I aim with this is a, contrary to the small arsenal he carries, to play this as a lonesome wonder type of deal trying to avoid conflict as much as possible and ponder the facts of the universe while High on LSD.

I want to respect your role as a preferably pacifist lonesome wanderer. Though I also would like to set up opportunities where all or most players can interact with each other in some ways. Would it be too great an overstep to start the rp in a situation that, regardless of faction affiliation or occupation, pins everyone in a conflict where they must cooperate to overcome? Perhaps everyone has been captured by the Mothman cultists and must either undergo tortuous rituals to be reconditioned into a cultist or use their natural wit and cooperation to escape?

I am somewhat cautious... Yes, there is a Communist base of Chinese ghouls in the game. But I am afraid that it would be difficult for any sort of neutral or positive interactions with the other players. Can you elaborate on what you planned on rping as the ghoul?

Probably as an antagonist, maybe attempt to set up another base of operations. The ghoul would likely be hostile to practically everyone except for maybe wandering survivors.

Of course, unless they are part of the enclave or brotherhood. Mothmen might be crazy, but he isn't going to work with anyone associated with the prewar american government or military, unless they left before the war started.

Again, I am somewhat hesitant just because of how hostile the communist faction is to others and how others are to communists. But I am cautiously optimistic! And an antagonistic force wouldn't be bad at all. It might just be harder to get everyone to come together without killing each other. That being said, feel free to write up and submit your app whenever!

Works for me, though I will say that he's a pacifist out of choice, he's more then willing to should his rifle and lay some hatred down.

He's pretty well armed and carries a good chunk of ammo.

Side note, the 10mm listed is the Fallout 4 Version, I much prefer it's smaller size.

I find this humorous, I wonder how it will play out when he realizes China likely doesn't exist either.

I could definitely see people being hostile though not immediately confrontive to communists. Especially in the early idea for a start. I am very excited to get started here. On another note, should I have included an equipment list with my characters? I think I may have missed that.

I'd recommend it, I did mostly to keep track of things. I'll actually have a proper list soon.

I have an idea for you guys, OPs specifically.

An animal companion for Jack, one he found as an infant and has raised over the 3 years since the bombs dropped.

The first idea I had was a Jaguar, an American Jaguar found either orphaned in the wild, or in the ruins of an old world zoo. The big cat would hold an implicit trust for Jack, being hand raised from a young age and the two would watch each other's backs. While keeping the same spotted pattern that all jaguars exhibit but could shift it's pigment due to some mutation, not true camouflage, but it could shift its pigmentation to blend in better when greenery and the like.

Could even go so far as to have Jack communicate to a lesser degree with whistles and other audio cues. It would also serve as one of the last reasons he still hasn't eaten a bullet, using the cat as emotional support.

Regarding equipment, it isn't required but it might be helpful to tack onto your app. If I do go through with the Mothman capture scenario, you will be temporarily stripped of most of your equipment. But you can retrieve it at the cultist base upon your escape. Or you can become one with Mothman and be given it back once you convert to a cultist. :¬))))

No. I set the rp around two or so years before the virus hit so that the prominent factions of 76 like Responders and Free States and Enclave are alive and well. Whether the scorched plague will ever be a part of this rp is undecided, but I'm leaning towards not having the plague be a thing in our rp. Lorewise, the plague decimated the population and gave no one a fighting chance which is why Im against that.
