BTW, in this TL China is democratic, pro-US and has developed security ties with Japan (as China and Japan are both Western-oriented and face the Russian threat), so let's not get too antagonistic. It would help not to have aggressive posture.

As long as China accepts the Senkaku Islands to be Japanese, there will be no problem. As long as Korea accepts the Takeshima Islands to be Japanese, there will be no problem there either, so Japan will just focus on the Russian threat.
