To go from the largest on down, we start off with the Imperium of Man, led by Viktor Nemtsov. They can be described as a Christian, Germanic, militaristic, & autocratic society which has successfully banded many of the disparate tribes of central Europe together in a long string of settlements along the Danube, stretching from Serbia up to Denmark!

Secondly is the "Chinese Empire", led by one Aaron Dawson. It is a highly bureaucratic, centralized, harsh, and cruel state which demands absolute obedience and sacrifice for her state building project. They harshly punish their enemies big or small, and will raise massive numbers of conscripts to throw at their problems. This being said, their size may not be all that it seems, (as much of her control over territories which is claimed is far less in reality).

The next largest in relative terms is the Sumerian kingdom, led once by the mysterious slave turned vizier Luther. They were a centralized and chaotic monarchy which established itself as controler of all the city-states of mesopotamia and even into Syria and turkey by way of large displays of wealth and resources. However, they were constantly beset by a chaos of civil war and neglect - massive catastrophies and plague left the region it a husk of its former self.

After that is the Nestos League - led by one eccentric Victor Speer. a Bulgarian and Macedonian based trading empire which projects itself through peculiar and quazi-religious orders of roaming scholars, who travel in search of knowledge and opportunities both diplomatic and mercantile.

Then you have Aksum, a despotic monarchy held firm by a strong royal army led by Andrew Marks. While officially worshipping its indigenous folk religion, Andrew has shaped the country to be far more Christian, and far stronger, than it had ever been before. They model themselves often after Rome - taking on its aesthetics and some of her policies, such as the settling of veterans in the lands of conquered peoples, and the mass taking of slaves.

Next I would put the Hejazi confederacy (me), led by the mystic Olifia and her warrior wife Alya. Hejaz is a strong tribal confederation and republic, with a working agreement made between the more populous seaside settlements, which specialize in trade and maritime economics, and the far more sparse and pastoral interior tribes. Despite this, most of the economic activity and political influence is centered in one settlement, the largest by far, Yanbu. They are proudly pagan and have a militaristic bent - taking up piracy and fighting amongst themselves for their ideals, such as a hatred of slavery or foreign influence.

I don't know too much on the others to take too much detail to count - but Hibernia is a scholarly-focused kingdom in Ireland and some of Great Britain, with a strong love of gold and trade with the Imperium.

Icedonia was once a harshly chauvinistic and spartan society in England, but which met its match against the Imperium. A massive defeat caused their society to become what might be compared of a failed state, with her author nowhere to be seen.

In japan, a monastic and Buddhist society of Lesbian nuns and tribal queens exist - though that was many years ago, and I am sure much has changed.

In Burma, the small kingdom nurtured by Holly long is forming, with a blend of Buddhism and Animism and with the goals of a Mandala-system forming around her city.

And there's several more, but thats enough for now. We have a big cast of characters, and many who recon they're the perfect autocrat! Ooo possible locations yea. But I most probably don't want to be THAT close to any civ yet. I believe Aksum would literally be my next door neighbor and that would be scary for a naked newborn like me

Yeah that would be a bit of a problem, however the Somali climate would give you a bit of a shield from the Aksumite armies, if you utilize it well. Hormus meanwhile is pretty much around dead husks, Sumer is weak, embroiled in battle, so is the state in India, and Elam is most likely weakened by the loss of three trading partners that had a bit of a golden circle going on in the Persian Sea. The only author led civ in the region is mine, which is still in its infancy after destroying the Dilmun civilization.

Adding on, there is also the Single Market, Northwest Company, and Hudson’s Bay Company. The Single market is a free trade and free movement agreement area around the Black Sea with organized associations carrying out trade with grain backed currency. It has a defence pact and leadership made up from members elected by the tribes of the member areas. It has close relationships with Nestos, uneasy relationships with the Northwest and Hudsons Bay corporations, and I’m guessing difficult relations with the imperium.

A minor fleshing out is good for the soul. You're going to have to spin entire nations, dozens of characters and cities, and far more - out of thin air and creativity alone. Writing practice on the character you're going to RP is just a warmup!
