South: Aled Aedryn, Sorrowfree, Corvus, Zhai Cheng, Yue, Chu. Bloody war zone.
Center: Daru, Hesukar, Penithel, Riverlands. Prosperous cities with some regional tensions rising.
North: Machaka, Varra, Eleskar, Manisharu. Civilized city-states squaring off against barbarians.
Islands: Warclyfe, Aun’Kal, Ithoi. Islander trade squabbles!
Deepkin: Deepkin. Prosperity and expansion into an unstoppable monster of a civilization.

Well, I’m going to war for slaves and wealth. Hardly unreasonable. And even if I wasn’t - you’d be amazed at how long ethnic people groups can hold grudges for. The Israelites and Palestinians are still going at it after 2000 years!

I have no knowledge about the ancient animosity between the Israelites and Palestinians.

That being said we stopped contacting each other so I'm not sure what grudge we would have against one and another since I don't see us truly remembering all the details.Couple that with their being no written records of what occured and it comes off has being irrational.

Your current beef is really with the Shao Dynasty not the Huang.

If you framed it has just looking for slaves and loot that's one thing but pinning our conflict on some wrong that a bunch of hairless apes committed against each two centuries ago seems kinda stupid to me

I had a base spreadsheet in the works, but it wasn't working out the way I liked. I think I have some time before the next update to work on that again to keep a better running model of what's going on in my settlement. Though, the base document probably will remain the main way I plan things out.

I have been doing the same thing at this point though.. each turn is taking about 2/3 of one page just to write it all out. So instead I'm making a several sheets long Google Sheets document that outlines each District, Citizen, and Stockpiled Resource that I have. Then going through that and making adjustments as needed per the update and keeping a running total, instead of having to copy/paste large sections of stuff. Then just have a more condensed Actions section following that.

Edit: I also happen to have way too much time on my hands today and have zero desire to do something useful.. like the laundry basket that is still full of unfolded clothes.

Yep, same here. I plan two to three turns in advance in a Google Doc. Nothing too complicated, as long as you consistently update it.
