A Hab unit in this case is Basically a ready-to-build city, it can easily fit 25,000 people

Kind of interesting to note, not only do our factions all have divergent social philosophies, they also have different ship-naming schemes.

G-Tech is clearly going after values (kind of like RL NASA... Curiosity, Voyager, etc.), albeit slanted quite martial. New Yugoslavia is working off Greek mythology. Hard to draw generalisations from Ralnis' two revealed names, but I think he's going for a Caribbean piracy theme? And of course, my humble Nessies have a great people theme.

Wonder what Mercatus will come up with. :p

Just so, just so. Don't fix what isn't broken, and it builds on existing RL themes which the UN would probably approve of seeing extended into the stars. I have no intention of my corporation tangoing with Earth's resident dictatorship of the proletariat until we're nicely established.

It's 2060, move on with the times, embrace non-ideological authoritarianism. ;) There's us, and people like us, and a vaguely-defined bunch of "them" by which people like us are always surrounded and threatened, and that's all you really need for purposes of governance. All you're doing by trying to clarify how "we" are different from "them" is raising pointless arguments from people who disagree with how you're defining "us". Just leave it open-ended and let the ignorant masses draw whatever implications they want.
