With Halloween on the way, I am considering drawing a page from mmo’s and having holiday themed events. Log horizon had a goblin king and not stopping the coronation means bigger issues later on, and Adventure Quest Worlds has a pumpkin king and candy corn children. Maybe some kind of Halloween or other holiday themed event. What do you think?

Edit: I edited my last post to include a reference to the children of the candy corn. It is possible it will get worse before the end of the shift and people in town could be hurt or killed. Then the Duke and guild could ask adventurers to assist in solving the issue.

Had a thought, wanted your opinion. Should I make the new character for the Piper storyline? Thinking it might be sudden to shift Acer from what we were doing.

Would you be expand on this idea?

Where I had the idea to create a new character as well to help fill the world a little maybe this will be what they are focused on and afterwards get them into the main story.

While usually that tends to lead to player anxiety over how fair the op is, in this case given how slow things are it might help things push off.

I'll see what I can do then. And sorry about things slowing down, dealing with school/moving. Have a bit of a break this week so I'll try to get it going again.

Name: Ramarko Makhan(Real name Jason Weston)
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Fairly tall and with a long reach. Short white hair he tries to keep styled in a messy crest. Narrow pine-green eyes.
Bio: Jason is a young man with unfortunately poor people skills and anxiety that turned to gaming and anime as a means of happiness. Held a game-testing job that both fueled and helped satisfy his interests. When Grim Moon was announced he was one of the first to order, excited to be able to literally escape the real world. As Ramarko, once he found out his body would be taken care of, he wasn't all that devastated about being stuck in the game. He was good at it and it was closer to the life he imagined having when watching and playing. A month into the game he met a young teen mother and quickly found himself falling for the woman and wanting to help with the child. A couple months later they were officially married and he had gone from recluse loner to family man. He still keeps mostly to himself, simply trying to provide for those he loves, but he can now be seen out and about doing quests or business transactions.

Weapons/Equipment: Light steel and fur armor. Long two-handed flanged mace.
Guild: Officially none but he is on friendly terms with Crystal Origins due to mutual help between the two early on. He isn't too proud to go to them if he needs and can be contacted if they need an extra set of hands.

Standing before you you see a man just cracking 6 ft. His armor, a dark iron make looted from one of the later dungeons, provides ample coverage of the young Tank as he paces idly. As he removed his helmet you see his face youthful but tired, looking like he neglects the little sleep needed to sustain him here. His hair is shaggy and black, threatening to obscure his eyes if he wasn’t so on top of brushing it out of his way.
Bio: “Not much to say nosey. I was as history student at university before getting sucked into this damn game, worked odd jobs around town, could eat at night and pay my bills. Left home young, was done with my parents when I was younger, bounced around and wound up in the dorms while I get school sorted out.

But since I got locked in here? Well I’m not gonna just sit around and do nothing while the game plays on. Now I might not be jumping to go clear the game myself, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna just sit back and let my levels decay and grow weaker. So I quest, craft, party up on occasion, but leave the raiding and big stuff to the professionals. After all, none of us are trying to die.”

Weapons/Equipment: Usually donning his Dark Iron Armor, Mikari also generally has equipped a large Two handed Warhammer. He also has a golden necklace with a pendant inside his armor, and always wears a pair of gauntlets with retractable spikes that can protrude from the knuckles at will for hand-to-hand combat.
Guild: When asked about a guild, he laughs at you.

Accepted! We're doing a bit of a Halloween-inspired side story so feel free to jump in there for now and we'll move back into the main story afterwards.

It’s exam time. I probably won’t be posting here until after next Saturday.

It's no problem, same for me. I went off NS for a bit, school kicking me like a field goal. It's almost the end of the semester for me so after both of us get that stuff dealt with we should be able to pick back up.
