The relationship between Zygerria and the Republic is tumultuous and quite strained; given the nature of slavery in Zygerrian society and its status within the Republic. It is also immensely unlikely that a head of state, a monarch in particular, would leave their homeworld and power to manage affairs in the Galactic Senate. It is far more likely that a Zygerrian monarch would delegate the role to a loyal pawn rather than deal with Galactic bureaucracy themselves.

In its current state, the app is unfortunately going to be rejected.

Interesting concept. I note however that you mention being trained under Yoda; but Yoda himself didn't exist in this story. Otherwise it looks good.

Unfortunately the application doesn't make much sense to me. Ideally, it would be a lot more in depth in dealing with the establishment of Wren as a Senator. And in my opinion whilst it would make sense to appease the Traditionalists on Mandalore, Duchess Satine sending someone antithetical to her own ideals to the Galactic Senate seems like a foolish move.

Sith
Name: Asana Rendor (Darth Pretiosa)
Race: Human
Appearance:
Image

Rule of Two: Apprenticek
Grand Plan: Darth Banes Grand Plan means little to Asana in and of its self. However to her Father it means everything and so it does to her, if her father says that the Grand Plan is the most important thing in the galaxy, then nothing can or will ever persuade her otherwise.
Philosophy: Asana is a Sith Warrior who is very skilled in the combative forms of the Sith Arts. She strives to be the perfect soldier for her commander and father.
Public Persona: Asana is the war orphan turned adopted daughter of Mecko Rendor. She keeps the Persona up by the mere fact of it being true, she sees Mecko as her father and loves him dearly. Though close observors might realize that this love runs deeper into the realm of devotion, they would normally put it off to her father being a hero figure in her teenage life.
Lightsaber: A red single bladed saber of a simple and unornated design. Asana herself is quite proficient in Dun Moch as taught by her father, but she has also been attempting to teach herself Juyo, with minimal success.
Force Proficiencies: Force Lightning, Force Choke, Force Jump, Force Push, Force Corrupt
Backstory and personal history: Born 960 RE to parents she can't remember the name of on a war torn planet that only her Father would know the name of, Asanas early life was on filled with strife. From the fragments she can remember, her parents and siblings were killed when a ship crashed into their home and left her as a four year old orphan. The next four years of her life would be filled with brutality, cold nights, and war as two syndicates seemingly fought to destroy everything in sight. The only shining light during that time was the fact that she naturally found her affinity with the force while fighting to survive. A strong natural talent helped her in many ways, stealing credits, food, and even helping her to be near the top of the ranks of Urchins.

This all ended around her eighth birthday when while hiding from an artillery barrage a hand reached out to her, Father. Mecko Rendor had come to find her, the young Orpan Twi'leks life was about to take a turn for the better. Mecko adopted Asana and over a period of almost eight years turned her into his apprentice, endowing her with the name Darth Pretiosa. Mecko was the family that Asana never had the chance of having and she clings to him. She loves Mecko with every ounce of emotion that she can wring out of herself, she has devoted herself to learning what her father has to teach her and her greatest fear is to fail him.

She has completed several smaller scaled missions for her father, from assassinations to sabotage and she has done them perfectly. Anything less would be failure in her fathers eyes she is sure. Currently she has no thought of trying to take over her father, the thought of even killing her father not even plausible. Because of this the relationship between Master and Apprentice is in actuality one between Father and Daughter, something many would call a breaking of the rule of two, but not in Asanas eyes. Her father is the one with power and she does still strive for power, but not purely for herself.
Entourage/Retinue:
Samwell Urian - A personal friend of Asanas and the son of the Urian Trading Corps, one allowed by her Father perhaps in hopes that she would swing them to their cause. Something which she has done quite well.
Tyvor Greio - Asanas "Bodyguard" assigned to her by her father due to the more recent violence. He is in actuality a devout follower of herself and her father who is there to do any of the lesser dirty work she has no time for.

Senator
Name: Adalo Tyran
Race: Zygerrian
Appearance: He wears muted turquoise robes outfitted with pieces of traditional Zygerrian armor, including a chestplate and bracers. His features are like that of a lynx, with pointed ears, muted brown fur, and large eyes. He's taller than average with an athletic build. He doesn't wear any jewelry or ornate ornamentation.
Representative: The Kingdom of Zygerria (formerly the Zygerrian Empire)
Ideology: Unaligned (Corporatist/Rim Faction Leaning)
Galactic Faction: Neither
Backstory and personal history:
Born into a family of lesser nobles, Adalo was raised in the ever-constant presence of Zygerria's greatest; he had a lot to live up to. He was a skilled athlete, an adept fighter, and an even more avid scholar. Above all, he thoroughly embraced his culture's ideals of valuing strength and honor, as well as maintaining the natural order. As the greatest of civilizations, it was their moral obligation to serve their station and rule above lesser beings who didn't embrace their culture.

Of course, the galaxy was in conflict with his views. Once a powerful force on the Galactic stage, the Zygerrian Empire was crushed by the Republic, who sent Jedi to dismantle Zygerrian holdings and chase them back to their homeworld. Out of dozens of Zygerrian-controlled worlds, only a handful of them remained under the former Empire's control. While the fighting may have ceased centuries prior, the Zygerrians haven't forgotten the toll it took on their civilization. Adalo certainly didn't.

The galaxy is becoming increasingly restless as the Republic reaches its twilight years and struggles to breathe under the weight of bureacratic corruption. Back on Zygerria, things aren't much better, as tensions continue to grow between Zygerrian traditionalists and opportunistic slavers with little regard for cultural integrity. While the Zygerrian Trading Guild has made the kingdom wealthier in some respects, it has come at a cost.

The history between Zygerria and the Republic has been a tumultous one, to say the least. But in such unprecedented times, an opportunity for advancement cannot be overlooked. King Omerran appointed Adalo as the Kingdom's senator for his sharp political mind and his unwavering loyalty. For the sake of his people, he must set aside his animosity and preconcieved notions if he wants to bring about a better age and outlast the crumbling Republic. With any luck, he can finally restore the Zygerrian Empire to its former glory and rid it of its festering corruption...
Entourage/Retinue:
Viraac Kaf'lam: Adalo's personal bodyguard and lifelong friend. Descended from a line of militaristic nobles, he was essentially trained from birth in the art of combat. He was practically raised alongside Adalo, and he considers him to be his brother. His adherence to Zygerrian culture and tradition is even stronger than Adalo's. While he thinks very little of the Republic and the Senate, he's still dedicated to what he percieves as his sole purpose.

Almost seven feet tall and built like a tank, Viraac is a force to be reckoned with. He has ghostly white fur with black markings around his eyes and nose. His facial features are reminiscent of a lion, complete with a psuedo-"mane". He wears traditional Zygerrian armor (except for a helmet), painted black with gold markings. (If weapons are allowed in the Senate, he carries a two-sided Zygerrian variant of an electrostaff).

Lord Secaam Nimos: An older, amicable nobleman and prominent member of the Zygerrian Trading Guild. He was sent by the Guild to serve as an advisor to Senator Adalo, as well as to scout for potential corporate allies and business partners. He's the head of House Nimos, a prominent noble family in Zygerria. As a Lord, he owns a sizeable amount of land and other assets.

He wears elaborate maroon robes with gold geometric patterns embroidered into them. He wears lots of gold jewelry, including multiple rings. His fur is ash-colored, with notable greying around the chin. He has a polite, jovial disposition and kind eyes that almost make you forget he's not a good person. While accustomed to nearly all luxuries, he has an even greater affinity for fine wine.

I made a new app! I'll be honest, I'm a lot happier with how this one turned out. If there's anything I should fix, let me know :)

Jedi
Name: Rhys Aatahl
Race: Miraluka
Appearance:
A lighter-skinned humanlike figure of average height and a lanky build, with an almost perpetually solemn look on his face. The distinctive white-grey hair of his species is of medium length and often unkempt, and he dons a modest blindfold of cloth to cover his vestigial eye sockets, or a headdress under more ceremonial occasions. He typically dresses in well-maintained Consular robes.

Rank: Knight (Jedi Sage)

Personality:
Though he comes off as a quiet and brooding person, Rhys exhibits a sort of blind compassion in his actions. Whether it is due to the peaceful temperament of his people, his adherence to the Code, a certain childlike innocence that never seemed to go away - or a combination of the three - Rhys shows an almost selfless drive to uplift and care for those around him. He cannot stand the suffering of others, to such extents that he often finds himself unable to fight in a manner not in defense of himself or his allies. And though his training as a Jedi has yet attempted to dampen these thoughts, his growing ability to use the Force to empathize with others' emotions has only heightened his compassion for others. In recent years, this has come to be a double-edged sword. As his non-confrontational nature has made him a selfless mediator and caretaker, so too has it made him an almost cowardly warrior in the face of grave danger - an attitude that could easily endanger the lives of not only himself, but of those around him. Nevertheless, he knows full well that he must trust in his training to achieve balance within himself, and often finds solace outside of Knightly duties and martial training with more scholarly pursuits.

Ideology:
Rhys is a Councilist to the core, trusting wholeheartedly in the Jedi Code and believing that any wanton deviation from its tenets is a one-way road down the all-corrupting path to the Dark Side. This is not to say he is like a sheep, however. In fact, his drive to help those in need typically comes from the goodness of his heart, rather than his mere adherence to the Code and the will of the Jedi Council. And though he regards violence with disdain and believes the more interventionist Altisians and Vane supporters to be dangerously militant, so too does he know that drastic action is often necessary if the Jedi Order wishes to keep the peace. He is of the mindset that the traditions of old have held strong over the millennia for a reason, and believes that it is the duty of a Jedi, both blessed and cursed with the immense power they wield, to put their own desires and emotions aside and use their talents for the betterment of the Republic and the greater Galaxy.

Lightsaber:
A single-bladed green lightsaber. He is a primary practitioner of Form III: Soresu, finding the style to compliment his defensive nature. Owing to his talents for wielding the Force, he has recently begun the arduous process of grasping Form VI: Niman - a form often said to take well over a decade to master. Overall, however, his offensive skills are still sorely lacking.

Force Proficiencies:
Like most Jedi of his species, Rhys boasts an almost masterful grasp of the Force Sight he's had since birth, which in turn boosts his precognitive senses and reflexes by a considerable degree. In addition, his training as a Jedi has seen him rely more upon Force-based abilities overall - partially out of compensation for his lack of skill with a lightsaber, but also because of his extensive study of and overall interest in the Force's many applications, both on and off the battlefield. He has taken a liking to telepathy and mind tricks, preferring them to settling disputes with violence, and in recent years as an aspiring Sage, he has since begun to specialize in the art of Force Healing. His recent time in the Archives has even led him to dabble in more eccentric abilities, such as Crucitorn and Astrogation.

Backstory and personal history:
While nearly all Miraluka are born with some form of innate force-sensitivity, not all were worthy to be raised in the ways of the Jedi. It was this reason that a relatively unknown family on the world of Alpheridies saw it as a blessing to offer their young son to their Jedi protectors. Even before the boy Rhys was whisked away to begin his training, he could sense the energy around him; hear, and in some cases, even understand the voices that came to him that none other could. Everything, from the happiness and joy of his childhood friends, to the sorrow of those mourning the death of a loved one - memories, good and ill, would flash by his mind. It was a gift, he was told. And it was a gift he could use for the betterment of the entire galaxy. Following a short preliminary period at the Culu Memorial Center, Rhys was soon transferred to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant under the tutelage of a fellow Miralukan Jedi Master, Esula Yan.

When the boy first began his training on Coruscant, the brooding youngling was quickly found to have a sharp wit and exceptional intellect. It was these mental faculties and his strong connection to the Force that caught the eye of some of the Order's more experienced Consulars. He took a particular liking to history, and spent much of his free time within the temple's extensive libraries and archives. However, as he aged, some of the Masters remarked that the boy was scholarly to a fault. What talents he possessed in the academic and telepathic arts, he lacked in martial skill and courage. Despite his inherent Force Sight making defending himself a trivial task against even some more skilled opponents, the battlemasters would often chastise him in duels for being unable to willingly attack, and leading to many of his fellow padawans ridiculing him as a coward. These events often left the timid padawan conflicted, and it grew exceedingly clear that if he were to undergo his trials, he would fail spectacularly. Some of the more militaristic Jedi Masters suggested that the Council simply sentence him to the Service Corps, deeming the boy a liability on any field of battle. However, in an occasion that surprised not only the more senior Jedi Masters, but also the young padawan in question, Master Yan intervened against such a decision. Her case rested upon the potential she saw within the boy, and she requested that the Council simply allow her more time to prepare the aspiring padawan for knighthood. Thankfully, this request was granted by a slim margin.

While Master Yan believed this balance between intellect and might would be achieved in time, she likewise made sure that her apprentice's talents did not go to waste. Within a short few years, Rhys' interests shifted gradually to the art of healing. Grave injury was commonplace among Jedi sent out on dangerous missions around the galaxy, and as such, the Sages were always prepared to care for any that may be confined to the Halls of Healing. Under the instruction of Master Yan directly, as well as her fellow Jedi in the Medical Corps, the padawan quickly found a calling in the art of mending not only the wounds of the body, but also those of the mind. These newfound abilities, as well as his effort to slowly hone his martial skill, would eventually reward him with the time outside he probably needed.

As the political situation around the Galactic Republic grew ever more out of the Senate's and the Council's control, the ensuing unrest on multiple worlds has led to many Jedi being sent as both mediators for disgruntled political figures and revolts, and caretakers for refugees. Though it was no grand adventure out into the open galaxy, his and Master Yan's expeditions across Coruscant allowed the sheltered padawan ample opportunities to learn of the world outside of the Temple, and steadily begin the process of creeping out of his introverted shell. Within a year, these newfound experiences and his compassionate nature led the previously timid Miraluka to distinguish himself as not just a skilled healer, but also a diplomat, even going so far as to selflessly throw himself between a Senator and his would-be assassins without a second thought - a deed that would later lead to his padawan braid being severed, deeming him a full-fledged Jedi Knight.

But over the following days back at the Jedi Temple, as the newly-inducted Knight returns to his scholarly pursuits and practice duels, the atmosphere only continues to grow more tense...

Entourage/Retinue:
  • Kedoa Nissah: A fellow Jedi Knight a few years his senior. On the order of their masters - and to the chagrin of them both - they have recently been assigned to accompany one another on their assignments. This plan was orchestrated on the grounds that the two may learn from one another and eventually balance out the qualities each of them lacked. Their relationship, despite being allies, is incredibly tense, as both seem to be complete polar opposites of one another. But despite these differences, the two have since "forced themselves" to tolerate each other, if only for the purpose of completing whatever missions they find themselves tasked with.
  • 14-3DVO 'Vio': A military-grade 3DVO model cam/probe droid previously owned by Rhys' master, its primary functions being reconnaissance, data collection, and long range communication. It has undergone extensive modification over the years by both himself and Master Yan, including the removal of its defensive weaponry to make room for more advanced communications arrays and backup recorders without sacrificing mobility or memory. Like most droids of its make and model, Vio is highly intelligent, sporting a masculine-programmed AI capable of thinking and acting independently of his owners. For reasons unknown to them, however, he has since developed an unusually cowardly personality.
Other Relations:
  • Master Esula Yan: Rhys' master; an elder Miraluka who currently serves as a senior Jedi within the Medical Corps and the Circle of Jedi Healers. She is patient, kind-hearted, and regarded by many as a wise and magnanimous Jedi. Like many of the more traditionalist Jedi Masters, however, Yan is an outspoken pacifist, shunning violence and abhorring war in equal measure. Her relationship with Rhys is a close one, having raised him since before he even arrived on Coruscant as a youngling. She is practically a mother to him in everything but name.

Jedi
Name: Kedoa Nissah
Race: Zabrak
Appearance:
A red-skinned Zabrak woman, roughly somewhere in her early to mid twenties, with an impetuous gaze in her sharp crimson eyes. In typical Zabrak fashion, a jagged assortment of black tattoos cover her body and face, and a ring of stubby horns protrude from her head of jet black hair, which is often tied up in a single long braid. She is quite tall and of an athletic build, and carries herself like that of a warrior, shunning the flowing robes worn by most of her fellow Jedi and preferring the combat-ready dress of a tunic adorned with armor.

Rank: Knight (Jedi Shadow)

Personality:
Overall, Kedoa has inherited much of her personality from her master: Callous, impatient, and blunt. Under pressure, however, Kedoa comes off as incredibly focused and exhibits an almost desperate strive for perfection. She is sarcastic and sometimes downright rude to those she deems not worth her time, but nonetheless seems to have a genuine underlying care for those around her, even if she doesn't show it. Much of this overly caustic attitude is the result of both her rigorous and often miserable upbringing beneath her incredibly strict mentor, and her origins as little more than an illiterate street urchin, thereby leading to her feeling grossly overshadowed by the other Jedi of her age group. This seemingly "competitive" environment to her, coupled with her own ambitions, has led to her developing a severe inferiority complex towards her more experienced peers, though this has since been balanced by a strong work ethic since her Knighting.

Ideology:
Though Kedoa has believed in the Council's ability to make the right decisions, recent years have led to her becoming increasingly doubtful of their capacity to keep the peace in the Republic. As such, she has begun to drift ever more towards her fellow Jedi that feel that the Council has grown far too complacent, advocating for a stronger Jedi presence in the galaxy. These opinions, however, are hardly as radical as those of Vane or the Altisians, and merely stem from her belief that peace must be maintained, rather than the ideas of the Living Force Movement. But regardless, her association with such Jedi, as well as her own impulsive and often emotional tendencies, has landed her in hot water with some of the more traditionally minded Jedi within the Order.

Lightsaber:
A saberstaff with dual blue blades. Under the rigorous tutelage of her Master, Kedoa is familiar with multiple styles of lightsaber combat, and is skilled primarily in both Form II: Makashi and Form VII: Juyo/Vaapad. Though owing to her aggressiveness and emotional nature, she holds a strong preference of the latter.

Force Proficiencies:
While hardly a master of wielding the Force, Kedoa is still familiar with the standard abilities that are known to your average Jedi Knight. In recent years, however, she has grown to specialize primarily on the abilities that augment and enhance her combat prowess, such as Force Speed and Agility.

Backstory and personal history:
To describe the young Kedoa Nissah's upbringing as an austere one would be an understatement. Even before being taken by the Jedi Order, the girl that would eventually grow into a fiery youngling was brought up a slave laboring in the vast underbelly of Nar Shaddaa, serving a Hutt that she didn't even know the name of. Separated from her biological parents as an infant, her only "guardians" were slaves much like herself, and the beatings for disobedience were all that taught her to do as she was told. All in all, she would easily have lived a short, insignificant life until being killed for disobedience or worked to death were it not for the intervention of a certain Jedi Master - a Togruta by the name of Toran Kin. It was on this Jedi's diplomatic mission that he crossed paths with the child - a pitiable thing, as skilled in being a servant as she was speaking a lick of Galactic Basic. But feeling the pull of the Force within her, and seeing the clear suffering in the girl's eyes, seemed to force the Master's hand. In an action that went almost unnoticed by her fellow servants, Kin whisked the child away beneath his cloak, carrying her straight back to Coruscant.

During her early years at the Jedi Temple, Kedoa's possibly traumatizing upbringing on Nar Shaddaa quickly became a problem. While other younglings were taught the nature of the Force, she still had yet to read, write, and speak properly. This set her behind most of the children her age, which soon led to her being a target of ridicule for her past as little more than a slave. But over the years, what she lacked in intellect was made up for by strength of will. Under Master Kin's rigorous teachings, she eventually grew to distinguish herself as a skilled fighter, capable of holding her own against padawans quite a few years older than her. And as her grasp of the Force grew stronger, so too did her zealous adherence to the Jedi Code. But even after shedding her padawan mantle, some of the Masters saw flaws in the passionate young Knight that Kin could not.

The problem, to many, lie with Master Kin and his teachings themselves. Kin, though an avid practitioner of the Light Side, was a militaristic Jedi. He was no-nonsense, stubborn, blunt, and often said to have a problematic ego - and some feared that these qualities had already begun to rub off on his fiery apprentice. Given the political climate and the recent disagreements between some of the hard-line traditionalists and those advocating for a more active Jedi Order in the Galaxy, these types of occurrences were not uncommon. Though now, with the untimely death of Corde Vane, the seeds have been sown for an even greater conflict. But the effects such events will have on the younger Jedi have yet to be seen...

Entourage/Retinue:
  • Rhys Aatahl: (See above)
Other Relations:
  • Master Toran Kin: Kedoa's master; a Togruta serving as one of the Jedi Order's battlemasters. Having been one of Master Dooku's earlier apprentices, Kin is an expert duelist. He is well-versed in several forms of lightsaber combat, and an indisputable master of Makashi, Djem So, and Juyo - including its relatively new variant of Vaapad. He is known to be incredibly strict, and is iron-fisted in his manner of training. This attitude towards his fellow Jedi extends even to his apprentice. In fact, in Kedoa's case, Kin has pushed her harder than any of his pupils to become a warrior that may one day rival himself.

Senator
Name: Sanya Tagge, Baroness Tagge
Image

Race: Human, Tepasi
Appearance: She is tall, demonstrating the strikingly lithe frame which has become the common silhouette for her family. Her signature ginger hair frames a face unweathered by time nor toil.
Representative: Tepasi - Tagge Company
Ideology: Corporatist
Galactic Faction: Core Worlds
Backstory and personal history: Sanya Tagge was born into the wealthy House of Tagge, a family of nobles whose corporate interests are centered on the Founding World of Tepasi. The Tagge family began its rise to fortune in much the same way as many others during the long evolution of the Republic: criminality. The Tagges were not a thing for years, just another bloodline of common adventurers tracing ancestry to one of the Republic's Founders, attempting to make their way in a galaxy beset with the twin horrors of religious fanaticalism and bureacratic administration. When the world of Tepasi was laid waste by unusually destructive earthquakes, Tarzen Tagge provided the much needed relief to the locals through his small complement of ships. In this manner, a man who was once faceless in a crowd overnight established himself as a local hero. His newfound reputation was what permitted Tarzen, a criminal lord, to establish the Tagge Company on a jewel of the Republic. This company was created initially for the singular purpose of acting as a cover for his illegal activities, the petty acts of smuggling for which untold billions have pursued with heady dreams of mythical fortune. However, as with all creations that can generate jobs and ensure wealth flows upwards, the modest Tagge company has grown over the centuries into one of the Republic's largest corporations, extending throughout the galaxy via its numerous subsidaries to reach the households of near every citizen. And with wealth came prestige, with Tarzen's descendants now hereditary nobility on the planet which made their first ancestors famous.

For Sanya, this prestige has served only to grow her ambitions. What is a fairly unique position to be in for one who plays the politics of civilisations, the expansion of her ambitions lies not just in the singular advancement of her corporation, nor that of securing the future prosperity of her family, but in a triumvirate of growing interests which extends also to that of the people of Tepasi itself, that Founding World of the Republic upon which the Tagge future rest. That is to say, Sanya has been raised since childhood not just to inherit her father's business interests, but also the family's noblesse oblige to the population at large of her homeworld. This has marked her out as an oddity among the Galactic Senate, for many who speak on behalf of Corporations either find themselves among their employment roster, or are simply accepting of bribes to the detriment of their own homes. But for a Tagge, corporation and homeworld are very much one and the same, two competing needs which coalese into the core soul of what it is that drives the business women into further and further political gambits.

This political drive is what saw her wed the scion of one of her world's newest rising powers: Joda Falaeon. A blatant power play by the young corporate head, her very public wedding to the military figure won her few friends among the circles of Tepasi elite who can only watch with petty envy as the House of Tagge was able to win with marriage what they had for years been unable to achieve with fortune: candidacy for the position of senator for the system. With Joda's familial connections within the planet's military structure, it became a foregone conclusion that when her predecessor's term limit was reached, that Sanya would be going to Corscucant as his replacement. And yet for many of her open opponents what seems to anger them more than her nepotistic appointment to galactic government, is that her marriage presents as exceedingly strong, the couple already welcoming their fifth child together when news of the death of a prominent Jedi reached Sanya's ears.
Entourage/Retinue:

- Tarla Bille, Duros male, legal aid
- Kenth Syko, Tepasi male, head of security
- Rhoro Tillo, Tepasi male, chief of staff
- Gavor Victo, Tepasi male, Tepasi liason

Both apps accepted. To note Nissah's usage of Juyo might be fairly incomplete, given there was a fear Jedi may skirt too close to the Dark Side using it. It'd be likely she'd mix it with the Vapaad variation which was created by Vane.

Jedi
Name: Vana Tomar
Race: Togrutan
Appearance:
Image

Rank: Jedi Consular- Jedi Master - Member of the High Council
Ideology: Silver Jedi Councilist - Master Tomar is dedicated to the orthodox teachings of the Jedi Order, teachings which she has been immersed in almost since her very birth. She views those that stray from these orthodox beliefs as deeply misguided at best, or dangerously subversive at worst. She is especially concerned by the recent movement towards the concept of the Living Force prominent among followers of Corde Vane. She is a preeminent enemy of the Dark Side in all of its forms, and is noted for the fervour with which she believes the Jedi Order should pursue and eliminate any Dark Jedi or the Sith that they seek to emulate.
Lightsaber: Master Tomar wields a single bladed green lightsaber with an Ilum Crystal and has dedicated her life to the study of Form VI: Niman. While not as demanding or rigorous as other forms, Niman's fluid bladwork and focus on integrated force abilities has served the Togrutan well, to the point where she is considered to be one of the few Jedi to have been able to elevate it above its "Jack-of-all-trades" reputation. in combat, Tomar is a defensive duellist, focusing on graceful parries and elegant dodges that make the most of her exceptional speed and lithe physique. She commonly incorporates telekinetic waves, and other such force abilities as her primary offensive tool, but is not afraid to lash out in a flurry of lightsaber strikes if need be.
Force Proficiencies: Apart from her skills with a blade, Master Tomar is also well regarded for her proficiency with several aspects of the Force. As a master, she has the classic abilities of telekinesis and telepathy, both of which she has practiced to a high level of prowess. She also has limited knowledge of Force Healing and Psychometry. Her primary gifts however lie in the realm of Foresight. A renowned Seer, Master Tomar has long been tormented by Force Visions and is highly regarded for both her wisdom and her ability to interpret and provide insight into future, or past, events. This manifests itself in her own personal combat as well - her ability to predict an opponent's movements or stratagems is an asset both on the battlefield as well as in the duelling arena.
Backstory and personal history: Born on Shili in 65 BBY, Vana Tomar's childhood was about as stereotypical as any Jedi's - she was taken from her family in her infancy and was raised without knowledge of her homeworld or relatives for most of her life. As a member of the Thranta Clan of Jedi initiates, Tomar was almost immediately noticed by her contemporaries for the debilitating Force Visions that tormented her for much of her childhood. These commonly took the form of nightmares or, more rarely periodic episodes during her time awake. These latter events would see the young Togrutan roil with pain, lashing out with waves of telekinesis in an uncontrollable maelstrom of raw power. The fear and apprehension shown to Tomar by her classmates enhanced her already natural preference for isolation, a trait which was not prevalent among the communal Togrutan people. Due to her difficulties, she was passed over by several possible Masters and many within the Order felt that she may have to go into special care for her powers - efforts by preeminent Jedi, even among the Circle of Healers, failed to rid her of her demons.

At the age of 11, just prior to her birthday, at which point she would have to enter the Service Corps, Tomar caught the eye of Ullah Far, a Male Zabrak Jedi Master who was a renowned Jedi Seer. Master Far took Tomar as his padawan after a brief session wherein the elder Jedi sensed just how prodigal Tomar's gifts were. Over the course of the next five years, Tomar and her Master rarely left the Temple - their training sessions focused primarily on honing the young girls mental strength, building telepathic blocks around her minds eye that would shield her from the worst of her affliction. They trained daily in the Room of a Thousand Fountains, commonly spending the entire day in silent contemplation, meditation, and telepathic communion. This unusual training regimen began to bear fruit as Tomar entered her teen years - by the age of 16, she had only occasional lapses in mental control and her ability to see into the future with clarity was rivaling even long time Jedi Seers. At this time, Ullah Far realized it was time to journey from the Temple. They had immersed themselves in the Force, in philosophy and in the power of the Jedi, but his Padawan lacked the practical experience that many her age had already accumulated in spades. This latter half of her training was almost as challenging has the first had been for the young Jedi Padawan. Tomar's inexperience with her lightsaber caused her to lose a duel with a Twi'Lek mercenary on her first mission to Malestare, while her ignorance of foreign cultures and traditions proved fodder for manipulation and misunderstandings.

As Tomar aged however, she gained a better understanding of the universe, and of herself. She realized she was never going to be a master of lightsaber combat - she was never going to win the sparring tournaments held so important by her peers at the temple - so she dedicated herself to her master's Form Vi: Niman, a form that allowed her to use her prodigious connection to the Force to its fullest extent. After years of training, she eventually became one of the few Jedi to master the form entirely.

At the age of 23, Tomar was ready to undertake the Jedi Trials, which she passed with flying colours. Already well known due to her unusually attuned Foresight, Tomar became a preeminent Jedi Seer and took her place among that sect of the Order alongside her Master. Over the course of her Knighthood, Tomar undertook many diplomatic missions, and gained a series of contacts around the Galaxy as a result. She was also assigned to various conflict zones, areas where her precognition and strategic thinking allowed the Republic to anticipate events before they occurred and tailor their response to these events in advance. The success of these missions led her to consider her place as a Seer - she had little interest in teaching, yet to pursue her own station within the Order, she must pass along what she knew to the next generation. Therefore, at the urging of her former Master, she took on the young Kel Dor Youngling, Arben Peth, as her own apprentice. Peth was himself showing some signs of precognitive ability, beyond the usual levels of average Jedi. However, he was hardly a prodigal student as Tomar had been in her youth, something that proved a disappointment to his Master. Her training methods were strict and rooted deeply in the time honoured traditions of orthodoxy and rigorous discipline that had caused her to gain control over herself as a student. This training however resulted in a distant relationship, while Peth and Tomar respected each other, there was no warmth or friendliness in their dealings, unlike between Ullah Far and Tomar herself. Arben Peth passed the Jedi Trials himself when Tomar was some 32 years of age, upon which she was elevated to Master. Peth and Tomar did not remain in contact after his ascension to Knighthood.

Now a Master, Tomar became far more involved with the internal politics of the Order. In 32 BBY, art the age of 33, she was granted a place on the Council of Reconciliation, and was therefore at the forefront of the Naboo Crisis, an event that deeply weakened the Republic and precipitated the rise of the militarist Chancellor Bel Zaan. Tomar deeply disliked Zaan's desire to lessen the influence of the Jedi - the assault on the Order's principle position as Galactic Peacekeepers and the enforcement arm of the Republic threatened the very role that the Jedi played in the universe. This political uncertainty was combined with the rising tide of subversive philosophy among the ranks of the Jedi, spearheaded by Corde Vane. The ideological foundation of the Jedi was being besieged from both without and within, a situation which has since caused immense apprehension on the part of the preeminent Jedi Seer. Tomar, wary of any threat to the Orthodox teachings that had saved her very sanity, became a leading figure for the preservation of traditional learning and the restriction of Vane's movement.

At this moment of challenge, Tomar's life was also profoundly impacted by two events. Just a few months prior to the reelection of Bel Zaan, the Jedi High Council had offered the Togrutan a place on their august body. The honour was too great to refuse - she took her place among the greatest Jedi of her age, a success that few would have expected knowing the Togrutan in her youth. On the Council, Tomar was renowned for her wisdom, her dry wit, and her ability to see and interpret time in a manner beyond many of her peers. Ullah Far, however, never saw his student each this pinnacle of achievement. While on assignment near Dathomir, he was captured, tortured, and then killed by the Nightsisters that called the planet home. This event weighed on Tomar heavily, and the mental blocks that barred her dangerous precognitive outbursts have since grown ever weaker. With the news that Corde Vane has been slain, and with the Assassination attempt on Bel Zaan having failed, Tomar has thrown herself into her work of preserving the Jedi Order and defending the Light from anything or anyone who might seek to propagate the Dark Side.
Entourage/Retinue:
R3-Z9, affectionately known as "Rezzy," is a particularly old and venerable model of Astromech that once belonged to Tomar's Master prior to his death. Rezzy attends to his Mistress at almost all times, save for when she is in the Jedi Temple, and holds her personal records and databank within his memory core.

Jedi
Name: Arben Peth
Race: Kel Dor
Appearance:
Image

Rank: Jedi Sentinel - Jedi Knight
Ideology: Above all, Arben Peth values an open mind. Steeped in the strict orthodoxy of his former Master, Perh dislikes ideological rigidity and sees it as a constricting influence. While he is certainly far more open minded than his Togrutan mentor, he is also suspicious of those with too radical a view of the Force. In short, he is an open minded pragmatist, one whose difficult life has made conviction and philosophic consistency a luxury.
Lightsaber: Peth wields two single bladed lightsabers, both with Adegan Crystal's and both that produce a brilliant yellow blade. Much like his former Mentor, the building blocks of Peth's style are rooted in Form VI:Niman, the traditional form to Jar'Kai fencing. However, chaffing under his master and finding Niman unsatisfactory for the rigorous and hardscrabble life at the edges of the Galaxy, Peth spent his free time and even parts of his Knighthood mastering Form IV:Ataru. In combat, Peth relies upon speed and overwhelming offensive flurries to cut down his opponents. He is noted for his heavy emphasis on acrobatics in combat, as well as his predilection for "street fighting" - the unorthodox tactics honed during his time in the Outer Rim.
Force Proficiencies: Arben Peth was once considered a promising Seer, hence his tutelage under Master Tomar. However, it became apparent that his precognition was merely above average. Despite this, he was still trained heavily in combative application of Force abilities by his Master, a fact that has made his Force pushes, pulls and grips devastatingly effective. As a field agent of the Jedi Order, Peth has also developed unique skills such as a high level of proficiency with Force Cloak and Psychometry. These skills are compounded by his dedication to personal Force enhancement - he has cultivated speed and durability over strength in this regard.
Backstory and personal history: Arben Peth was born to a transient family of refugees fleeing the crime of the Outer Rim. His childhood was largely spent among the spacers and smugglers of the Mid Rim, bouncing from one transport vessel to another. When he was just over three years old, a band of pirates attacked the latest cargo carrier that his family had sought passage on - they slew his family, the crew, and would have likewise killed him had it not been for his mother's swift thinking in hiding him in the non-functional trash compactor. When a Jedi Knight arrived at the derelict transport in response to its distress call, she discovered the young Kel Dor nearly drowned in waste water. Sensing his connection to the Gorce, he was brought to the Temple for evaluation.

While older than most students who entered the Temple, Peth was allowed to train with the Bantha Clan of initiates, and began to show prodigious skill with a lightsaber. However, it was his sporadic Force visions that caught the eye of the preeminent Jedi Seer, Vana Tomar. She took him as her apprentice when Peth was just 8 years old. The Kel Dor chafed under his Masters strictly orthodox tutelage - Tomar immerses the boy in history, philosophy and academia, attempting to hone his mind as well as his body. While Peth's skill with a blade was self evident, he often found himself being taught by the Temple Battlemaster rather than Tomar herself. While the Togrutan was no stranger to combat, and indeed was a skilled combatant in her own right, she frequently prioritised his training as a Seer. In this, Peth began to dislike the strict regimen of training that was at the core of the Orders teachings, while simultaneously denying both Master and Apprentice the warm relationship felt by many partners within the Temple.

Peth's precognitive abilities never developed to the advanced degree his Master had hoped, and when he passed the Jedi Trials, he immediately requested field assignment - he was determined to ensure his years of study were put to good use. Over the course of the next several years, Peth became widely known as a competent Jedi Knight, one who was particularly devoted to bringing justice to lawless regions. He frequently operated in the Outer Rim, where he campaigned against slavery and brought the Republics criminal opponents to justice. Through this period, he honed his skills with the blade, dedicated himself to the mastery of Ataru and eventually adding a second blade to his arsenal after having been nearly bested by a rogue Mandalorian in single combat.

Given this active and vigorous role in the Outer Rim, Peth rarely returned to the Capital, and when he did it was then only for brief interludes. In his years in the wild and untamed frontier, he swiftly became a pragmatic enforcing of the law and slowly came to realize just how little influence the ostensibly virtuous Republic held beyond it's far flung outposts.

Most recently, having just completed an assignment that saw the elimination of several small spice cartels on Nal Hutta, Arben Peth is planning on returning to the capital for the first time in almost three years.
Entourage/Retinue: Due to his transient nature and focus on the Outer Rim, Arben Peth does not travel with a retinue of allies or companions, rather, he has a collection of contacts in various positions across the frontier regions of the Galaxy. He does have a personal ship, a heavily modified Paladin class corvette named "The Crusader."

So question (if this is still open): Would I be able to do a Jedi who was exiled from the Jedi Council? If not, that's fine. Would it be fine if I had orange lightsabers rather than the usual colors?
DEFCON 5: Total Peace/Normal readiness
DEFCON 4: Increased intel/Strengthened Security/Above Normal
DEFCON 3: Increase in force readiness/Special Forces ready to mobilize
DEFCON 2: War Imminent/Entire Military ready to mobilize
DEFCON 1: Total War/Nuclear War imminent
DEFCON 0: Total Nuclear War

Do you mean:
[*]A Jedi who was quietly, behind the scenes, encouraged to resign their own post on the Council and remain a part of the order? If so, yes.
[*]Someone who was exiled from the Council but not from the Order? If so, probably not.
[*]Someone who was exiled from the Order entirely? Yes, that's fine.

A singular orange lightsaber would be acceptable; but not more than one. The crystals outside of blue and green, and to a lesser extent yellow, are quite rare.

Both fantastic applications. Accepted.

Sivio wrote:So question (if this is still open): Would I be able to do a Jedi who was exiled from the Jedi Council? If not, that's fine. Would it be fine if I had orange lightsabers rather than the usual colors?

Do you mean:
[*]A Jedi who was quietly, behind the scenes, encouraged to resign their own post on the Council and remain a part of the order? If so, yes.
[*]Someone who was exiled from the Council but not from the Order? If so, probably not.
[*]Someone who was exiled from the Order entirely? Yes, that's fine.

A singular orange lightsaber would be acceptable; but not more than one. The crystals outside of blue and green, and to a lesser extent yellow, are quite rare.

Have I been accepted?

No.

Unfortunately, your application is not of an adequate standing. I'd recommend not aiming to rectify it further without a substantial commitment to its length and quality. The commitments between Wren and Satine seem forced, inadequate and frankly quite precarious for her own situation.

If you do intend on continuing to aim at applying for a militaristic Mandalorian, we'd recommend you look into being the senator from other Mandalorian worlds -- such as Concord Dawn.

Senator
Name: Kogliz Mek
Race: Kubaz
Appearance:
Image

Representative: Kubindi
Ideology: Separatist
Galactic Faction: Rim Faction
Backstory and personal history: Kubindi has spent millennia depending on the Republic to allow it access to the rest of the galaxy, and Kogliz puts the blame squarely on the Republic itself. Having been born and raised on the cataclysmically irradiated world of Kubindi, Kogliz took the first opportunity he got to make his way off-world and explore the stars. He marveled at the lush forests tales said once also grew upon Kubindi, sampled local cuisines (native insects), and nearly died of hypothermia visiting the Muun home world of Scipio. Each planet lit Kogliz with excitement and a thirst for adventure, carrying him further across the galaxy in search of new and wondrous sights.

Having gained much knowledge on his journeys, as well as being one of the few Kubaz who was able to learn how to not consider insectoid sentient beings as food, Kogliz quickly found himself being pushed to the Kubindi seat in the Senate. However, all his travels made Kogliz realize that the Republic had all but ensured the Kubaz were trapped on their desolate home world, and with that realization came hate. Hate for the perceived tyranny of the Republic that uplifted some species but unjustly stunted others. Hate for the bureaucracy that all but wiped Kubindi from star charts. Most of all, hate for the people who saw the Kubaz as nothing but pawns in their own self-aggrandizing games.

But this fiery rhetoric against the Republic's authority, coupled with the Kubaz proclivity for espionage and Kogliz's ownership of two IG-86 sentinel droids, has landed him in hot water. After the attempt on Supreme Chancellor Zaan's life, Kogliz has found many eyes on him of late. And while he did know some might simply be confused, Kogliz was sure his enemies in the Senate were eagerly fabricating evidence against him and plotting his downfall. However, with the Senate in a period of instability, Kogliz also sees his chance to break the Republic's grasp on Kubindi and, if he could help it, other systems who found themselves in similar situations. If he played his cards carefully, Kogliz knew he could be the one to put a torch to the Republic's tyranny. He only needed to wait for the right moment...
Entourage/Retinue:
  • Nazo Nubzi: A Kubaz representative of the rival Nubzi Clan. She believes in integration with the Republic through cooperation and conformity. Nazo maintains an almost purely aiding and advisory role, but will not allow Mek Clan to override its rival clans (such as Nubzi) when voting. Personally she is attempting to assimilate into the local culture of Coruscant, but is finding difficulty in doing so.
  • 2A-7R: An RA-7 protocol droid purchased to help aid in translation of non-Basic languages.
  • Two IG-86 sentinel droids for security while outside of the Senate building.

Edit: Changed all mention of "hives" to "clans" because am dumb.
Edit2: Changed to Separatist Ideology and Rim Faction
