Charles asked him if he was interesting in entering politics, hoping that a prominent economist with strong ties to the US conservative movement would give his party gravitas, but Tom initially declined. After Charles left UKIP and founded the Brexit Party, however, Tom was persuaded to join and in 2019 he was named Vice-Chairman.

They are still nowhere near being electable. If you want to do something like that I would recommend the Yorkshire Party since I think they have had strong showings in local elections
