The Iberian government heavilly wants to trade with the Free Protectorate. However, they are a country away. Algeria lies in the track, and they will not allow their coast to be colonized-most of their population lives there. The Iberian government will begin mobilizing for an invasion of the Algerians. However, plans are needed. They reach out to the Free Protectorate

Meanwhile, the Ore Refineries and Oil Refineries are doing great refining the resources. The Iberian Government begins developing sub-automatic rifles. In the west, traders begin to go to the Dominion of America to trade with them, then they get wind of the war to DC. They don't take sides, however.

Escorted by F104Ks, B-25s began bombing Arab coastal villages. Waves of Centurion and Panther K tanks, and motorozed siezed control from the coast to mid-Algeria. "To the Iberian military, No enemy aircraft , missiles, or flak guns observed. Happy hunting!"

While no deaths were recorded, there 55 injuries, three snake bites, and two coyote attacks.

The Iberian Forces begin pushing through to attack the algerian peoples with the motorised infantry. Tanks, will come as support for them, but terrain in the south of the coast is very hilly, so the Motorised Infantry don't go there, rather they send regular infantry there. The RegInf face against guerillas, and ambushes, but they hold them off with their guns, but they maintain casualties. The Motorized Infantry go against the mafia, and the navy sends their ships to go against coastal cities. The Baptista de Andrade-Class Corvette, Accompanied by 2 Tiereme Destroyers, followed with 6 Dom Pedro VI-Class Patrol boats are sent to take Oran

Night... The Mafia ship convoy left Palermo, Sicily. Orders from La Commissione{MSfia Command]were exact.
A. Sink the Iberian Navy, B, SinK the Free Protectorate Navy. C. Reinforce and hold the Algerian Mafia bases at all costs. Every Mafiosi had either an AR-10 rifle or Beretta 38/44 SMG. All Mafiosi had a Ruger Security 6 heavy barrel .357 magnum with a a six-inch heavy barrel.

But it was a idiot's errand. The Mafia ship had no torpedoes, no sonar, no radar, no antiaircraft weapons, no naval guns, no air cover, no destroyers, no antisubmarine weapons. Shortly after dawn, an FW-189 reconnaissance plane detected them and alerted OKW. Iberia was alerted. The Luftwaffe was scrambled as the Kriegsmarine.

The Luftwaffe struck first, B-25s sinking at least a hundred ships. U-boats and E-boats sank 93 more. The captain of the cargo vessels saw the carnage and radioed. "We surrender," They were taken to New Berlin and humanely treated but their cargo kept.

An Algeria port-village. A Mafia weapons plant was found. It's workers were allowed to keep making AR-10 rifles, Ruger revolvers, and Beretta 38/44s and ammo, mags, tac gear, They were paid in pound-marks instead of lira and there was decreed 1 to 1 exchange ratio. THe question remained how to deal with the tens of thousands of captured Mafia small arms, To avoid a logistical nightmare, the types of weapons already being sent to Svenska-Britannica, Polynesia, Japan, and THe Dominion would remain the same. The factory produced weaponry would be sold commercially at home. as would the already produced bolt action carbines, too. But the captured AR-10s, .357 magnums, and submachineguns to kept as aid for potential allies, too. Production of both Mauser pistol variants, G3A3 rifle, and Beretta Mode 3l submachine gun continued.

The Iberian Motorized Infantry pushed against the coast of the Algerian countryside, and attacking mafia forces. The Iberians had better weapons, and they surprised attacked against various mafia bases, and capturing the arms that they held. The Government would inspect them and manufacture various aspects about the guns, especially the berretta, which was surprisingly fine for Italian armies at their time. They gave support to people who were under the mafia. Meanwhile, the fleet has reached Oran, and a battle has begun. The Mafia forces have set up a defense, but the destroyer's fire damage heavilly against the land defense. The Patrol boats deal with the smaller strucutres, and the corvette swoops past against the artillery and fires at them, while the air support attacks the other artillery. The Defense is destroyed, and the troops start to go on land. The Mafia face against new weapons, such as CETMEs, and the Iberians capture 3/4 of the city, with the other quarter the mafia HQ and surrounding areas there. The Iberians capture the remaining artillery and attack the mafia, and they are forced to surrender. Oran and it's province has been captured. The Infantry in the Mountains meanwhile capture more land against the mafia.

Medical, social welfare, veterinary, and educational units moved in. Unlike the cruel desert and jungle based raiders whom periodically raided THe Free Protectorate, the coastal Algerian unskilled workers had been brutalized by the Mafia occupation. Children had even been taken from the same families and placed in Mafio Reeducation Camps to brainwash them to serve Mafia in all capacities.

Paradoxically, the Mafia had treated skilled technicians and their families royally well. Yet no evidence of said people abusing or exploiting other occured. The decision? To treated them as victins, too. Mafia Prostitution Schools were also discovered. With hours. every psychiatrist and psychologist in the Free Protectorate had thousands of new patients.

An appeal for psychiatrists and psychologists was sent to Polynesia, Svenska-Britainnica, The Dominion, and Japan. Military aid and oil continued being sent to these powers alsp.

Many Algerian men and women volunteered for the Wehrmacht and the Federal Police. Many Algerian youth volunteered for both the Federal Police and the Landsturm. They liked the Free Protectorate. But training camps were swamped and the formation both an Algerian Field Police and An Algerian Federal Guard was proposed.

Anticommunism demanded this and there was there was possible of New Trade Routes. A week later, UC-3 left. New Schools were built, the Interior worked to help out the Algerians by Giving them aid, the Ministry of Health made new hospitals for them, and the Ministry o Justice was sent to punish the Mafia.

The Iberians Propose to the Libyans that the former will have the Algerian Provinces of Naama, Tlemcen, Sibbi Bel Abbes, Aim Temouchent, Oran, Mascara, and Mostaganem, and the Libyans will hold the rest.

The Question of Kiribati Flotilla

The IJN Pacific Fleet is getting closer and closer to the newly reborn Hawaii to start a diplomatic mission and secure the Island in our sphere of influence, or at least into an ally if they decide to hold total sovereignty and Independence from any foreign power. Our largest fear is to let the Californians get it, which we won't allow it. The Empire of Sunrise needs its superiority in the Pacific Ocean and secures it from any rival forces. Now that we bolstered our ranks slightly from the ships from the remnants of the Pre-Cataclysm Imperial Pacific Authority, but they need repair. Nonetheless, for now, there's no power to contest us. Despite all of these, there's a problem. The Polynesians after assuring them that we have no aggressive intentions against them, still distrust us and don't understand that our fleet is for protecting and projecting our security in the Pacific. It looks like the Kiribati Flotilla is going forward to confront the IJN. Perhaps, we have to be made more clear and speak with them again about our intentions.

In the meanwhile, the Admiral of the Kiribati Flotilla, Lewis Hill heard us and decided to talk with our Admiral, Tomohisa Takei about the current situation.

Our mission to the Hawai'ian island chain is to defend Hawai'ian waters from potential aggressive acts that may, or may not occur in the Northern Pacific Ocean, and to establish a perimeter of safety for the people that may call the islands home.

Currently, we're heading towards Hawaii on a diplomatic mission. We know that it's weird that we're moving with an entire fleet there, but our intentions are not hostile. Our Fleet will split once it reaches Midway Atoll. Most of the Fleet will remain behind and further secure and reclaim the former Japanese possessions in the Pacific Ocean, while a small convoy escort will continue its path to Honolulu to initiate a diplomatic meeting with the new Hawaiian Government. We have no intentions to further ignite the tensions in the Pacific.

I hope he will get past the episode of anxiousness and be ok. About the IJN Pacific Fleet, its assigned mission is to secure the former possessions that our Empire had before the Cataclysm before any other power does. We are happy to hear that your intentions are not hostile, I assure you, that neither are those of our Pacific Fleet. If you haven't received news from his Admiralty, Tomohisa Takei, the Fleet will split once it gets in Midway Atoll and a diplomatic convoy protected by an escort squadron will continue to Honolulu to approach the Hawaiian Government and discuss the future of the Pacific Ocean and of the Japanese-Hawaiian Relations. As I spoke with your President, we encourage the involvement and cooperation of South Polynesia in this diplomatic mission. The evacuation of the Mafia kids' famillies was a vast task. Even submarines were loaded with people and animals. The Iberians were of great help and many civilian vessel aids. Overall, it's just a weight that I kinda hate to have hanging over me...

I want to call it quits, but as signified by me even returning to this I'm still not even sure it that's good for me to do...
But, I can't keep on lingering on this...

So for now, I'm gonna say that I will be temporarily on "Holiday", offline from this RP until the foreseeable future... That is, until I either feel comfortable enough to return, or have convinced myself to actually leave this behind, as much as good, formative memories have come from it...
Whilst I'm inactive, once again I feel it best for Stephaniesland to call the shots around here, until I either return or otherwise...
