No bigger isn't always better but I worked hard to get to that state. Seeing all that progress grinded away to nothingness is no bueno.

EDIT: Also having neighbors is paradoxically a impediment to progress at least in my case

Oh no, I don’t fit events. Some events can’t fire in some places, like Zhai Cheng won’t suffer from an avalanche. But otherwise sometimes RNG will kick you when you are down, sometimes if you’re doing well you will get more good stuff. Only Stability Events scale.

Hey I wiped out the Khortuun force not saying there weren't any survivors but the very few that would have survived should be held in imprisonment by the Shao. So there shouldn't be any accounts of what happened.

You broke the encampment, but you didn’t really pursue the routing force. I mean, if you did, your men would have abandoned the walls and eventually come face to face with the second half of the army, which certainly wouldn’t have ended well.

Laz' has the right of it. I began the battle of Zhai Cheng with 394 warriors. I lost 230, which leaves 164 survivors.

Battles don't happen sequentially with turns, so they're done as co-writes and posted once the battle is complete - I'm sure G will have the Battle for Zhai Cheng up in the next few days.

Nah - you're already doing fine there, with things like your Scholars researching cohesively as a group. I just don't want 800 different scholars all researching their own thing.
