Also, out of curiosity, who is loyal and who is a traitor so far?

This should be an accurate division, although it doesn't cover possible loyalists or traitors within legions.

So far IC only three legions have openly turned traitor: the Steel Men, Brazen Beasts, and Sons of Heaven. We are moving to a timeskip about a month forward from the Betrayal at Taracanis so that the Apostasy will be known, and more legions can start making their moves.

Name: Titus Sigilis
Alias: The Hound
Appearance:
Titus' Armor

Titus' Face
Image

Legion: 6th
Rank and Titles: Captain, Master of the Guard
Personality: Loyal to Ravadiana above all else, he is her constant companion. Though he plays a smaller part than other officers in the strategic affairs of the Legion, he is often relied on for a more humble and compassionate perspective than those offered by her more battle-hardened Commanders.
Backstory: Brought into the world well after Ravadiana pacified Styx and brought it into the Imperium, young Titus was raised in an orphanage. His parents had died when he was only three in an industrial accident and like all orphans on Styx, on his eighth birthday, he was brought to The Hierophants to see if he was a possible fit for recruitment. Though nothing in the creation of an Astartes is ever certain until the day it's over, the Serf's who ran the testing station believed Titus to be a good candidate and took him in. Leaving wasn't easy, the Orphanage was all Titus had ever known, but the future held a promise of something even greater, a chance to be one of the armored Angels that he and his friends could sometimes steal a glance at.

Titus soon found himself at the Legion's fortress, The Citadel. From his first day, Titus was measured against the others and every day thereafter was a struggle. Though far less brutal than many other Legions, the years of training were grueling. Daily marches, exercise regimes that would make grown men wince, and constant coursework quickly became the norm for young Titus. The Prospects had the weight of the world on their shoulders and their trainers dared them every day to collapse under the weight. But Titus never did, spurred on by the occasional visits from Astartes who even his trainers bowed to. They would check in on him from time to time in personal sessions to assess his abilities. Aside from their commands, they answered no questions and left as quickly as they arrived. The attention, however, was hardly a blessing. His fellow Prospects seemed to view him with both suspicion and disdain, in a world of conformity, he was another and even Titus' trainers seemed to treat him more harshly than the others. But he overcame it all. In runs he was at the head of the pack, he made sure he could lift more and march further than his peers. He was a better shot than most and in close combat drills, he fought harder than anyone else. By the time he was far enough along to receive his Black Carapace, few could say he hadn't earned his place.

His time after training was a blur to him. His armor and bolter were new, each detailed with his name. He often found himself fighting directly under the Primarch herself, and often he could swear that in the heat of battle, she took an interest in him. He kept his thoughts to himself, after all, he was just one of many, but it was hard to shake the feeling. He spent many years on campaign and served with a minor amount of distinction, until one day he was called before the Primarch herself. Ravadiana had been watching him since he had first been recruited as a prospect so long ago. What had called out to her, she wasn't sure, but she knew that something was bringing the two of them together. She discussed his accolades and achievements, and in the end offered him a place few Hierophants ever dreamed they could hold: her personal guard.

Since that day Titus has served her as guard, companion, confidant, and emissary; Titus has taken it on himself to manage her servants, protect her person on the battlefield, and whatever else she might command; even privy to the Legion's most tightly guarded secrets.
War Gear:
Queen's Mercy
A masterwork power sword gifted to Titus by Ravadiana herself when she offered him a position as her personal guard.
Vaguely a pessimist, certainly an absurdist, unironically an antinatalist.

The Commander
Name: Leonardo de la Venganza

Alias: Fortress

Age: 102

Appearance:
Image

Organization Character Belongs to: Imperial Army/24th Gentium Guards Heavy Tank Regiment

Rank and Titles: Colonel | Regiment Marshal

Personality: Calm, Candid

Backstory:
Leonardo de la Venganza was originally born in the world of Nuevo Borealis, the agri-world of the Gentium sub-sector in Beta-Garmon. For most of his youth he had been trained in the ways of agricultural life, however unlike most agri-worlds in the Imperium, Nuevo Borealis was neither a feudal world, nor a technologically inept world, but instead was almost the exact opposite with near automated farming methods. For most of his life, Leonardo was a tractor farmer, his personal favorite being the new tractors that came from the Terran hive city of Addaba, seemingly refined and reliable. However at the age of 20, the Primarch Aleksandr Zorkastanov had announced the need for new regiments to be raised for the Imperial Army. Deciding to one up the system, Leonardo signed up to become a member of the II Legion; while he passed the initial first half of the training, primarily the educational part of the training, however failed the physical aspect of the entrance exam only by a hair. The Guardian Captain in charge of the training of inductees had recommended him to the University of Gentium’s Institute of Defense Studies.

For four years he learned how to lead formations and command others, to inspire fear and leadership in others. His specialization however was for armored warfare. Soon enough he graduated and was assigned as a lieutenant in the then 24th Heavy Tank Regiment. For over 80 years they had participated in numerous battles especially in the Halo Stars system. However they first earned their Gentium People’s Citation star in the Rangdan Xeoncide, where their role, despite suffering heavy casualties, their role was originally to pound the enemy fortifications to dust, however against a foe near equal to Imperial and Mechanicum technology, their tactics soon changed to striking at the weakest spots instead and breaking an opening for the rest of the Imperial forces to exploit. This was also how Leonardo would earn the respect of the entire unit, when he had used his Baneblade, the Swift Justice as a distraction to draw fire from the Xenos forces; running on a skeleton crew they had charges one of the gun lines to allow for the others to acquire targetting solutions on the enemy positions. The results ended in a fight with lesser casualties than intended, and one Baneblade beyond repair. When he was found, him and the skeleton crew were covered in shrapnel wounds, with holes found all over the front of the war machine, some speculating that the entire lower glacis plate having been missing by the time medicae teams arrived.

Their most notable fight however was on Ullanor, whereupon fighting to the eastern flank of the II Legion, their kinsmen, had held an important mountain pass from Ork retaliation. While in propaganda, they stopped the greenskin threat by sheer skill, in reality the pass was littered with the wrecks of the tanks of the 24th, creating an obstacle course for Orks and funneling the enemy further to destroy them. By the time Leonardo witnessed the Emperor leave for Terra, he was but a Major, a Vice Regiment Marshal by local rank. In the entirety of Ullanor, the 24th gained the prestige of being called a Guards unit, and the right to carry the laurel and globe on their gear, there are even debates as to the unit being able to carry the red banner of the Imperium as well. However, a few decades after, their service was oer and sent back home. But due to recent happenings, they have been reactivated and re-armed with a large chunk of Baneblades and its other variants home to the industrial world of Skogur Oblast. As their old Colonel, or Regiment Marshal was now too old to lead, command had fallen to Leonardo instead.

Skills and Experience/Career Summary: Macro level command, Vehicle Urban Warfare, Siegebreaking, Formation Harassment, Long Range Combat

The Primarch
Name: Erik Matras
Alias: The Underdragon
Appearance:
Image

Archetype: Siege Master
Personality: Erik Matras is a straightforward and honest Primarch, speaking not even a white lie to make others feel better. Erik is known to be eerily calm, no matter what. Even his Legionnaires and Captains have found it to be extremely unsettling.
Backstory: Erik Matras was deposited on the civilized world of Halkiyon Primaris, which had managed to survive, and even thrive in the middle of Age of Strife, keeping in contact with other worlds in its solar system. It had formed somewhat of a coherent state in the system, known as the Halkiyon Unity. Erik himself crash landed within a mountain range somewhere on the planet’s northernmost continent. His pod was spotted by orbital satellites as well as onlookers in the city built on top of the mountain he crashed in, which prompted the Halikyonites to send search parties to the crash parties. There, they found an infant primarch, though they did not know what he was. The Halkiyonites simply assumed that he was just some other child that was sent away from a doomed starship from one of their neighbouring planets, and was adopted by a wealthy but infertile couple in the planet’s capital city, Khalkov. They gave him the name Erik Matras, which he carries to this day. He would, over the course of one and a half centuries, rise into prominence in the politics of the Unity, eventually uniting the solar system as truly one nation. In these years, he fought insurgents on the surfaces of dead moons, sweltering deserts, and even in the depths of the sea. In all of these battles, he fought with the aid of an certain invention of the Ice Worlders of Siveristok; the Underminer, which dug deep into the earth and burst out of the ground right into the middle of enemy forces, sowing chaos as the rest of his armies swept through.

A few years after the consolidation of the Unity, the Emperor came to the Halkiyon System, and the Unity was quickly integrated into the Imperium. Somehow, Erik Matras always knew that the Emperor was coming, and welcomed the Custodes and their liege unto his world, pledging their loyalty for all time. He was given command to the Star Dragons, the legion that were his sons...

War Gear: The Shatterer, a warhammer with the power to split asunder the ground which it had struck.

Underdragons
Numeration: XVI
Primogenitor: Erik Matras
Noteworthy Domains: The former Halkiyon Unity, composed of six worlds.
- Halkiyon Primaris (Homeworld)
- Atlakis (Ocean World, filled with underwater settlements)
- Varzawa (Civilized World)
- Siveristok (Ice World)
- Peskamir (Desert World)
- Zelenyyslev (Agri-World)

Combat Doctrine: Subterranean Sneak Attacks, Besieging
Appearance:
Image

Origins and History: Just like the other Legions, the Underdragons (First known as the Underseekers) were first recruited from Terra, and aided the Emperor in the Great Crusade. They had fairly stable geneseed, and thus were able to prove themselves in many battles and fronts in the Crusade. They didn’t seem to really stand out from the other Legions, though. They were, in many ways, bland. That is, until their Primarch, Erik Matras, was rediscovered and given back to them. They were thus renamed the Underdragons, after one of the native beasts of Halkiyon Primaris, which both dug tunnels into the ground and soared into the skies. Thus was their duality.

With their Primarch’s arrival came an influx of recruits from the Halkiyonites. Some of them came from underwater cities, others came from deserts of ice, or of sand. Still others came from affluent cities; a far cry from the hardy techno-barbarians from which the Terran Star Dragons hailed from. However, for those Halkiyonites that came from harsher environments, the Terrans had some measure of respect for them, and rightly so. They would all be known as the dirtiest fighters of the Legions, not because they committed unspeakable crimes of war, but because they often struck from underneath. If a city’s shields, if it had any, didn’t extend underground, it was a prime target for the Underdragons.

Legion Organization and Structure: There are 100,000 Underdragons, divided into five chapters of twenty thousand a piece.

Legion Command Hierarchy:
Primarch
Chapter Masters
Company Captains
Company Sergeants
Marines

Specialist Formations:

Underminer Attendants: Marines in Terminator armor that are highly used to fight in claustrophobic environments, they are often the ones that are deployed out of the Underminer vehicles. They are independent warriors, and could fight without support for a long time.

Legion Wargear: Nothing noteworthy; they do not have anything special in terms of wargear.

Legion Vehicles:
Underminers; ten meter long capillaric vehicles first built on Siveristok, all armed with a massive drill and melta charges that allow them to dig tunnels right under enemy fortifications, as well as a set of flak cannons for self defense. It can then either disgorge a group of marines after bursting out of the ground, or plant explosives in the tunnel walls. More effective when moving in ice and sand.

Dragon Engines; mechanical flight capable quadrapedal walkers around four meters tall made in the likeness of a dragon. These are meant to slam into enemy fortifications by diving in from the sky, spouting great amounts of promethium as they come before opening fire with flak turrets and plasma weapons, enduring enemy attacks in turn with its shields and armor. It is a shock weapon to distract the enemy from the presence of incoming Underminers, and is not meant for drawn out confrontation.

Legion Fleet: The Legion Fleet is composed of five hundred fifteen warships, headed by a Gloriana Class Battleship.

The rest of the fleet is composed of:
5 Emperor Class Battleships
10 Oberon Class Battleships

50 Gladius Class Cruisers
25 Indrajit Class Cruisers
75 Eclipse Class Light Cruisers

200 Cobra Class Destroyers
150 Sword Class Frigates

Legion Relics: The Shatterer; it is a mighty warhammer wielded by the Primarch Erik Matras, strong enough to split the ground asunder to swallow up a tank.

Just to note you'll be replacing the XIXth Legion and Primarch, so that'll be your number instead of the XVIth. I'd also recommend you join the Discord, we do a lot of our planning and discussion there.
