The Supreme Protector had no hostility in her voice. No anger whatsoever. She was calm. Calm and honest.

The Maori Guardsman would have built up quite the rage when he delivered his response to the Dominion Eagle... Anger is what can push a man further than what could ever be imagined possible... To put it simply, the idea that a 'Man/Woman can be too angry to die' is well and truly... Well, true. And though Petera Herangi was in no situation where his life was in great peril, the point stayed similar.
However, as the Supreme Protector began to speak, mr Herangi would notice something straight away... The Eagle had refused to rise to him, his aggression and insults. Instead, in a cool voice, not even with any ulterior malevolence or hidden anger, not like Charles von Roland had explicitly shown he was willing to perform, Stephanie Cordato would have made her response:

Supreme Protector Stephanie Cordato
"Perhaps, I went too far with insulting the Chieftess. For that, I'm sorry. She has been as good of a diplomat as one could hope for. I am just concerned for my people. I will do anything I need to in order to protect them. I haven't received a single transmission from my government since I got here. A worrying sign. Such fears are the bane of any politician's mental health. It doesn't help that I have no clue what Charles von Roland said about my people. Is there to be hostility? I have no clue. Not knowing can be a death sentence for a politician. I most certainly did not mean to insult your deities. Although, I have no clue how I did, but still. I apologise for anything I said that may have lead you to think that. However, I do still take an affront to your insults. Yes, my message to the Indians was probably in bad taste. But, quite frankly, I did not state anything that was a lie, at least to an outside observer. The Swedes had taken control of the British Isles, a land that has a very different culture to Sweden. Although, I must be clear with you. Any intimidation I used with your Chieftess was purely done as a response to her not giving me the information I wanted. Such is the game of diplomacy. Very carefully crafted speeches and inorganic conversations. A rather unfortunate truth about diplomacy. As far as blackmail goes, I have yet to employ any form of blackmail. Deceit, I have not been deceitful. I have not told any particular lies. I do not want to have to use any of those tactics when conducting diplomacy with your people. I do want a genuinely friendly relationship. As far as being raised by the mafia goes, I believe that mafia and mob interactions come far closer to international diplomacy than anyone expects. You'd be surprised by some of the ways pre-cataclysm nations took care of things. Finally, we come to your claim of my selfishness. Everything I do, I do for my people. As should any politician. If that's selfish, then all politicians are selfish."

And the transition would have shocked Guardsman Herangi more than any anger or intimidation could ever have done in that situation... The anger that he forced within himself was as intense as a bull in a China shop, and yet the antithesis would stand in front of him, the woman of the Dominion of America, acting as cool as a Shaolin monk.
As Stephanie Cordato would have gone through with her return speech, the Maori Guard would have to slowly cool himself from the anger he had built up... Whilst he still found the way Stephanie Cordato had interrogated his boss, Malie Lea'ai of Polynesia, pressuring and mentally hurting the person of which had the utmost respect, and perhaps even the start of friendship with, then to further go on and insult her Gracious Chieftess to his face was very untasteful indeed, he could also understand that the premise that all of that came from stresses, worry and perhaps even a little bit of desperation.

And he himself had reacted in as much, if not more so a tasteless way to ms Cordato, it seems that they had both done wrong in this situation.
So, in a way, the whole conversation would have to return to square one again... This time, there was a change, however. At the very least, Stephanie must know that intimidating mr Herangi would not work... Maybe with Malie Lea'ai, but not the fearless Maori Warrior.
And Petera Herangi would have found a new found respect for the Dominion Eagle... Indeed, he hated the way the Supreme Protector had started that conversation, but he had been shown the true power that Stephanie may well hold in that instant.

And so, ironically, the bout of anger and intimidation both members shared against eachother may well have made the ending result more stable, and potentially peaceful.
There was a small problem, now... As Malie Lea'ai, the Chieftess of Polynesia would have been escorted up those stairs to meet with the von Rolands once more, there was a chance that. She may be swayed to believe to Svenska-Britannia's cause. Especially after seeing a different side of Stephanie Cordato in that room. As sure, Charles von Roland is a man of untold anger and unpredictability, but if there is one benefit to the Anglo-Nordic monarch, is that he is honest... Brutally so.
The Supreme Protector was correct... In everything she has said, honesty was the key idea that she had been following, and that is something mr Herangi would recognise. However, she has a way of showing a little dishonesty, in her emotions... In a way, the exterior cool that she could show in any given situation, no matter how she would feel within could be even more scary than the most angry, vicious person in the world. In the American Mafia of the Pre - Cataclysmic ages, intimidation was very refined indeed. Communication was most commonly cool and collected, but one would have known that they were talking to hardened criminals, people that would not hesitate to slit one's throat if even the slightest thing that they found tasteless was said. And though it would be very rude indeed to call Stephanie Cordato a 'hardened criminal', she does indeed give off the same air that those old Mob Bosses had...

Back to the conversation... Petera Herangi had taken his time in calming himself down... And once in the right state of mind, something that took him almost half a minute of silence between the whole group to achieve, the Guardsman would finally speak:

Guardsman Petera Herangi
"... I accept the apologies you have given me, and Chieftess Malie Lea'ai... I also hope that the Gods above can do the same. And I should return the favor... The things I had said to you was. Untasteful, at best.
In the spirit of acceptance, honesty and friendship, may I tell you a short story?

My family comes from a long lineage of Maori Warriors, going as far back as the 1300's, when my people first set foot on Aotearoa. My ancestors had fought with spears, clubs and maces against the largest Empire of all time, Redcoats with muskets, cannons and some of the best military doctrine of it's time... My people fought with such zeal, patriotism, and most important of all, anger that the British Empire suffered such losses against the Maori, perhaps one of the largest upsets in their colonial history... My people... My family had created such a large impression on the British that we drove them to the negotiating table, and a treaty between us was signed.
Though annexation did finally happen, when the British Empire had the strength and position to do so, our aforementioned impression made it so that, whilst us Maori were still exploited in many a way, we became one of the most well off Natives in the whole of the Pacific Ocean.

Stephanie... It is anger and strength which brought my people to success and into the books of history, forever. Without Maori zealotry, and fury, my people are nothing.
And so I try to continue the trend... It would be a huge disrespect to my ancestors, my family back home, and the deities of Polynesia if I were to abandon what makes us great. So, whilst I do apologise for my backlash against you, including blatant insults and the such, you may now understand that it was the only way I would have reacted. I will not insult your feelings and honour further by asking for forgiveness, but whilst you may now hate my guts, I hope it does not have to be the end of Polynesia's friendship with the Dominion of America."

Svenska-Britannia wrote:
As the Chieftess obliged to the offer that the Diplomat gave. He could not help but sigh in relief after they've gone quite a distance away from the arrogant American.

The Diplomat thanked his lucky stars, it seems that the Maori were successfully taken from the jaws of the American eagle. Unto the welcoming hands of the Imperial Lion.

After walking through what felt like an eternity of being in the hallway, they finally arrived back at the meeting room.

There awaited the rest of the Imperial Diplomats and the Grand Emperor & Empress.

Charles displayed a face of concern before it switched to one of relief as the Chieftess made her presence.

"Ah..Chieftess Malie Lea'ai..i welcome you back to the Meeting Room, terribly sorry for all the shenanigans that happened earlier.." He beamed a heartwarming smile to the Chieftess. Only to be lightly bonked by his Wife.

"Now now Charles, you still have much to discuss.." His wife tutted him.

Malie Lea'ai felt... Truly strange. Even she could not explain, to herself, to anyone else around her what had happened to her in that instant of finishing her prayer.
There was one thing for certain, though... Whist this could be very well a trick of her mind, a hallucination coming from a sudden burst of renewed energy that she had been given, she could swear to herself she felt the Deities of Polynesia's power within her, boosting her vitality, both physically and more importantly, mentally. But, that seems foolish to believe... Whilst there was no doubt in her mind that her Gods and Goddesses do indeed exist, she knows that it is not like them to take personal interest in anything within the world. They were fathers and mothers, sure, but they were overworked ones, with millions upon millions of children that they had to look after with their power.

Who could blame them from distancing themselves from the absolute stresses of Planet Earth? By all that is good, if Malie Lea'ai herself had millions of children, she would have taken a revolver and entered a room alone a long, long time ago...
But, whether due to Placebo, or something else entirely, she felt power... And it would be unwise to refuse what was given to her, no?

Whilst the Svenska-Britannic Diplomat marched his way up those stairs, the Gracious Chieftess short on his heels, with the newfound energy that she had, she'd start to think logically now, on how to approach this absolutely tense situation.
There would be too easy ways out... Picking a side, either with the Svenska-Britannics or the Americans... But she wasn't sure that would ever turn out good for Polynesia. Eventually, with both sides vying against eachother, they would go to war, and Polynesia has no reason to be pulled into it...

So, though it may be harder, unless otherwise convinced otherwise, the Polynesian Chieftess will try and keep Polynesia neutral during the future...
Perhaps Polynesia will have a few friends... But none interested in tearing out the throats of another.

Soon enough, the Anglo-Nordic and the Chieftess of Polynesia would find themselves on the third floor... And then, directly in the centre, the Diplomat would stop... And then, he would swing the door open, and with an inviting hand, would give Malie Lea'ai the right of way in...

She would do so without question, and with a small:

Malie Lea'ai
"Thank you, sir"

, She would walk through the door, to meet with the Svenska-Britannic royals once more... If they got angry again, Malie Lea'ai would be straight out of there, is what she told herself...

The faces on Charles and Grace von Roland would turn from apprehension, to surprise and a hint of happiness... They would smile, and Charles von Roland would take the initiative to speak first with:

Charles von Roland
"Ah..Chieftess Malie Lea'ai..I welcome you back to the Meeting Room, terribly sorry for all the shenanigans that happened earlier.."
Grace von Roland
"Now now Charles, you still have much to discuss.."

Malie Lea'ai would study the two of them for a few seconds, before quickly stepping to the side and leaning her back against the wall, left foot and boot raised in the air and leaning against the wall... Perhaps the Svenska-Britannic monarchs would notice how much more confident, and perhaps even firm the Polynesian Chieftess is now.
As for her, she would believe that she has been useless here for too long... With renewed energy, she shall finally make her presence known, moreso than that Leader who was too weak to deal with diplomacy and thus fainted.

With a smile, one that may look very slightly sly, Malie Lea'ai would say from her position against the wall:

Chieftess Malie Lea'ai
"It almost seemed like you were expecting someone else, your highness Mr von Roland...
By any means, your Anglo-Nordic diplomat, the fellow who is standing by the door just right there (Sending a finger towards the aforementioned Diplomat to point at him) had interrupted what I had planned with the Supreme Protector of the Dominion of America, Stephanie Cordato... Said you urgently needed me, no?

So, I cannot stay here long... Ms Cordato is already quite dissapointed that I was pulled away from her. Say what you will, and then I shall make my leave."

Further expansion into Manchuria and Philippines

With our own initial plans of outside mining and trade being successful, for a fair amount of time, we stopped our expansion and concentrated on more diplomatic affairs. But with our country developing, so is our country's demand for resources, which couldn't be satiated with the situation of the status-quo anymore, so further expansion is needed, more garrisons and troops will be needed to oversee our growing empire, our country will further develop, creating an everlasting cycle, until we will achieve self-sufficiency or at least a stable status-quo in the future. So Army Group Manchucko and Army Group Philippines were ordered to advance further into their designated territories and colonize them. As for collaborationist governments, we almost founded them and will be ready to rule on our behalf, reducing the strain on our garrisons and will make our administrative organ rule easier. The Japanese are marching into the unknown, and won't stop, for now. In Manchuria, 'Arakan' Occupation Manchucko passed over the Shenyang-Changchun line, even taking the city of Harbin too, marching until they stopped at the extreme North of Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia. Right now, Japan borders China once again. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, 'Niko' Occupation Philippines passed over Manila and only stopped at Pagbilao and Gumaca. And with this, Japan further expands its influence in the Pacific and East Asia.

Our Libyan trade partner

So far, our Libyan partners arrived in Tokyo with a lot of guns out of all things. The Emperor himself sent a diplomat to discuss future trade deals between the Empire of Sunrise and the Free Protectorate of Libya.

Bill Williamson
"May your Empire reign eternally! God save the Emperor!"

Japanese Diplomat
"We thank you for this gift and we also hope for wonderful Japanese-Libyan relations. May your nation be prosperous and grand."

Bill Williamson
"We are willing to send more weapons like these in exchange for Chromium and raw materials you may be mining in Manchuria." "However, we cannot recommend the Cape of Good Hope Route, as nightmarish storms are constant in that zone. Do you know if both the Panama Canal is operational and does the Dominion of North America have an embassy here that we may initiate formal diplomatic relations with them, too?"

The diplomat stayed to think this for a while. Guns for Chromium and raw materials? But we need them, our Empire needs them to sustain itself and its development. Well, I guess it doesn't hurt to share a bit, not too much, we still need these.

Japanese Diplomat
"We accept the deal. Well, we think that the Panama Canal is operating, and the Dominion of North America doesn't have an embassy. They have a fear that we are the same Japan as in the Pre-Cataclysmic Period and our relations are quite distrustful. Well, it's been a pleasure to see Libyans in our land too. Nice to meet you, Mr. Bill."

The Polynesian Chieftess would have been staring at Charles von Roland, with much focus and seriousness... She had to tell the Svenska-Britannics within the room that she would no longer be a puppet on a string to the wider powers that be... Not for the Dominion of America, not for the Soviet Union or the Socialist Australians... And not for the Svenska-Britannics or their allies.
South Polynesia was in independent, proud country, which has it's own messages to send out across the world, and it's own points that it would stress, different from the three factions that have now formed across the world, at eachother's throats... And it was about time that one of their leaders acted like the country, and it's ideals they represent...

And so she would listen to what Charles von Roland had to say, and by gods he was blunt, and to the point... Almost enough so that Malie Lea'ai would be slightly taken aback from the following words:

Charles von Roland
"I have much to discuss about your..discussion with the Supreme Protector..

Our intelligence sources have reasons to believe that Stephanie Cordato..leader of the Dominion is using all sorts of Political Ploys to exploit your administrative powers..

I have with full confidence say that the Americans are eager to use you as a sort of puppet to further their plans on ruining our chances of peace in this world..
We already have the Soviets and Arabians on one side of the world..let us not get ourselves be surrounded alone by both the Americans and those Socialist Australians.. The Sunrise Empire is certainly reminding me of the Old Imperial Japanese empire..but they certainly have changed for the better and are eager to maintain the fragile peace we've made so far..
But the others aren't willing to maintain that peace..

Listen to me and i ask of you that i gain your trust in this....the Americans are planning to destroy all we've planned for from the beginning..
They want to engage themselves in war to further profit their greedy and selfish desires..The Soviets and Arabians are also doing the same.. So i ask of you Chieftess....are you willing to maintain the peace you've hoped for? Or are you just going to let it burn in the fires of war?"

However, the Polynesian Chieftess would not bend the knee to the Svenska-Britannics, not so easily... At this current time, her Gracious Chieftess trusts the Dominion of America, the Soviet Sciences Republics and the Imperium of Svenska-Britannia all equally... And that is to say, she finds them all as untrustworthy as eachother currently.
There's good example for each...

Svenska-Britannia, under the... 'Wise' consul of Charles von Roland is if anything... Unhinged. They will do almost anything and everything at a drop of the hat. For instance, one person antagonizes them? Immediate embargo. Not exactly a recipe for international peace.
The Soviets and their allies... They fired the first shot against the Svenska-Britannics, and started a war that could have been very bloody indeed... As a matter of fact, it is rather surprising that this peace conference has even been hosted at all, considering how dysfunctional the Soviet Sciences Republic and their opponent seems to be...
And the Dominion of America. They have done less than the other two powers, but has the 'potential' to cause chaos as the others can... In addition, the Supreme Protector wasn't exactly too kind to Malie Lea'ai, and they went out of their way to antagonise Svenska-Britannia.

Charles von Roland will need to do better than that to convince Malie Lea'ai to side with them.
Putting on an unimpressed, professional code of expression, and crossing her arms together, the Polynesian Chieftess would finally attempt to show the Hotel that she is not their plaything:

Malie Lea'ai, her Gracious Chieftess
"Hmmmm... Did you get a reason to suspect anything about the potential conversation me and Stephanie Cordato had? I didn't exactly see a Svenska-Britannic within that room, I can assure you of that...
That must mean you are either talking on a hunch, which is hardly a good thing to do, or you somehow managed to gather up what was said... I will confess, I did feel like eyes and ears were on me in that room, and though that was just instinct, it is often foolish to ignore instinct, no?

So, you sent someone to spy on us? I will admit, for that you get both my commendation, and condemnation for that... For one, it is smart of you to think of using the initiative of intelligence gathering within this here hotel, where the important world leaders frequent... But, you've now been caught doing that deceit, and that his hardly a good look, no?
Well, no reason to try and hide secrets from you and your Svenska-Britannic Entourage now, correct? Ms Cordato was indeed trying to use her methods, some somewhat unsavory ones for that matter to pry the knowledge of the Trade Embargo Svenska-Britannia placed on her nation from me... But can you blame her for trying? Truly? If some leader suddenly decided to lock their trade to you, without telling you, you'd like to find out as well, correct?

(*Sighs*) Listen... I know how this whole ordeal has put you on edge, your Imperial Highness Charles von Roland. But you do not have the moral high ground here. Your nation did not fire the first shots of your conflict with the Soviet Union, and that is commendable... But in retrospective, your country did nothing to stop what had happened from happening.
Neither did the Soviets, you both hold responsibility for the war you faced.
You sent an Embargo of your trade to the Dominion of America on a whim, and refused to let the women who leads the nation know of it... And why? You got annoyed by a dispatch the Dominion sent, and you just happened to intercept...

Listen... I will be the first one to admit, what Stephanie Cordato did to you, attempting to antagonise you in whichever way she saw was wrong.
That does not make your reaction correct, however... You hurt an entire country's population, because of personal animosity to it's leader.
I believe that the Dominion of America is not to be trusted fully, as you do... Unlike you, however, I do not claim that I have 'intelligence sources have reasons to believe that Stephanie Cordato..leader of the Dominion is using all sorts of Political Ploys to exploit (my) administrative powers' under vague pretense or with no basis at all.
I no longer fully trust the Dominion, because they are a country that heralds from the American Mafia, and because their leader has created a negative impression on me personally... That is hardly enough for Polynesia to justify an embargo on them, or to claim that they are our 'Harbingers of our destruction', as you are trying to say."

The Polynesian Chieftess, Malie Lea'ai would stand up fully from her place against the wall of the room, and take two, confident steps towards Charles and Grace von Roland... She shakes her head ever so slowly, making sure that the entire room can see her disapproval... Then, she takes looks at both Charles, followed by Grace and then the Diplomats and Guards, seeing their faces, ranging from annoyance, surprise and even impressed. It seems that none of them were expecting the Chieftess, who had made herself look like a soft, emotional and potentially exploitable person to personally challenge Charles von Roland, and furthermore, indirectly the Soviets and the Americans in addition.

She would then slowly turn her head back to Charles... With a quicker shake of her head, and a dissaproving motion from her hand, swiping the air in front of her as if was a knife going through butter, she would say with a loud, bold voice:

Chieftess Malie Lea'ai
"I trust all three of you powers that be as little as eachother.

I understand what you are trying to do, your majesty sir von Roland, and that is win South Polynesia over to your side... At this point, I will most likely have to, unfortunately decline... The only beneficial side I see South Polynesia taking right now is no side at all, complete neutrality...
You know, at first I believed that Emperor Makani was an idiot for choosing to put Polynesia in isolationism... I owe him a cocktail now, and an apology.

And please, refrain from lecturing South Polynesia on 'maintain(ing) the peace you've (I've) hoped for? Or are (am) you (I) just going to let it burn in the fires of war?' South Polynesia has done nothing but strive for peace, ever since it's existence... And your nation has already taken part in war.
I do indeed wish to maintain the peace I've hoped for, Charles von Roland... And wouldn't you know it, that would mean not siding with any of the nations that have decided to war against eachother.

I've been harsh here, Charles von Roland... And perhaps I should owe you an apology, and if so I wish to give it to you... But I hope I have made it obvious to you, and to anyone else who eventually hears of what happened here that I am... South Polynesia isn't anybody's master, and it never will be!
Let me make this clear, your highness... I hold no personal animosity to you, your people and your nation. I am simply negotiating what is best for South Polynesia. And as righteous as your cause may be, your nation is destined for war... And that war is one South Polynesia has no part in taking part in, and we shall not encourage it.

Every. Single. One of you need to get your act together... You, Imperial Highness Charles von Roland. Supreme Protector, Stephanie Cordato... And the hidden man that leads the New Soviet Union, need to stop treating international politics like a game of monopoly.
For every. Single. One of you are putting the Earth on a crash course with yet another cataclysm.
And may the Gods and Goddesses have pity and mercy on you all should you cause it... For they will be greatly angered.
You may not believe in the Polynesian Deities... But I am sure you believe in a higher power nonetheless. And whomever you believe brought life to Earth, they gave us a chance to prosper, to live... Do not waste that."

The Supreme Protector had gained a newfound respect for the young man. He clearly had all the traits one could hope for in a guard. Fiercely loyal to a fault. And the Supreme Protector always loved hearing the family histories of other people. The conversation had finally shown the Supreme Protector that there needed to be a force that can de-escalate situations. In a room full of hothead politicians, who would be there to keep the peace. Someone had to do it. And it had to be her. That would be the only way to ensure peace in the future. If a supposedly antagonistic power came out offering to talk, then the rest would follow. Or at least that was the hope. Perhaps it was a little arrogant to assume that the Supreme Protector should be the one to do it. But it had to be someone with stakes in the whole affair. The Polynesians, for all intents and purposes, was an isolated archipelago. All they had to fear was the Australians. No, it had to be the Supreme Protector.

"Sir Herangi, your honesty is exactly what is needed to de-escalate the world tension. Politicians are far too driven with their own agendas to be truly honest and act in the interests of all peoples. That needs to change. And it can only change if someone leads by example. I will make you a promise. I will end any attempts to antagonise the Swedes and will offer to reconcile with them and find a peaceful solution to our problems. If you want to tell of what the Swedes had said about the Dominion in that ill-fated meeting, that will be up to you. I won't pressure you to tell me. That will be entirely up to you. Either way, I will pursue a policy of reconciliation. And perhaps, the world will finally know peace."

UC-3:

Postby Crimetopolis » Sat Apr 17, 2021 5:08 pm

The Tip of South America....

The UC-3 had intercepted he warning from Polynesia has been intercepted, and the UC-3 sailed for the Panama Canal, It arrived safely. but awaited permission to use.

Polynesia... The UC-2 docked in Port Vila, Vanautau, Polynesia. Fifty cases each of G3A3 rifles, Mauser c96 pistols, Beretta 38/44 submachinegun, MG-3 Machineguns, and like accessories[ammo and so forth]were unloaded. "This is how we will pay you for docking, repair, and resupply." exclaimed Captain Akillia von Schlosstein."

The sailors were given shore leave. Many friendships were rapidly made. Captain von Schlosstein herself put on a fresh tropical uniform and sidearm with water bottle, utility pouch and first aid pouch."I shall return by 2300 hours local time." she told the watch. She walked along the beach. She liked watching the animals, especially the little monkeys.

She noticed some traditional fishermen. Could it be pleasant to be oblivious to the modern world, she thought. She reached inside her utility pouch and changed her deck shoes into full treaded sandals she'd purchased at G.I. Clothes in New Berlin[formerly Tripoli]. Much better. She drank some water and walked into the surf, mid-leg deep. "Oh, that feels good." she murmured aloud. as the sea cooled her feet. Free Protectorate military socks and under garments were dry wicking and comfy, but the sea was clearly superior, too.

Alongside a native house, a mother cat nursed several kittens. She smiled as she thought of Soda Pop, her orange cat, back home. He was being boarded at Happy Puppy Veterinary Hospital, next door to her family home in New Berlin. The UC-2's ship's cat had died there of cancer, and the U-boat needed a new ship's cat, too.

South Polynesia: Update

Friendship and Trade from the Free Protectorate of Libya...

Image
An image taken of the 'Faapapaina Hotel' within Vanuatu state's capital state of Port Vila, taken on a slightly overcast day... It is expected that the occupants of the Protectorate Cargo Submarine, called by the uninspirational name of UC-2 will be offered rooms within the Hotel by the Local Chieftain of Vanuatu, Iwai Regenvanu when they meet.

"Polynesian Governmental Offices Building, Nuku'alofa, Tonga Islands, South Polynesia to Tripoli, Libya, The Free Protectorate.
Greetings to both the esteemed Huey Long, and Robert C. Ryder of the Free Protectorate... To sir Ryder, I must clarify that this is not his highness Makani, of All Polynesia, but is instead Ionatana Tuitama, the Temporary Chieftain of the Union of South Polynesia, filling in for her Gracious Chieftess Malie Lea'ai's current absence from her role. It is good to hear back from the Maghreb Region, and it's civilized inhabitants, and furthermore it is quite a welcome to know that a Supply Ship, or rather Submarine in this case is heading towards Port Vila as we speak...

Before I begin with anything else, I must tell you of some information that you would be wise to listen to, and take into consideration.

Please turn your Cargo Submarine back from it's trajectory towards Cape Horn, the southern point where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans officially meet... I would suggest using the restored Panama Canal instead, as whilst you may be tariffed, it is PLENTY safer than the cape...

Why do I say this? South Polynesia has received many rumors of Cape Horn and it's instability ever since our inception, especially so when we finally started making contact with the international world... The waterway is... Cursed, it seems that every time a ship, of any size or classification sails into the region, it vanishes without a trace... No SOS signal back home, no RADAR signatures picked up, just a very sudden disappearance, with no trace for what happened at all.
South Polynesia has long been concerned with potentially sending out a Naval Dispatch to the Horn, but nothing has been, or even is currently planned, due to other worries.

And now, back to business, though I very well do hope you take attention to what I said... We appreciate the Generosity of the Free Protectorate in supplying Polynesia with weapons, accessories and other supplies to us... As planned, your Cargo Submarine will dock in the Ports of Port Vila, and meet with the Local Chieftain of the Vanuatu state, that being his honour Iwai Regenvanu. On a note, we have noticed that you wish to continue supply runs to South Polynesia, in return for the continued use of Polynesian ports for further missions... I will have to, with due respect of course, withhold judgement on accepting or declining the offer, until it is discussed further by the Vanuatu Local Chieftain and the members of the UC-2, including the esteemed Captain Akillia von Schlosstein, or otherwise by our governments at a later date...

Best wishes and hopes from South Polynesia to the Free Protectorate... May Rua-I-Tupra grant you continued successes for you and your people..."

"Polynesian Governmental offices Building, Nuku'alofa, Tonga Islands, South Polynesia to Port Vila, Vanuatu, Vanuatu State
Good day to the Local Chieftain of the Vanuatu State, esteemed Iwai Regenvanu... I am the Temporary Chieftain of South Polynesia, Ionatana Tuitama.

I wish to notify you that the offer I had put out to the Free Protectorate of Libya, allowing one of their Cargo Submarines docking rights to Port Vila has been accepted... A cargo Submarine marked by the name of 'UC-2', under a certain Akillia von Schlosstein is travelling from the Indian Ocean towards Vanuatu as we speak, with a gift of Protectorate weaponry, including some interesting sounding Submachine Guns, and Assault Rifles, most likely to thank our country from offering them a place to refuel and recuperate.
We are not sure when, or how the Protectorate personnel will get to Port Vila, so I do hope that you make necessary preparations so that you will always be ready... I am also sure that the Military officials on the islands will notify you of an approaching Submarine, and naturally you will tell them to refrain from opening fire, correct?

My best wishes for you, comrade... May the gods and goddesses of our faith always look fondly upon you..."

We have recently received news that South Polynesia has officially made contact with a new country of our brave new world, and this one is more specifically the first discovered civilisation of the Maghreb region of Africa, and in addition the first native African country to rise out of the ashes of the Cataclysm.
Extending an olive branch to this new country, which has already begun procedures across the world in international trade, including but not limited to Cargo Submarine(s) being sent across oceans towards our ally in the Sunrise Empire of Japan and Korea, in order to trade and potentially establish their own relations with the East Asian juggernaut...

Returning to our point, Ionatana Tuitama, the Temporary Chieftain of South Polynesia had invited one of their Cargo Submarines, on a perilous mission across the world docking rights within our country, namely the Vanuatu State and Port Vila in order to refuel and recuperate, and in addition potentially establish relations with South Polynesia, and as far as we are aware, the olive branch has been accepted and our nation is expecting a certain UC-2 vessel, whomst is commanded by a 'Captain Akillia von Schlosstein' within Port Vila within the near future...
Despite how far both the Free Protectorate and South Polynesia are away, South Polynesia may find itself potentially with a great future ally, something much needed within this new world...

'Nga wai e rere ana', Crown Prince Loto Fele returns to South Tarawa, with good news!

"I.S Mana, South Tarawa, Tarawa Island, Kiribati State to Polynesia Governmental offices Building, Nuku'alofa, Tonga Islands.
I bring very great news back to South Polynesia, esteemed Temporary Chieftain Ionatana Tuitama! I would hope that you would recognise me, but in the off chance that I have escaped your memory, I am Loto Fele, Lieutenant of the South Polynesian Navy, stationed within the Kiribati Flotilla.

Me, and my comrades aboard the I.S Mana have now returned to South Tarawa from Tokyo, in the light of the Diplomacy we wished to pursue with the 'Sunrise Empire' of Japan and Korea... The Japanese capital city was simply beautiful, such a great mix of modernism and traditionality.
Negotiations with the Sunrise Emperor, Akihito went rather splendidly, I must say... South Polynesia has received a free trade agreement with their country, and we had also told eachother that in the near future, we shall establish an embassy, or consulate within our nations' capital cities within a 730 day notice... I have indeed brought back proof, a signed document should you, or the people not believe what had actually transpired.

So, I suppose I should advise you to start planning to set up a permanent diplomatic mission within the 'Sunrise Empire', no?
By any means, I hope that someone can come and receive the aforementioned document soon enough, and perhaps we could personally meet sometime soon in addition...

Farewell for now, mr Tuitama... May the Gods and Goddesses continue to bless you with success..."

The Crown Prince of Polynesia, 'Nga wai e rere ana' Loto Fele has been reported to return from the 'Sunrise Empire's ' lands, more specifically the capital city of Tokyo to South Tarawa, the capital city of the Kiribati State. With him came news of successes in establishing personal, close relations with the Northern Neighbor, including:

- A free trade agreement
- An establishment of a South Polynesian Embassy within Tokyo
- An establishment of a 'Sunrise Empire' Embassy within Nuku'alofa

And in addition, perhaps plenty more that hasn't been confirmed.
We are personally glad to see the Crown Prince back safely at his home, and that in addition he had negotiated positive connections between our two great nations. As tensions all across the brave new world continue to grow, perhaps Polynesia can still count on an ally, through thick and thin...

OOC: For Crimetopolis
My Emperor is currently occupied in a different place within South Polynesia, and thus would have no way to see you...
In addition, I believe I directed the UC-2 to Port Vila, Vanuatu and not Polynesia's Capital City, Nuku'alofa...

So, please modify again to dock within Port Vila... Also, please refrain from RP'ing my characters by yourself as you did before... Simply have your Submarine dock in Port Vila, and I will follow up with a response myself.
So, still VOIDed as it needs further corrections...

(Sorry about this, but I spent too much time on the post planning for Vanuatu, including getting a chance to RP a different character of Polynesia, and I'd rather it not be wasted...
Cheers.)

But these are stubborn people we are forced to deal with that think in a rather... Misguided set of ideals so to speak. We can only try our best to convince them to our way, even compromise with them, but it'll likely prove hard and difficult, my Arabian comrade." He then said, voicing some doubt already to a rather peaceful and diplomatic deescalation of tensions.

After taking another sip from his beer, he then continued voicing his opinion on the subject. "Personally it'll be a lot, and I mean, A L O T, easier if the Anglo-Nordics were no longer a factor to deal with. Such a weird and wrong amalgamation of a state personally speaking, only proving to drive more tensions amongst our proper and just nations if you tell me. Them being put right in their place is the best we can hope for at this moment." Yatskov then went off to Bobbo.

Bob Bobbo would have listened, carefully to what his Soviet comrade in Anatoli Yatskov had said in response to his own piece. And it seems that the Undying Soviet Sciences Republic has some strong doubts as to whether any type of beneficial negotiation can be established, as mentioned no less than three separate times by Yatskov.
Mr Bobbo can only hope that his compatriots are intelligent enough to see how sending the world into a second Cataclysm is not the way to bring the light of the proletariat into the peoples of the imperialistic, exploitative governments and nations across the world...

To put it simply, if there is no - one left to experience the glory of their liberation from the Bourgeoisie, then what is even the point in trying?
And that is meant in a literal sense... A true war now, with the power of the Atom in firm grasp of the new Soviet Union, and now most likely more wielded by the maniacs in control of the Anglo-Nordic peoples, any war on the scale of the Pre - Cataclysmic Great Wars, of which Bob Bobbo would not pretend to disbelieve is what it would come down to, would only end when one state, one's peoples are plunged into the chaos of a Nuclear holocaust.
Hardly a recipe for success for defeating the evil forces of Capitalism, correct? After all, the teachings of Marx, and Lenin are still relatively new to the Human world, having sprung up on the onset of Industrialisation in the mid to late 19th century... Society has been around for thousands of years longer than the idea of the Proletariat Revolution.

So to reset civilisation from a society-ending War would only mean thousands more years of exploitation, of the Bourgeoisie having their way with the lower classes... Ironically enough, bringing the fires of Nuclear Armageddon to the Capitalist dogs would only be doing them a favor.

Bob Bobbo would now lean towards Anatoli Yatskov, arms placed on the table that they share... Because whilst the Xenickese and the Soviets shared a united cause, the Xenick dispatch cannot pretend to agree with their comrade's idea of bringing the Proletariat Revolution through war, and force.
With an uneasy smile, Mr Bobbo would give his response:

Bob Bobbo
"As stubborn as the people in charge of the Capitalistic States are, that is the nature of things unfortunately... They are not going to see themselves transferring their powers and luxuries over to the people that need it the most, for they are content with the status quo in their nations.
They'd rather see themselves basking in the luxury of their Palaces, or their overfunded Parliamentary Buildings whilst the lower classes of their nations that they are supposed to be guiding, and supposed to be leading to a better future continue to be trodden on as they cry for help against their oppression, against the inequality...

Please, attempt to listen, sir Yatskov... The Capitalists want war. They want us to start fighting them with our guns, our bombs and our people, for that will provide them the perfect excuse to blind the Proletariat of their nation to the cause of 'Defending your homes from the perils that our enemies will bring upon you'. With the excuse of Nationalism that any single nation can spur on within their people at times of war, unending, it conveniently halts any Societal Development within the aforementioned country.
I do not believe that showing the forces that aim to stop the Proletariat Revolution our military mights will cause the change we wish to see... The lower classes would not be interested in rising up against their oppressors when they are merely attempting to survive bombing runs, gunshots throughout their streets, and Tanks rolling down their streets, launching high explosive shells wherever they see fit to.

Any war we have now, as I had mentioned before will eventually encompass the whole world... And if I may be correct in my hypothesis that the Anglo-Nordics have not sat around to let us have the advantage of the Atom, then any notion of warfare has gotten much, much worse.
A potential Nuclear Holocaust will reset civilisation, back to the ages of Sumer, or Babylonia... Perhaps even before. And with that, it will surely take the Proletariat Revolution thousands more years once more from becoming a possibility once again.
We cannot show the Lower Classes the way of equality, of Communism and the overthrowing of the Bourgeoisie if there is no Lower Class left, because they have succumbed to the woes of a Nuclear onslaught.

For all the reasons mentioned above, I hope that you may reconsider overt hostilities, Anatoli Yatskov...
I can promise you, by the great word of Allah, and the teachings of Marx and Lenin that the Svenska-Britannics will fall... Not by war, but by internal division, and eventually their own Revolution, just as Russia had faced back in the 1910's.
I recommend that instead of war, we define ourselves as the Harbingers of the Lower Classes... We both have Secret Services, correct? Well, we infiltrate their lands, spread the truth of the Proletariat's oppression from within, open the people's eyes from within, you understand. For we Comrades of the World outnumber the Bourgeoisie 10 to 1, perhaps even more. If every worker of the world can unite under a single cause, (*hearty laugh*) then the Capitalists will not stand a chance...

And for now, we can show the Imperialist dogs our might through our word, and the strength of the Worker's united voices.
The Svenska-Britannics and their allies will be humiliated in accepting our victory... Naturally, we will make it look as if we are equal parties, we will make ourselves seem reasonable, but those prideful, selfish Bourgeoisie will see even a negotiation as a loss.
And so, through word, through infiltration, through the process of time, the world will be encompassed by the Proletariat Revolution...
Current society predicts the victory of the Workers... All we need to do is sit back and watch their downfall, Да?"

As Charles listened to her entire sermon of a speech concerning how everyone needs to get it's act together. He finally replied as she finished.
The Monarch replied to the Chieftess with a calm yet serious voice.

"As noble as your goal is on making us sue for peace..it is not easy when everyone can just backstab you on a moment's notice..you may be the neutral ground in all of this conflict between me, the Soviets and Arabians..But take note Dear Chieftess. Are you really willing to let yourself watch as slowly but surely, everyone whom you know either is destroyed and or conquered by those whom you've been neutral to?

This whole charade between me and the other two nations..i didn't even start the whole damm conflict. I was defending the very sovereignty of My nation and protecting my Allies from an encroaching darkness. Polynesia is willing to not take part of any war..but IT will eventually reach your shores one day without any allies to back you up. You may think of me as an Imperialist State..but i seek not Imperialism, i instead seek those who are willing to extend their hands and stand together in this harsh unforgiving world.

I see myself as a Peacekeeper..but how could i maintain that peace when my Enemies are knocking on my Door? think of the consequences you will receive if you don't act now in order to preserve the very nation you live under.

I just hope to God in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ that they are willing to forgive my sins of keeping Peace through bloodshed.

Even though you follow a different Faith my dear Chieftess..think as to what your Gods and Goddesses would say if you just let your nation slowly let itself be grasped by the very nations around you..how would they forgive you if they see that the people whom serve under you are crushed under the jackboots of another people..with little to no mercy on how they will suffer..

The Chieftess of Polynesia would have finished her piece, on what basically had bordered on a full speech by giving the Svenska-Britannic Emperor a smile, a confident one... She sure must hope that what she has said has left an impression of Charles von Roland, and the whole room and people within it, that no longer will she conform to the views that they have, or what the Americans have.
Or what the Soviets and Xenickese have...

Polynesia has a long, proud history, distinctly unique from the other cultures of the world... It was Malie Lea'ai's ancestors of whom achieved so much in the largest body of water in the planet, riding into the sunsets of the Vasa Tele waters in search of the unknown, leaving what they know and are content with for the sake of exploration, for the simple human drive to see what is unseen...
From Rapa Noi, and potentially South America to Aotearoa, to Hawaii and Palau, when the Europeans with their advanced technologies of Galleons, Compasses and Telescopes eventually chartered their way into the Pacific Ocean, the Polynesians had made their way across all of the tropical Ocean...

The Polynesian people, the ones that had achieved so much had been mercilessly colonized, exploited, even exterminated at some points by the Evil European powers of it's time.
Whilst the rest of the world suffered from the Cataclysm that hit them, the event served as nothing more than liberation for all of Polynesia... Like their old ancestors that had explored the whole ocean, finally Malie Lea'ai's comrades, brothers and sisters could act as a free spirit once more, and charter their own course through the waters known as time...
And by the gods and goddesses in the heavens, Polynesia would not become a European, or American puppet once more... Malie Lea'ai would rather see herself killed and sent to the afterlife than see a day where her people once again fall to outside pressures.

This is the Polynesian Chieftess' confidence... This is her mission, and this 'meeting' with the Anglo-Nordics, the same people whose ancestors had occupied and exploited her lands long before her birth, is her one true test...
One she was adamant now not to fail in.

As Charles von Roland began to reply to what her Gracious Chieftess had said to them, Malie Lea'ai would simply return to the wall, arms crossed as she rests her back against it once more.
The Svenska-Britannic monarch's arrogance in seeing himself as 'The Harbinger of Human Rights and Peace' certainly wasn't winning him any potential friends here, and as the man continued to talk his talk, Malie Lea'ai would count herself amongst the people of which would become turned off...
For here is what esteemed Charles von Roland had to say next:

His Imperial Highness, Charles von Roland

As someone once said amongst the Ancient of Days.. 'Si vis pacem para bellum'.."

Malie Lea'ai would keep this hidden internally, but she could not help but silently laugh some at Charles von Roland... The Svenska-Britannic is in over his head with his belief that he truly thinks he is the best the world has to offer, and from what has been seen from his actions, his behavior... And his flaws in character in general, that is hardly the case...
Malie Lea'ai is not perfect, she would know this... For instance, in many ways, she has learnt that perhaps she is not the woman best suited for politics... In a usual circumstance, she is often rather soft and withdrawn to challenge, either receiving or giving it. And she also knows that her morality is not always the best.
Because, at the end of the day, no matter where you hail from, Malie Lea'ai, and every single other person on the planet is of the same species: The Homo Sapien...

And the species is inherently flawed... A perfect character belongs in books and stories of fantasy, because that is what 'perfection' is, it is fantasy.

The Polynesian Chieftess would appreciate Charles von Roland if he looked in a mirror from time to time, and didn't see himself as the Harbinger to end all of Humanities' suffering. Perhaps it is a little harsh to blame the Svenska-Britannics for the suffering of the world, but truly, every nation is bound to bring upon the world some suffering as, dark as it may seem to say, the universe is built from suffering...
And perhaps that conflict Svenska-Britannia had found itself in with the Soviet Union was inevitable. But that hardly means that doing nothing to attempt to circumnavigate the bloodshed is justifiable...
Charles' reasoning is flawed... As is Malie Lea'ai's at many points. As is Stephanie Cordato's and as is Anatoli Yatskov's. What one must attempt to do is do the best they can for humanity, despite one's own flaws which may cause problems, both minor and major.

And to put it simply... War is not the best one can do for humanity. Because at the end of the day, no matter what ideology one believes in, no matter the nationality, ethnicity, religious background or anything else, when you pull the trigger of a rifle and send a bullet hurtling towards a person, you will ruin that person's day, and in many cases, life even.
And to say that War brings Peace is foolish... Violence only leads to violence. If Charles' logic of thinking was correct, most of Asia and Eastern Europe should have been completely at peace after the Mongol Invasions. Pax Romana should have lasted for as long as the universe.

To say the Chieftess of Polynesia is in disagreement with Charles von Roland is... Well, not only truthful, but perhaps even an understatement.
She would once again stand up, with a professional and serious posture, and would respond:

Chieftess Malie Lea'ai
"Charles von Roland... Please, I do not mean true disrespect when I talk to you, and I hope you understand that.
But I cannot believe that you, and Svenska-Britannia are the World's saving grace... You are not the Harbinger of 'Hope' and 'Peace' that you claim yourself to be, and matter of factly, anyone implying that is out of order.

At the end of the day, we are all flawed in some ways... Because, we are all Human Beings, and we are not a perfect species... I am not perfect, and you will never hear me claim that I am... The Soviets are not perfect, of by the gods and goddesses are they not. The Dominion of America is not perfect, nor is their Supreme Protector. And you, Charles von Roland, and the state of which you run is not perfect either.

How can you justify to yourself or anyone else that to fight with guns and men will bring peace? Violence will always lead to Violence, that is the way of the Earth... That is the way of the Universe. War is a black stain on Humanity's history, Charles...
Because, when you line the sight of your rifle on some poor blighter's chest, even if they are your enemy and most likely wishes to end your life, pulling that trigger is going to ruin somebody's life, and perhaps cut short a young man or woman's life, whom if they'd have still been living, could have gone on to positively impact this world... Perhaps that soldier of which you just domed with a bullet would have gone on to be a scientific genius... The person may have been the next William Shakespeare, may have won Nobel Prizes for their contributions to advancing the Human Species, may have been a leader to overthrow a corrupt regime, could have created some of the best music on Earth or perhaps something else worth as much laud...

But now, because some jackass ruling a nation sent that man or women out as a soldier, onto a battlefield where many would surely die, all with the same potential of going onto become something, or someone truly amazing, all future accomplishments of those people would end alongside their lives.
Is there any plausible way one can justify the evils of warfare? I believe not...

You quoted Ancient Rome when you had spoke to me, your Imperial Majesty... That 'glorious' state had slaughtered it's way through all of Southern Europe, France, England and Wales, the Levant, the Maghreb region and plenty more with their legions, for the sake of their empire... In what the Roman Empire called 'Peacekeeping', they exterminated hundreds of thousands of innocent Celtic People across Gall and Britannia... Where the Roman Legions left a graveyard of a Celtic civilisation, they simply called it 'Restoring Peace'.
Hardly the type of civilisation any country should base itself off looking for Peace and Tranquility, as you claim, your Highness sir von Roland.

All these points, and more which I had mentioned earlier is why I believe you have no right in calling the Union of South Polynesia a state that is willing to see the world burn in oppression... We seek neutrality and peace not only for our own benefit, but to spread a positive message throughout the world, one that is more necessary now than ever before to be heralded...
With the invention of the Atom, both by the Soviet Union, and now your state if I am correct in saying so, not only will war be more and more bloody than ever, with more and more people perishing against each other's arms, but you now have the potential to do what the gods and goddesses had been able to do before, and that is reset civilisation...
Your majesty, I must tell you as bluntly as possible... No matter what reason you give yourself for potential war, and potential future war will spread throughout the whole world, and with the power of the Atom, the whole world, even the neutral countries will feel the terrible impact of this hypothetical conflict.

I implore you to forget your superiority complex, and your belief that you are the arbiter of all that is good on this Earth as soon as possible, and notice that the policy you which to pursue, peace through war will backfire so horrendously that Every. Single. Person on this world will suffer the consequences.
Peace, and War are oxymoron's in literally every way you look at it... What will it take from me, or anyone else for you to recognise that?

I have faith that my Gods and Goddesses will not only be content with the steps I'm taking towards Peace and neutrality from conflict not only as acceptable, but that I will be championed for it...
And they sure as hell will not look kindly upon anyone who uses violence as a means to an end, no matter how much they attempt to justify it.

So please, your imperial highness, Charles von Roland... This is no longer about us... This should not be about Svenska-Britannia's attempt to win South Polynesia over any longer, but the wellbeing of ALL people on this blue planet.
DO NOT pursue war, whatever the cost may be... At the end of the day, no matter how you view the Soviet Union or the Arabians, no matter what you think of the American Mafia 'esque Dominion of America, you must give peace a fair chance... Because if you come into conflict once more with either power, your people will suffer... Potentially, everyone's people will suffer.
And if I was talking to Stephanie Cordato or Anatoli Yatskov instead of you, Charles von Roland, I would be saying exactly the same thing...

I am not sure how you view Polynesia's potential neutrality... Most likely negatively, as you have proven.
But I am confident that I will be doing the best for South Polynesia, and perhaps all of Humanity in my promoting of avoiding warfare.

We are not perfect, Charles von Roland... No human being ever will be... But, what we should be doing no matter what is striving for 'perfection', and in this case, that means the best outcome... And the best outcome is peace, at all costs.
Please think over everything I said. Carefully... Because I feel as if you are not listening properly to the voice of reason... This is something past your own views, if you can treat it that way, humanity will be better for it..."

Malie Lea'ai would look towards the floor as she finishes her second piece... She wants to have confidence that the Svenska-Britannic will listen to her, but the more the man in front of her speaks, the more worried she becomes that this is all for nothing...
At the very least, she will champion what she thinks is best for her, and her people from now on. And if the other people will refuse to listen, she will no longer let that stop her...

This is the time she changed herself into something better now... The Polynesian Chieftess will no longer be weak in the face of adversity, for that has proven to be one of the worst things to do...
In other words:

"The worst thing to do, is to do nothing at all..."

Charles listened and sighed as the Chieftess is steadfast in her opinion that Polynesia will side with neither in this Cold War. He speaks out for possibly the final reply.

"..The ultimate victory of Evil is for Good Men to do nothing..you certainly are keen to see to yourself that Peace can be achieved by doing nothing and becoming steadfast in your own judgement..

But i don't blame you.."

He stood up from his Chair, the rest of the Imperials also standing up.

"I hoped for you to stay safe and protected as humans standing side by side..but sadly you think that it is best to do nothing at all in this matter.."

"If the bombs finally drop upon the world as we know it..don't say i didn't warn you..i pleaded with you in order to keep your nation safe from invasion..but nevertheless you did not take action..

One must do something for better or for worse..but you did the worst by doing nothing at all.."

He walked past the Chieftess, the Diplomats and His wife following after.

Then suddenly he stopped, not even facing her.

"I was about to consider modernizing your military to defend itself..but i guess that option is out the window and into the fire."

"The blood of the World is now on your hands.." He coldly stated out.

Shortly after that, the Monarchs and the Diplomats walked out the Door and headed to their respective Suites. The doors lightly slamming shut soon after..

The Chieftess of Polynesia had learnt during her time in this hotel how unhinged Charles von Roland could be... How stubborn the man in front of him was, willing to cling onto his views to his dying breath... In many a way, the Svenska-Britannic monarch represents some of the worst qualities a Human could have... With extreme pride, undying faith to what he believed was right, in terms of morality, politics, action and the like, and an unhinged personality which can cause instability pretty much wherever, and whatever the man frequents, it was Charles von Roland which had the potential to bring on that unending war...

Perhaps... The Svenska-Britannic royal truly does believe in the best for humanity. But, many a dictator and absolute monarch has claimed throughout their lives as rulers, yet history had seen the likes of Caligula, Genghis Khan, the various rulers of the brutal Umayyad Caliphate, including the Prophet Muhammed. Leopold II, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Enver Pasha just to name a few cruel absolutist people...

And even though Charles von Roland has left distaste in the Polynesian Chieftess' mouth, it would be brutal and cruel to compare him to any of the figures Malie Lea'ai had thought of... But, there is a problem still.
The Svenska-Britannic monarch, unfortunately shares quite a few qualities with every awful man that the Polynesian Chieftess had thought of. So if history can predict the future, and if Charles von Roland decides to refuse to change his ways, even at a slow, moderate pace, the world will be worse off for it...

Her Gracious Chieftess had watched the Svenska-Britannics stand up from their chairs within the room, and make their leave with this to say to finish:

Charles von Roland
"..The ultimate victory of Evil is for Good Men to do nothing..you certainly are keen to see to yourself that Peace can be achieved by doing nothing and becoming steadfast in your own judgement..
But i don't blame you..
I hoped for you to stay safe and protected as humans standing side by side..but sadly you think that it is best to do nothing at all in this matter.. .....
.....
.....
.....

"I was about to consider modernizing your military to defend itself..but i guess that option is out the window and into the fire. The blood of the World is now on your hands.."

The exchange, bitter and perhaps even a little selfish that Charles von Roland had made to the Chieftess of Polynesia before leaving the very room would have easily garnered an evil, cold stare from Malie Lea'ai at them, making little effort to suppress it...
As if the Svenska-Britannic man could not show her that he was stubborn to the very end, unwilling to listen to any reason and instead doing what is equivalent to throwing insults that have little merit and sulking off to his room like a small child being told off by his Mother.

Even more than that rage the Polynesian had seen from before, the very event that caused the weak - at the - time Chieftess of Polynesia to faint at the sight of him, Malie Lea'ai would have seen the true face of the ruler of Svenska-Britannia in those moments...
And to her, there was only one thing that she could say in response to that... Talking to no one, she would have whispered to herself:

Chieftess Malie Lea'ai, of Polynesia
"May our deities take pity on the world for what is to come... The fate is sealed with such men in charge of these powerful countries..."

The Svenska-Britannic monarch had no right to lecture South Polynesia on 'Having the blood of the world on their hands'... For if any war starts, it will be because the Anglo-Nordic country, like they did before, would do nothing to stop an awful conflict from brewing across the world.
Malie Lea'ai would feel personally offended by the accusation that Charles von Roland had given her... She tried to be reasonable, tried to convince the man against causing devastation, but he was the one which would refuse to change.

The Chieftess is not perfect...
But by the Gods and the Goddesses, she tried... And because of that, she wouldn't let the insults get to her, to rub at her mind. For unlike the Svenska-Britannic, she will be the one to give Peace a chance.

And it all comes to be a shame... For Malie Lea'ai had met a few great Anglo-Nordic citizens... Weiss von Schnee was one of them, and so were some of the diplomats within the hotel.
Charles' wife had in addition created a positive impression on her... The same could not be said for Charles von Roland, and that would be putting it quite mildly indeed.

There was one thing that Charles von Roland said that stuck out of her... Because in all of the delusions he uttered, he was right about one thing that he said...

The Truest Evil is to do nothing...
Malie Lea'ai recognises this... And now, she would need to take action against the warmongers which would seek to bring unending war to the beautiful planet, no matter what justification they would use. If anything, she would need to take the pressure of being the arbiter of Peace and Human Decency that Charles von Roland had claimed to be, for she was not sure if anyone else would take the reins.

Not only for the future of South Polynesia... But for the future of the entire world...

...
...
...

Finally, after minutes upon minutes of pondering, she would march out of the now empty room.
She would head down to the Ground Floor, and to the closest receptionist in the admissions room... She would request urgent access to a room with a Long Range Transmitter, and convince them to patrol the whole area for potential spies, and would begin drafting her dispatch to the world...

It was time to harbor a change, for the better...

As the Imperial Monarchs sat at the Chairs inside their Suites, a single thought came unto their minds.

'Is peace ever going to be achieved?'

The thought ran across their minds over and over..

Charles looked at the Window of the suite, admiring the view of the Trenakan/German Countryside. The ticks and tocks of the Grandfather clock just next to him filled the silence.

Then finally..he made his Decision.

"We're leaving..." He said aloud, his voice breaking the silence.

"Darling!" Grace nearly shrieked.

"You can't be serious!??!" She followed up after.

"Yes i am Serious..this so called 'Peace Conference' has been nothing but a damm political mistake from the Very beginning.."

"But..but what about all the Chances we could get at gaining this Peace!?" She pleaded.

"How the hell can there be Peace when our Enemies are ready to strike with any strategem or RUSE they could use?!
They can attack us with either their Military or their Ideologies!"

"..I'll let the Imperial Diplomat that comforted the Chieftess become our representative here if this Peace Conference is to ever stand a chance..but us? We're leaving.." He stood up before opening the Door.

The Livgardet then started packing up the personal Belongings of the Monarchs.

Meanwhile the Imperial Diplomats were wondering what the commotion was about only to see that the Monarch has packed his stuff and prepared to leave.

"You!" Charles pointed to the 'Imperial Diplomat'

"Yes your Majesty?"

"You will become the Representative in the Peace Conference..im done staying here.."

"But your Majesty! What about our Chances of Peace?!" He pleaded.

"There is no peace when your Enemies surround you on all sides..as for the Rest of you, let's head out!" He gave out the order.

Without much hesitation, the rest of the Diplomats scurried along with the Monarch and headed outside the Hotel..

The Limousines was already waiting for the Monarchs & Diplomats and they started boarding up.

Few moments later, the Limo's sped off back to the International Airport.

Meanwhile..

'Valery Sablin' Imperial Diplomat that remained wondered as how could he be the One to represent the United Imperium in the Peace Conference..

"God have mercy upon my Poor Soul.." Valery muttered.
