Statement from the Office of President of the United States
"The events which transpired in New Orleans were unjust, uncalled for, and tragic. My condolences have been sent to the family of the deceased negro as well as to the injured parties. I end this statement with a simple quote, 'A house divided against itself, shall not stand' and I as an elected official and as a private citizen will make sure equality and the divisiveness of our country will be cured within the next administration, with whatever power I have left. I urge Congress to pass legislation in response to the Protest-Riot-Massacre or whatever other names you may have for it. Thank you, and God Bless."
