Update on Expansion:
The 3 Provinces have been taken, and have been welcomed with food and other goods. The Empire is growing, and so are the people.
Meanwhile, Cape verde and the Canary Islands have been explored with the Canary Islands willing to return to Iberia for stabillity.
Cape Verde, Meanwhile is still to be annexed.

In the west of Virginia, there was a rather bold group of bandits. They pulled off guerilla tactics with a fair bit of efficiency. That all came to an end when X Corps started using burning any place where they thought the bandits might be hiding. Very quickly, the raids stopped and the road to Lexington was clear. The battle for Lexington itself was surprisingly easy. There were hardly any defenders in the city, removing any need to damage the old city. Motorised divisions quickly secured the city and captured a few hundred bandits. Casualties were under 50 and even then only one man died due to illness. The campaign for Lexington was complete. The next stop would be the northern tip of Virginia.

Helmut von Kruger and his aide met with the Emperor. They knelt again. "Your majesty, show us what changes to our agreement you want and we are to sign it. The Fuhrer has spoken." He said. "I pray we are successful, Communism must be crushed to avoid a repeat of global chaos."

Svenska-Britannica.... A ship containing both arms and diplomats docked in London. They bore a copy of the Japanese Trade Agreement but for Svenska-Britannica. Ambassador Bill Williamson waited patiently to meet with the von Roland Dynasty.

Polynesia... The UC-5 left for home as it had come and successfully returned home via the South Africa route. Another U-boat with an arms shipment for Polynesia. Included were the new Panzerfaust C rocket
launchers. It's warhead had been developed by studying the MILANS purchased by Iberia,

New Berlin, Free Protectorate. Karl Vorster met with his staff. Lottery officials announced revenue intake from Powerball, Mega Millions, and card games would vastly more than pay for the expansions in the military, shipping industry, arms production, and diplomatic gestures without tax increases. Lufthansa announced the Me-264 was ready for a flight to Japan. Two planes would be sent. Both bore tooling, manuals, and aviation experts to help Japan build its own Me-264 transports, too.

Both the navy and New Berlin shipyards urged a ratio of 1 cargo U-boat to four cargo ships.

Bill Williamson and his aide knelt before the von Rolands. They arose. "Your excellency, here is a copy of my nation's treaty of Japan. We hope to modify it so we cooperate in both containing Communism and Free Trade. And it is the official position the Free Protectorate not to have genetic, biological, germ, atomic, neutron, hydrogen or cobalt bombs. Why? As a small nation, it's more important to have upgraded conventional military rather a dubious WMD[weapons of mass destruction]deterrent."

Captain Akillia von Schlosstein ate supper at a fast food restaurant. The female U-boat skipper saw a sign across the walkway. "Free Kittens". Happily, it was an animal support store with an integral veterinary clinic. A calico kitten was taken. The veterinarian smiled as he examined her. "Boy, 6 weeks old, healthy,"
The kitten was inoculated and Akillia paid him in Roman Gold Coins. "Thank you doctor. Happy Puppy Veterinary Hospital in New Berlin will be his care onwards."

A carrier and kitten care supplies were purchased. A kitten collar with a little name tag was around his neck. 'Tikky-Tak' was his name. Akillia returned to the UC-5. They sailed the next morning.

Ever since the collapse Gran Colombia was always under threat by Brazil. But Brazil had it's own problems and was never united as ruler after ruler just turned to dictatorship after dictatorship making the populace hate the leader and having the regime collapse but in 2000 another revolt occurred but unlike every other revolt since the collapse this one cared about the people this one would last the dreams Brazil had ever since the collapse. This new government called Nytoa Was stable it wasn't constantly on the brink of collapse and now it's guns were pointed at Gran Columbia, so when Brazil declared war it wasn't a surprise to anyone over 70,000 soldiers were sent in and 2 battle ships the Battleship RNS Atrea and the Destroyer RNS war machine they bombarded military bases on the coast lines the tired masses revolted after 3 weeks. Bombers took out major factories bombing runs took out dams flooding towns or forests after another week of combat The war machine was sunk after a bomb exploded the armoury splitting the ship in half. The rebels began to take up arms in small towns which are often bombed by the government of Gran Columbia.

McCain spent hours pouring over the reports on the equipment the military had access to. The Navy seemed to be doing well with two new Kitty-Hawks on the production line and the development of the Garcia-Class coming along nicely. The Air Force was doing well enough, with bomber production becoming more and more efficient. The Army however was a mixed bag. In terms of small arms and rifles, the Army had some of the best equipment around. However, the tanks were heavily outdated, with the newest designs being from the 50s. This had to change. Perhaps the Libyans would be inclined to help.

OOC: Ok, my dude, slow down. You can't simulate an entire invasion in one post. Especially for a country as large as Colombia. Slow down and take your invasion step by step. All posts regarding the annexation of Gran Colombia are voided, apart from the start of the invasion.

The remainder of the campaign was rather uneventful as most bandits had either fled or been captured or killed. Both IX Corps and X Corps had quickly made it to their final objective. Once there, they sent out motorised divisions to clean up the rest of the bandits within the state. Pretty soon, the state of Virginia was firmly under the control of the Dominion. While there were still some raids conducted by the bandits, they were few and ineffective. Military engineers quickly moved to start the restoration of Richmond and Lexington and pave the way for civilians to come in and start the bulk of the work needed to restore Virginia to its former glory.

Firebase Omega, Somewhere along the Mason-Dixon line

The Northeastern Republic's forces had finally done it. After almost a month, the reclamation of Pennsylvania was complete. Firebase Omega was the first base set up along the new southern border. The soldiers found it odd that it was being commissioned as a "Firebase", a term usually reserved for temporary frontline encampments, but they were distracted by the prospect of finally being able to go home. The soldiers at Firebase Omega chattered about their husbands, wives, children, and close friends. The chatter stopped when a message courier appeared at the gates of the camp, a form of delivery reserved for only the most important intel or orders.

The North Atlantic... The military, trade, and scientific missions were in a ship convoy headed for Miami, Florida. From there, they hoped to meet with the Dominion of North America. "Greetings from the Free Protectorate! We will be docking in Miami, Florida with our previously discussed scientific, military, and trade missions."

Approaching Japan... "Hello! This is the Me-264 transport plane mission to Japan. We request permission to land in Tokyo and meet with your officials,"

Considering me and the dominion are getting awfully close to sharing a border, is DC it's own territory, integrated into Virginia, or integrated into Maryland?
