If you're reading this and are friendly, here's my resume. If you're law enforcement of some kind then don't bothering trying to cross-reference any of these with your data. I've removed myself and my family from your records. Fuck you.

Name: I erased that long ago so you can just stick with Black Hat, thanks. If you're my boss and thus won't be dissuaded you should be able to see my original name, Epitome Hahn
Gender: Female
Age: I believe 33 but I haven't really kept track. Kind of defeats the purposes of coming up with new identities.
Appearance (picture or written description): Grubby, grim and grimy that's me.
Place of origin: Seattle originally, spent most of my formative years in Macau and the bounced around between various rebel bands in North American and East Asia.
Magic user: Yep
Magic spells: -Hoist: Lifting something with the power of the mind and floating or throwing it somewhere else. I can really only lift up to twenty pounds or so but I can also launch that twenty pounds like a missile. Anything heavier than that just gets sort of dragged, slower and slower as the weight increases.
-Beige: Making myself a blur. I don't become physically invisible but socially, people's eyes slide right past me as I blend into the walls as a faceless drone. I become beneath notice or remembrance, making it harder to alert the enemy. Pairs nicely with forged credentials.
-Wash: For security measures that would take too long to defeat the normal way. I overwhelm their programming and essentially smother it to death with waves of what is essentially white noise so that I can pick through the pieces afterward. This is hardly a subtle technique, anyone with any programming know-how will take one look and see that its been tampered with so its really only for smash and grab type operations.
-Zap: A bolt of lightning straight from my hand into someone's head. Guaranteed to give them a bad day.
-Embolden: Using a weapon as a conduit I can channel magic into, making it hit much harder for as long as I'm focusing.
Role: Hacker, security expert, magician
Skills: If it has circuits and a motherboard I know how to take it apart, piece it back together and make it do what I want. Given enough time and a good reason I can break into secure communications channels, access financial information, fry the motherboards in enemy robots or shut down cameras with the press of a button and the whisper of a magic word. I'm not really one for creeping around like a ninja but social stealth is my thing. A lifetime spent coming up with fake identities and hiding the fact that I'm a goddamn wizard means that I'm your girl if you need to enter a building through the front door.
Equipment: H&K MP7 Submachine Gun: Light, easy to use and firing rounds designed to defeat personal body armor. If I have to use a gun I prefer it to be this one
Taurus Raging Judge:For when something absolutely needs to die right now. Can be loaded with .410 shotgun shells or the fairly ridiculous 454 Casull in case I run into any bears.
"Evan": My eye in the sky. Good for surveillance and not much else.
Kaeltech Cyberdeck, Mod "Black Hat": Tech taken from one of Mirat's lapdogs with my own flair added to it. Portable enough to be carried on a simple sling and powerful enough that I'm able to go about my business. Comes with a variety of connectors and adaptors so it can be charged by pretty much anything with an outlet.
PHUD and Headset: Personnel Heads Up Display. Keeps me aware of things as they come up, can accept audiovisual feeds from Evan or any cameras I happen to be wired into and lets me listen to music.

Background: I was born in Seattle, Washington into a family with a long history of dissidence. My father Elias Hahn wasn't attached to any particular cell but worked as a rōnin of sorts, traveling from place to place furtively and offering his services to any group in need of a gunman. My mother was Liang Jingyi, a transplant from Mirat's territory who worked as a systems analyst by day and ran intel to local insurgents by night. Their paths crossed on a small raid against an Archonate armory, they watched each others backs, fell in love and one thing led to another and there I was.

The happy outlaw family thing wasn't going to last. When I was maybe six or seven Dad was killed in action and his body dumped at see by the group he was with at the moment and Mom, sensing that it was time for a change of location, took me back home to Macau. She hoped that the Archon's rivalries would keep them from sharing too much information thus allowing us to slip through the cracks of society but the risk was still high. To mitigate this she taught me how to become faceless. My identity and very existence was stripped from any and all records to replaced by a series of forged credentials with matching financial histories and bulletproof documentation. I I was homeschooled in all the basics along with the tricks of her trade, computers and subterfuge subjects I took too very well.

Magic was trickier to manage. My Dad had been the one who had passed it down to me so without him Mom was forced to find tutors in the various cells and secret societies she dealt with. It wasn't always easy but she managed to find me enough instruction that I could be trusted to cast spells without blowing myself and the whole building up. By the end of my education I was as ready for a life of living in the shadows as I could ever be.

And on my 18th birthday I'd get to find out because that was when Mom tossed me towards the door. It was sudden but not unexpected, both of us being in the same place meant an increased risk of attracting attention. We said our goodbyes and I never saw her again, bouncing around different groups in East Asia and North America because I had spent all my life training to be a rebel. The only constant was the pseudonym I went by, Black Hat. I saw some action here and there but most of my work was on the backend, securing floorplans and the itineraries of bigwigs from supposedly secure databases. Without a proper job I supported myself through theft, siphoning money from various banks and other sources into accounts I owned under various fake names.

And that was my life for fifteen years. Pop up somewhere, do odd jobs for the resistance in the area while living in cheap apartments funded by reallocated cash until it was time to delete my current identity and disappear to somewhere else. Eventually I stumbled my way onto a group of Vanguard members operating in Japan and signed on with them for a while. One raid on a security force checkpoint and a reprogrammed warbot later I was asked to stick around full-time. And I did, if only to break up the monotony.

Optional:
Personality: I'm fairly cynical all things considered. Sure I might have resigned myself to a long way against the Archons but that doesn't mean I think we're going to win. The best I can do is keep moving forward and when it all inevitably falls apart I'll go to ground just like I always do. I like to completely rework my appearance every now and again, usually just a dye job, haircut and new sense of style but the occasional bit of plastic surgery never hurt anyone.
Likes: Chess, hot showers, easy money and Skanderbeg
Dislikes: Grandstanding, carelessness, naïve amounts of optimism
Family: If you could see them listed in the report good for you, if you lack that access I'm not giving it out here.

Her Tone is dark, but sweet jesus. What in the world did she go through?

She is fairly grim but I didn't feel she was totally out of place. I was going for something more dry than totally dark, sounds like I messed that up

/bump

Also, me like your new character(s) Theyra and Soviet Farm, they're quite good indeed...
I believe Tyomkin would be more receptive to 'Black Hat' than her reprogrammed bot for sure, yet may still be a little skeptical about the reprogramming itself, since it didn't seem to completely succeed. He'd be worried that SKANDENBURG would be prone to inefficiency and perhaps even turn on it's new comrades.

Perhaps I could create it so that Tyomkin would, in general be wary of technology. I feel like that'd make some sense actually.

EDIT ::

I'm somewhat tempted to create a second character for this, got an idea in my head already (Though it'll take some convincing for me to spoil any plans, if anyone's wondering) that could be quite interesting...
Tell me if you'd all be interested in seeing another character from me, yeah?

Whoops, forgot to respond. I think it’s more than reasonable for Tyomkin to not trust technology, the Archon whose forces he dealt with is the tech one after all. And yeah if you have an idea that you think is good I say toss it in!
