, the latter of which is a redesign and modernization of the former. The Onager-class and Mandator IV siege dreadnoughts also saw use albeit in even more limited numbers. And then there's the Indefatigable-class star dreadnoughts, the most rarest ships in the Imperial Protectorates. Only five existed, and one of them, the Indisputable - which was shipped to Jaigadur two years before the Novayans' arrival, was renamed to Indefatigable and became the flagship of Fleet Admiral Marikar Nimchiv Cakthor. The Imperial Kalaidian Armed Forces, also known as the Imperial Kalaidian or Kalaidian Imperial Military, had about ten percent of the total Kalaidian population: three percent were in active military service while seven percent were in the military reserve forces. Lastly, thaumaturgy is also commonplace but there is a uniform/standardized system on the eight types of thaumaturgy: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Astral, Nature, Blood and Death. Astral, Nature, Air and Death Magic are very much common, though Astral is the most dominant of the four.

However, she is far more honest and more humble as she doesn't take her divinity for granted and doesn't even flaunt her purported divine ancestry to get what she wants; instead, she gets what she wants through hard work, patience and competence. She also prefers those who play fair and square. Oh, and she's very gregarious, compassionate, kind and sociable towards her people. Those outside the Kalaidian Empre would see her as a woman of divine ancestry who is indifferent and even considered cruel and tyrannical; in reality, however, she's only indifferent due to her stoic, calm expression that is on her face. Lastly, she follows by example: demonstrating bravery and courage whether in battle or not, making good on her promises to answer the peoples' needs, and displaying a level of competence, honesty and transparency unparalleled unlike the more devious and corrupt leaders outside the empire.

However, Empress Borealis would have no patience nor time for the foolishness, the constant horse-manures spouted out by those who takes their positions for granted; because of her merits-based mindset she would see the incompetent fools removed and replaced by those she sees a much greater potential. Empress Borealis also hates incompetence and the blatant hypocrisies spewed around, which led to her establishing a flexible yet strictly organized bureaucracy that runs on merits, skills, experience, transparency, honest and competence.

Force Lightning: An offensive Force technique that uses Force energy to produce electricity with one or two hands that stream outwards from the fingertips, its speed is usually great enough to catch an opponent off-guard even when prepared, and can be used either in bursts, or simply torrent out in a gush of agony on its victim.
Force Barrier: Both an offensive and defensive Force power that creates a barrier or wall of Force energy around the intended target, be itself, friend, or foe. Depending on the strength of the individual, the barrier could only withstand a few attacks before collapsing.
Force Drain: Vitiate drains the life from his opponents and adds it to his own. The scale at which he can use the ability varies from just drawing life energy from those surrounding him to a planet-wide draining of the Force (The latter requiring ten days of prep and the assistance of 8,000 other Sith Lords prior to the original ritual on Nathema).
Force Illusion: The user projects an image into the minds of beings within range, of anything from a pillar of fire to a horde of snarling monsters to a fleet of warships, depending on the range. The user could "see" the illusion as well, though it would be only partially there, semi-transparent like a hologram. Vitiate's most common application of the skill was conjuring doppelgangers of himself to further confuse those he would face in combat.
Sever Force: Vitiate attacks a Force User's connection to the Force and can deaden or even outright eliminate his opponent's connection in the process. Vitiate used this power to sever his father's connection to the force.
Telekinesis: Vitiate can use this through the Force to put his mind literally over matter, capable of blasting opponents, shielding himself or disarming people, its limits are only those of the creativity that Force User has.
Telepathy: Can easily manipulate others mentally with the Force to trick, deceive, maim or even kill outright. Can also use this power externally or internally when it comes to illusion creation, manifestation, and manipulation.
Sith Sorcery: Tenebrae is a legendary practitioner of the ancient magicks of the Sith, and could use them for a great variety of purposes: from creating Dark Creatures out of nothing but pure Dark Side energy, to annihilate all life in a planetary level (and potentially, galactic) via a complex Sith Ritual called "Nathemic Ritual".

Interessante, a bit confusing but I’d like to see what it’s all about
Ardchu is a fun country to enjoy nature in, but also you can be murdered on the street by police or by the native wildlife, who are citizens here. And yes, we can talk with them and they can talk with us. They are equal citizens of this country, and we are disgusted by speciesism. They are canonically as smart as humans and can think for themselves, and many of them have run the country. National language is Ardchuan, but it's mandatory to learn at least one other nature language in school.

After like a million years of sitting on my ass, I've finally managed to cobble something together.

Name: Corporal Mary Edythe Wellington*

A short young woman of about five feet, give or take, with a medium build, wearing military attire reminiscent of those issued to UK and Commonwealth troops in the Early 20th Century. She has short blonde hair and sky-blue eyes.

Powers & Abilities:
Radiotelegraphy - The ability to communicate on the battlefield is vital, and the introduction of the telegraph and radio have revolutionised the way that armies relay information during wartime. For Mary, the radio isn't just a gadget for leisure and entertainment, but an invaluable tool -- one that could very well make the difference between life and death in the worst-case scenario. For this reason, she has become proficient in its usage.
Battlefield Fortification - Wars aren't simply won by taking ground, but by holding captured territory, and by effectively defending one's own territory from the enemy. To that end, entrenchment and fortification allow a fighting force to more easily repulse assaulting enemies, and to protect its own men from the enemy's attacks. For Mary, digging trenches and laying wire are almost second nature.
Demolition - Fortifying and defending one's own positions are important, but so are removing and taking the enemy's. Wire can be cut just as easily as it's laid, and hours of pillbox construction can be undone with the pull of a timed charge's chord. That said, Mary would rather not have to rely on such skills if she can help it.
Marksmanship - Marksmanship is one of the most basic skills that a soldier can learn, and also one of the most important. Luckily for Mary, she's a crack shot! Gallinaighan sharpshooters are highly valued by the Royal Army for their excellent eyesight.
Feline Physiology - The half-men of The Gallinaighs are not fully Human, and as such they possess a number of subtle physiological quirks that set them apart from their full-blooded Human comrades. It's not a drastic difference, however, and the strength of these animal quirks varies from person to person. In Mary's case, her strong legs make her an excellent runner and climber. As such, she's often chosen as a forward scout or runner.
Reconnaissance: Moving on foot or by armoured car, sleuthing through bushes, and seeking out targets and points of interests for her comrades - Mary is an expert at keeping a low profile and spying on others.
Battlefield Triage: Performing basic first aid, applying tourniquets, and dressing wounds in a pinch.


Weaknesses:
Shell Shock - Combat Fatigue; Mary's case is fairly mild, but it still manifests itself in odd ways. Loud noises tend to put her on edge, and she often has difficulties interacting with others on a deep level. Though, she mostly just opts to remain quiet and act distant towards others.
War Wounds - Mild injuries sustained as a result of hostile mortar fire. Mary's left hand and knee have minor nerve damage, which make it somewhat difficult for her to lift heavy objects or put excessive weight on one leg without feeling great pain or discomfort. Aside from that, she's in fairly good shape.
Hemophobia* - Ironically, Mary isn't a fan of blood! She can handle minor cuts and superficial wounds, but anything past that and it becomes difficult for her to think straight or keep her composure. She can keep herself together just enough to get out of danger or tend to particularly important matters so long as she does her best to avoid directly looking at blood or gore, but then she'll run off to collect herself at her earliest convenience.

The Gallinaighs
The Gallinaighs are an archipelago of one-hundred-and-sixteen small isles, characterised by a cool climate and frequent stormy weather. They were initially charted by intrepid Viking explorers, who dubbed them as the "Enchanted Isles" because of their strange abhuman inhabitants, and the mysterious occult rituals that they were said to perform. Other explorers dubbed The Gallinaighs as the "Mad Isles", and several other names were given to the isles throughout the centuries before their official designation in the fifteenth century, with the annexation of the isles by Scotland. Pre-Viking Gallinaighan culture was pseudo-matriarchal, and the "half-men" of the isles practised a fetishistic pagan faith. Clan warfare was frequent and bloody, and only came to an end with the unification of The Gallinaighs by Magnus Jørundsson. In the centuries that followed, Norse and Gaelic settlers arrived and intermixed with the natives, and their customs and traditions were quickly adopted - and adapted - by the Gallinaighan clans. The isles were integrated into the Kingdom of Norway, and remained Norwegian until the late fifteenth century, when economic hardship forced the Norwegian king to sell the isles to Scotland. Later, in 1707, The Gallinaighs became a part of Great Britain under The Acts of Union.

Mary
Mary was born and raised on the isle of New Caithness, in the northern region of The Gallinaighs. There, in the foothills of the Glasiomaire Mountains, she helped her family in tending to their small farmstead. Though she was a very plain girl from a simple background, she possessed an adventurous spirit, and when she wasn't helping her family, she was striking out on her own to hike and camp throughout the Gallinaighan countryside. Her wanderlust and her adventurous spirit were fuelled by the media that she consumed as a child -- thick adventure novels, dramatic radio shows, and sensationalised war stories, which caught her interest and stirred her imagination from a young age. Her fondness for the outdoors and ambitions of seeing the world were well-known, of course, but even so, it came as a surprise to her family when Mary enlisted in the Royal Army. It happened practically right out of school, when she took up the offer to go see the world by volunteering for service with a pair of Gallinaighan recruiters.

Upon her enlistment, Miss Wellington was summoned to a training grounds in the Southern Gallinaighs, where she was taught everything from marksmanship to radio operations and land navigation. The training was rough, but she ultimately made it through. Following the completion of her training, Mary was assigned to the Gallinaighan Rifles*, serving in one of the brigade's support companies. Her first assignment away from home was to a Royal Army base in Norwegian-controlled Frisland, where she first became acclimatised to regular interaction with Non-Gallinaighan personnel and locals. Her first combat deployment occurred during the Anglo-Hispanic War, in which her unit undertook combat operations against Spanish forces on Antilia; during the Siege of Ansesseli, the then-Private Wellington sustained mild injuries to her left arm and leg as the result of enemy mortar fire while serving as a forward scout and wire cutter. Privacy and solitude are important. They've always been important to her, but even more so since her enlistment. Everybody has some things that they'd rather keep to themselves, and she's no different. She's always been an energetic person, but that bustling energy isn't always what has her acting so wiry, and though she may be a surprisingly-adventurous young woman, there are plenty of stories from her travels that she'd rather not recount to others. Everybody handles shell shock differently, and in Wellington's case? She's become very withdrawn and solemn person -- solemn, sarcastic, and dry-witted. Black humour and frequent sarcastic remarks are her bread and butter.

But again, that's all information that's better kept on the down-low. The last thing that Mary wants is for people to think of her as some down-in-the-dumps sod. Better to be recognised for her better qualities, like her hard work ethic and her hobbies and skillsets. She loves books of all kinds, although history and mythology are of particular interest to her. Radiotelegraphy - The ability to communicate on the battlefield is vital, and the introduction of the telegraph and radio have revolutionised the way that armies relay information during wartime. For Mary, the radio isn't just a gadget for leisure and entertainment, but an invaluable tool -- one that could very well make the difference between life and death in the worst-case scenario. For this reason, she has become proficient in its usage.
Battlefield Fortification - Wars aren't simply won by taking ground, but by holding captured territory, and by effectively defending one's own territory from the enemy. To that end, entrenchment and fortification allow a fighting force to more easily repulse assaulting enemies, and to protect its own men from the enemy's attacks. For Mary, digging trenches and laying wire are almost second nature.
Demolition - Fortifying and defending one's own positions are important, but so are removing and taking the enemy's. Wire can be cut just as easily as it's laid, and hours of pillbox construction can be undone with the pull of a timed charge's chord. That said, Mary would rather not have to rely on such skills if she can help it.
Marksmanship - Marksmanship is one of the most basic skills that a soldier can learn, and also one of the most important. Luckily for Mary, she's a crack shot! Gallinaighan sharpshooters are highly valued by the Royal Army for their excellent eyesight.
Feline Physiology - The half-men of The Gallinaighs are not fully Human, and as such they possess a number of subtle physiological quirks that set them apart from their full-blooded Human comrades. It's not a drastic difference, however, and the strength of these animal quirks varies from person to person. In Mary's case, her strong legs make her an excellent runner and climber. As such, she's often chosen as a forward scout or runner.
Reconnaissance: Moving on foot or by armoured car, sleuthing through bushes, and seeking out targets and points of interests for her comrades - Mary is an expert at keeping a low profile and spying on others.
Battlefield Triage: Performing basic first aid, applying tourniquets, and dressing wounds in a pinch.


Weaknesses:
Shell Shock - Combat Fatigue; Mary's case is fairly mild, but it still manifests itself in odd ways. Loud noises tend to put her on edge, and she often has difficulties interacting with others on a deep level. Though, she mostly just opts to remain quiet and act distant towards others.
War Wounds - Mild injuries sustained as a result of hostile mortar fire. Mary's left hand and knee have minor nerve damage, which make it somewhat difficult for her to lift heavy objects or put excessive weight on one leg without feeling great pain or discomfort. Aside from that, she's in fairly good shape.
Hemophobia* - Ironically, Mary isn't a fan of blood! She can handle minor cuts and superficial wounds, but anything past that and it becomes difficult for her to think straight or keep her composure. She can keep herself together just enough to get out of danger or tend to particularly important matters so long as she does her best to avoid directly looking at blood or gore, but then she'll run off to collect herself at her earliest convenience.

Brief Bio/History*:
The Gallinaighs
The Gallinaighs are an archipelago of one-hundred-and-sixteen small isles, characterised by a cool climate and frequent stormy weather. They were initially charted by intrepid Viking explorers, who dubbed them as the "Enchanted Isles" because of their strange abhuman inhabitants, and the mysterious occult rituals that they were said to perform. Other explorers dubbed The Gallinaighs as the "Mad Isles", and several other names were given to the isles throughout the centuries before their official designation in the fifteenth century, with the annexation of the isles by Scotland. Pre-Viking Gallinaighan culture was pseudo-matriarchal, and the "half-men" of the isles practised a fetishistic pagan faith. Clan warfare was frequent and bloody, and only came to an end with the unification of The Gallinaighs by Magnus Jørundsson. In the centuries that followed, Norse and Gaelic settlers arrived and intermixed with the natives, and their customs and traditions were quickly adopted - and adapted - by the Gallinaighan clans. The isles were integrated into the Kingdom of Norway, and remained Norwegian until the late fifteenth century, when economic hardship forced the Norwegian king to sell the isles to Scotland. Later, in 1707, The Gallinaighs became a part of Great Britain under The Acts of Union.

Mary was born and raised on the isle of New Caithness, in the northern region of The Gallinaighs. There, in the foothills of the Glasiomaire Mountains, she helped her family in tending to their small farmstead. Though she was a very plain girl from a simple background, she possessed an adventurous spirit, and when she wasn't helping her family, she was striking out on her own to hike and camp throughout the Gallinaighan countryside. Her wanderlust and her adventurous spirit were fuelled by the media that she consumed as a child -- thick adventure novels, dramatic radio shows, and sensationalised war stories, which caught her interest and stirred her imagination from a young age. Her fondness for the outdoors and ambitions of seeing the world were well-known, of course, but even so, it came as a surprise to her family when Mary enlisted in the Royal Army. It happened practically right out of school, when she took up the offer to go see the world by volunteering for service with a pair of Gallinaighan recruiters.

Upon her enlistment, Miss Wellington was summoned to a training grounds in the Southern Gallinaighs, where she was taught everything from marksmanship to radio operations and land navigation. The training was rough, but she ultimately made it through. Following the completion of her training, Mary was assigned to the Gallinaighan Rifles*, serving in one of the brigade's support companies. Her first assignment away from home was to a Royal Army base in Norwegian-controlled Frisland, where she first became acclimatised to regular interaction with Non-Gallinaighan personnel and locals. Her first combat deployment occurred during the Anglo-Hispanic War, in which her unit undertook combat operations against Spanish forces on Antilia; during the Siege of Ansesseli, the then-Private Wellington sustained mild injuries to her left arm and leg as the result of enemy mortar fire while serving as a forward scout and wire cutter. After the war, Mary's unit returned to Frisland for a short period of rest and relaxation, before being transferred to one of the Royal Army's Mediterranean Garrisons.
