Bro you think I’m gonna come over and enslave you? Y’all are trade partners. There’s literally nothing you have worth spilling Aksumite blood over. Now tbf we’re motivated by fear too.

Yes.

I mean you’re justified in a sense, but again there’s nothing really motivating it. There’s a reason everyone kinda just ignores Arabia for most of history. I have reasons for acting in the southern part of the Peninsula that are well, kinda resource related but mostly a position matter. Something that doesn’t apply to you. In the end tho, Oliva couldn’t possibly know what’s going through Andrews mind until she meets him.

I laughed harder than I should have when I read “war atrocities”. A little light ethnic cleansing in a solid day’s work.

Unless an author is some mad despot (glares at Isaac) Andrew meta wise wouldn’t want to kill authors. At worst he’d take them captive, and have them be his friend. Why? Cause there’s just some things people don’t get unless you were there.

Leaning pretty hard into the Ethiopian aspect of your culture I see - I dig it 8)

Also, in your post I heard tell of a camel train.

I don't remember you domesticating camels ( I might have missed it ).

I acquired them from elsewhere, and took that experience to domesticate more groups we found from what I recall. How explicit in that sentiment I can’t recall

Elsewhere? Unless another author domesticated camels, the natural domestication of camels wont be for another 2,000 years. I must say too, domesticating a camel is much different from breaking a horse ( if you have any experience with the latter ).

Edit: I also really liked Andrew's monologuing about the war to come

Well, they received the teachings by-proxy from Axumite Christian missionaries years ago... but with isolation and a new prophet they are very different.

Well local Aksumite christans are going to have serious beef wih them. That said, I shoud try telling them stop being heretics before the church says anything more punitive. unless this prophet guy is the crazy sort.

Edit: On a differnt note, did J post Iris in the gallery? Im thinking over an Andrew one too.
