Do we have any posts coming soon? Are the Sirians going to react to the hailing from Valkyrie and is the Lt. Colonel going to do something more as the retreat progresses?

A Sirian side post should be dropping relatively soon.

I have a rough plan for my next post.

To make sure some of my squad gets back to the ship, Bures will get half the squad (6 out of 13) to go back to the LZ while he and the rest of the Charlie-Bravo/"Green Unit" go and help the other marines evac by fighting off the thugs and guards.
Yugoslavia's back baby...

How the hell did this happen?
Well...we don't actually know. Just sort of happened one day.
Is it a reunited Yugoslavia in the 21st century? Is a rebel colony world in the far future? Is it a race of cyborg neo-life at war with any assimilating organisms they come across in the far far future? Who knows, who cares?
New Yugoslavia just is.

Just remember that station security is heavily staffed by Sirian war vets. They know what they are doing and if the marines sit around and let them organize a response you'll all be in a very very bad spot.

This

My next post should have charlie fully withdrawing to the transports and bravo supporting them in a fighting retreat. Then its just getting on the transports and leaving.

Depending on whatever complications are thrown our way of course.

Aight, that's nice. It had been so silent here recently so i wanted to inquire what's going on behind the scenes so to speak.

A very good point, though due to 2nd Lt. Wallin's relatively low rank and clear orders, i don't think i can affect that practically at all.

So I guess trying to save the pinned down marines might not be a good idea.

This looks really good, just one question though. Is there a limit to the amount of characters we can have? Because I've got an idea for four characters making up the lieutenant and three squad leads for a platoon, but if this isn't allowed that's fine, I got plenty of other ideas floating around that would work.

Personnel Files
Name: James Edward Greer
Date of Birth: March 24th, 2294 (44 Years Old)
Homeworld: Terra
Place of Birth: Ontario, Canada
Prior Criminal Record: None
Prior Service: Service in the Navy since 2313
Character Description: Image
Family: Samantha Greer (mother, deceased), Mark Greer (father, deceased). Benjamin Greer (brother, deceased), Maria Greer (sister, deceased). Julia Winslow Greer (wife), Michael Benjamin Greer (son). While at Staff and Command school, Greer met Julia Winslow, who was working as a Sales Representative for a large tech company on Earth. They would marry in 2325, and their son, Michael Benjamin Greer, who's middle name was in honor of Benjamin Greer, would be born in 2030

Biography: Born to a government executive and an independent contractor, James Edward Greer grew up in a household which had an insight into the political situation of their world and its colonies. When Greer turned 18, he, along with his two siblings, joined the military. His brother joined the Army, his sister the Aerospace Force, and he joined the Navy. They were all in service when the Great Colonial War started, and by dumb luck all went to Mars, albeit in different units. At the time Greer was serving as a Ensign in the gunnery section on a destroyer, and was thrown head first into the action. At the end of the war in 2319, James Greer found himself the last Greer sibling still alive. His sister was killed in the defense of earth, and his brother fell during "Space Vietnam".

At the end of hostilities in 2319, Greer had been promoted to Lieutenant, serving as the second-in-command to the Weapons Officer aboard the Artemis, a Neptune-class vessel. There Greer stayed for the next 2 years, before being reassigned to Staff and Command school pending his promotion to Lieutenant Commander. Upon graduation he found himself as the Chief Weapons Officer aboard the Astral, an Eclipse-class Destroyer in 2322. He would serve as a Lt. Commander for the next 5 years, serving on various deployments from the Armistice Line to the Lalande System. Only in late 2327 would he be given his first command, the Indefatigable, an Ares-class Destroyer in the Lalande system running security duties for the tradeways.

In 2334 Greer would be promoted to Captain, and given command of the Athena assigned to Battlegroup Valkyrie.

So are apps for Battlegroup ship commanders allowed? I'd like to app for a frigate Commander. If not I'll app for an Apollo squadron leader.

They’re allowed. But if someone is running only one character then it’s preferred they be someone posted to the Valkyrie itself for interaction purposes.
