“All people have regrets. Warriors are no exceptions.
One would hope it was possible to distinguish between events caused by one's carelessness or lack of ability and those caused by circumstances or forces beyond a one's control. But in practice, there is no difference. All forms of regret sear equally into the mind and soul. All forms leave scars of equal bitterness.
And always, beneath the scar, lurks the thought and fear that there was something else that could have been done. Some action, or inaction, that would have changed things for the better. Such questions can sometimes be learned form. All to often, they merely add to the scar tissue.
A warrior must learn to set those regrets aside as best he can. Knowing full well that they will never be far away.”
-Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo

It has been 3 months since he destruction of the second death star, the Galactic Empire is reeling from the death of the Emperor and his Apprentice. The Alliance has not been inactive during this period, seizing several key systems, and putting even more pressure on the empire. The war for the galaxy is seemingly only in its early phases. Who will you be in this great galaxy of ours? An Imperial Loyalist who strives to regain order and stability in the galaxy? A rebel leader who wishes to see the return of the Galactic Republic? Maybe a CIS holdout lost in the stars. Perhaps a lowly smuggler or bounty hunter living day to day your own hard work and sweat. Who ever you decide to be in this galaxy far far away, you will have the opportunity to shape its future.

Still very WIP but now updated
App
Name: Darth Herlucan/ Revar Tulin

Age: 25

Personality: Revar Tulin, the self-anointed Darth Herlucan, is a twisted and dark creature of the dark side; one who is quick to anger and incredibly impatient, Revar is a being of rage whose incomplete training leaves much to be desired when compared to his former Master, Darth Sidious.

Skills: As a former Hand of the Emperor, Revar is proficient in the use of melee weapons and blasters and is force-sensitive. While no true Sith Lord yet, his training under the tutelage of Emperor Palpatine has put him on the path to great power.

Bio: Born on the world of Dantooine at the dawn of the Clone Wars in 22BBY to a long-standing farming family, Revar Tulin may not have amounted to much had the galaxy not had plans for him. And so it was that mere months after his birth, in 21BBY the Confederacy of Independent Systems and their armies of battle droids descended upon the surface of the planet and began occupying the planet. During the occupation, Revar's parents both joined the resistance forces against the separatists and led raids against the droid armies time and time again, until towards the end of 21BBY Jedi Master Mace Windu and his Clone troopers launched their operation to liberate the planet. It was at this time that Revar's parents noticed that there was something rather...different about their child; he was force-sensitive. Upon the liberation of the planet, Mace Windu approached the Tulin family and made it clear that the Jedi would return for Revar, but that with the ongoing war and given the child's age, it was too early to take him to the Jedi Temple. Continuing their cooperation with the Republic and it's Grand Army, Revar's parents became part of Dantooine's Planetary Defence Force which was to become its first line of defence against the Separatists. In the final days of the Clone Wars, the Jedi returned to Dantooine to retrieve Revar for his Jedi training. The Jedi Master with his escort of a dozen clones entered the family's house to meet the young Revar. As the Jedi Master crouched down to introduce himself, Revar saw a flash of blue light illuminating the doorframe of his room and heard the faint words that would forever haunt him "Execute Order 66". Revar never did learn the Jedi's name for mere seconds after hearing those words he was shot in the back by his clone escort. Telling his parents that there had been a rebellion led by the Jedi against the Supreme Chancellor, the clones then left the house and returned to their ship. They would return; and when they did, they wouldn't be leaving again.

Outraged at the seizure of power by Palpatine as the Emperor of the newly born Galactic Empire, Revar's parents left their positions in the Planetary Defence Force and joined the new resistance force growing on Dantooine. With the downfall of the Jedi and knowledge of a force sensitive child who had not yet been corrupted by the Jedi, Emperor Palpatine tasked a platoon of his new Stormtroopers to take custody of the child and bring it to him.

Interesting

Sith/force users in general will be scrutinized more due to their nature

So I'm going to require a pretty detailed app for both your character and our faction

Can I just go with the stuff from "Rise of the Empire" and fill in what we've been up to during the GCW?

OP of Empire's End RP, Frequenter of P2TM, and part of the F7 delegation along with -Astoria, Valentine Z, Western Fardelshufflestein, La Xinga, and Nooooooooooooooo.

I tried looking it up using foreign information networks but I kept seeing footage of knights being butchered by a rabbit... I don’t think that was a legitimate source.”

...and Josephus sorta started a nuclear war, so I'll just ignore the fact that Kakistopia has almost 50% of deaths due in some part to the God-Empress, and I'll also ignore that Josephus XII was raised as a child-soldier, and I'll say Josephus is the more horrible leader.

Ships depend on if he will be in either faction, imperial, independent, rebel

Imperials would see the common Star Destroyers, Rebels got their mon cal and other ships, independents got all types

All right. Rise of the empire is the rp created by Jedi Council. Wouldn't some rebel groups have some ISDs since they would have managed to capture some during and after the battle of Endor.

Ok, thanks!

App

Name: Jeremiah Dawntreader

Age: 50

Personality: Rather ruthless, but loyal. On several occasions, Jeremiah has “forcibly extracted” a confession from a possible informant among his ranks. He doesn’t like formal conversation, speaking almost entirely in either concise orders or single syllables, and has been known to lose his temper when a soldier does something royally dumb, but generally he comports himself like the officer he was for a brief period of time. He rarely shows emotion, (again, the military background) but has a very fine line whereupon, if pushed over, he will explode. Jeremiah suffers from no mental illness.

Skills/Powers: Jeremiah is an excellent shot with most weapons, great tactician, and an amazing mechanic and pilot. He speaks only galactic basic.

Biography: Born on Coruscant to an unhappy middle-class family, Jeremiah was the third child, and a troublemaker from the start. He frequently missed out on school and occasionally got himself in fights. Then one day when he was seven, several ARC-130s did a flyover as part of a celebration for a military victory, and watching them loop and twist, Jeremiah decided right then and there that he was going to fly. He actually put some effort into his school work, and although he still didn’t do all that well, he learned.

At age 13, fed up with the constant fighting in his home, he ran away, bought a Starhopper, and flew off to Correllia. He started business as a mechanic just outside Coronet City. In this endeavor he was quite successful, making a good sum of money, but never dampening his dream of being a pilot. He eventually bought the Twilight's Gleam from a family friend living on Corellia.

Dawntreader always looked up to the Jedi, but never even considered trying to join them. In his mind, the Force wasn’t a power, but more of a mindset that helped you fight better. He also liked the Republic for it’s democratic system, but thought it was too much of a bureaucracy. That didn’t keep him from hating the Confederacy. Jeremiah began putting together a crew and buying modifications for the ship, and hoped to join the clone wars as a privateer on the side of the Republic. In need of wiling and able troops, the Republic accepted his crew, and placed them in charge of a small volunteer task force.

His stint wrecking the CIS lasted only several weeks, ending when Palpatine seized power. After Order 66 and the collapse of the Republic, fearing retribution due to his profession, he and his crew retreated to space near the Maw Cluster, finding XB-4723 there. They landed the ship and began working on the asteroid, quickly setting up a large shield around it to create an atmosphere, and building large landing pads.

Throughout most of the Galactic Civil War, Dawntreader supported the ARR, but didn’t officially join them. This changed after the third attack on XB-4723. After repairs were completed, Dawntreader realized his operation could not survive without joining the rebels. The Alliance, in need of additional ships and crew, accepted his proposition. The Consortium’s first attack with the rebels was the Battle of Endor, where his flagship destroyed numerous ties and dealt significant damage to the [i]Devastator[i], leaving it open to the attack by Blade squadron that finally ended it. After the battle ended, his and his fleet’s service was rewarded with several damaged fighters and two new CR-90s. The fighters the Consortium repaired, and now are in active service with Twilight Flight.

Faction: Twilight Consortium

Weaponry: He always has a DL-22 on him, and is frequently seen with an A-280 rifle.

Ship: Darklighter’s pride and joy, the Twilight’s Gleam, is a modified CR-90 with a hangar bay, additional engines, and single turbolasers replaced with quad laser cannons. The ship is sparsely adorned, with all modifications focused on improving combat ability.

Rank: Commander, Jeremiah is the commander of the whole TC, and oversees all parts of the Consortium’s operations.

Faction Name: Twilight Consortium
Leader: Jeremiah Dawntreader
Number of Members: ~400
Number and types of Ships: 1 Incursor-class Cruiser 3 CR-90 corvettes, 3 Sphyrna-class corvettes, 1 YT-1300 freighter, 1 VCX-100 freighter, 1 VCX Auxiliary shuttle, 4 Z-29 Headhunters, 4 Y-wings, 4 A-Wings, 2 T-65 X-Wings, and 1 B-Wing.
Description: Pirate organization/Scavengers
Backstory(How your faction Came about):

Founded twelve years ago, after the crew of the Twilight’s Gleam landed on XB-4723, Twilight Consortium operates off of the asteroid. Originally just the CR-90 and her crew, they began setting up a spy network to plan their raids. Their first lead was an Imperial Gozanti-class cruiser dropping off fighters at an old outpost on Prishella III. They intercepted the ship at the jump point in the Zerm system, pretending to be a vessel in distress. When the Imperial ship moved closer, the CR-90 engaged, quickly cutting their comms and damaging the shields. The Gozanti launched it’s fighters, but they were no match for the gunners on the Twilight’s Gleam’s laser cannons. Within minutes the ship was disabled, whereupon the pirates boarded, seizing some cargo and making off.

The Consortium expanded greatly, and frequently raided Imperial cargo ships before and during the GCW. The Consortium got most of it’s ships and equipment have by salvaging from space battles and through the black market. In fact, the Consortium operates a small black market, and maintains a cordial relationship with Hondo’s network. The Consortium also maintains several spies and informants at important waypoints and intersections along major hyper routes and intersections.

One of the most important operations of the Consortium was a raid at a transfer on Junkfort Station. The Imperials were moving several million credit’s worth of coaxium from one cargo hauler to another when Twilight’s Fleet dropped out of hyperspace. In the ensuing battle, much of the coaxium was destroyed in a damaged cargo hauler when it tried to jump to hyperspace, destroying the reactor and causing the ship to explode. A good deal of coaxium still came back, in addition to assorted foodstuffs and other equipment, when the Consortium returned to the platform.

Twilight Consortium has been directly attacked three times. The first time, the Imperials sent three Arquitens-class light cruisers, which the base’s turbolasers made short work of, the base sustaining only minor damage to the shields. The second time, another trio of cruisers, but they were complemented with a brand new ISD. The Imperials fled only after all the cruisers were destroyed, and the Star Destroyer had taken significant damage to the shields. The toll on the Consortium was high, but not a kill blow. They had lost a brand new C-ROC cruiser, sustained heavy damage to the shields of the base, several fighters had been obliterated, and even the Twilight’s Gleam was grounded for a while while repairs were underway. The third time was after the battle of Hoth, and the Empire sent in two Star Destroyers, which caused significant damage, destroying many of the Consortium’s secret projects, however, the TIE model we had survived, and is being tested for deployment. The Imperials left when the rebel alliance responded to our distress signal and sent a Mon Cala cruiser to the Consortium’s aid. This led to the Consortium’s working for the alliance for the rest of the war. The Consortium continues the fight against the Empire, attacking Imperial holdouts frequently, including a recent raid on the Pentastar Alignment that cost the Imps an Incursor-class cruiser.

About the Incursor-class cruiser:

The Incursor class cruiser, a 400 meter long ship with extra powerful weapons for a ship of it’s size, is perfect for occupying fringe worlds, and conducting hit-and-run attacks. It’s hangar bays can hold up to a squadron of TIEs, a Lambda-class shuttle, and several TIE troop transports. The ship’s two heavy laser cannon and 4 medium turbolaser turrets can inflict substantial damage to enemy ships.

Good to see you again

No, because RR was so discombobulated due to me not really knowing what I wanted to do with it, instead we are starting where risen rebellion started off

Ah gotcha, sounds good! I'll get started updating my apps to the new form :)

Name: Martius Shan (alias Martius Kellar)
Age: 47
Personality: The devastating fall of the Jedi Order and Republic and years of hard living without his connection to the Force have left Martius largely jaded and withdrawn, and as sarcasm and alcohol have become his primary coping mechanisms he's become increasingly difficult to get to know and get along with. However, the Jedi of old has not yet been entirely extinguished, and though he'd deny it, Martius is still an honorable man at his core and will do what he can to help the oppressed and downtrodden.
Skills: Exceptionally talented strategist and tactician, excellent lightsaber duelist (specializing in Djem So and Soresu), very good pilot, well educated and well-versed in Galactic history
Bio:
Born into a family with a long history of a strong connection to the Force going back countless generations, it was no surprise when Martius was discovered to be Force Sensitive. He was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant while still an infant, and was raised by the Order. Like many younglings he trained under Master Yoda for much of his youth, until completing his Initiate Trials at the age of 10 and becoming a Padawan. A natural with a lightsaber, he caught the eye of the Echani Jedi Master Meetra Fenni, who would go on to select him as her apprentice. Eager to impress his new Master, Martius was extremely diligent in his training with Master Fenni, and learned a great deal in a short amount of time. Meetra was impressed enough by Martius' performance that she even began to train him in the Echani martial arts in addition to his Jedi studies.

After learning the basics of the lightsaber forms, Martius decided to focus his studies on Form V Djem So, which he studied with his master and further supplemented with the Echani techniques she taught him, and Form III Soresu, which he learned from the Jedi Battlemaster Cin Drallig alongside a number of other Padawans. When not studying on Coruscant, Martius accompanied his Master on a variety of adventures (and the occasional misadventure) ranging from mediating negotiations to battling pirates in the Outer Rim. While studying for his Trials he also became very interested in Galactic History, particularly when he learned that an ancestor of his named Satele had once been none other than the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. History continued to be a major point of interest for him, even after successfully completing his Trials and becoming a Jedi Knight, to the point that he even once considered becoming a full-fledged Jedi Historian.

Martius still stuck with his Master for a few years after attaining Knighthood, feeling there was still much he could learn from her, and the two got in a number of scuffles with the Trade Federation in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Unfortunately however, those small fights could not prepare them for the scale of combat they would face on the planet of Geonosis. Though Martius would survive the battle, thanks in large part to ARC Commander Maverick, the clone who would later become his XO, his Master was not so fortunate. In the wake of Meetra's death, Martius began devoting every waking moment to honoring her memory and sacrifice by doing everything in his power to preserve the Republic and the Jedi Order by winning the war they were now faced with, at any cost.

Thanks in large part to his studies of military history, Martius proved to be an exceptional strategist, and unlike most Jedi, tended to focus on the long term benefits and detriments of his actions, rather than their immediate consequences. This led to Martius developing a sort of "Needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few" mentality, and that combined with his devotion for the Republic's cause would serve him well over the next three years as he led the 53rd Legion in battles all over the Galaxy: from the crystalline skyscrapers of Christophsis, to the shadow world of Umbara, the dense jungles of Felucia, and most everything in between. Martius, Maverick, and the 53rd all fought valiantly in each engagement they found themselves thrust into, and the Jedi General received numerous commendations for his actions in the war, including the Cross of Glory for tireless fighting in liberating the planet of Garos IV despite having been severely injured by Separatist artillery.

This mentality would eventually come to backfire on Martius however, when in 19BBY the Jedi was informed that a civil war had broken out on the planet of Tinnel IV, and that one of the factions in that war had defected to the Separatists. When the CIS deployed an army of battle droids to back up their faction, Martius was ordered to drive them off the planet. When he arrived however, he quickly learned that his task would be far more difficult than was originally thought, as the super tactical droid commander employed a strategy similar to that used at Nabat on the planet Ryloth, only considerably more refined. The droid commander on Tinnel IV occupied the Separatist faction's Capital, a major port city on the planet, and instead of grouping his proton cannons in a small area with a small amount of civilians near the weapons to deter a direct assault, it had proton cannons placed all throughout the port, using all of its denizens and infrastructure to deter an attack. The super tactical droid was also intelligent enough to bring far more cannons than were used at Ryloth.

After driving the Sepratist flotilla out of the system in a short skirmish, Martius' fleet orbited the planet, and after examining the situation Martius and his advisors decided to try and replicate Obi-Wan's strategy at Nabat under the cover of darkness, and after night fell on the port city Martius and a group of some 200 clone troopers set out in ten gunships towards the planet's surface in an attempt to land outside the port, sneak in, and disable the guns. Unfortunately, the super tactical droid expected the Jedi to do precisely that, and shortly after entering the planet's atmosphere the gunships were subjected to a massive barrage of AA fire. In a matter of seconds seven of the gunships were destroyed, and with no hope of making it to the surface intact, Martius ordered the remaining gunships to return to the fleet.

Upon returning to his flagship, Martius discussed the situation with his advisors and things weren't looking pretty. They'd received reports that the flotilla they drove out of the system had linked up with a Separatist fleet, and that that fleet seemed to be headed towards the Tinnel System. Martius' subordinates had already contacted the Republic to request reinforcements, but had been informed that the Republic fleet was overstretched as it was, and that they simply didn't have any reinforcements to send. Meanwhile, it appeared that much of the Separatist army in the port city was preparing to mobilize and begin its conquest of the rest of the planet. Martius knew that if the droids weren't defeated before their fleet arrived and established a blockade, the droids would likely be able to conquer the entire planet before the Republic could muster enough forces to attempt to drive them from the world, and if they managed to set up more of those proton cannons on the surface by then the Republic would almost certainly sustain extremely heavy losses in any such campaign; losses the Republic simply could not afford, and if they were unable to reclaim a Core World it could well cost the Republic the war. With little time to think, Martius weighed what few options he had and ultimately decided that the fate of the Republic and the lives of the people of an entire planet outweighed those of the people in a single city, and ordered an orbital bombardment of the port.

Within minutes, the proton cannons and the entire Separatist army was destroyed as the port city was reduced to ash. When the Separatist fleet learned of the bombardment, they decided it was simply not worth the resources to attempt another invasion, and were diverted to other systems. The battle for the Tinnel System was won in a single stroke, but at a heavy cost; over 50,000 civilians were killed in the bombardment, and the ripples through the Force as those countless souls cried out in terror only to be instantly silenced would haunt Martius for the rest of his life. When the dust settled and Martius returned to Coruscant, there was a great deal of debate over the his actions: some believed them to be a strategic necessity, and felt the citizens who betrayed the Republic deserved what they got; while others declared the bombardment to be barbaric and declared Martius to be the "Butcher of Tinnel IV." His strongest supporter turned out to be Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who lauded Martius' actions, and even awarded him with the Chancellor's Service Medal, declaring him the "Hero of Tinnel IV" and "A great asset to the Republic." When Martius met Palpatine in person, the Chancellor seemed almost...happy to hear about the bombardment, but the Jedi was still too shaken at the time to make anything of it.

The Jedi Council turned out to be much less understanding than the Chancellor however, and though some defended his actions as necessary, the majority of the Council found his conduct at Tinnel IV to be unbecoming of a Jedi, and called Martius before the Council to stand trial for his actions. Still guilt-ridden over what he'd done, Martius said nothing in his own defense, and so was found guilty and sentenced to exile from the Order. Wanting to get away from the war and civilization in general, Martius decided to head for Hutt Space, and eventually wound up on Nar Shaddaa: the Smuggler's Moon.

Once on Nar Shaddaa, Martius began taking whatever odd jobs he could find to survive. Eventually he managed to save up enough money to buy a small apartment, and soon grew a beard, changed his name, and got himself a blaster and a new set of clothes, hoping to get away from his old life and start anew. That old life wasn't so quick to leave him behind however, as every time he closed his eyes he could picture the faces, and hear the dying screams of the innocent people he'd ordered killed on Tinnel IV. As he struggled with the morality of his decision, he became depressed, started to drink heavily, and his fragile emotional state began to loosen his bonds to the Force. When the Jedi Purge began, he unconsciously severed those bonds altogether as the shock from the deaths of nearly everyone in his old Order combined with his already fragile state may well have killed him.

It was... difficult for the former Jedi to adjust to life without use of the Force, and harder still to come to the realization that his Master's sacrifice, and everything he had done during the war, had been completely in vain as the Republic was destroyed from within and transformed into the vile Galactic Empire. Believing the loss of his Force sensitivity to be punishment for his actions, Martius spiraled deeper into depression and alcoholism, nearly committing suicide at one point, only to be interrupted by the screams of a youngling. When he investigated the source of the screams, he discovered a group of slavers had killed the child's family and were attempting to kidnap the child; an attempt which Martius quickly put a stop to. After taking the child to her surviving relatives, Martius learned that the slavers he killed had a bounty on their heads, and after collecting on them, took up a job as a bounty hunter to put a stop to the most villainous scum that plagued Nar Shaddaa.

As the years dragged on, Martius put an end to the crime sprees of no small number of vile criminals and earned himself a sizable amount of credits doing so. Eventually he also began to come to terms with his actions during the Clone Wars and losing his sensitivity to the Force, learning how to work and fight without it. Ultimately however, profiteering off the deaths of others, no matter how vile, began to further wear on the former Jedi's conscience, and he again began drinking heavily in a futile attempt to assuage his guilt. During one particularly unfortunate bender, Martius wound up in an argument which turned into a barroom brawl with a man who turned out to be one of Nar Shaddaa's most powerful crime lords.

Packing his belongs and using most of his savings to buy an old HWK-290 freighter, Martius quickly departed the planet just before the crime lord placed a sizable bounty on his head. After spending the next few weeks drifting aimlessly across a few different planets, the Martius' remaining credits began to dwindle, and not wanting to risk looking for bounties anywhere another hunter might try to collect the bounty on his own head, began to look for another way to make a living. Fortunately he made a most fortuitous discovery one night after kicking a panel in his ship in a drunken stupor and discovered it concealed a hidden area for cargo. Further searching discovered quite a few more of these areas, and it began to appear that the vessel's previous owner had used it to transport less than legitimate cargo.

With a smuggling apparatus already in place, Martius decided to try his hand at the profession, and after searching a few cantinas managed to find himself a job. It wasn't easy, and involved a dangerous flight through a canyon narrow enough that no one else cared to risk it to keep under Imperial radar, but Martius was getting sober and desperate enough to give it a shot. Fortunately his experience flying starfighters in the Clone Wars coupled with the maneuverability of his vessel proved sufficient to complete the task, and those in the know were impressed at his abilities enough to keep sending work his way.

Eventually word of his piloting skills made its way to the fledgling Rebel Alliance which, ever in need of pilots good enough to get supplies around Imperial blockades, contracted out to Martius. No fan of the Empire, Martius was only too happy to smuggle weapons and supplies to the Alliance (and making a tidy profit to boot). At one point he even helped smuggle a crate of kyber crystals intercepted from an Imperial shipment. What the Empire wanted with a crate of kyber crystals the Jedi didn't dare ponder, but on delivery he did agree to wave his fee in exchange for one of the crystals (ostensibly as a souvenir, though in reality in the interest of constructing a new lightsaber).

Over the next few years Martius developed a reputation as one of the Alliance's best contractors, running countless tons of cargo (using the funds to help improve his ship, gather lightsaber components, and get really hammered) and even occasionally helping Rebel forces in battle. One such battle was the Battle of Endor, in which he downed over a dozen TIE fighters and Interceptors before the destruction of the second Death Star. In the months since Martius finally managed to finish constructing a new lightsaber, and has trained to refamiliarize himself with the ancient weapon and adapt his old forms to function without use of the Force as he waits to see what the Alliance has planned for their next move...

Name: Gida Amersu
Age: 40
Personality: Despite spending nearly all of her adult life fighting against the CIS or the Empire, Gida maintains a fairly light-hearted nature and often jokes around with her men. That said, when it comes to training and performing her duties, she's as no-nonsense as they come and has zero tolerance for laziness or incompetence having seen far too many good people meet an early end due to carelessness and mistakes that should've been easily avoidable.
Skills: Elite Pathfinder training, deadeye with a blaster, demolitions expert, very talented at guerilla warfare, skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and deadly with a knife
Bio: Gida'amersu was born and raised in the city of Nabat on Ryloth, and had a fairly normal childhood until the Separatists began their occupation of her world. Fortunately she was visiting friends in another city when the Separatists occupied her hometown, but her parents were taken hostage by the Separatists and used as living shields to protect their proton cannons. Outraged and longing to rescue her family, Gida joined up with the Twi'lek Resistance, and though she was only 16 proved herself to be a capable fighter. Thankfully General Kenobi was able to rescue her family and the other Twi'leks being held hostage at Nabat, but Gida decided to stay on with the Resistance until the end and fought with them in the Battle of Lessu, forcing the surrender of the Separatist commander there and ending the occupation of her world.

Unfortunately, their hard won freedom would prove to be short to last, as the Separatist occupation was soon to be replaced by an Imperial occupation following the fall of the Republic. Gida would join up with many of her former Resistance allies when the Free Ryloth movement was formed to fight against the Empire. She continued fighting on Ryloth for over a decade until the Battle of Yavin convinced her to join up with the Rebel Alliance to help not only drive the Empire from Ryloth but to destroy it altogether. Her extensive experience in guerrilla warfare made her a natural choice for the Alliance Special Forces, and she completed officer training with the group with flying colors. She was given command of a Pathfinder Platoon and proved to be an excellent leader and fighter, quickly rising up through the ranks. She particularly distinguished herself at the Battle of Endor where she was awarded the Medal of Alderaan for her actions there and given command of the SpecForce Pathfinders 2nd Regiment, which she has worked hard to train into one of the most elite units in the Rebel Alliance.

Name: Liu Bao Rui
Age: 56
Personality: Liu Bao Rui is known among his men to be both kind and fair. It isn't uncommon to see Liu Bao Rui walking alongside the enlisted members of his crew while amiably chatting like they were old friends. He is, however, known to be a harsh disciplinarian and is known to dish out harsh punishments to anyone in the crew, no matter their rank or connections. That particular trait had caused him to alienate a super minority of his former subordinates when he was still a part of the Guard d'Azure. He is a diligent and cautious man, constantly worrying over the most menial of issues. He is willing to listen to superior officers as long as it kept his crew safe.
Skills: A skilled naval officer specialized in large scale naval engagements. He was one of the most talented graduates of the College for Planetary Security Forces, graduating within the top ten in the academy. While he is skilled as a naval officer, he is also capable of personal combat, especially with a vibrosword.
Bio:
Born on the fortress world of Anaxes, which was once known as the defender of the core, Liu Bao Rui was expected ever since birth to join the Guard d'Azure as his forefathers had before him. His family was one of the most influential and storied on the planet, with their family name synonymous with naval service. Like many families with a rich naval history, they owned an estate in the Sirpar hills. Due to their family's history, influence, personal brilliance, his father was a commodore within the Guard d'Azure. His flagship, eternal peace, was one of three Procurator class star battle cruisers that were active in the Guard d'Azure. The ship had been apart of their family for nearly one hundred years. His mother was an instructor in the College of Planetary Security Forces, which is on the Anaxes Citadel. His elder brother was a student in college by the time Liu Bao Rui turned 5. Like his father, his elder brother was considered a skilled naval commander and tactician. Growing up, Liu Bao Rui was feed stories about his ancestors, who helped defend the Republic from the sith and various other threats. His father, when he was home, would always tell him stories about his adventures, such as fighting off pirates when he survived in the judiciary forces of the Republic.

As a teenager growing up on Anaxes, his parents taught him much about the history of the planet and its proud naval traditions. During his offtime, he would practice sword fighting. Since he was a regular human, this was a hobby more than anything serious. After all, what could a human vibrosword user do against a crowd or mob armed with slugthrower or laser weaponry? Despite his informal training, he would become talented enough for his family to hire an instructor to train him in using a vibrosword. During this period, his skills with the vibrosword improved leaps and bounds. By the age of 16, he was one of the most talented duelists in the nearby region. It was during one of these training sessions that he would suffer a horrendous injury. He had left his guard open due to arrogance. Due to that arrogance, he failed to see a strike aimed at his chest. The excruciating pain caused him to faint, and when he awoke, he was in his family's estate. The gash had healed by the time he awoke, but it left a permanent scar and taught a lesson to the young man.

In 34 BBY, the same year that he would enter the College of Planetary Security Forces, the battle of Malastare Narrows occurred. For Liu Bao Rui, this showcased just how weak the Republic had become, and as an adult, he would support the military creation act. During his time in the academy, he was a diligent student, listening and taking notes during every lecture and lesson. During exams and mock battles, he would consistently rank among the top of his class, and by the time graduation came, he was ranked number five in his class. He joined the Guard d'Azure as a Junior Lieutenant serving aboard a dreadnaught heavy cruiser. His family's political influence and his skills helped him quickly move through the ranks, reaching the rank of captain by the age of 26. He was to command a CR90 Corvette. The corvette would be his flagship until he became a Lieutenant Commander at the age of 28. After that, he would be given the command of a Dreadnought class heavy cruiser. Despite the militaristic traditions of the planet, he had little to no real combat experience before the outbreak of the clone wars. He would occasionally stop smugglers, but other than that, the core proved to be a peaceful place. During this time, the separationist movement was increasingly becoming more worrisome. He did not understand how loyal Republican citizens and planets were willing to break away from the Republic and pledge allegiance to another man. It was treason, and he was not the only one that felt that way. It was no surprise to him and his family when the first battle of Geonosis happened. His father would pay for the Eternal Flame back to the Kaut drive yards for it to be refitted for war, while Liu Bao Rui and his brother were commissioned as a Lieutenant Commodore and Rear Admiral respectively. His father would send the procurator to be refitted at the Kaut Driveyards.

Liu Bao Rui would be a part of several major engagements during the Clone wars including the battle of Christophsis, where he would be apart of the relief forces sent to aid Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Admiral Wulf Yularen. He would perform admirably during this battle and would be promoted to the rank of Commodore. His father's procurator would be finished refitting in 20 BBY. His new flagship, Swift Winds, would take part in the Malevolence campaign. These battles gave the young commodore the experience he needed, along with showing him the truth about war. In 19 BBY, with the establishment of the Empire, Liu Bao Rui felt betrayed by the chancellor that he had once supported. Despite this, in the same year, he was promoted for his actions during and after the malevolence campaign. The Jedi, while no friends of his, were a stabilizing force in the galaxy, and he failed to see how they would revolt against the very Republic that they had fought for and defended for several millennia. He was further outraged when many generationals were demoted or outright replaced with what he saw as incompetent naval officers. He would continue to serve the new Empire, as it was his duty, but the longer he served, the more disgruntled he became. In 10 BBY, he would be contacted by a local rebel cell asking him to desert. Despite, his dissatisfaction with the Empire, he still believed in the Empire and the peace and stability it brought with it.

In 5 BBY, his dissatisfaction with the Empire reached a boiling point, after he was demoted for refusing to fire on a civilian convoy after his superior ordered him to. After returning to his homeworld of Annaxes, he took all the credits he could, before contacting the local rebel cell and officially joined the alliance to restore the republic. That same rebel cell would leave He would be given one of the few CR90s. In 3 BBY, they would meet up with the main rebel fleet, and he was promoted to the rank of commodore and was given command of a dreadnaught class heavy cruiser. His dreadnought class heavy cruiser was destroyed during a skirmish against an Imperial patrol in 2 ABY, and he was one of the lucky few who managed to escape. With the destruction of his ship, he would lay low for a while, before reestablishing contact with the main alliance cell in 3 ABY. During the battle of Endor, he would lead an MC75, but due to the foreign design, he didn't know how to operate the ship effectively. During this battle, he would relegate command of the ship to his XO, who was more familiar with the ship. He would witness the destruction of the second death star from his bridge. After the battle of Endor, he would be given the command of Emancipator, an Imperial Star destroyer 1, after which was captured by general Han Solo during the Battle of Endor.
