Alright so I know that I haven't been posting at all. Sorry about that. I don't think I'm gonna run for President. Unfortunately, I seem too easily distracted to be able to mount any successful run. I'll still participate and act as an op though.

Don't forget! Broussard is up for an interview and Davis is up for an interview with that new magazine.

Well Sharp is definitely getting primaried.

all because he called Boone a communist because he liked the New Deal.

Well so much for that alliance with him, guess Sharp will just focus on his senate run and slamming Boone at every opportunity in presidential campaign trips.

If Sharp doesn’t wise up, Boone’s going to try to flick him off the end of the polling list. Which wasn’t planned, but given how egotistical and scheming Boone is, when you put him next to someone as bumbling and brazen as Sharp, they’re just bound to implode. This ought to be interesting...

Sure, it gives Liberal Democrats leverage to call Jackson a segregationist.

I did. Jackson would be most interested in working with you to pass tax cuts, once he becomes President.

Also, once Jackson becomes President, he will form a bipartisan committee to find an acceptable to all solution to civil rights. Brown and Sharp might be members, trying to bridge the divide. :p

Sharp would only back Jackson if he openly supports segregation, either that or if Sharp is pissed off at Boone enough to spite him. The two conditions for any political endorsement from Sharp:
1. you have to support state's right to segregation
2. You have to be an enemy of both the New Deal and Senator Boone.

Oh boy. Sharp's going to keep trying to wave the flag of dixie, hoping that Boone dosen't snatch the flag of white supremacy away from him. Though I thought for sure Boone would look at my campaign and mock the " federal stockpile of chicken soup and sprite" policy with the healthcare. Maybe he or Fredricks can bitch about it.

Also can someone get Sharp's nightmare fuel (Karl Fredricks) into this race already? The campaign might even rethink the presidential path, though Sharp won't want to hear it. He'll argue he can both run for President, hammer away at the "commie boone" while promoting his work in the Senate and pointing out to the small moments within his Office with the old couple as ways that "He gives a damn about the state of Mississippi".

Though Sharp will then be put under a boat load of pressure trying to balance trips to Washington for senate business, trips on the campaign trail throughout the Deep South and trips to Mississippi to stave off a threat to his Senate seat.

Yes! I think he addresses some of the inter-party divide quite well, and moderately supports Republican efforts to the right degree that it isn’t pandering. I’m interested to see who—if anyone, he endorses given his disapproval of Ladhe’s Vietnam stance. He clearly won’t support Sharp, and Boone is probably too conniving for his liking as well, even if his economics are in the right corner.

am I supposed to pretend that trying to stack the audience was an obvious move and totally not the entire reason Sofia so easily offered for the Fraser campaign to pay for the whole thing and come up with mutually agreeable details? Not like a campaign that's gone this hard on civil rights would accept anything less than around quarter black attendance to match the state population.

Also, Segregation is still in effect so that many black people wouldn't be allowed.
