Individual aid, which has bipartisan support, will be included in the rescue plan, as will aid to ensure that businesses remain solvent and that key sectors do not fall into dereliction." She answered the first part of the question, before continuing. "We've engaged in fruitful discussions with both the President and the Majority Leader. In particular, I welcome the Majority Leader's acknowledgement that fiscal conservatism isn't going to meet the challenge. Democrats intend to continue with honing and putting forward our plan to insulate the United States against another economic crisis, and we hope that the GOP will be on board with us by the time anything comes to a vote."

"Well, everyone wants universal employment, Bill, and a broken clock can be wrong twice a day, but the devil's in the detail and I more than expect that any plan coming from the far right is going to be laden with loopholes, tax benefits for the rich, and so on. I'll state as I always state that a Democratic administration would be the greater ally in the cause of insulating America from another downturn. Serious policy errors have contributed to America's vulnerability to economic shock, as I've always maintained. A Porter Administration would doubtlessly follow and imitate President Wolf's Administration in burning long term stability for short term gains."

Tristian travels by car to Richardson's HQ in georgria. Tirstian wondered in his head why Porter's Oppenenet wanted to meet with him... was it a bribe, an offer, something to change his mind? Tirstain only dreamed and thought of what could happen.

If people need immediate aid, only sending money to states is probably one of the less efficient ways to immediately get more cash in people's hands. I agree with you, we probably aren't going to hammer out a deal including big new federal programs, as needed as some might be. But something as simple as a guaranteed additional $600 per week to every unemployed person? To me it seems fairly obvious that would be an easier, more direct way of providing immediate aid."

“Well, at the moment it isn’t anything major. However, I’d like to develop a bipartisan response between the Governor’s Mansion and the Kansas Legislature that will mitigate any impact that the economic crisis might have on our state, as well as any potential policies and legislation that could be developed at a federal level that will support us in doing so.” Jennifer said before taking a sip of water.

Kim grunted, shuffling her papers. "I still know people in the state Senate, I can do some arm-twisting if need be. Some of them are probably still scared of me. Unfortunately, on the Federal level, members of the GOP Senate caucus have been asked to refrain from introducing or cosponsoring any legislation without explicit approval from Warrick, Frankston, or Volker. And Frankston hates my guts..." she mumbled, thinking.

"But at the state level, I'd support--if necessitated by the crisis--a freeze on state tax payments for individuals, a rent and eviction moratorium, maybe tax benefits for employers that expand their employment? I'm spitballing, we don't have enough specifics yet unfortunately."

Jennifer nodded along as Kimberley spoke before replying.

“Of course, I would just need for you to use your position as a former Lieutenant Governor and your tenure in the state Senate to ensure that we can pass any legislation that we need through the legislature as smoothly as we can.” Jennifer said before taking another sip of water.

Sec. 1 - Amendment

1. Section 525.105 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes shall be Amended to read:
   

   '(1) A person is guilty of desecration of venerated objects in the first degree when, other than authorized by law, he intentionally excavates or disinters human remains for the purpose of commercial sale or exploitation of the remains themselves or of objects buried contemporaneously with the remains.
   
   (2) Desecration of venerated objects in the first degree is a Class A felony.'

2. Section 525.110 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes shall be Amended to read:
   

   '(1) A person is guilty of desecration of venerated objects in the second degree when he intentionally:
   (a) Desecrates any public monument or object or place of worship; or
   (b) Desecrates in a public place the national or state flag or other patriotic or religious symbol which is an object of veneration by the public or a substantial segment thereof.
   (2) Desecration of venerated objects in the second degree is a Class B felony.'

Sec. 2 - Short Title
The Short Title of this bill under the laws of the Commonwealth shall be the 'Desecration Act.'

Richardson’s day started early in the area around Fort Benning where he joined Chip Renfus in talking to veterans and military families about how the Richardson administration could benefit them while listening to their concerns, they were joined in this by Arnold Wolf Jr who helped appeal to more Wolfist voters. After hitting the suburbs around Fort Benning and the small businesses it helped support Richardson hit suburban areas around Columbus Technical College where he was able to speak at length about his support for technical colleges and supporting people working in high demand fields which would boost the economy in towns like this one. While Chip stayed around Fort Benning, Richardson and Wolf Jr hit the suburbs of Columbus focusing on the area around WC Bradly Co where Wolf Jr boosted Richardson industrial plans. They also visited the retail areas around the Peachtree shopping mall where Richardson focused on his bread and butter small business retail politics. After a full day of campaigning Richardson and Wolf held a joint rally.

The day of the Debate Richardson attended early morning church in Macon County Georgia, doing his traditional meet and greet. After that he headed back into debate camp doing some last minute review and practice for that night’s debate. After the review he took some downtime and played a pickup basketball game with staff and took a nap, saving his mental energies for perhaps the most important debate this campaign. Arnold Wolf Jr spent the day knocking on doors in Macon during the preparation

Richardson’s final day before the Georgia primary was spent in the Savannah Suburbs. He began with an early small group meeting with African American faith leaders, mostly listening and asking thoughtful, respectful questions about how to support the community and then hit regular retail campaigning alongside Wolf Jr. Richardson and Wolf teamed up to speak about trade and manufacturing across the country as Savannah was a major site for both. He spoke frequently about his plans regarding the recession and how to put money in the pockets of working families while protecting jobs. He came off as confident, in control, but certainly realistic about the challenges ahead, making sure to show empathy and offer encouragement to people all over the county. After a full day of campaigning Richardson held one last Georgia rally.

Richardson started the day with a miniature rally of sorts, rallying his volunteers and activists as they got out the vote. In the suburbs all across Georgia thousands of Richardson staff and volunteers combed the streets for voters and watched the polls for trouble, ready to film and report any voter intimidation occurring. Richardson went door to door, businesses, homes, diners, and everywhere people were, asking citizens to turnout. As was his custom he spent 2 hours driving a van full of people to the polls which was a great photo op. Georgia would be close, and Richardson would do everything in his power to win it.

In addition to this, my husband and I are launching a new Charity initiative called "Kentucky Covered" which will seek to provide financial aid to those in Kentucky who have lost their health insurance during the recession. "I can do that, I'll want to review the plans and legislation beforehand but any chance I get to smack around some legislators I'll take," she joked, before checking her watch. "Ah shit. One sec."

Kim rifled through her purse for a second before taking out a pill bottle and quickly popping one in her mouth. She washed the lithium down with Pepsi and drummed her fingers on the desk. "Other than that...roads in Kansas are falling apart. It couldn't hurt anybody to expand KSDOT repairs, get more people working, benefit everyone."
