Tristan sees nothing because he was told to go to South Georgia.

"It's certainly good to see you today. Take a seat." He continued, reclining on his large black chair designed to fit his tall and muscular frame.

Tristian laughs and smiles, his hands crossed neatly.
“Now what is your ideal vision of America? I want to know what I’m supporting before I help you with your campaign.”

"I'll admit, I don't know much about you, but I like your work on the child predator and with those videos...They're the true mark of a patriot, bringing a man to justice like that and putting order and law above blatant profit. I think you'll find yourself in a very good position indeed, and could make a good ally even if I lose. After all, I am pretty much leading half of the party now, and I think I could assist you in any...further ambitions."

After Warrick concluded, Volker spoke.

“On the subject of a Payroll Tax Holiday, Mr President. I’ve written a bipartisan bill that would authorise such a measure. I have also brought copies of the bill for each person here to look over and scrutinise.” Volker said, placing six copies of the bill in the centre of the table, keeping one for himself.

We can't leave this up to states to figure out; we don't know how bad unemployment is going to get, but it could well equal 2008 levels and in that case we need to have a firm federal system in place."

"I understand that, Senator. But we're already on the brink of recession, it's coming. If people need immediate aid, only sending money to states is probably one of the less efficient ways to immediately get more cash in people's hands. I agree with you, we probably aren't going to hammer out a deal including big new federal programs, as needed as some might be. But something as simple as a guaranteed additional $600 per week to every unemployed person? To me it seems fairly obvious that would be an easier, more direct way of providing immediate aid."

He walked to the door of the governor's mansion and knocked, pretty loudly, and when the door was answered, he loudly proclaimed,

It is clear that a recession is looming, and we all need to do our part to protect our livelihoods in the wake of America's new economic woes. The federal government needs to act swiftly to deliver a nationwide plan for relief and recovery, and it needs to be bipartisan and smart.

"I know that feeling." The Governor's smile faded a bit as he sat down. "Things haven't been quite as peachy on my end. The incoming recession means pretty much everything is being kicked into high gear. Lots of activity going on. We've got a Republican legislature, so it won't be too difficult to get something passed, but, y'know, this whole thing could've waited a year or two for me to get situated. Rather rude of it to start the moment I get into office." He chuckled, obviously speaking in jest.

"Regardless, we're getting a plan together at a good pace, so hopefully we'll be able to keep the economy from collapsing into a void. Anyways, would you like anything to drink?"
