Excellent detail! Would the Palace be in the grounds of parliament house or would it replace the IRL War Memorial in the Canberra Triangle? Or possibly near ANU/the roundabout at the intersection of Constitution and Commonwealth Avenues are IRL?

Funny enough my idea is that the palace is the irl Government House for the irl Australian Governor General.

Debating on having that be the day to day residence with a grand palace near parliament in the style of Buckingham.

Actually kinda thought about having Old Parliament House be the “King’s office” like the IRL Eisenhower Executive Office Building in the US but having it also include apartments similar to Buckingham for the royal family and guests. Not sure if I wanna go with that same design or a new building.

That could work. On the banks of Lake Burley Griffin at the IRL Commonwealth Place could also work. Another one you could do is maybe have it on Black Mountain. Although seems like it's in vain given the lack of activity

What are your thoughts on using the irl Old Parliament Building with just a different internal layout? Like Buckingham, it’s the “official” residence but not the place where the family lives most of the time. That place is the IRL Government House known as Canberra Palace in this RP. The “official” palace would, perhaps, be known as The Australasian Palace.

Pretty small scale, a number of cells operating mostly in the North being hounded by the Korean security services and Kempeitai.

There is still popular opposition to Japanese rule though most of it relegated to marches, sit-ins and the occasional riot

They serve as the third head of the Entente and basically consider the Mediterranean as theirs too police/influence, they have had better luck in the world wars compared too our time line, and are probably much more willing to act aggressively too protect Italian and entente interests in the Mediterranean and the Balkans
