I remember last time when I used a point to make prostitution that everyone could have theoretically use it (and it became part of this game as well). Is that how it works this time?

At the prevailing wage of 1.4 nobles for 12 hours of labour, it would take 2 copper knaves per flint worth of labour to extract, plus more for the lost opportunity to use their time in more productive ways. You can simply go scrounge for it yourself if you want it.

The economic management of it all is my favourite part. My plant oil scheme went literally nowhere but the time I spend calculating the cost of materials and labour to determine the appropriate price point for it was time well spent because I loved every minute of it.

Well you'd need four hours to gather the grass and make the fibre, then another 2.5 to find the flint, then an hour to find a bundle of branches, where you'll probably find one branch good enough in the bunch. I don't see a construction time so we'll assume it's quick, which leaves you with around 7.5 hours to make a spear, give or take some time.

I think that one depends on how you roll. You could be out 16 hours and not get anything or you might get a hare in the first hour.
