Name: Stalgasin. He was named after his hive.
Faction: New Republic
Appearance:

Image

Stalgasin is a Geonosian of the pilot caste. He lacks wings and wears a New Republic uniform. He has holstered Geonosian sonic blaster pistol and fusion cutter, and around his utility belt are bacta and ammo pacs.

Stalgasin is approximately 5 foot 8, or 1.73 metres, tall. He weighs approximately 88 pounds, or 40 kilograms.

Personality: Stalgasin is a polite and honourable Geonosian. Introverted, he is thoughtful, gentle, and enjoys both reading and helping others. A natural story teller, he has tales of his time in the war, on geonosis, and flying and likes to tell stories. He tends to think problems through and analyze before committing, often asking others for their opinion to gain a well rounded view of something. That said, he relies on his intuition and instincts when time is of the essence. Curious, he is frequently thinking of new ways of doing things, or if the old ways are best. An artist, Stalgasin enjoys painting as an outlet for his creative side. A hardworker, he appreciates those who make an honest living and make an effort, and doesn't think as highly of those who cheat for a living.

Skills:
Stalgasin is a skilled pilot, able to fly space vehicles, planetary vehicles, and read star maps. He is a natural mechanic and has spent years repairing ships. Stalgasin is both a warrior and a planner. He is proficient with heavy and light weapons, and is cool under pressure. Little escapes him as he is vigilant and perceptive.

Weapons:
Stalgasin wields a Geonosian Sonic Blaster Pistol and a BN Bolt Caster rifle. Beyond his weapons, he is equipped with extra bacta and ammo, a universal translator, and a fusion cutter.
Ship:
Stalgasin flies a Lucrehulk.

The vessel has been refitted to better serve as a mobile command base for the sixth defence fleet. It now boasts a class 1 hyperdrive, and a class 2 backup. Mixing droid assets with old rebellion equipment, the ships fighters include x-wings, 1,500 recovered vulture droids, tri-fighters, and a dozen Geonosian star fighters, as well as bombers including the CIS strike bomber and U-wings. Some of the medium craft it holds include 50 C-9979 landing craft, 25 boarding ships, ten shuttles, as well as a full complement of escape pods.

The ship maintains a crew and complement composed of New Republic personnel and droids. There are 150 droids and 200 live crew members who fulfill the main maintenance, command and administrative functions on the ship. The ship is home to 139,000 B1 battle droids forming 50% of the droid military complement, 92,667 B2 battle droids make up the next highest number at 33% , and with the relative rarity of more specialized droids, 17% of the complement or 47,260 are specialized including only 1,000 Droidekas, and 200 Commando Droids. Together these 278,927 are less than the standard complement of 329,600 B1 battle droids usually carried by a Lucrehulk but trading that for increased diversity of units. The B1 and B2 units are primarily stored within 550 multi-troop transports and 1500 troop carriers when not providing security around the ship. The Ship also has 6,520 armoured assault tanks at the ready. Among those on the bridge, a Super Tactical Droid is among the more notable members of the crew.

While the droids can be shut down, to ensure the New Republic soldiers are comfortable the ships upper decks have been renovated for added comforts. A second life support system has been installed, and an expanded hologram terminal area has been added for outgoing filtered communication. Crew facilities have been added included an expanded bunking area, common room, three new galley and mess halls, laundry, firing range, flight simulator, and entertainment facilities. These entertainment facilities include a go liner, swimming pool, movie theatre, and gymnasium. Stalgasin has programmed a hologram of himself and a Geonosian flight simulation into the flight simulator to aid with training. His crew is provided many opportunities to expand their skill sets through additional training and teamwork opportunities, as well as tries to get to know those under him and their motivations to ensure a more coherent work environment with minimal turnover.

With a biological crew made up of a diverse range of species, the ship tries to cater to that diversity in its meals. It has 500 days worth of provisions in storage, and together these feed the three galleys and mess halls.

Rank: Commander
Bio:
Stalgasin was born in 34 BBY as part of the pilot caste. He started flight simulations when he was 7 and When he was 11 he became an adult. During that period he learned to fly, handle weapons, aim, read and write maps, and understand the mechanical side of his craft so he can make repairs if need be.

Showing some ambition, and wanting to escape from the toil, he decided to go fight in the arena to improve his standing. Three key experiences stood out. His first combat involved the flooding of the arena and learning from others on his team to obtain victory in the sea battle. The second was facing off against an Acklay and using a lasso and stun baton he was able to bring down the creature. The third was a Geonosian vs Geonosian. Victorious he was exiled from the hive, but he had both improved his social standing enough and made enough credits to buy his way off the planet.

Once off world he retired, spending time on the Kyuzo home world as an artist where he obtained a War Shield. When his home world was invaded for succeeding from a voluntary union, he enlisted with the Seperatists. He became an officer in the Seperatist navy, using his piloting skills to lead strike bomber squadrons against the republic. Not the one planning, or reading documents, he was a beneficial Ace. In 21 BBY he was placed in more senior positions on a ship, co-ordinating the planning of bombing runs both, in space and atmosphere, and ensuring he was knowledgeable about the planet or ship, its culture, and key targets. By 20 BBY he was promoted to Captain and placed in a senior position as a bridge officer specialialising in weapons and ships on a muunificent class vessel. His responsibilities included researching and briefing the bridge on the opponents strength, and helping advise the captain on fighter formations, bombing runs, and proper equipment for the personnel. In 19 BBY he was promoted to Commander and given command of a Lucrehulk Class Battleship.

After the war ended Stalgasin helped the Seperatist parliament evacuate before going into hiding. He moved his vessel into Hutt Space and began operating as a mobile trading station. This was helped by the Lucrehulk’s 5 million ton cargo capacity. In return for paying taxes to the Hutts they kept his secret, and he used the extra revenue to keep his droids powered, crew fed, and ship maintained. He hosted a radio station aboard, and soon a small town began to build up made out of smugglers and bounty hunters and others keeping their head down. Stalgasin had an arena set up for entertainment. After a year word reached him from his Seperatist contacts of a Geonosian trying to rebuild the Mustafar droid army. Interested, Stalgasin left the operation to his Super Tactical Droid second in command and took a light freighter to Mustafar.

Stalgasin rendezvoused with Gizor Delso in 18 BBY, spending the next year helping him restart the droid factory and conduct research. His main tasking was being in charge of getting the fleet built and in formation. In 17 BBY the project was rendered defunct when the fleet was breeched and Gizor Delso died alongside the droids and the destruction of the factory. Stalgasin evacuated aboard the light freighter and had a period of laying low before returning to command his vessel.

In 3 BBY Stalgasin was introduced to Kalani through his affiliates, beginning his recruitment to the rebellion. The two of them reactivated old separatist equipment and struck against a few imperial facilities. They gained control of a cruiser kept by Kalani. The two of them parted ways soon after. In 2 BBY, after learning of the sterilization of Geonosis, Stalgasin joined the rebellion.

During the initial period of the rebellion his vessel served as a staging ground for launching attacks. Saboteurs and infiltrators would use the ship to launch missions from. Soon it became to valuable to risk in combat and it became a mobile command centre. In addition to infiltrators and saboteurs, intelligence agents would meet to distribute information. After the battle of Yavin cells from all around came to meet, fuel, and gather supplies on the ship. It participated again in combat during the battle of Endor, after which the New Republic was founded. Shortly after it was placed within the Sixth Defence Fleet under Admiral Liu Bao Rui when it was needed to help defeat a super star destroyer guarding one of Sullusts moons.

Awesome! I like it, accepted! So while Strala is not online, you will have a reasonable freedom of operation as far as 6th fleet operations in general.

Due to the fact that Strala is online and responsive on Discord and has been having dialogue with Cainesland on the application, I'm going to have to ask you to please reconsider that ruling.

Could you please use this image instead? I forgot my Victory II in that one (which is sort of a major fleet component tbh). Apologies.

Thank you. I’m glad you like it.

If I might ask, Strala was showing some concerns on Discord around having someone with a Seperatist background join the sixth fleet commanding a Luprehulk. This being due to Stala’s character having a Republic background. Is my app still something you are comfortable accepting?

Yes, I think it adds a whole new level to the story, since, of course, the NR was made up of many different folks.

Thank you

Would you like my Lucrehulk to be the Freedom mentioned in the Sixth Fleet App, or a separate vessel?

If the same, would you like it to have been fitted to also hold corvettes? The Freedom was mentioned to have that. As well, discussion in the discord is that the Freedom may get close to disabled almost first thing in the battle and may be expected to retreat soon after arrival.

If not the same, Strala mentioned needing to reduce the number of capital ships to make room. Would that be accurate? Or could the fleet numbers be the same and just add the Luprehulk?

I'd leave that desicion to the two of you, but personally I would say make it the Freedom. As far as modifications, increased hangar space is fairly easy, I did it for my ISD. And I'll leave whatever happens in the RP up to you guys.

OP of Empire's End RP, Frequenter of P2TM, and part of the F7 delegation along with -Astoria, Valentine Z, Western Fardelshufflestein, La Xinga, and Nooooooooooooooo.
“...My only complaint is that this guy seems to have plot armor thicker than the hull of a battleship. What’s this Holy Grail thing, anyway? I tried looking it up using foreign information networks but I kept seeing footage of knights being butchered by a rabbit... I don’t think that was a legitimate source.”

...and Josephus sorta started a nuclear war, so I'll just ignore the fact that Kakistopia has almost 50% of deaths due in some part to the God-Empress, and I'll also ignore that Josephus XII was raised as a child-soldier, and I'll say Josephus is the more horrible leader.

Apologies.

Yeah, sorry about that. I didn't know he was on there. Could he come over here? We could use a 6th fleet post. And if you check the updated map, the V II is there.

My opening post is being written. I am currently exploring the ship through a series of inspections. Showing off a few of the the interior locations. Currently of note is the corvette hanger and maintenance bay led by a Wookiee, shield room led by a Tynnan, and the research and development facility. I am also planning on showing the bridge as the ship arrives at Fondor.

Hey OP, I have what may be a bit of an unreasonable request to make regarding Trayarck and his fleet.

I'm painfully aware that, right now, the New Republic is pretty lacking in large players, and I feel confident enough in my management skills by now to try fill in that gap as being a larger fleet, since it'd allow more direct confrontations with Imperial factions in future. As such, my request is that I be allowed to expand the Sullustan Sector Squadron into a full fleet with maybe 4-7 ISD-scale vessels and a single, larger flagship, probably something like a Praetor Mk I or a Home One, with the fleet now divided into 3 squadrons instead of just being one. I'd integrate it into the IC as a promotion to command of a larger fleet for Trayarck, and it's also okay if I need to make modifications to this idea to make it more manageable to other players. Definitely taking suggestions on this, and if you don't feel it'd be a good addition that's also totally cool.

I would second this, no problem.

Added to this, we would need to get our "regional" map up and running proper. Painting the galaxy in clear lines of territory held by NR, player Imps, NPC Imps, and "neutrals". This can allow players to fight NPC's and write solo story lines more clearly and can allow some battlegrounds that wouldn't immediatly involve PC home regions.

Hey, I would like to apply for this RP please.

Name: Sebastian Thrymn
Faction: Imperial Dawn
Appearance: Human male, 6' 3", 44 yrs. old, fair skin, dark blue-grey eyes, silver-grey hair, muscular, scar on his right cheek
Image
Image is not my own, note the lack of a scar on his right cheek and Imperial Uniform.
Personality: Calm, persuasive, commanding
Skills: Interrogation, advanced naval combat tactics, persuasion, deception, marksmanship,
Weapons: E-11 Blaster Rifle, DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol
Ship: ISD Dauntless II
Rank: Rear Admiral
Bio: Sebastian Thrymn was born on Kuat in 40 BBY in a wealthy family. He received an education through his tutor, who he very much loathed, and therefore, often ended up lying to him. During the Naboo Crisis, Sebastian ran away from his family to join a military academy, and eventually became a gifted intelligence officer, earning the rank of Lieutenant before the war was over. When the Empire was formed, Lt. Thrymn was given a choice: join the Imperial Security Bureau and remain a lower-ranking officer, or join the Imperial Navy, and be promoted to Commander. Thrymn chose to join the Imperial Navy as a Commander.

After the destruction of Alderaan, Thrymn saw that the Empire needed some reform, as the destruction of entire worlds and the use of fear to rule was unacceptable, even for an attempt at peace. And so, Commander Thrymn began to secretly rally for support. After the Battle of Yavin, Sebastian Thrymn was promoted to Rear Admiral of the newly-formed 403rd Fleet for 'excellence in service to the Empire', which meant that he was being promoted because the Empire needed to fill the power vacuum and because he had supposedly never spoken out about the Empire. Admiral Thrymn began to secretly turn his fleet's loyalties away from the Empire and toward himself. In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, Thrymn decided that the opportune moment to split his fleet from the Empire had come, and so he began Imperial Dawn.

Do Not Remove: 11992

Name: Imperial Dawn (formerly the Imperial 403rd Fleet)

Type: Imperial Military Breakaway (Not exactly Rebels, but not Empire either)
Number of Members: 750,000
Number and Types of Ships: 1x Executor II-class ISD (Modified), 8x Imperial II-class ISD, 4x Interdictor-class ISD, 8x Arquitens-class command cruiser, 8x Gozanti-class Assault Carrier
Base(s): Theta Station (Mobile orbital outpost currently near Hoth, similar to Fondor Station in design, but mobile)
Notable Ships: ISD Dauntless II (Executor II), ISD Legacy III (Imperial II), ISD Titan (Interdictor)
Resources: N/A
Description: What do you get when you have a large Imperial Remnant that disliked the old Empire, but would like to create a new one? You get Imperial Dawn. Imperial Dawn is an Imperial Remnant that aims to restore the Empire- albiet with a new Emperor and Imperial Senate. It would be safe to put this in either the unaffiliated or Imperial Remnant, however, this faction WILL attack other remnants.
Backstory: Imperial Dawn, formerly known as the Imperial 403rd Fleet, was formed after the Battle of Yavin under the command of Rear Admiral Sebastian Thrymn. Up until the Battle of Endor, the fleet was involved in several minor engagements, with little to no loss of life. During the Battle of Endor, the 403rd Fleet was stationed over Naboo, guarding Theta Station. After the battle, Admiral Thrymn commanded his fleet to splinter from the Empire and head for Scarrif, Theta Station coming with them.

After arriving at Scarrif, Admiral Thrymn told the fleet what had happened and what his intent was. There was no resistance from any member of the fleet, as they all understood. After their base on Scarrif was discovered, the faction now known as Imperial Dawn fled for Kamino with no casualties. Kamino was used as a base for a while, before it was realized that such a place was too obvious- they needed to head somewhere no-one would expect: Hoth...

Sure. That is, if I get accepted. TG me so we can figure out the details of the first IC interaction.

Hey New Oceanum thanks for showing interest. I just have a few questions about the application to be honest.
  1. Why was Thrymn given a choice between being ISB or being Navy? Why would he be promoted to Commander if he went Navy?
  2. What did Thrymn do during the Imperial Era (End of Clone Wars to Battle of Yavin)?
  3. How did he "secretly rally for support" after Alderaan in such a way that evaded ISB detection?
  4. What did he command before becoming a Rear Admiral?
  5. How did he "secretly turn his fleet's loyalties away from the Empire and toward himself" when his fleet includes a large number of superheavy capital ships?
  6. For so many main capital vessels, you lack escorts and mid-size warships.
  7. Where did the "Executor II" (You'll have to clarify what that means) come from?
  8. His fleet was stationed over Naboo, guarding a station (odd for such a fleet), then ran for Scarrif for some reason, then went to Kamino, followed by fleeing for Hoth...I mention it in this order because by and large the fleet itself moves towards the eastern portion of the galaxy before turning back and running for Hoth, a path which would take them right through solidly New Republic and Imperial Remnant territory (Bothawui being nearby and Eriadu being on your path, respectively).
I would suggest you read through Titan Command application here, because the premise of your app is "Imperial Reformer" and we already exist man.
