"As President Davis put it, the doctrine of the Soviet Union is nothing new, it is the doctrine of tyranny that this nation has always diligently struggled against. In that respect, tyranny has been and remains the main threat to these United States. Abroad, these forces are primarily represented by communism. Everywhere feasible, as we've engaged in Vietnam, we must confront it with military force. But despite what Representative Broussard insists, winning a war is about far more than simply wanting to win, we must ensure that domestically, we have build and secure capacity win. "
"Building and securing that capacity includes recognizing and fighting against those forces inside of our nation that advance the doctrine of tyranny and therefore undermine our fight against it domestically and ultimately abroad. While that includes communists, within our nation, the most common advocates of the doctrine of tyranny are those like Representative Broussard and those he supports, who's names he's already cited and I need not repeat, that believe that the rights of government stand above the rights of individuals, as his evidenced by his opposition to a poll tax abolition amendment that'd protect the individuals regardless of the government that they live under."
"Lastly, Representative Broussard, it is clear that your focus on colored folk is far greater than mine, as your hatred for them far exceeds your love of poor whites, who you know have their rights undermined by poll taxation, yet you refuse to accept action that'd relieve them from it."
