I’ll ignore this as a horrible moment of misjudgment. Because for a moment I thought you typed about suddenly, magically, having German equipment. Which, is impossible to occur and would be cheating, which I’m sure would never happen in this RP.

I'm not downplaying your military as Chinese military technology is behind by 1 to 3 generations in several areas vs. Western military technology. The Challenger 2 MBT is certainly a better tank than anything in your inventory.

I have spent nearly two OOC pages discussing with Monsone about the Chinese Soviet Army using Western style infantry weaponry and vehicles like the Leopard 1 tank models. There is no Soviet Union in this timeline so no Sino-Soviet partnership of any kind. Heck, I even talked with the US player about past US arms trade such as the M1 Garand rifles.

I should clarify, that most German military sales to China would have been of small arms (like the HK G3 and MG 3), or in the form of components/technologies China would have been unable to develop domestically within a reasonable time frame (like how to create reliable power steering for tanks, quieter diesel engines for submarines, etc).

This happened IRL to an extent, just in this time line it is happening on a far larger scale. And it's not without precedent since China has been using German weapons since the middle of the 19th century.

As always, you say one thing Monsone, the OP says another. It's hopeless to be nuanced here. Everyone else gets to explore their own country history but I'm still treated like the PRC despite writing my China to be a completely different entity. It's just unfair that I can't have German infantry guns and German inspired tanks while Japan right next door gets to have carriers while Modern Japan in our world has none. I don't like the bullpup design of the Chinese guns and I certainly don't want to use them, but I bloody have to since completely reinventing your army armaments in your nation's history is considered cheating. It was supposed to be trivia that China produces more M1 Garands than the US. It was supposed to be trivia that German and China had the longest arms trade in modern history. But no, I have to play the PRC it seems. If I can't have my MG 3 and my German rifles, how come Japan gets to have carriers especially when it would've caused a naval arms race against the CSR since 1950?

This whole Third Sino Japanese War is a mess. I wasn't given any significant opportunity to coordinate this out. I don't know how long this war is supposed to last and what the outcome is supposed to be because Tenno was allowed to set the standard in which he can invade me at the moment's notice. He literally believed that I was still stuck in 1940 and it took him over 100 OOC pages to finally admit I was in the modern era and everj then, he still refuse to take me seriously.

And now? Tenno and Hanovereich is missing. Tenno has practically abandoned this rp after screwing it up completely for me. I'm now having to play the waiting game for the GA to manage two nations that the CSR is at war with. And suddenly, me have western style weapons is considered cheating despite me having constructive discussion with the Germany and America players over historical relationships? Even though I'm mostly using it against NPC nations. And speaking of cheating, I find it strange that Britain has the logistics and morale to fight a war three oceans away and expect to come out clean.

If we're sticking by what Tenno said that those who have more detailed post have the more right to have success, the speeches I have written: Where are my international supporters? I tried my hardest to discredit the UK and justify my colonialism, is that not detailed enough? Do I have to write a 20 paragraph speech post to get international support, compared to the one or two paragraph response post other players are doing? I should be the one rewarded for my contributions, not punished.

Can I just play the geo politics for once and not worry about a war? For all this talk of not being a war simulator, it's certainly one for me. All thanks to some players who think they can build an empire on China, who is one of the most difficult nations to invade. I enjoy the premise, I enjoy the nation I made but I'm certainly not enjoying what's going on with the rp. I've made posters, I've made superevents, I contributed to the wiki and this is the respect I get? Does anyone here have any idea how long it took me to figure out the coding and photoshop?

I pleaded to get unbanned and I apologized for my actions. I apologized to Strala for degrading him but Tenno didn't apologize to me. He got unbanned just because it was thought to be unfair that I get to return. So nothing really changed. I'm frustrated from the lack of progress and I'm annoyed that I have to win because I would lose all the progress I have made if I lost. No one wants to discuss nation history with each other. It's all about winning as if we exist in a different bubble. No one is really exploring the avenues of these different nations. Britain just wants to preserve the empire. Russia just wants to invade eastern Ukraine. Tenno just wants to rebuild the WW2 Japanese empire in modern day. Whatever happened to having fun and working together? The CSR could've had an interesting relationship with the Russian Tsardom and the UK if discussed, same with India.

So on a final note, I've contemplating on abandoning this since my rp experience has gone arguably worse now that I'm fighting NPCs rather than players which means waiting times for GA posts. I've said everything I wanted to say in the IC, now I'm idle. I've stayed so far because I believe in the spirit of the premise. I enjoyed the discussions with other players about history. I thought it could all work out in the end. So I will still continuing being active to play China

The reason the OP isn't going to suddenly let you have different equipment is because you established those ties with Germany well after your app and letting you go back and change your app or play as if those things were always true would mess up everything else connected to China. And as stated before you've also already been posting as everything else as if you were using irl China equipment. And sure maybe small arms aren't that big of an issue, but German small-arms are also a lot more labor intensive and costly to make, especially in large amounts. So if you suddenly change to using German small-arms, then maybe your war communism buff wouldn't make as much sense.

Also as for complaining about war, you more or less strong-armed the UK into the war, and he's been offering several outs in that same regard, like just above. He said he is willing to withdraw from Hong Kong as long as you let him and let any HK civilian that also wants to leave to do so, and you're literally just saying no. And the Vietnam player before going AFK literally also said he was interested in getting out of the war, and you kept saying no. You're also creating ill-will towards other nations in the UN, such as Russia and India, and then complaining when they return the favor.

If that's the case, then this reboot isn't actually that bad when you think about it. It's just expanding the starting lore for the RP so people have more to work with. You could even throw a curve-ball and have the reboot set a decade into the future.
