Biography: Tariq was born in the city of Giza, Egypt. His father was a local police officer while his mother stayed at home taking care of the family. He wpuld gaze at the pyramids at night wondering how the ancient Egyptians create such a monument that last the test of time. He would spend hours upon hours reading about the ancient world always wanting to know more. In college he lead an expedition into the desert im effort to find the ancient Book of Thoth. A book that held hidden knowledge of the gods, a book that could teach those who posses it magic.
But things did not go according to plan with one of his fellow student nearly dying, the college withdrew their support and funding. This did not deter Tariq as he felt he was close to finidng the ancient book. 5 day he stayed in the desert looking for any hint of it, but he nearly died. A local managed to find himself before he died of dehydration nursing him back to health. He knew what Tariq seeked but told him if wanted to find the book he would pay a price for it. He agreed and the man lead him to a cave there he found the book not knowing exactly the price he would pay.
Studying it day and night Tariq became a master at the magic it offered to show him. But in return it took his sense of touch away from him he would never feel another person warmth again.
Years past and the deterioration of his country to corruption lead him to want make a change. He entered politics using both his will and the magic he learned he soon became president of his country. But what happened behind the scenes was he was using the same tactics of those leader that came before.
He was made president during the new millennium, seeing as he needed to united North Africa under one nation one ruler. Though action he managed again and again to stay the president of the now United Lands of Egypt.

Not only that, but his calming voice could even help the biggest insomniac sleep, which attracted to him a very particular kind of romantic partner throughout university. Eventually, he was offered a place at Yale Medical, which he took up gladly. It was here that he got into 'utopic urbanism', since the car-centric cities of the US were so horrificly designed for pedestrians. His love for architecture sprung from his desire to create a better world, not just understand it. Here, he began to use his powers for what he saw as 'good'; implanting ideas into the heads of civil servants, and coaxing them into implementing them. However, the democratic process proved a hurdle, as politicians were not interested in long-term projects, only short-term gains. Capitalism itself seemed against him.
Since he was not a known metahuman, he was not actively involved in the coup that overthrew the world governments. However, he was incredibly pleased when it happened regardless. He saw a chance for a New World Order to be implemented. He outed himself almost immediately, and became a volunteer for that New World Order. As a doctor of neurology, with a minor in psychology, he was a sought-after psychiatrist, helping metahumans get over the worst trauma of the coup and their times before that, but also helping some with the new burden of command. It was in this capacity that he became a friend of Josiah Kelvin, just before the latter murdered his mother. In the sweeping changes that followed, Timothy managed to convince Josiah that he should be given the barony of what was to be called Colombia, after the queen of Earth, to reshape in his image as an urbanist vision of the future. At the same time, Timothy discovered the use of his powers, not only to help people, but to torture them into giving information as well, without leaving so much as a scar to prove it. So, for special cases, Dr. Jewel was called in for particularly tight-lipped suspects, now housed at the Arlington Panopticon, a special prison after his own design.
Now, Dr. Jewel is much. A psychiatrist for the ruling classes of Earth, an architect, an aquirer of information and, in some cases, a diplomat, being able to speak with people even if they are far away and their location is unknown. The reconstruction of Colombia is well underway, and within a few years, Timothy Jewel will hope to present it to all the other dynasts of the world.
Additional information: Dr. Jewel is currently engaged in his biggest project: the total reconstruction of Washington D.C. as a city, which he plans to turn into the ultimate, rational, egalitarian city. Biography:Alfonso was born to Liliana Cortes and the then Prince Carlos of Spain. His father was a bit of a playboy and tended to peruse the Spanish clubs to find another notch under his belt. One of these club he found Liliana Cortes a simple university student with big dreams. What was meant to be a one night stand became a nightmare for the Prince. A child was produced of that one night, Carlos knew that this would be a disaster for the Crown and decided to pay off Liliana to keep quiet but she refused. Over the course of several years she would be in the news and papers telling of her royal son, and the man that refused to acknowledge him. Carlos decided enough was enough and decided to make Liliana and her son disappear, thing did not go according to plan as Alfonse managed to survived the attack while his mother did not.
For years he was on the run, managing to stay one step ahead of his father, eventually getting recruited by the Shadow Organization only known as Eclipse, in exchange for doing their work Carlos would not be able to harm him. He proved to be a valuable asset to Eclipse, and making a name for himself simply known as the Shadow as most of his targets that would be the last thing they saw. Eventually Alfonso was allow to work freelancing, though ultimately his allegiance belongs to Eclipse, as long as his work did not interfere with the 'Status Quo' as Eclipse refers to the state of the current world.

Luis's reign as monarch was a benevolent one, working to reverse much of the damage that Franco had done to the Spanish. He was known as the Good King, increasing citizen's rights and and liberties and several reforms through Spain's parliament at the behest of the King.
On the last day of the year 1999, Luis abdicated the Spanish throne leaving Carlos to assume it the very next day at the start of the new millennium. Many questioned the sudden abdication, and Carlos' rule was the opposite of his father. He tighten his grip on power, lessen citizen's rights and freedoms, but this was done after he craft a cult of personality for himself for several years. Citizens have grown restless at least the ones that brave enough to voice their opinion to the Tyrant as they taking to call their king.

He can't compel people to do things they cannot fulfill, such as walking through a wall.
Biography: Carlos was born to the future King Luis II a few years before his father ascended to the Spanish throne. He was the first born out of three siblings, and from a young age he was taught to be the next in line after his father. Though he found himself escaping the rigors of royalty into various parties and clubs, sleeping with any woman that looked his way. And of course one night sleep with one who ends up with a son, of course this would look bad for him family he tried to silence her though word that it ended up a failure as some how the son managed to escape those that Carlos had sent after him.
But he persisted through any means to close that wild chapter of his life. He began to take more and more responsibility, as his father was slowly taught to give his heir more and more responsibility. Though many do not know it was him who persuaded his father to eventually abdicate on the last day of 1999. From the he ran Spain with a iron fist, silence those that would pose a threat to his power. He hopes to become a permanent member of the High Council if by any means.

He was the first born out of three siblings, and from a young age he was taught to be the next in line after his father. Though he found himself escaping the rigors of royalty into various parties and clubs, sleeping with any woman that looked his way. And of course one night sleep with one who ends up with a son, of course this would look bad for him family he tried to silence her though word that it ended up a failure as some how the son managed to escape those that Carlos had sent after him.
But he persisted through any means to close that wild chapter of his life. He began to take more and more responsibility, as his father was slowly taught to give his heir more and more responsibility. Though many do not know it was him who persuaded his father to eventually abdicate on the last day of 1999. From the he ran Spain with a iron fist, silence those that would pose a threat to his power. He hopes to become a permanent member of the High Council if by any means.

1. That shouldn't be a problem
2. You could say which Dynasty your character is attached to if he's a lower ranking vassal, or you can say he's attached to the System if he's like a free blade or a mercanry.

The power quickly dissapates, but it still allows him to enter any dream state, which allows him to converse with the dreamer. The power stops there, however. He cannot wake people up or guess their location, he cannot read their minds apart from the dreams they have, and unless he is close, people can easily block any dreams they don't want him to see. Up close, it is a weapon of extreme psychological torture, but from afar, it is more of a method of communication.
Sandman: Dr. Jewel can coax people to sleep. 'Coax' is the right word here: he cannot force people to sleep. If people resist the urge, then he is powerless. However, he can make those that are unprepared slowly fall into drowsiness and eventual sleep, where he can in turn enter their dreams, or leave them be. The more distress someone is in, the less effect this power has.
Biography: Tim Jewel was born in Manchester, the UK. Tim never met his father, as he had left his mother following her pregnancy. He was some metahuman in disguise, fleeing both the governments trying to use him, as well as the metas slowly planning their overthrow. Comitment to family, however, was too much for him, as was the possibility that a meta child would out his secret identity to the world. As a result, Tim was raised by his mother, for whom he still has great affection. While they did not have much, she gave him what she could, which included a membership of the local library. Every month, Tim could pick out a number of books he liked, and take them home. This sparked his major interests: dinosaurs, cars, airplanes, ancient Egypt, spaceflight, big buildings, the weather... Every month a new obsession, and something he could sink his teeth in.
He did not do well at school, partially because his kind of rapid-fire curiosity did not vibe well with the classical method of education, which required slow regurgitation of processes and facts, and an eventual test during which you had to precisely recollect what you had learned. No matter, while he did not do well, he always earned at least passing grades, and the respect of his teachers got him most of the way there, even if the often flunked his tests. It was towards High School that he began to notice his powers; before, his friends in primary school had not found it odd that Tim would appear in their dreams. Dreaming together was fun, and allowed for far more adventures than in the real world. Sleepovers with Tim Jewel were the best, and that made him very popular. However, towards High School, Tim began to notice how impossible it was for him to actually visit the dreams of others. As he became more afraid of it, it started to happen less and less, only happening a handful of times over the duration of his high school experience. Rare enough that he could pass it off as a fluke.
It was not until the final year of high school that he had a true revelation: his first girlfriend stayed over for the first time, and when she was there, he experienced a fevered night that did not make sense in the slightest. He dreamt what felt like a hundred different dreams, and reality and dream blended over into one another. Towards the early morning, bathing in fevered sweat, he began to experiment, coming in and out of his girlfriend Sarah's dreams, talking to her, and influencing what she dreamt about. That night, he realised what was the matter with him, and the next morning, he realised that he would have to make it his life's work to understand what was going on with him. So when he picked a field of study at university, he picked neurology, in particular oneirology; the study of dreams.
For the first time, he excelled at something. His colleagues in the field were often astounded by the way that Tim seemed to fundamentally and instinctively understand dreams, and he finished his studies summa cum laude. Not only that, but Tim was a favourite buddy to do drugs with, since he could show you things that were truly out of this world. Not only that, but his calming voice could even help the biggest insomniac sleep, which attracted to him a very particular kind of romantic partner throughout university. Eventually, he was offered a place at Yale Medical, which he took up gladly. It was here that he got into 'utopic urbanism', since the car-centric cities of the US were so horrificly designed for pedestrians. His love for architecture sprung from his desire to create a better world, not just understand it. Here, he began to use his powers for what he saw as 'good'; implanting ideas into the heads of civil servants, and coaxing them into implementing them. However, the democratic process proved a hurdle, as politicians were not interested in long-term projects, only short-term gains. Capitalism itself seemed against him.
Since he was not a known metahuman, he was not actively involved in the coup that overthrew the world governments. However, he was incredibly pleased when it happened regardless. He saw a chance for a New World Order to be implemented. He outed himself almost immediately, and became a volunteer for that New World Order. As a doctor of neurology, with a minor in psychology, he was a sought-after psychiatrist, helping metahumans get over the worst trauma of the coup and their times before that, but also helping some with the new burden of command. It was in this capacity that he became a friend of Josiah Kelvin, just before the latter murdered his mother. In the sweeping changes that followed, Timothy managed to convince Josiah that he should be given the barony of what was to be called Colombia, after the queen of Earth, to reshape in his image as an urbanist vision of the future. At the same time, Timothy discovered the use of his powers, not only to help people, but to torture them into giving information as well, without leaving so much as a scar to prove it. So, for special cases, Dr. Jewel was called in for particularly tight-lipped suspects, now housed at the Arlington Panopticon, a special prison after his own design.
Now, Dr. Jewel is much. A psychiatrist for the ruling classes of Earth, an architect, an aquirer of information and, in some cases, a diplomat, being able to speak with people even if they are far away and their location is unknown. The reconstruction of Colombia is well underway, and within a few years, Timothy Jewel will hope to present it to all the other dynasts of the world.
Additional information: Dr. Jewel is currently engaged in his biggest project: the total reconstruction of Washington D.C. as a city, which he plans to turn into the ultimate, rational, egalitarian city. A utopia through city design, heavily reliant on optical illusions and lines of sight. It is part of the vision that the Old World, and the memories of the Old Government, should be removed.

Nice, since you are the guy in control of SA do you have any problem with me being a lower ranking vassal in some portion of brazil? i don't want anything very big to not block other more active people from playing ze country tho
