not really a loss honestly, this sort of civil rights legislation is a bit of a joke until voting rights are secured.

You can table it like Broussard has been suggesting, and that basically kills it unless someone brings it up again.

Just so you know, I'm not going to pass that motion until other players have seen it and have had an option on whether to object to it or not.

Only things that have passed the house are things sofia is against, so really she could care less if sharp intends to be obstructive.

Sofia has no congressional authority, and could possibly get in trouble for speaking to Senate Leadership like that, whether it is her leadership or not.

On the basis of what? Come on now, at least try.

There's less consequences for being opposed to a section, without trying to amend it, than there is for pointing out that behavior?

Not going to dignify that.

Sofia is not in Party Leadership, she cannot dish out consequences, plus Boone isn't from Sofia's party, so I really don't know what her punishments will be, lmao.

I mean the implied punishment is campaigning against him politics is just more than what happens in the legislature, after all.

Well if either of the Frasers campaigns against Boone, it won't really hurt him too much, since we are in the primary's and I doubt Boones base would listen to the frasers anyway.

Can we see the equity tax amendment again in the House please? I don't wanna go all the way back nine pages to find it. Just like a /bump.

Well the primary goal is working to get liberal and moderate democrats to defect to the republican party anyhow. The more the dems obstruct, the more KDS will focus on that goal.

Speaking of Kate Shelly and those folks, who gave you permission to start that? It would be nice if the OP's were consulted before major organizations are started.

I mean I explicitly mentioned that I had an organization to announce pages and pages back in the OOC and wasn't told that I couldn't do it at the time, particularly since it's not like this is the first organization.

I feel that you have a problem with me doing pretty much anything.

Literally the entire reason that decision was made because the official article said public support was 50/50 and that the Vietnam issue had polled high, considering that going into an anti-war direction would appease some demographics and differentiate from the rest of the candidates I thought why not - no one else was doing it and it would bring some risk (something RPs might need once while, to like be fun and shit)

I’m gonna meta game a pipe bomb in Sofia’s car

lmao it's absolute not my ooc political views, I'd put the percentage of my actual views that I'm RPing at 20% and that's a stretch. Obviously the Vietnam war is the complete waste of time, but publicly pointing that out in the mid 60s as a high level politician was hard, nevermind in an alt history where the war starts fresh off McCarthyism.

anyhow, the senate has been stuck in questioning for awhile now

I mean I can do specific speech posts, I have 3 speech concepts and an organization to form. but it's not like I've done quite a bit of IC since announcing a run and Bradford had like 43% in the polls with basically no campaigning in the first round of polls, lol.

Yea... that could have easily been over looked.

Before making an Organization, please explicitly state that you wish to do so, and ask permission, OR better yet, you could even create an application for one.
