Stalgasin is both a warrior and a planner. He is proficient with heavy and light weapons, and is cool under pressure. Little escapes him as he is vigilant and perceptive.
Weapons:
Stalgasin wields a Geonosian Sonic Blaster Pistol and a BN Bolt Caster rifle. Beyond his weapons, he is equipped with extra bacta and ammo, a universal translator, and a fusion cutter.
Ship:
Stalgasin flies a Lucrehulk.
The vessel has been refitted to better serve as a mobile command base for the sixth defence fleet. It now boasts a class 1 hyperdrive, and a class 2 backup. Mixing droid assets with old rebellion equipment, the ships fighters include x-wings, 1,500 recovered vulture droids, tri-fighters, and a dozen Geonosian star fighters, as well as bombers including the CIS strike bomber and U-wings. Some of the medium craft it holds include 50 C-9979 landing craft, 25 boarding ships, ten shuttles, as well as a full complement of escape pods.
The ship maintains a crew and complement composed of New Republic personnel and droids. There are 150 droids and 200 live crew members who fulfill the main maintenance, command and administrative functions on the ship. The ship is home to 139,000 B1 battle droids forming 50% of the droid military complement, 92,667 B2 battle droids make up the next highest number at 33% , and with the relative rarity of more specialized droids, 17% of the complement or 47,260 are specialized including only 1,000 Droidekas, and 200 Commando Droids. Together these 278,927 are less than the standard complement of 329,600 B1 battle droids usually carried by a Lucrehulk but trading that for increased diversity of units. The B1 and B2 units are primarily stored within 550 multi-troop transports and 1500 troop carriers when not providing security around the ship. The Ship also has 6,520 armoured assault tanks at the ready. Among those on the bridge, a Super Tactical Droid is among the more notable members of the crew.
While the droids can be shut down, to ensure the New Republic soldiers are comfortable the ships upper decks have been renovated for added comforts. A second life support system has been installed, and an expanded hologram terminal area has been added for outgoing filtered communication. Crew facilities have been added included an expanded bunking area, common room, three new galley and mess halls, laundry, firing range, flight simulator, and entertainment facilities. These entertainment facilities include a go liner, swimming pool, movie theatre, and gymnasium. Stalgasin has programmed a hologram of himself and a Geonosian flight simulation into the flight simulator to aid with training. His crew is provided many opportunities to expand their skill sets through additional training and teamwork opportunities, as well as tries to get to know those under him and their motivations to ensure a more coherent work environment with minimal turnover.
With a biological crew made up of a diverse range of species, the ship tries to cater to that diversity in its meals. It has 500 days worth of provisions in storage, and together these feed the three galleys and mess halls.
Rank: Commander
Bio:
Stalgasin was born in 34 BBY as part of the pilot caste. He started flight simulations when he was 7 and When he was 11 he became an adult. During that period he learned to fly, handle weapons, aim, read and write maps, and understand the mechanical side of his craft so he can make repairs if need be.
Showing some ambition, and wanting to escape from the toil, he decided to go fight in the arena to improve his standing. Three key experiences stood out. His first combat involved the flooding of the arena and learning from others on his team to obtain victory in the sea battle. The second was facing off against an Acklay and using a lasso and stun baton he was able to bring down the creature. The third was a Geonosian vs Geonosian. Victorious he was exiled from the hive, but he had both improved his social standing enough and made enough credits to buy his way off the planet.
Once off world he retired, spending time on the Kyuzo home world as an artist where he obtained a War Shield. When his home world was invaded for succeeding from a voluntary union, he enlisted with the Seperatists. He became an officer in the Seperatist navy, using his piloting skills to lead strike bomber squadrons against the republic. Not the one planning, or reading documents, he was a beneficial Ace. In 21 BBY he was placed in more senior positions on a ship, co-ordinating the planning of bombing runs both, in space and atmosphere, and ensuring he was knowledgeable about the planet or ship, its culture, and key targets. By 20 BBY he was promoted to Captain and placed in a senior position as a bridge officer specialialising in weapons and ships on a muunificent class vessel. His responsibilities included researching and briefing the bridge on the opponents strength, and helping advise the captain on fighter formations, bombing runs, and proper equipment for the personnel. In 19 BBY he was promoted to Commander and given command of a Lucrehulk Class Battleship.
After the war ended Stalgasin helped the Seperatist parliament evacuate before going into hiding. He moved his vessel into Hutt Space and began operating as a mobile trading station. This was helped by the Lucrehulk’s 5 million ton cargo capacity. In return for paying taxes to the Hutts they kept his secret, and he used the extra revenue to keep his droids powered, crew fed, and ship maintained. He hosted a radio station aboard, and soon a small town began to build up made out of smugglers and bounty hunters and others keeping their head down. Stalgasin had an arena set up for entertainment. After a year word reached him from his Seperatist contacts of a Geonosian trying to rebuild the Mustafar droid army. Interested, Stalgasin left the operation to his Super Tactical Droid second in command and took a light freighter to Mustafar.
Stalgasin rendezvoused with Gizor Delso in 18 BBY, spending the next year helping him restart the droid factory and conduct research. His main tasking was being in charge of getting the fleet built and in formation. In 17 BBY the project was rendered defunct when the fleet was breeched and Gizor Delso died alongside the droids and the destruction of the factory. Stalgasin evacuated aboard the light freighter and had a period of laying low before returning to command his vessel.
In 3 BBY Stalgasin was introduced to Kalani through his affiliates, beginning his recruitment to the rebellion. The two of them reactivated old separatist equipment and struck against a few imperial facilities. They gained control of a cruiser kept by Kalani. The two of them parted ways soon after. In 2 BBY, after learning of the sterilization of Geonosis, Stalgasin joined the rebellion.
During the initial period of the rebellion his vessel served as a staging ground for launching attacks. Saboteurs and infiltrators would use the ship to launch missions from. Soon it became to valuable to risk in combat and it became a mobile command centre. In addition to infiltrators and saboteurs, intelligence agents would meet to distribute information. After the battle of Yavin cells from all around came to meet, fuel, and gather supplies on the ship. It participated again in combat during the battle of Endor, after which the New Republic was founded. Shortly after it was placed within the Sixth Defence Fleet under Admiral Liu Bao Rui when it was needed to help defeat a super star destroyer guarding one of Sullusts moons.
