Honestly this is just going to be Sharp and Davis throwing shit at each other until one of them gets tired.
He's framing it around "defending the constitution" while at the same time wanting to introduce legislation that will repeal several constitutional amendments.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Large Interviews, official interviews, and things like that MUST be done via TG with another player and if the character is an important one, such as President or Candidate for President, then the interview MUST be done by an OP. No interviewing yourself. Small interviews (a question or two) can be done by that player, but any longer must be done by another player.

I could take Senator Boone, but I don’t know how much I’d be able to put into the character. At the moment I’m focusing most of my effort on the Governor, and my current schedule for work probably wouldn’t give me a ton of time to devote to Boone.

If someone else wants him who can be more dedicated to the role, I’d welcome them to take the character. Otherwise, either I could run him or those in charge could determine a means of writing him off respectfully, since he’s clearly a pretty significant figure here early in the race, and it would be out of character for him to just abandon his ambitions and drop out.

It was actually a good bit of Eisenhower's speech, with changes adjusted to our timeline. I wanted to hurry up to get the SOTU done so people could move the date, things have been semi hectic irl so I didn't really have that much time to make a full-on original speech XDDD. I can assure you all though, the 1960 one will definitely be original because your characters will most likely change the country a lot!
