Capilean News (Updated 16 November)
Where is the horse gone? Where the warrior?
Where is the treasure-giver? Where are the seats at the feast?
Where are the revels in the hall?
Alas for the bright cup! Alas for the mailed warrior!
Alas for the splendour of the prince!
How that time has passed away, dark under the cover of night, as if it never were.

Character State of Origin: Kentucky
Character State of Residence: Kentucky
Character Party Affiliation: Republican
Main Strengths: Moderately Conservative, Appeals to Younger Voters, Somewhat Wolfist
Main Weaknesses: Unenthusiastic, Low Stamina, Flip Flops on Views, Silver Spooned
Biography: Born in 1957 to Jason and Lena Adler, Percy grew up in a moderately wealthy household in Louisville, Kentucky with his Father being Division Manager of a local Paper Company, and his mother being a school teacher. Percy was enrolled in his mothers school, he wasn't a really great student, he would skip class and bullied other kids. Percy was more of a social floater than an academic, hanging out with whoever was cool that school year. Percy was expelled from his high school for pulling the fire alarm, he went to a boarding school for the remainder of his school years. When he came back, something was different, he wasn't a bully anymore, he was more softspoken and considerate. He decided not to go to High School and instead join a band. He was the lead guitar player, playing mostly country music, he was never interested in politics.

Eventually, the band got a gig playing at the Senators daughters birthday party. The girl liked Percy but Percy didn't like her, but they began to date anyway. The Senator would always talk with Percy about the most recent political news, and slowly but surely he got interested in politics, and he also became interested in the Senators daughter. Percy retired from the band and joined the Senators campaign as an aide of sorts. Percy visited Washington, D.C. to help the Senator out, thats where he knew he wanted to be. He married the Senators daughter, and ran for the Louisville City Council and lost with 43% of the vote. Percy went into a depression after this lost, but stayed on the Senators campaign team until his final term.

By now it was 1989, Percy had decided that now, with the Senator out of office, people may be nostalgic for his type of policies and opinions so Percy decided to run for Louisville City Council again, running on the Former Senators platform, BUT, the Senator told him to go bigger. Percy took his advice and went for the Kentucky House of Representatives with the 1st district. Percy won with 62% of the vote, the incumbent was a Democrat who previously won with fraud and many cases of corruption and who was prosecuted three years after Percy's win.

As State Rep. Percy was an obvious moderate, opposing gun control, while disagreeing with things like Confederate Monuments and such. He was opposed to the Gulf War, but was in favor of secretly executing plans that would hinder Hussein's powers. He was opposed to bills affecting Climate Change, mostly because he didn't understand it. In his second term, he was ADAMANTLY opposed to the Assault Weapons ban and declared it, "upsetting that it would come to this."

After his second term, he was approached by the Former Senator, turned Gubernatorial Candidate, to be his Lt. Governor if he won. The Senator was very sure that the man would win, and sure enough he did 79% of the vote went to him. Percy was shocked that the senator had not only won, but chosen him as his Lt. Governor. Something was up, but nobody could figure out what was going on, why choose a relatively inexperienced Representative? Finally in 1998, in the Governors reelection, everybody began to get suspicious as he won with a 80% margin. A very large investigation ensued in which Percy was blamed as the mastermind to a big ponsy scheme/ corruption plot, luckily for Percy, he had hired an investigator in the governors first term after noticing that the books weren't lining up. This investigator had found evidence of corruption on the governors part, and in late 1999, the Governor was impeached and Percy became acting governor to finish the former governors second term. During his time as Governor, he restricted abortions, he did impose slight restrictions on firearms, and he was very outspoken about civil rights.

Eventually, the Gubernatorial election came along, and ran as the incumbent, he won by a very thin margin of 52%. Percy Adler quickly began to embrace the new conservative identity that was being dished out, he began praising Republican leaders and was seen as a tool for the party, most Republican bills that came to his desk were signed and some democratic bills were too but most were veto'd. When his reelection came about, he decided to run but dropped out after he made a deal with another Republican that if he won, he would make Percy the treasurer of Alabama, Percy loved the idea, he could still stay in politics without having to make as many big and unpopular decisions. That candidate lost and left Percy out of a job, Percy divorced his wife, and went into the failed politician stage of giving news interviews about any controversial topic, Not-Chris Christie style.

In 2011, the old candidate for governor won, and kept his promise to Percy. For both of the Governors terms, Percy was the State Treasurer.

Eventually, as a favor to some of his Republican collegues, he ran in the 2016 election for US Senate, to take away votes from other less conservative, Republicans. He campaigned hard, and accidentaly won the primary election, and kept going. He eventually won the 2018 general election with about 65% of the vote going to him. This angered the future Wolf Administration because they had supported one of the other candidates.

Percy Adler was a supporter of Wolf on most policies but they didn't agree on everything. In the 2020 Election, Percy privately supports Murphy in the Democratic primary, he privately supports Richardson in the Republican primary, and would support him in the general. Adler has toyed with the idea of swapping parties, should Porter win the Presidency.

Other Info: Percy has two sons, Lionel, and Percy Jr. Percy is a Baptist, and his doo wop band still has songs that can be found on youtube. Percy faces much criticism from his lack of Education, but owns up to it proudly, "I made it this far!"

Percy formerly donated to the Black Panther Party before he was ever in politics, and he has since forgotten about it. Percy can be seen as semi racist even though he himself is black, Percy also visits other countries regularly for vacations.

Appearance: (Photo required)Image
Character State of Origin: Texas

Main Strengths: Charismatic, Smart, Fluent in Spanish, and Adaptable, Compromiser
Main Weaknesses: Emotional, Too Aggressive, a compromiser, somewhat inexperienced, assaulted a reporter once, and arrogant when cornered
Biography: Darby Hollis Woodward was born to an African-American mother and a Caucasian father in Austin, Texas, Darby lived in a middle-class life. At the age of 4 his father started to teach Darby important values such as honesty, hardworking, and being strong. Young Darby was interested in reading and in swimming so he joined the Youth swim team and several kid book clubs. At the age of 8 he got 3rd place in Youth Swimming State Championship along with winning a school geography bee. He found himself being extremely interested in geography which introduced him into U.S politics. By the age of 13 Darby was studying the different types of political parties finding himself that he aligned with the Republican Party more than any others.

When Darby entered middle school he entered the 7th grade debate team becoming the captain due to excellent debating skills and his charismatic way of talking. He made sure to keep his grades up staying in the top of his class every single year. In 8th grade his mother died from a drive by shooting that was targeted at another person, but she got caught up in the crossfire. Darby almost slipped into depression but he was able to stay happy with books and debating. Him and his debate team made it to the National stage and got third place making him a small celebrity in Austin, but he was humble about it and credited his team for
doing equal amount of work. Along in his 8th grade year he kept a 4.0 GPA and studied hard for exams for high school and by the end of the year he graduated with Superior Honors and the middle school Valedictorian.

In high school Darby decided to take the hardest classes along with AP to try and get into better universities like his dream one, Texas University. He joined the high school swim team and debate team, but he broke his leg after tripping down a flight of stairs. During his sophomore year he began to heavily include himself in politics going to talks from conservative speakers and reading conservative newspapers. He attended several Republican debates trying to model himself after other candidates closely listening to what they stand for. In the Junior year him and his dad moved to Longview, Texas where his dad became became the treasurer for the Longville Mayor. With his dad at a good position he would start to learn more about economics looking at what his dad do. After a year he had a better understanding of economics and at the end of the year he was school salutatorian and got a scholarship to Texas University

As he was 20 he registered to the Republican Party and began to major in Political Science and Economics knowing that both together would work well. He was aiming to get a Master's in both degrees and began to take extra courses at different seminars in the state of Texas. During his second year he began to campaign with several Republican candidates trying to boost their popularity with the people. With his help he made friends with the candidates some of them very influential in Texas. As his third year came he started to invest in the stock market along with campaigning for more Republicans gaining more popularity among the Texas Republicans. In the fourth year he was able to get his bachelor degrees but waited one more year for his Master degree, but was excited as he was about to finish college and start a career before he ran for political office. As he entered his last year Darby decided to start giving public speech showing his ideals such as laissez-faire capitalism, limited abortions, lower taxes, and trying to improve infrastructure. When Darby got his Masters in Political Science and Economics he continued to give speeches at colleges and Republican rallies, along with making over 150k in the stock market from aggressive investments. He did do some insider trading but he took a plea deal that stopped him from having jail time but had to pay a huge fine with it. Darby doesn't agree with everything the Texan Republican Party does though such as them denouncing homosexuality's, but he hasn't spoken against them and has sometimes have sided with the Democrats over some of their ideals. He once did assault a reporter after the reporter constantly asked the same question jus in different ways trying to catch Darby off-guard but when he got too close Darby did punch him twice in the face. After the assault he paid $10,000 to the reporter, gave a hour long public apology, and then has to serve 12 hours of community service and 25 sessions of anger management classes. Darby considers that a life experience and has devoted himself to meditation and donated over 50k to anger management charaties.

Darby H. Woodward was able to make even more money with smart investments in the stock market and was able to buy a two-story house as he had been dating a woman named Madison Lefer for 2 years and proposed to her at the age of 26. 4 years later they had twins named Jackson and Rita. As he turned 33 he ran for Representative of Texas District One and with him having support of other representatives and his charismatic disposition gave him a win with over 70% of the people voting for him. During his first year he decided to raise the tobacco tax from 20% to 25%. Along with that he created a public work group that, using district funding, started to repair infrastructure across the District. His second year wasn't that notable except that he lowered the property tax and won another term with 69% of the people voting for him. The third year he authorized the construction of 7 new parks across the District and 2 new homeless shelters which provide jobs for the unemployed and homeless. Now in his fourth year he is looking to go even farther in his political aspirations to a governor level.

Darby has supported bills from both sides such as the Punishing Acts of Domestic Terrorism Act, Yusef Hawkins Act, An Act to Direct the Removal of Seductive Chinese Communist Party Influences Subversively Infiltrating the Educational Systems and Research Institutions of the United States of America, The American Israeli Alliance Defense Act, Family Farm Defense Act of 2019, Democracy in Hong Kong Act of 2019, Iran Sanctions Act of 2019, Protecting American Diplomats Act, The Act Prohibit the Usage of the Victim's Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity as Justification for Crime, and most Republican bills. The only bills he ever denounced in public was the Green New Deal Resolution and the Saving America from Electromagnetic Pulses Act
