My grandfather died for this country in the First World War, to protect our rights and protect our country. I never was able to meet my grandfather, but Bernard Porter now brings shame on folks like him. Folks who provided an oath, a promise, and a vow to protect our country before and after their military service. Bernard Porter's death and the events that transpired are a clear and obvious violation of that oath and vow.

NEWS: While the actions of Bernard Porter were disgusting and evil, and while a proper investigation should be opened into those who may have assisted in the planning of his violent deeds, the unilateral and extrajudicial actions of Governor Jack Chambers clearly and alarmingly violate the rights of numerous people and organizations within the state of Nebraska. We are filing several suits against the governor imminently.

Jack Chambers is taking STRONG ACTION against the radicalism and terrorism of Bernard Porter. We need more leaders like him!

In these times of confusion, worry, and lawlessness, we need STRONG LEADERS who will stand up for us. Nate Richardson, Jack Chambers, John Holland, Dawson Abernathy, and Jennifer Marshall are the governors we need.

Now is the time to STAND TOGETHER against the tides of RADICALISM and LAWLESSNESS sweeping our nation!

I would distance myself from governor Chambers, I agree we need firm action, but Chambers violated the first amendment. He (through executive action none the less) arrested people who could very well be innocent without due process and took action against political action committees and even churches. I strongly urge you to reconsider your tweet.

In death Bernard Porter is still capable of provoking fear and division, still capable of convincing us to give up our rights and principles in the name of expediency or to try and seek justice. We must not let fear turn us into what we seek to fight.

Ohio Attorney General
Jack Vichter (D-OH)

The Presser
June 4, 2020

Jack Vichter had spent the preceding four days doing one of two things, being in collaborative bill drafting sessions discussing policing reform, or joining peaceful demonstrators in Columbus, Akron or Cleveland. In Columbus, he also attended a vigil for the police officer who'd lost their life and met with the family. He discussed what they wanted to see happen, and after expressing his sympathy and condolences, would be whisked away for his more regular schedule. On June 4, 2020; he was prepared to announce to the assembled press...

He delivered his statement with extreme calm and paced his rate of speaking.

Good evening, before I begin, I will ask for a minute of silence to show our respect for the sacrifice of the ATF Agents in Georgia, and Officer [their name] in Columbus.

1 minute later

Agents Patterson, Lenard, Adams, Clark and Smathers served our nation, it's people, it's ideals. The barbarity of the domestic terrorism which has taken place in Georgia, is senseless. I condemn the late Bernard Porter's actions and am disgusted to think of how close he came to being the leader of our nation.

He had a brief pause.

Here at home, Ohioans have felt the loss of those who put themselves on the line as well. In Columbus, Officer [their name] was killed by a mob of unruly assailants. Their actions have earned them the attention of the Columbus Police who apprehended two suspects late last night. While I recognize that the vast majority of demonstrations across this state have been peaceful. The killing of a police officer, in the line of duty no less, is an unconscionable act.

He paused for a moment to process his own words.

The law of our state empowers the Attorney General to directly prosecute individuals within this state, in place of county prosecutors, at the direction of the Governor. I have today received this letter, and have accordingly begun the procedure to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, those we have apprehended for the killing of Officer [their name].

I am not at liberty to discuss the case itself further, but I intend to obtain justice for the family of [the officer's family], it is the least our state can do.

He glanced around the group.

Some weeks ago, I announced that my office would undertake a top-down review of how our corrections department works. While that review continues, I join local and community leaders who call for reforming our police departments as well. Our procedures are clearly not working for many of the members of our community, that police officers swear to serve and protect. My office will support local efforts to reform police departments, and will be working with state legislators, the Governor and other policymakers to create bipartisan policy solutions that address community concerns.

Together we will weather this storm, and the next. I'll take your questions.

Jillian Dayton (D-VA)
Campaign Schudule: June 2nd to June 4th, 2020

Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2020
    Location: Atlanta and Suburbs, Georgia
Time Spent: 4 Hours Roundtable Meetings, 1 Hour Hospital Visit, 2 Hours Meeting with Small Businesses, 2.5 Hour Town Hall, 1 Hour Candlelight vigil
Description: Flying from Wichita where she was the night before, Jillian spent the bulk of the day in roundtable after roundtable, hosted by local leaders on the issues that confronted the city now. She spent the bulk of it listening, hearing experiences and offering little input other than encouragement to keep talking. She surmised with a statement of solidarity she delivered with heartfelt sympathy. At the hospital she spoke to the victims of the stampede, she had reportedly been late to the party of bailing out the Majority Whip, much to her frustration. No matter, she had organized to support the bail fund of the peaceful protesters personally and discreetly. In the hospital itself, she spent much of the time talking to individual patients. She spoke with nurses too, but spent most of the hour with individual patients. She also spent two hours with small businesses and small business staff, specifically those impacted by the fire in Atlanta. She concluded the evening with a town hall in central Atlanta, tickets made available to all of Fulton and DeKalb counties. She ended the night with a candlelight vigil for the fallen ATF soldiers in Atlanta. Shortly after the town hall she delivered a short statement to the press condemning Porter and his ideology with an excerpt below.

"We need tougher guidelines for domestic terrorism. White supremacy has found it's way into our political dialogue once more and it is disgusting to see just how close such a hateful ideology came to being in the White House."

Jillian Dayton; June 2, 2020

Date: Wednesday, June 3 2020
    Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
      Time Spent: 4 Hours Canvassing
Description: Canvassing with and joining hands with activists across the city, discussing police reform and the such was the priority of the four hours. Meetings with local leaders and talks with families, students and activists took place all over the city.
    Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Time Spent: 2 Hours Town Hall
Description: In Green Bay, the main topic of conversation was either jobs and the economy OR domestic terror. Jillian addressed both as best as she could. She condemned white supremacy while addressing questions on the economy by pledging infrastructure would be the number one economic objective of her administration.

"A real and meaningful infrastructure pledge from Washington that leaves no Americans behind and pushes into the new. We need to raise the standard of our schools, in our hospitals, on our roads. Better power wires over our heads and pipes under our feet. We need to invest anew, in the American Dream and raise what we all see as the standard, and that starts by investing in America's infrastructure."

Jillian Dayton; June 3, 2020

Date: Thursday, June 4, 2020
    Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Time Spent: 3 Hours Canvassing, 3 Hours Town Hall, 1 Hour Hospital Visit
Description: Canvassing with and joining hands with activists across the city, discussing police reform and the such started the day, she quickly pivoted to visiting victims of the gas explosion and met with locals who'd felt the blast. Then, a lengthy town hall took place where she discussed policing standards frankly. It wasn't ideal to be talking about the same thing time and time again, but she had little choice. She also visited the primary hospital which had taken in victims of the gas explosion where she embraced a newly widowed mother and teared up as a young teenager described losing their loved one. The cameras present were minimal, and uninvited by the Dayton staff, this wasn't billed off as a campaign visit. Much like Georgia, it was on the Senator's schedule, it wasn't discussed as an element of the campaign.
    Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Time Spent: 1 Hour Town Hall
Description: In Philly the main topic would be policing. She discussed her agenda of ending qualified immunity, tightening rules of engagement and taking steps to prevent the next abuse of police power.

"Qualified immunity is complete insanity. The concept allows for public officials. Police officers among that list, are protected from civil lawsuits by it. The entire concept was created to protect police officers from frivolous lawsuits but it's contemporary application means the average public official won't face consequences for their actions because plaintiffs can't sue them. The Supreme Court knows this, qualified immunity has been used to shield abusive behaviour from police officers and pushed the envelope within a courtroom for the point at which we hold public officials to account. Not all cops are abusive, and I stress this point repeatedly. Yet there are times when police officers need to be held accountable and qualified immunity has let those cops face no consequences. I have been in talks with others in Congress and I expect to see a bill hit the floor of either chamber in the coming weeks, and I will make it my mission to ensure it includes provisions tightening the application of qualified immunity so abusive police officers are held accountable."

What is abundantly clear is that Congress needs to do two things, in no particular order. One, is tighten domestic terrorism laws and ensure that those who perpetrate the same acts as Bernard Porter face justice swiftly Second, a nationwide police overhaul that keeps our cops safe from harm, and our communities safe from crime.

Jillian Dayton
@JillianDayton
A man who handed out Tiki torches and stood around the same flags flown by the Nazi Reich, was made Secretary of Defense, and then considered a serious contender for the Presidency. White Supremacy and domestic terrorism has been discussed in more than one intelligence briefing and it permeates our political process, and Congress must take this seriously. I will be working with my colleagues in the Senate to prevent the next domestic terrorist incident as best as we can.

Jillian Dayton
@JillianDayton
I echo the President and Speaker's sentiments that we must heal the deep wounds of our nation to prevent future domestic terror incidents. The way we do that, is addressing domestic terror, white supremacy and the hateful ideology of racist bigotry that has bred so much hate with a comprehensive counter-terrorism bill.

As the acting President of the APF, I wish to fully condemn the actions of our founder, Bernard Porter. He was clearly in the wrong, and there was no part of a plot nor cooperation with his actions coming from us. Marine One
June 1, 2020

The Skies of Washington, D.C.

Image

Looking out the window Richard wondered what could have been - What would have happened if he hadn't deployed the National Guard to the streets of Washington? What if the marches had been less peaceful? What if an incident had happened? What if Porter and his maniacs had chosen a different target? What if they had come to D.C. instead of Atlanta? What if they were actually prepared? Could Tawney have prevented the chaos? What if he actually negotiated with the former Secretary? Would Porter be reasonable? Could... Would... What if...

Richard was exhausted. Physically, emotionally, mentally... For the past three days he only slept when his body forced him to, taking short naps in between briefings, raids, riots. He slept everywhere, at some point he rested face down on the Resolute Desk, or so he thought. Everything was a blur. Tawney was tired. Of his job and of the White House. But he was also relieved. Porter's shenanigans in Georgia meant that he had an incredibly valid excuse to get out of the District, change scenery for once.

With crisis averted, Red Fields of Georgia awaited Richard not with more trouble, but with an opportunity to rest, shake babies and kiss hands. Or rather kiss babies and shake hands. Fucking hell. Tawney was really exhausted. He wanted to rest, close his eyes for a minute and drift away into a land of dreams, but the rotor blades of Marine One had different plans. The noise would have awoken the deepest of sleepers, a bear in a hibernative state.

Touching down in the Joint Base Andrews, Tawney stepped off Marine One. Wind blew his tie to the side as Richard tried to hold his jacket together. Saluting one of the men on the tarmac, he began to climb the steps of Air Force One before tripping in what would have been an embarrassing incident had it not been for the lack of press in the area. Dusting himself off, he continued to climb up, relatively unfazed by the incident.

Nate Richardson Interview
Broadcast While the Georgia Crisis Was Still Unfolding
Intro Song Plays
Iron Don Pauer: Greetings, my fellow red-blooded Americans. Crack open a beer and run to those phone lines because it's time for a very special episode of your favorite radio program, The Hour of Pauer, hosted on the Real Excellent Broadcasting Network. As always, I'm your host, Iron Don, the fourth branch of government, the only U.S. representative elected by a truly fair radio vote, and today I'm joined by the Republican Party's nominee for United States President, Governor Nate Richardson. Welcome to the program, Governor.

Nate Richardson: It's always a pleasure, Don.

Pauer: Oh, the pleasure is all mine, Nate. Now, as promised, today is America's chance to speak to Nate face to receiver, as it were. I've invited all of my listeners to call in with their queries, and my producer's telling me we've got on first caller. Everybody welcome Gary, from Branson, Missouri. Gary, you’re live.

Caller 1 (Gary): It’s an honor to be on the show, Iron Don. And to get a chance to speak with you, Governor. I think we all know what I want to ask about. What the hell, pardon my French, is going on in Georgia?

Richardson: I was in North Carolina trying to help out when the events in Atlanta occurred. We still have a lot of confusion and conflicting information to sort out regarding what happened, when, and who caused it. What seems clear is that the Bernard incited violence and then set of some number of explosives which caused a mass panic, killing multiple people. From there he fled authorities and held up in a building with a few followers.

We don’t have all the details of what happened next. Maybe we never will… But President Tawney seems to have tried to negotiate for a peaceful surrender but was rebuffed.

Pauer: It's very much a developing situation, and I hope to be able to cover it in full in another episode of the program. What's important is that we stand with our country and our president during a moment of crisis. Thanks for calling in, Gary. Now, let's go on to our next caller. From Muncie, Indiana, it’s Darryl. Darryl, you there?

Caller 2 (Darryl): Hey, Don. Hey, Nate. I am a proud black Republican, and I wanted to call in and say that I do not stand for any of the looting and violence being perpetrated in Marlon Ward’s name across America. That said, I would like to hear my presidential candidate’s thoughts on the issue of police discrimination against African Americans like myself.

Richardson: Looting and violence in these neighborhoods isn’t justified. Injustice does not justify more injustice, you’re right. We are in many ways still a young nation, but one that has traveled so far in the quest to live up to our founding principles… and we still have a way to go. The vast majority of this country does not want to see it destroyed, but to become a nation that fully has liberty and justice for all.”

“But this mission has been hijacked. The death of Marlon Ward and of too many others is being used not to call for greater understanding or equality, but for a fundamental destruction of our society. As a nation we need leaders that can separate people calling for peaceful change and reform, from the people creating anarchy and chaos. Black Lives Matter… but the BLM movement is more concerned with violent agitation and the systematic destruction of America than actual tangible achievable changes for African Americans and other minorities.”

“Racial Inequality exists, it must be addressed… police departments and police practices need to be reformed, some bad Police Officers need to be fired… and if they commit crimes they need to be arrested and prosecuted…”

“But we cannot abolish, demonize or defund police departments. The people in our most desperate neighborhoods, ones who have the most interactions with police, they don’t need less cops they need BETTER cops. If we want to improve community policing and rebuild these relationships they need funding, they need training, we need to recruit the best and brightest and they won’t join up if they become ostracized from society for wearing blue.”

Pauer: Thanks for calling in, Darryl. Next is Joe, out of Akron, Ohio. Joe, you’re on air, talking to Governor Richardson.

Caller 3 (Joe): Hey, Governor. My family’s been hit hard by the recession, and Congress isn’t doing hardly anything to help us. Hell, the Republicans have been blocking bills, like that one to raise the minimum wage, from getting passed. You’re the nominee, can’t you rein them in? Or do you support what Warrick is doing?

Richardson: The only bi-partisan relief bill to be proposed was by Republicans under Warrick and President Tawney. Speaker Simone and the other Democrats only proposed a socialist wishlist they knew would never be supported so they could create a wedge issue. Republicans and level headed democrats rejected this and came together with a real bipartisan solution which then forced the Democratic Leadership to jump onboard. We are still working for more aid despite the Democrats on the House side blocking things.

Republicans got relief for workers, paycheck protections, direct stimulus checks to Americans, healthcare expansion, small business relief and a ton of other measures to help struggling Americans, and since it passed Speaker Simone has done nothing but attack it. This was never going to be solved with one bill… and President Tawney has my support and confidence he can spearhead further relief. But the strongest bargaining chip we have moving forward is going to be a big win in November.

Pauer: And we are going to win big this November, folks. Thanks, Joe. Our next caller is Deb, from Brookwood, Alabama. Welcome to the program, Deb.

Caller 4 (Deb): Why’d you turn your back on Southern heritage when you was Gov’ner, Nate?

Richardson: I’m a proud Southerner, I’ve lived in North Carolina almost my whole life and i’m proud of our state and its people. We have the best BBQ in the world, we were the First in Flight, I’m a zealous Duke sports fan, i’ve raised my daughter here and she’s proud to be a Southerner and a Carolinian. We should never forget our history, our roots, our heritage, and we should acknowledge that history is complicated… That’s not turning your back on our heritage, that’s accepting it.

Pauer: I remind our callers to be respectful and ask unbiased questions of our guest. Thanks, Deb. Now, our next caller is Rachel, from Atlanta, Georgia. Rachel, you’re on.

Caller 5 (Rachel): Thanks for taking my question, Don. I wanted to know what Governor Richardson’s thoughts on the tragedy in Greece are. I actually knew Ariel. We went to high school together. And even though we weren’t close, I was really torn up when I heard what happened to her. My question is whether you think President Tawney went far enough? I mean, do you really think Ariel and that other guy got justice for what happened to them?

Richardson: Rachel I’m really sorry for your loss… I had the opportunity to speak with some of Ariel’s family on the phone… they told me a lot about Ariel and she seemed like a great person with a big heart. What she and her family are going through… it's unimaginable and I’m praying for them.

Justice is rarely clear cut and we don’t know all the details of what happened. What I do know is that President Tawney is a good man, who puts the American people first in everything he does. I think he did absolutely everything he could given the situation, it's never going to be perfect and it's never going to bring Ariel back to us. But being the President often means picking between a bad or worse choice.

Pauer: Wise words. Thank you, Rachel, and my condolences. Let's move on to another caller. This time it’s Marty, from Fargo, North Dakota. Marty, you’re on air with Nate Richardson.

Caller 6 (Marty): Thanks so much for taking my question, Don, and you too, future President of the United States Nate Richardson! I bought your book, Richardson: American Heart— great stuff! I can't wait to see you in action once we get you elected! A hundred tax credits in the first hundred days! [Deranged laughter]

Pauer: Do you have a question for the Governor, Marty?

Caller 6 (Marty): Uh, yes. I wanted to know if, when you take the White House, you’re going to crack down on these RINOs Don is always warning us about, like Augusta Merriam, or Au-gutless, as Don and I like to call her. She’s practically a Democrat already!

Richardson: As President I plan on leading the same way I led as Governor of North Carolina, leading with Conservative values in a way that brings people together. I’m going to push people hard to get the Agenda through, bringing back manufacturing, creating jobs, growing wages, taking on China and bringing our country back from this crisis. That means working with people who might not be ideal to work with.

As Governor that’s how I got things done, deregulation, education reform, healthcare reform, tax cuts for small businesses and working people, pro life legislation… Sometimes you need to work with people you disagree with, because the other option is a heck of a lot worse.

Pauer: Thanks for your call, Marty. Moving on... Here’s Joan, calling from Katy, Texas. Joan, you’re on.

Caller 7 (Joan): Thanks, Don. I wanted to ask the Governor if he could clarify his position on abortion. I hear so many conflicting things from the mainstream media, and I just want to be reassured that Nate Richardson is the pro-life candidate I voted for.

Nate Richardson: Thanks Joan… I’m honored to have had the good fortune to vote for President Wolf, the most pro-life President we’ve had since Roe. I am strongly pro-life, I have been my entire career. We need to do everything in our power to make abortion less common and appoint judges to the Supreme Court and to lower Courts that respect the right to life.

The President is not a king though, and change can’t happen overnight. And we need to be vigilant fighting against those such as Dayton’s former lt. governor who said not only should it be allowed up until the point of birth but if a baby is born alive you should be able to let it die. That’s disgusting and immoral on any level, and Senator Dayton has never disowned it.

We need to start by forcing votes on very basic measures like born alive protections. And then keep pushing forward against these inhumane laws. If we allow the left to win the Presidency they will appoint justices that will either turn a blind eye to these practices or actively encourage their passage. It’s too big a risk to ignore.

Pauer: Extremely critical point, Nate. A lot is hanging in the balance this election, but thankfully we have the ability to win back not just the Oval Office, but the legislature, too. Thanks, Joan. All right, next up is Bill, out of Batavia, New York. Happy to have you with us, Bill.

Caller 8 (Bill): Hey, Don! Thanks for having me on the program. All right, Governor, I want to know whether you’re serious about getting rid of gay marriage. Bernie said he would overturn— what was it— Overton v. Hobbes, the one what lets homosexuals marry. That flies in the face of our Christian American values just as much as the Nazi flag does! I mean, every time a homosexual gets married, George Washington turns over in his grave! And why should I be forced at gunpoint to bake a cake for these f— uh, fruits! Are you going to ban sodomy, or what?

Nate Richardson: The crusade of the Far Left against Christians on this needs to stop. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs and conscience and the left has no place dictating that to Americans.

The priorities of these leftists are things like forcing nuns to take birth control, forcing bakers to make cakes, and forcing our daughters to compete with biological boys in track and field for scholarships. These are authoritarian tendencies, these are intolerant tendencies pushed by the Left while they accuse US of being fascists, of being racist, sexist, and every other vile accusation you can think of.

If we don’t win big this November we can expect Jillian Dayton and others to expand the Supreme Court in order to pack it and pass an agenda that’ll make the Baharia administration jealous.

If we want to protect our values and the rights of individuals to their conscience, prevent cultural marxism from becoming mainstream... we need to protect the supreme court.

Pauer: Indeed, indeed, Governor. Thanks, Bill. We have time for a few more callers. Here’s Zach, from Colorado Springs. Zach?

Caller 9 (Zach): [Heavy Breathing] Why haven’t you denounced Traitor Tawney and Evil Eliza for conspiring to overthrow President Wolf?

Nate Richardson: Zach I understand you are frustrated at what’s happened. I was looking forward to supporting President Wolf for another term… But he got sick, and it got to a point where he couldn’t continue in the capacity the Country needed. He needs our respect and our support in this time, he made the decision to resign… and I support President Wolf.

Pauer: Right. Thanks, Zach. Okay, one last caller. And that would be Mike, with us here today from Philly, PA. Mike?

Caller 10 (Mike): Honored to be on the air, Don. I hope you’re well, Governor. I’ll be voting for you this November to keep that liberal witch Dayton as far away from the White House as possible, and to keep Pennsylvania ruby red, just like it was in 2016! Anyways, my question is to do with taxes. They’re just too damn high, all thanks to the Spendocrats, and if something like the Dem minimum wage bill passes, I think my business might go under. So, anyways, I was wondering, when you’re President, are you gonna throw us small business owners a bone? What I could really use is a tax credit. Hell, two or three or five tax credits. Ten tax credits! I’ll take as many as I can get.

Nate Richardson: Mike thanks for calling and thank you for your support. Small Businesses like yours have always held a special place in my heart, because my parents started a small business and for a good chunk of my childhood they ran it out of our basement. I got to watch every day the triumphs, and struggles that they went through making their dreams come true and then being able to give me and my siblings the opportunity to follow our dreams.

Perhaps more than anything else my goal in office has been to give as many people as possible the same chance I had. Our economic recovery is going to be spearheaded by our small businesses. My stimulus plan focuses on boosting them, giving them relief and support where it counts most, from expensing to R&D. And we will continue the simplification and deregulation of the Wolf administration which has made such an impact in recent years.

Any economic plan I propose will have tax relief for small businesses, paycheck protection and targeted economic incentives that will allow you to grow, hire more workers and pay higher wages. That is how we bring the economy back and how we build back better.

Pauer: Brave, Nate, Bravo! Thanks Mike, and thank you all for your questions, and a big thank you for answering them, Governor! Do you have any closing remarks for the Hour of Pauer?

Nate Richardson: You don’t need me to tell y’all things are bad. I’m sure a lot of listeners have lost their jobs, seen hours cut or know someone who is suffering from this crisis. America is staring into the abyss… But we have before and we have overcome before, I have every faith we will do so again, building our country back up stronger than before… An American Renewal where we reflect on our values, history, and common binds, together we will come together as a country and overcome this.

If I have the good fortune of being elected your President I won’t ask whether or not a policy is woke, or fits with the agenda of some coastal corporate elite. When a policy comes to my desk I will ask one question, ‘does this policy materially benefit and improve the conditions of working Americans?’ That will be the central question to my Presidency. I hope that you support me.

Pauer: "An American Renewal," what an inspiring vision for your campaign, Governor. Thanks again for your time, and I hope to have you back on the air again soon. Best of luck on the campaign trail. All right, now it's time for a quick commercial break. When we return, I'll rip into some of the reports coming out of Wichita and other riot hotspots— stay tuned, folks, we've got a real doozy of a riot on our hands.
Capilean News (Updated 16 November)
Where is the horse gone? Where the warrior?
Where is the treasure-giver? Where are the seats at the feast?
Where are the revels in the hall?
Alas for the bright cup! Alas for the mailed warrior!
Alas for the splendour of the prince!
How that time has passed away, dark under the cover of night, as if it never were.

On the Trail
Questions from the Press

Image

"Senator Dayton!" called a journalist, "do you agree with sentiments by your Former Lieutenant Governor that a baby born alive should be allowed to die?"

"Is this his desperate little interview with Pauer?" asked Dayton for clarity.

"Governor Richardson brought up the remarks by your Lieutenant Governor when on the Don Pauer show, yes," replied the journalist.

"Just to be very clear, I don't agree with the sentiment no matter who's saying it. I would think a Governor like Governor Richardson who found himself primaried by his Lieutenant Governor because he wasn't conservative enough, would be familiar with the idea of differing opinions between Governors and their Lieutenants," Jillian replied, "and not tie the remarks of one to the other. First he issues dogwhistling ads across the midwest, now he's trying to smack words in my mouth, I'm excited to see just how far his desperation takes him."

"Senator Dayton... Speaker Simone was recently asked about the section of your Bridges Plan which calls for federally mandated bussing and whether or not she would bring it to the floor... Her response was to deny the plan included federally mandated bussing. Can you please clarify if Federally Mandated Bussing is still in the Bridges Plan? Or has that been removed?"

"Governor Richardson has yet to denounce an ad which compared young Black Americans to Neo-Nazis," Jillian replied, curtly, then replied calmly, "there is no federally mandated bussing in the Bridges Plan which I've embraced. What is in my plan is making sure we have a system which means that there is equity of opportunity for all American children, regardless of their skin color. What is in Governor Richardson's plan is tacitly approving a comparison of Black Americans being Neo-Nazis."
