I'm not sure how the latter would work. Just inner city families losing their homes to high prices? Would have to be explained in m detail.

That's true. I feel like the gentrifying neighborhood is just the setting, it's kind of a slice-of-life RP first and foremost. Not 100% sure how it works.

Looking for 1-3 somewhat experienced co-ops to partner with on an RP.

Here's the basic overview. Still a WIP, but it serves it's purpose well enough.

In short, the RP is a horror/sci-fi/survival type deal starring humans, mutants, and a stealthy menace.

In 1972, an unmarked truck transporting an unknown substance collided with a sedan going 90 on a country road, spilling the contents of it's hull to the wind. While the crash itself was covered up rather easily, it's effects were more difficult to deal with, as fragments of the material had been blown miles away and some fell near inhabited areas. While the material itself wouldn't kill anyone, it could cause deformities in infants if their mothers were exposed to it during pregnancy.

However, the reclusive agency for which the truck was delivering was unaware of the effects on fetuses and they assumed that the toxin was a dud. Roughly a year later, though, they began to discover how wrong they'd been. Over forty such affected children were discovered, most of which having bizarre deformities and mutations and a smaller number displaying abilities outside of the natural- telekinesis, telepathy, and more. Realizing the significance of these developments and the possibility of scandal, the agency reacted swiftly with a campaign of death-fakery, kidnapping, and censure in order to conduct further research on the children without interruption at a secure facility in Oregon.

Two years later, after an escape attempt by one of the most powerful psychics, 7-VB-3, most of the children and a few other, newer experiments were relocated to an island off the coast of British Columbia for fear of the damage a more successful escape attempt could cause. (Link is roughly the location of the Island.) Following a few further accidents, however, it was decided that the most dangerous of the experiments would be allowed to roam free on the island's surface while cameras operated from below watched their every move, occasionally recapturing them for study and further experimentation. Soon, the island officially became the Ballinger-Irving Center for Military Research in 1975.

2025: The BICMR's staff had just finished celebrating the facility's 50th anniversary when a body was found below decks, torn apart and coated in a caustic fluid. Not the most uncommon occurrence, except for two things: nobody recognized the man in the morgue, and the creature behind the attack was still on the loose.

I have some ideas for an rp and wondered if anyone would be interested in one.

1: A nation rp similar to Alternative Divergence where you have the freedom to create or play a nation from the past within reason but, set in the modern-day. I am thinking around 2015 to be specific.

2: A similar to 1 but, set during the cold war where nations have to choose a side and deal with proxy conflicts and the such.

3: A Gate rp where like the others is about the fantasy world invading through a portal and getting their butt kicked and the modern military going through the portal and fighting the natives/exploring the world. Instead of a normal fantasy world, the fantasy world would be post-apocalyptic and there will be plenty of special monsters, secrets, and more for the recon group to discover.

4: A rp inspired by the Czechoslovak Legion but, more specifically their long trip home. In the rp people will be playing members of a legion that has found itself stuck far behind in foreign lands after the end of a massive war. The rp would be about their long journey home while having to negotiate and fight for or against others since the land they are stuck in is plagued by civil war. So getting home will be a challenge the legion has to face while traveling the land back home.

So I might need help with either of these ideas and would like a co-op if any of these ideas are interesting to anyone.

Go ahead and post on it if you want! It takes me a while to update it because I write everything down in a notebook first before I throw it on a laptop. Helps me concentrate. Also, I don’t always have access to a laptop and I don’t want to write everything in my phone. Currently working on the geography of the world and a couple of places of interest.

Seeing as there aren't any active Star Wars RPs running at the moment, would anyone potentially be interested in one?
Still thinking about exact settings and type (character vs faction), so very open to suggestions.

the alt div idea sounds great imo. I'd definitely join a Cold War-type one because that way it would at least have to be somewhat balanced rather than a total free-for-all that they can turn into sometimes.
