Land of Presidents RP OOC + Signups (Open)

Welcome fellow RPers to the Land of Presidents RP. In this RP you will create a character that will run for your political party's nomination and for president! You will go through the Primary debates and if you don't win your party's nomination, you are automatically first in line for the next election. During the primaries, you will appoint (create) your Vice President. If you win the primary, you will move on to Presidential debates. Before the Presidential Debates, you will create a Voters Pamphlet information page where you will list your elected experience, your other work experience, your community sevie, as well as your VP's experience, and also have a statement of what you will do if you are elected as president. We will hold polls for each debate and polls for Electoral College votes. If you win the election, you will write an overview of what happens in the four years of your presidency. Re-elections are allowed, but only one re-election (just like real life). We will also have news outlet applications open if anyone wants to play as CNN, FOX, or ABC news and report on the elections.

I see. The Green Party is very far left. The party promotes green politics, specifically environmentalism; nonviolence; social justice; participatory, grassroots democracy; gender equality; LGBT rights; anti-war; anti-racism and ecosocialism. Libertarian socialism generally rejects the concept of a state and asserts that a society based on freedom and justice can only be achieved with the abolition of authoritarian institutions that control certain means of production and subordinate the majority to an owning class or political and economic elite.
