There may be few uses for people who can't embrace reality, but there is no use for the broken who can't escape it -Khaner Annan

The Radlhan Dilemma
January 1st, 1871

Image

Frederick Jork, Prime Minister of Diacoille, has decided it's time to strike out and unite the western peoples underneath their banner. They are lost, they are misguided... they attack each other as easily as rats and dogs do. They still fight with spears and arrows, and they can barely heat their houses. The Prime Minister sought to change such a reality.

The High Military Commander, Var Stal, dispatches a detachment of 100 Diacoille Rangers who quickly made contact with the local tribes of the area. After calling for a summit, the ranger commander voices the prime minister's offer: Join the Diacoille Union, become citizens and not only will the infrastructure to no longer fear cold and hunger be provided, but they shall be given enlightenment under Svarhel, work, and guns. The local tribes pondered this.... the eastern tribes were all for it, the western tribes were hesitant, the northern tribes debated such a maneuver and how neighboring nations would react... the southern tribe, the largest, made the counter offer.

They wanted guns. Lots of guns.
Enough guns to arm every single gods damned Radlhani in the region. They counted up the number, 96,000.

The Ranger Commander sent them all to their rooms and wired back the discussions to the prime minister. Frederick Jork pondered this; 3 years to create 96,000 guns. They didn't say which, he could give them 96,000 hand cannons or 96,000 actual cannons- But the Radlhan wanted to protect themselves against modernized threats. Reasonable, fairly reasonable. The Prime Minister wired back his response, and in the morning, the ranger commander brought the tribal leaders together: We Accept.

The Radlhani, now under Diacoille jurisdiction, are considered citizens. Plans will be made to move infrastructure into the region, as well as set up jobs. Var Stal smokes quietly at his desk, trying to figure out how in Svart's all righteous ass he was going to pull 100,000 guns in 3 years. He died out the cigarette and stiffens his upper lip, it didn't matter how, just that he would.

Radhlan Deal statistics:
Radhlan citizens joining the Union: 120,000
Soldiers stationed in Radhlan: 200 Rangers
Guns owed: 96,000
Guns paid: 0
Time left: 3 years (36 months)

As one of the first opening moves to the of the Amerce Casdasus was the passing of a large scale bill to improve the Amerce Agricultural systems. The bill was scheduled to have all improvement work be done over the course of 4 years, however, some projected that it would take just over 4 years to be fully done.

Outlined below are the main points of the bill
Government subsidies to small farms to expand there production
Beginning of mechanization programs to increase production on large scale farms
Buying out of low production land and work to improve them under a form of collectivization
The seeking of foreign powers to help improve production is done by
Monetary support
Investments
Solid Cash
Buying/selling of Technology in the relation to agricultural production
Advising on improvement practices

As to the 4th point both Draegalad and Normedeas were approached for support, Draegalad agreed to support while Normedeas did not.

1-15-1871

In the aftermath of the Agricultural bill members of the Wealth Party spoke up vehemently against the bill claiming that the bill would be a gross overstepping of government powers that would see the common man be stepped on by government under the call of freedom. The members call for the people to hold their representatives accountable for these actions.

3-26-1871

Close to the end of the month a group of foreign dignitaries from Jhumharvein called for a meeting with Amerce officials, the foreign dignitaries wanted to meet for a diplomatic forum with Amerce.

January 1, 1871

The Lamh Fhadan Festival of Horses begins. A celebration of the new year, and a party that lasts until everyone decides to stop. Hundreds of drunk Lamh Fhadans pour into the streets of Daineach, competing in horse races and javelin throws,

The stone walls separate each sector of the city, some portions having long since crumbled as they've had less use for them. Kassan raids from the Badlands don't ever make it this far anymore, and they come less frequently now, kept in check by Lamh Fhadan and Clannendian expeditions into the Badlands.

It's been a long time since the people of Lamh Fhada faced real strife at home, and that becomes clear when the Festival of Horses begins, Lamh Fhadan ale flows in every tavern, flophouse, brothel, and barracks.

Seanbair Birun, the Bas Comhairleoir, sits at the head of the Council’s table, Glic Ciallmhar beside him. For most Lamh Fhadans this is a time for celebration, but for the Council it's a time of meetings, discussions about budgets, expeditions into the Badlands, and foreign relations goals for the new year.

“First up on the docket,” Seanbair sounds tired and rubs his temples in frustration, “The Badlands raids have been coming less and less frequently. This means one of two things, either we have the Kassan on the run, or they're preparing to fuck us in the ass. I propose we send more expeditions into the Badlands and disrupt their attempts to regroup.”

Glic nods at this, staying quiet, after all, he's only here to serve as an advisor to the Council. While Glic has little to say, the Fia Comhairleoir Cocai Reacht, a tall Sindrin woman replies curtly, “And how are we supposed to supply these expeditions, Birun Comhairleoir? We have no money, we already sell half of our livestock to the other nations, and with no aid in sight from the House of Clannend-” She is cut off by the slamming of four muscular arms.

Rothar Botal, a Lathshi man, not particularly tall for a Lathshi but well built, years of construction lends himself great strength. As the rest of the Council turns to face him he speaks with a grin, “I didn't actually have anything to say, I just wanted to feel included. But while I have your attention, I want to say that we should be restoring the walls of Daineach, some of the Gunan already look like they're going to crash down onto the populace.”

Seanbair sighs, placing his arms on the table. “We need money.”

At the same time the Festival of Horses rages on, the proud Lamh Fhadan people blissfully unaware, while also painfully aware, of the knife’s edge that their nation sits on. Enemies wherever they look, a superpower nation creeping their way ever closer, strenuous relations with their neighbors, and only one real ally, too weak to provide real aid. But the Festival continues.

Lamh Fhada will be receiving 12,500 Kuzair Land Pattern 1865's per turn for 8 turns. Trade agreement established by Jarjetlän, Lamh Fhada will be establishing a school of horsemanship as payment.

Chapter 1, A Bold New World

February 12th, 1871
Samnaddrag, Republic of Jarjetlan

It had been a long time since the Jarin had first set foot on the shores of Rassakyerj. Driven from their home by the warring powers of Lakko, the people of the old Jarin Empire fled for the new world. Narrowly escaping the fate that so many other had fallen to on Lakko during the great war. Since then it has been difficult, the road long and arduous. But now, finally, after all this time Järjetlan has established itself not only as a local regional power, but has cemented itself as one of the most powerful nations on Rassakyerj. Between the Nussra arms company constantly supplying the new world with weapons and equipment, and the massive amount of trade contracts between those on northern Lakko and the remainder of Rassakyerj. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that without Järjetlan the goods between the new world and old would not flow.

Rehtoriän Jädlar Kalkvakim pondered this and more while awaiting the incoming Zobatzan delegation. Today he was to secure an arms contract on behalf of their allies in the south, Lahm Fhada. The revolutionary republic of Zobatza had their own plans for expansion and control over the new world since having it wrested away from them by Dräegalad. Those plans began with this arms contract, a clear breach of the international law established by the North Sea Intercontinental Trade Agreement. A few representatives of the peoples assembly of Zobatza arrived early in the morning, and over coffee and Jarin whiskey they discussed late into the mid-day the ramifications of the deal, and what it would mean for the world as a whole.

The deal was signed around noon finally after roughly 6 hours of debate, and with that the telegram to Lustin Ğularim in Lahm Fhada was dispatched to inform them of the good news. Over the course of the next year the Lahm Fhadans would establish an official school of horsemanship in Jarjetlan as payment for the weapons they were procuring for the burgeoning southern power.

March 8th, 1871
Kulusi, Border of the Republic of Jarjetlan

The border town of Kulusi had long served as the official staging ground and area of operations for the first army. Ever since the Zusrai clans federated and began causing problems life in this area of Jarjetlan had become difficult to say the least. Between constant border skirmishes and the realization that the tribal were getting armed by another power, Jarjetlan is fast running out of options to deal with public backlash against the Zusrai baring all out warfare. For now the first army will rest on the border, continue fighting off whatever "Bandits" may come from the land of the Zusrai, and with any luck de-escalate the situation without the need for any more bloodshed than this continent has already seen.

META DATA

-Jarjetlan secured an arms contract for 100,000 Kuzair Land Pattern 1865's to be delivered directly from Zobatza to Lahm Fhada over the course of 2 years
-Lahm Fhada is establishing a school of Horsemanship in Jarjetlan (E.T.A. 4 turns)
-Border tensions between the Zusrai and Jarjetlan are beginning to boil over into the public opinion of Jarjetlan making war seem likely.

The Tendarra Herald,
Janurary-March 1871

The world is again shrouded in the shadow of war as forces on the border of Normedea gather on both sides preparing for an inevitable conflict. The government of Normedea has also issued an official condemnation against Fraela'Moiki for its treatment of citizens in the town of Mulifordum, which has apparently been experiencing unrest due to increased tax levels. They ask that all civilized nations do the same.

In the east it is rumored that Zobatza is smuggling weaponry to nations on Rassakyerj irreverent of the North Sea International Trade Agreement.

It is rumored that Jhűmharvein is disgruntled with the recent changes to the North Sea Intercontinental Trade Agreement

The Shattered Hills Coalition has sent an official delegation to Zobatza, what the ramifications are remain to be seen.

The civil war between Gelintra and Nässamdräg rages on, with lives lost on both sides. It seems that for now Gelintra will continue to hold.

Keeping up with the Diacoille Union

April 1st, 1871

Prime Minister Jork learned first hand of the downsides of cultural and economic diffusion, the integration of 120,000 Radlhan immediately hurt the union's economy greatly. With a projected 1.2 million more Radlhan to bring into the fold the Prime Minister plans the Union's next steps very carefully. He proposes a more lax and slow integration process, and seeks to open more trade plans with more nations. HMC Stal also keeps the region safe, as the rangers continue to stack more and more bodies of Radlhan raiders, seeking to hurt the pro-Diacoille tribe.

Effects of the Radhlan Intergration:
- Consumer economy drops by 15 points
- GDP drops by 8 points

Diacoille Trade Agreements:
- Delegation dispatched to the House of Clannend (one lad on a horse)
- Delegation dispatched to Lahm Fada (lad on a schooner)

April 10th 1871

Lamh Fhada has guns. A lot of them. What she needs now, is bullets. Lamh Fhada lacks the industrial capacity to make 30-30 on a large enough scale to even load all the guns they're receiving.

“These meetings are growing tiresome, Seanbair.” The voice came from Rothar. The Lathshi man was covered in dust and grease. He clearly did not listen when he was told he should keep himself out of harm’s way and leave the building to the builders.

“I hate them as much as any of us,” Seanbair glances in the direction of Glic, “well, most of us. But they're a necessary evil. Thanks to Jarjetlän, we now have the weapons to supply more expeditions into the Badlands. Unfortunately, as you know Rathar, we can't Make Enough Fucking Bullets for them.”

Rothar throws up both of his right arms in a dismissing motion. “It wouldn't be a problem Comhairleoir Birun, if we had the machinery for it. As it stands, we have one factory capable of doing it at all, and they're backed up enough as it is.”

Cocai Reacht takes this opportunity to speak up, “Perhaps we could purchase the machinery from a nearby nation. We would have to send someone over to arrange the deal, and it would be Costly, but it's better than having 100,000 useless guns that no one will want to buy for fear of Draegalad.”

Glic stifles a chuckle at that. His opinion of Draegalad is well known by the council, and when they turn to look at him he speaks. An elderly man, he leans forward and speaks in a smooth, silky voice slightly high pitched but with an almost unnatural reverberation, “I think purchasing the machinery is an excellent idea, and if that fails, well, we could always purchase the ammunition.”

Lamh Fhada will send a representative to the House of Clannend asking to purchase machinery and another representative to the Cörmag Empire to purchase an amount of ammunition sufficient to supplement their supply in the meantime.

The Twenty-Seventh of April in the year Eighteen and Seventy-One
North Central Amerce

The group of 7 horsemen rode having covered some distance in a short amount of time from when they were dispatched from the Captial Albgai-Séínae. The group of 7 all members of the Custod Publica from the news of an old city from some 1000 years ago. While the news of old cities was not of interest to the group, they had bigger things than to look around them, this city was different it was of Kuswawet’i in its origin this was what was important to them and as such needed to get a handle on it before this became widespread news to the world. The group after a bit more riding made it to the camp. Getting off their horses the leader of the archaeology came up to the group.
“Ah yes, you came, quickly might I add.” The foreman said his voice glad but somewhat nervous “We slowed down our digging out of this city once our Kuswawet’i guides told us what it was. Frankly, I’m shocked to see that they were shocked at this, but we sent word soon afterward. I’m sure your just here to see it is not of importance to your group, ...yes?”

The Custod Publica walking with him stopped turn to him, “Like everything that does with Kuswawet’i we are here to see that it is not a threat to Amerce, you will still get credit where it is. But you said you had Kuswawet’i with you, how many?”

“Three, we have three of them with us more as a guide than anything else, but they were shocked too what we found.”

The Custod raised an eye.

“They believe we found the ancient city of the Kuswawet’i people from around 800 B.C.” The foreman answered back.

The Sixth of April in the year Eighteen and Seventy-One
Albgai-Séínae, Capital of Amerce, Northern Amerce

The Amerce-Jhumharvein relations was a weak one, while not hostile due to the North Sea Intercontinental Trade Agreement it was clear that the two nations had no real reason to work openly at all till out of the blue Amerce found itself on the receiving end of a Jhumharvein delegation. After the delegation made its way through the city with a large fanfare, that Amerce was not normally accustomed to. Once the delegation made its way to the meeting place the Sindrin dawned in a large amount of make-up began to speak. “As you know in the NSITA, we had a 10% tariff for all goods moving throughout our nations. Draeglad has changed the amount of tariffs that we need to pay for sending goods through their ports, we would like to sent the goods through your capital at the old rate of 10%.”

The Amerce delegate thought about the information for a second before replying “We would welcome that but we have some concern about Draeglad in this matter, would a defense pact also be fitting for this?”

The Sindrin laughed “You overestimate Draeglad’s care in this matter they have more important matters Rassakyerj and other places this is a non-matter to them.”

The Amerce delegate nodded, “but it is still something on the table, but we accept your want to sent goods through our ports at a 10% rate.”

Chapter 2, What Lurks in the West

May 9th, 1871
Samnaddrag, Republic of Jarjetlan

The inner chamber of the seeker council was a mess of shouting, hurling papers, quickly moving butlers, and heated topics. The one topic setting everyone most on edge? The recent delegation recieived on behalf of the "Official" Zusrai federation government, asking for Jarjetlan's co-operation in dealing with the so called "Border Raiders". Claiming that these elements were not operating under proper Zusrai authority was troubling, because that meant this was either an elaborate ruse to simmer the tempers of the Jarin people, or there was some extra-national entity that sought Jarjetlan harm. One way or another, what would ultimately be done about the Zusrai problem would still be in legal forum for many months to come, and in the forefront of everyone's mind.

META DATA

-Jarjetlan secured an arms contract for 100,000 Kuzair Land Pattern 1865's to be delivered from Zobatza to Lahm Fhada over the course of 2 years (88,500 Remaining)
-Lahm Fhada is establishing a school of Horsemanship in Jarjetlan (E.T.A. 3 turns)
-Border prosperity increasing slightly as a result of less intense raiding

The Tendarra Herald,
April-June 1871

The Situation between the Normedean Empire and Moikkiko grows more and more dire with each passing day, with massed mobilization on both sides. It seems now it is only a matter of time before war breaks out.

In the east it is still rumored that Zobatza is smuggling weaponry to nations on Rassakyerj irreverent of the North Sea International Trade Agreement, though no substantiation of this could be found.

Jhűmharvein is officially changing many shipping routes and redirecting trade traffic incoming to Jhűmharvein through domestic or Amerceian ports.

It is rumored that an official forum was held between the Zukkir clan, and representatives of Zobatza and Arnöa.

It is rumored that Dräegalad will be stepping up naval manufacturing to unprecedented levels.

It is rumored that members of a group of Rassakyerji tribes known as the Leaienwa fear the growing influence of their domestic neighbors and may seek to ally themselves with someone from Lakko Soon.

It is rumored that in the far east groups of tribesmen from the Radlahn plateau are banding together to fight the growing influence of Diacolle in the area

The Nässaman Civil War
Chapter 1, Strange Friends

June 25th, 1871
Outskirts of Tenollo, Republic of Gelintra

The warm summer air of the Gelintran countryside shone down bright on Ridire MacDia's face as he rode to meet with the remainder of his men on recon. The air here seemed purer, less like the rest of the air on Lakko that was choked with black smoke emanating from a million factories. This was a good place to fight for, one that reminded him of his own homeland so many thousands of miles away. As he crested the green grass covered hill in the distance he could see his riders, making triple time back to his position. Concerned he rode down the other side of the hill to meet them and in frantic and confused Lahm Fhadan he could only make out clearly the words "The Highlanders are here"

The team made its way back to the town of Tenollo as quickly as they could, warning the Gelintran garrison of the incoming threat. The Königr Hoechlande Fußsold Kompanie had yet to be deployed on this side of the front. Everyone quickly argued and assessed their situation, they reasoned that these forces landed behind the primary Gelintran lines in the small Nässamdrag coastal province held by a series of star forts in the far north west of Gelintra. These forts had been unassailable and a major obstacle to shoring up Gelintra's defensiveness and now it seems that the original fears of the high command have been realized. Here they were, 30,000 of the best soldiers Nässamdrag had to offer, with cavalry support, artillery, and shore bombardment to keep the coast clear. The garrison of Tenollo numbered a measly 12,000, supported by 1,000 Lahm Fhadan mercenaries. The nearest army was about a 4 hour ride to the west and by the time anyone would be able to arrive to retreive them and get them moving, Nässamdrag would already be upon the town.

The situation looked dire, the Lahm Fhadans looked out to the city streets being emptied and barricades being put up so the garrison could make the bastards fight for every piece of ground. Ridire MacDia turned and rode to the commander of the Gelintran forces a sullen look on his face. "How long do you need to get everyone out of here?" The commander looked up concerned and shouted over the surrounding chaos "At least 3 more hours than we have" the commander, hammer in hand, began aiding his men in building barricades as rifles were being passed out to any man, woman or child that looked capable of fighting with everyone else fleeing to the position of the incoming Gelintran reinforcements. Ridire's face turned from sullen to fierce as the commanders reply came. Then after but a breath and a turn of his horse he shouted behind him "We will slow them down!"

The Lahm Fhadans took their positions in the forested hillside staking their horses and laying them down to hide as these elite cavalry had done so many times before. And through the valley, amidst masses of drums, hoofbeats, and heavy footfalls, came the accursed enemy. Singing some strange song that sounded overly cheery, the sight of these forces would've been enough to turn the stomach of lesser soldiers. But lesser soldiers these were not. As quickly as the order could be given a whistle sounded out across the valley echoed many times, hardly noticed by the singing Nässaman.

"Siúil A Rún!" came an almost otherworldly scream, loud enough to completely interrupt the singing of the soldiers in the valley below

The vanguard of the formation could hardly turn to warn the formation of the impending danger before arrows pierced their throats, dropping both horse and man. Thousands of revolver and carbine rounds rang out at the massed formation of Nässaman. Panicked men formed firing squares to shoot at the treelines which were now raining lead down upon their heads. The supply train quickly worked to get the cannons dismounted from their carriages, priming and turning the massive weapons while under fire however proved more difficult than expected. The formation as a whole attempted to press forward but found the path blocked by rows of sharp silver grass, the kind that would cut their boots and feet to ribbons without careful foot placement, something they did not have the luxury of currently.

And as the massive guns of the Nässaman formation finally began firing on the hillsides, the Nässaman cavalry then swooped in to find the shelled forests deserted, nothing but spent shell casings in the assailants wake. With every mile moved towards their intended target, again, and again, and again they would come under fire, thousands of rounds rending their forces with strange magic altering the men's perception of the situation as a whole. Some ran, some laid down in surrender after having the blood of comrades seemingly come to life and choke them with its sticky ichor, but the remainder always held the line, firing back into the treelines every time the Lahm Fhadans would come. Turning them away with artillery that was getting faster and faster to fire all the time.

And after no more time could be wasted and the Nässaman were finally upon their target city, they found it well fortified with no civilians in sight. The fighting in the streets was brutal, shell after shell rained down on the large town, obliterating what cover the Gelintrans could manage to build, but after hours and hours of continuous assaults from the elite Nässaman forces, the Gelintran reinforcements at long last had arrived. The Fight moved back outside the town, as the Nässaman army attempted to hold what parts of the city they had taken, but the overwhelming numbers of Gelintran forces ran them through. Realizing a total defeat might be immanent, the Nässaman pulled their armies back, fleeing north. The Iron fist of Nässamdrag turned away by the iron will of the Gelintran people, and their steadfast ally, buying them just enough time to bring more troops to the front.

THE BATTLE OF TENOLLO
Pyrrhic Gelintran Victory, Nässaman forces withdraw behind the safety of the star forts their big plan to open a new front against Gelintra proper halted
Gelintran Casualties: 14,612
Nässamdrag Casualties: 6,841

Turn 3

Keeping up with the Diacoille Union

July 5th, 1871

The Diacoille Union diplomatic representative arrived on the shores of Lahm Fada, which subsequently sank upon being tied. The diplomat was quick to offer a free trade agreement, of which the Lahm Fadans accepted. The Lahm Fadans in turn voiced how they desperately needed ammunition, to which the Diacoille Diplomat was quick to jump on. Having only horses as a resource to offer, the diplomat was able to work out a lucrative deal for the both of them: for every 40 rounds, Diacoille would receive 1 horse.

The Schooner deal:
- Diacoille and Lahm Fada maintain a free trade agreement
- Diacoille exports 400,000 rounds to Lahm Fada annually, they receive 10,000 horses annually.

The Diacoille-Lahm Fadan Expedition:
- The Diacoille Union will dispatch 200 mounted rangers and 300 mounted scouts to investigate the strange occurrences in the Badlands, with Lahm Fada

Sadly, the Diacoille diplomat send to the House of Clannend was told: "Go fuck yourself".

August 7th , 1871

Acting on local intelligence, the Diacoille Rangers received word that there was a coalition of Radhland tribals were forming up to confront and stop the growing Diacoille influence. Sensing this, and wanting to avoid an insurgency, the Ranger Commander of the embedded unit quickly sought them out. Due to their extensive network, the unioners already knew exactly who the tribal chiefs was, so tracking them down wasn't hard. During the summit, the commander gauged that the southern tribals, which made up less than 10% of the population, simply wanted a more simple, less modernized lifestyle. However, after finding out the Diacoille Union was working with Lahm Fada, the coalition backed off: if they were working with Lahm Fada, their ethnic brothers, they can't be that bad.

Within a week, the friction between the tribes was calmed down.

The Fifteenth 15 of July in the year Eighteen and Seventy-One
Albgai-Séínae, Capital of Amerce, Northern Amerce

Arthur stood in his office by his drink cabinet looking over what he might have later in the day and evening, that when he heard a knock on the door. He stopped looking through his drinks and faced the door and called out, “Come in.”

In came a young boy some 18 or 19 most likely a new recruit pick to relay messages throughout the order for a short bit before being moved somewhere else, “Word from the dig site out South- West, it appears that the finding over the Kuswawet’i got out, more of the common folk are finding out about them, Senior McHarris said you should be informed right way.”

Arthur nodded, “Thank you, thank for informing you can be on your way now that is all.” and the young boy left shutting the door behind him. Arthur sighed he was not much one for the care of whether the world found out about them, the Kuswawet’i it was a concern due to they would be under a greater threat, just by the nature people could be sometimes, it was a matter of keeping the Kuswawet’i doing something the would danger the greater world. He knew history he knew what happened in Rassakyerj some 100’s years ago and what happened to the end of the many wars that Lakko went through some 60 years ago. It was just a matter of keeping things from getting out of hand and he knew he was in a good spot to handle it.

Chapter 3, The New Department

July 19th, 1871
Nussra Arms Company Headquarters, Samnaddrag, Republic of Jarjetlan,

Another day, another long tedious 12 hour shift of dealing with proofing, gunpowder, and machinery. A humble factory worker turned designer, Shälon Tassik had spent many faithful years in service to the Nussra Arms company. But today everything was about to change, today Shälon woke up with an idea... An idea that might change the world... Shälon wasted no time upon entering his office, immediately clearing his draft board of all of the now trivial improvements he had been making to the various weapons and setting to work on something revolutionary. For a while now the Jarin government had been importing a light artillery piece from Dräegalad that served as an anti-infantry weapon. Capable of laying down an immense amount of fire for the time, but the major issue with these weapons is that the Jarin government and the Nussra Arms company lacked the machinery to produce the weapons systems or are large amount of the feed systems that were delivered alongside these weapons. But with enough modification the weapons could be simplified enough to make at least basic reverse engineering possible for both systems.

After 2 consecutive days of researching, tearing apart these systems, and putting them back together with Jarin factory parts, finally, he got one to work.

July 23rd, 1871
Nussra Arms Company Headquarters, Samnaddrag, Republic of Jarjetlan,

A government representative finally showed up to the test firing of this new weapon that could be domestically produced and was extremely pleased with the result of the entire weapons development team as well as Shälon Tassik himself. The representative was in fact so impressed that the contracts for this development team were bought for an inordinate sum so that these people would be made the official state military research and development department.

The Tendarra Herald,
July-September 1871

The situation between Normedea and Moikkiko worsens with rumors of massive naval and troop movements continuing on both sides

Reeling from their loss in the west, Nässamdräg has redoubled their efforts in the east sending new massive armies to attack Gelintra's lines, so far the war seems to be going poorly this year for the Empire, while the fledgeling republic is holding steady

The S.H.C. has signed an official trade delegation treaty and formal non-aggression pact with Zobatza

The S.H.C has sent an official delegation to Arnöa

The Sjjria Empire has publicly offered its support to Moikkiko in the event of war kicking off between Normedea and Moikkiko.

There are rumors that the Empire of Cörmağ is undergoing some administrative reconstruction effort and naval refit

There are rumors that Normedea has sent a delegation to Amerce and Jhűmharvein

Kaajanamaar has sent an official delegation to Mandanaa

It is rumored that a combined expedition into the badlands has been planned and is being executed, causing The House of Clannend to increase border security

The twentieth of October in the year Eighteen and Seventy-One
Albgai-Séínae, Capital of Amerce, Northern Amerce

“Look, my fellow citizens of this great republic and as much as any other man in it care for my fellow man. I want everyone here to see what we are but these teaching and reading that are coming out of the central lands give me cause for concern.” these words came from a man on top of a box who seemed to get a small group of people in front of him but many others seemed to not care about it. Their own lives and caring for their daily needs were more important.

“Jacobs enjoying the show I see?” An Custod’s dressed in more plainclothes said to Jacobs who happened to be sitting at a table still just in-ear shot of the man on the box.

Jacobs also dressed in plainclothes looked up to other Custod, “Daniel enjoying your daily walks?”

Daniel looked over the man on the box and gave a small laugh “Guessing nothing important is happening with you then?”

Jacobs shook his head, “He can rant all day about the teaching, hes’ make no threat to them nor have any tried to go after him so. So long as that keeps then he can talk, besides I get a bit of a show. But it would not hurt to keep an eye on him incase anyone tries to make a move. As doubtful that is.

The Tenth of November in the year Eighteen and Seventy-One
Albgai-Séínae, Capital of Amerce, Northern Amerce

The Normedean delegation arrived to Albgai-Séínae the delegation much different from the Jhumharvein one that came some 6 months ago. While the Jhumharvein had much in the way of fanfare and a number of diplomats, the Nordmedean delegation was alot smaller, had much less fanfare, and clearly a number of military personal. Once together to talk the Normedean delegation asked of Amerce in the future to feed them the information that came from spy networks in the Moikkon Empire and its client states for the coming conflict that would be breaking out, in return, the Normedeans would supply Amerce a large amount of Normedean steel which would help in Amerce’s own plans of building up its industry.

Dec. 21, 1871

Heavy breathing and sore feet. The Sindrin had been running for so long they forgot what it was like to stop. They had to keep going though. The Horn had to blow.

When they finally arrived at the top of the mountain, they all but collapsed. Hands on their knees they breathed in and out, the thin air making them lightheaded. They would be unable to blow the Horn in such a state.

The Horn was beautiful and intricate. It curved around the thin spire of this mountain several times. If this Horn were mundane, the size would make it impractical. But the Horn was far from mundane. A sacred relic of Lamh Fhada, it was blown only in the most dire of situations. Only when Lamh Fhada declared war.

The Sindrin struggled to their feet. When had they sat down? They shuffle over to the Horn, hands placed on it, expecting the metal to be freezing. It was not. The Horn was warm, like a spring day near the coast. The Sindrin placed their mouth on the Horn, taking a deep breath and blowing as hard as they could. Continuing to blow until the lack of oxygen caused them to collapse, unconscious.

Miles upon miles away, throughout almost the entirety of Rassakyerj, the Horn was heard. Draegalad would pay for their ignorance.

Lamh Fhada prepares for war against Draegalad, delegations sent to Jarjetlan, The Diacoille Union, The House of Clannend, The Cörmag Empire, and Hauita and the Lathshi Queen that resides there.
