CoraSpia wrote:Name: 'George Alexander Hamilton,' also likes to go by 'the grand old duke of york'
Age: 75
Appearance: George is a large man, who stands at around 6 ft 5 and has wide broad shoulders. Despite his age, he is well-built and muscular, and has dark and intelligent brown eyes. His hair is long and silvery. When he speaks, he does so in a loud and booming baritone, with a distinctive upper-class or aristocratic English accent.
Skillset:
- Magical abilities: George is a master at elemental magic and elusions, using both to great effect in combat. Other forms of magic such as telepathy are however unknown to him.
- Wealth: George has an unexplained source of wealth (it will be explained later in the rp and it is extremely mundane.) Although he is not a billionaire there isn't much he struggles to afford.
- Mafia Connections: George still has a small collection of friends and people who owe him a favour in the United Mafia who may be able to give him tip-offs.
Personality: George Alexander Hamilton is an insane English man living in America who believes he is an 18th-century aristocrat who is fighting on behalf of good king George. Despite his clear magical prowess, he has deluded himself into thinking that this is simply his 'noble blood' speaking, and that those who also possess magical abilities are nobles: there is a chance that if he encountered someone more skilled he may believe him to be 'good King George' himself. George's main alias is as the legendary 'grand old duke of York,' and therefore the only warning that enemies tend to get before he blows down the door is weird ghostly children singing that song in elusion form. As well as his various delusions, George is highly psychopathic and has a God complex.
Weaknesses/Fears:
- age: At the end of the day, he is an elderly man. Although he keeps himself in shape he is not particularly good in standard combat situations.
- Inability to be stealthy: George wants everyone to know that it's him attacking them. He gives out warnings in the form of kids singing 'the grand old duke of York,' and he is known to sing other songs at the top of his voice while fighting.

Motivation for joining Antihero team/backstory:
50 years ago, a mage of unusual skill and dedication joined the United Mafia. He was considered extremely odd by those around him, however his contributions to mafia activities could not be ignored. There was nobody in the ranks of the United Mafia who was able to strike fear into opponents than him; and nobody who was willing to cross moral boundaries with the readiness that he was. Due to his both his power and eye for planning, he quickly rose up the ranks until he was on of the mafia's most trusted members and had the ear and personal confidence of its leader.
Things went sour however when he unveiled a plan to the rest of the Mafia's high command to turn America into a highly militaristic fascist/feudal state, ruled of course by Good King George; who in his absence would appoint his loyal servant the Duke to rule under him. It is safe to say that the rest of the mafia did not like this suggestion and George was forced out around 30 years ago.
It is unclear what he has been doing for the past 30 years, however it is expected that he has largely been focussing on his magical abilities. What he really has been doing however is setting the world in motion for the rise of the antiheroes and the destabilisation of the Mafia and its powerstruggles. Unlike the rest of the team however, his aim is still to set up a fascist state in America; this will, however be hidden from them.

Are you trying to make an AI type character that exists only in computers? Like a Red Queen from Resident Evil?
I'm not sure it fits the RP.
I'm not sure we are going to include WMDs in the RP at least at the beginning.

I'm trying to do something like that but also a being that can physically interact with everyday objects. I'm trying to not make my character OP in that you can simply take said physical object in ones own hands and the character will not be able to do anything about it. Also serves as good distraction for security considering I can't be harmed in any way. ;3.

I think Joseph and Lorelei are going to kill each other since they are both psychologically damaged manipulators with a fear of being manipulated themselves.Application Format:
Name: Jason Wu, aka Ninja
Age: 22
Appearance:
Skillset:
- Stealth: Jason is very stealthy. A mix of grace, body control and good spartial recognition he can move silently and hide efficiently.
- Ninjitsu: Jason is an expert fighter both unarmed and with weapons (Knife, expandable baton, throwing knifes, garotte, etc.). His personal style is build on Judo, Wing Chun Kung Fu and Savate (Kickboxing) influences.
- Peak senses: It's rare to have one sense at peak human level, Jason has all of them. His close and far vision, night vision, hearing, smell, taste and touch are all exceptional.
- Danger sense: Jason can rely on his gut feeling for a situation more then the average guy.
- Supernatural sense: Besides his normal senses, Jason has an entirely new one, where he recons sources of "magic" or otherwise highly supernatural things. When supernaturally gifted people or mystic artifacts are nearby, Jason can feel it. By concentrating he can narrow down the direction and distance and ultimately by touch he can identify them.
- Techie: Jason knows his way around with tools and gadgets. He can pass as a decent mechanic, electronics engineer and IT-guy.
- Decent shot: While preferring close quarter weapons, Jason has some training with pistols and rifles.
- Ambidexterity: Jason can use both hands equally well
- Athletic: Jason is great at track and field, running, jumping, climbing, parkour, swimming and cycling.
- Resources: Jason has inherited a good deal of money from his guardian. While not super rich, it allows him to ignore the need for a job to finance his apartment and costs of living.
Personality: Jason is friendly and open. A bit immature, he still clings to romantic ideas about gentlemen-thiefs and honorable vigilantism. Somewhat snarky.
Weaknesses/Fears: Jason is rather impulsive and direct. He is curious and slightly naive. He seeks validation in others, thus disappointing his "friends" (especially potential new father-figures) is his fear.
Likes: Sports (basically all of them, both watching and doing), clubs
Dislikes: Cellphones (he has one but often leaves it at home to be unavailable), alcohol and drugs (X)
Motivation for joining Antihero team/backstory: Jason's talent as a little cat-burglar and thief was discovered early in his life be the Chinese Triad "Copper Dragons". Growing up in China Town, San Francisco, the Triads basically owned his father's business and provided him with an "uncle" who would oversee Jason's development and initiate him once he would be old enough. But it came different. When the Mafia united, the Triads had the choice to fall in line or resist. The Copper Dragons chose to resist but failed and were wiped out. Jason's parents (despite not being gang members) were killed during the time, as collateral damage.
Jason was found by the lone wolf vigilante Ruben Adams. Ruben was the first to realize Jason's supernatural senses and planed to use the grief over his dead parent to turn Jason into a weapon against the Mafia. Ruben trained his ward in the use of various gadgets (grapple gun, surveillance gear, Low-altitude parachutes, ...)
Ultimately, Reuben's life as a vigilante got him killed, too. Jason was once again alone. He wanted to continue the fight, as his Mentor had drilled into him, however they never got to the planing part of fighting organized crime and besides all recklessness, Jason understood that walking through the front-door of the next best Mafia hangout, guns blazing, was a surefire way to get yourself killed. So for a while he spend his nights dressing up and going on neighborhood watch, beating up low-life thugs without Mafia-connection. He made sure to tell the victims he saved to spread word, that "Ninja" was watching the streets. (A hero-name, that he had first chosen out of sarcasm over the fact, that the average American couldn't tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese culture but that had somehow grown on him) This got him the attention of Anti-Hero, who found him and invited him to the new Anti-Hero force.

Application Format:
Name: Jonathan Lee / Lee Tae-Jin
Age: 22 (international age)
Appearance:(Image)
180 cm, 60 kg, lean with defined muscles.
Skillset:
-Peak human agility: Jonathan is naturally gifted with moving his body with quick and efficient movements. To maintain this natural talent, he routinely does exercises that help him keep fit and nimble.
-Parkour Expert: Jonathan was enrolled in a parkour school ever since he was 9, one of the few things his family allowed him to do on his own volition. Through years of training and practice, Jonathan has become a master at moving through the environment and overcoming physical obstacles efficiently. This skill is, of course, augmented by his extraordinary levels of agility.
-Multilingual: Jonathan is fluent in Korean, English, and Chinese. He is at a conversational level when speaking in Japanese and can understand basic German and Russian.
-Basic military training: Jonathan has undergone the mandatory South Korean military conscription and has acquired the basics in marksmanship and battlefield medicine.
-Korean martial arts: As Jonathan's father was fiercely patriotic (as well as wanted his son to have a bigger build), Jonathan was forced to practice all Korean martial arts and their differing schools. Jonathan has amalgamated these lessons into his own fighting style. His fighting style consists of strong, powerful kicks with good counters to any possible tackles or moves which bring him to the ground. He is also knowledgeable with swords, knives, and bows.
-Aircraft pilot: Jonathan enlisted in the South Korean Air force, and therefore knows how to operate helicopters and airplanes.
-Liquid assets: Jonathan inherited a sizable fortune from his mother and father. While this isn't necessarily a skill, it does allow him to make certain decisions that people with fewer fortunes cannot.
Personality: Jonathan is what we would call a silent man, the type of person that people would not notice walking down the street unless you bump into them. He generally prefers minding his own business unless interfering in the situation would benefit him directly. Jonathan used to be idealistic, where he believed that everyone has some good in them and that people could completely change for the better. During his teenage years, this has somewhat changed. He still believes that everyone is not black and white when it comes to morality, but also thinks that people are more likely to become evil because it brings more benefit to them. As such, he decided to weigh everyone if they were more likely to pursue their own self-interests rather than the common good.
Jonathan has always found difficulty connecting with people, which secretly causes him a lot of distress. Any relationships he had, both personal and professional, have been cut off ever since that traumatic day, or 'the catalyst', as Jonathan would like to call it. He also has difficulty in meeting new people. He generally avoids any social meetings and prefers to stay indoors. It takes him a significant amount of energy to maintain any conversation unless he is under the influence of alcohol.
Jonathan has a complicated relationship with his parents. he detests everything his parents ever made him do but acknowledges that it did help him throughout his life, especially nowadays. The death of both his mother and father is bittersweet to him. He finds relief in the fact that their authoritarian presence will no longer be able to control him, but at the same time is saddened by how they went out. As his one final act of obeisance to his parents, he swears to hunt down the group who murdered them. He will stop at nothing to ensure that the killers will no longer see the bright side of the day.
Weaknesses/Fears:
-His inability to form connections with people hinder his chances of finding his parent's killers and finding joy outside of his home. It also causes him to fear his death, because all he can imagine is him lying in his own pool of blood with no one to help him.
-Jonathan can at times be a scatterbrain and lose focus when he finds a situation to not be that important to him.
-Jonathan has pyrophobia due to a traumatic experience that he had when he was a young child.
Likes: walking, exercising, strategy games, Red Velvet, stoicism
Dislikes: Judo, the sound of metals scraping each other, parties
motivation for joining Antihero team/backstory: Jonathan was born in the affluent parts of South Korea. He and his family emigrated to the United States when he was only two years old because his father became the head of the North American branch of a Korean conglomerate. Jonathan has live in the states his entire life, barring the occasional summer trip back to Korea to visit his grandparents, all of which have passed away at this point.
Jonathan's parents were abusive to him. Not physical by any means but emotionally, psychologically. They would berate his every mistake and be silent with his accomplishments. They would force him to what they want him to become, regardless of their own child's wishes. Some people would say that his parents were not always like that. Some say the death of their first child, Jonathan's elder sibling, caused their drastic change in personality. They became cold and distant from one another, even when their second child, Jonathan, came to life. They vented out their repressed anger and own failed ambition to their son. Jonathan doesn't care for their excuses, they were still horrible to him in every definition of the word.
When Jonathan turned 18 and graduated high school, he immediately moved out of his parent's house and went to a university in New York, the opposite side of California, and his parents. This didn't stop their persistent attempts at manipulating him so at 19 he decided to enlist just to completely get away from his parents. Life in military service was grueling but at least the people attempting to control weren't his parents for a change. He spent two years in Korea before returning back to the states.
Once he returned to New York, however, he was immediately notified of his parent's death and was forced to go back to California. Official reports have been reported as a murder-robbery, but Jonathan knows better. Jonathan knew about the group of people who wanted his father gone by any means necessary. Necessary meant being a member of the United Mafia, which Jonathan found out through the personal notes of his mother. The funeral also revealed something else; the murderers were also on to him. He immediately escaped from California, sold his apartment in New York, and has since lived in relative anonymity, simultaneously trying to live and take down his parent's killers.

- Occult knowledge: Jason has a widespread book-knowledge about myths and monsters and superstitions of magic in its various forms from medieval witchcraft to voodoo to various versions of alchemy. For some of this fantastic tales he has some idea how close they are to reality

So he just watched the Mafia from afar and noticed their growing interest in the supernatural and especially in gifted people. Jason tried to keep records of the names and abilities of magical Mafia people. Then Joseph broke out and left a mess behind. Jason tried to keep track of Joseph. After some days he lost the track since the telepath was running from the Mafia and thus obviously took caution not to be found, but Jason's snooping around was discovered by Antihero, who confronted him. The two man found their goals compatible, although for now Jason wanted to remain mostly independent and keep a status as an associate of the team, not a full member.
