Vichter is slightly less pro-choice but on the whole would be considered pro-choice. SSM is a 'settled' issue, and he now supports the right of same-sex couples to marry.

He sounds Central or Eastern European... and Karel likes that of course, and he likes that he’s privately conservative on social issues as well hehe

First of many edits to come, have adjusted his views. Mimicked Sherrod Brown on abortion and SSM just made him more Obama-y on evolving views.

I stole from Sherrod Brown’s views a bit as well, although Nick is more like a Paul Wellstone if you know who that is

I'm going to be away for a week :(

So might not be active on the day of the NH results, if it continues to follow IRL 1 day to IC 1 day - which is totally fine with me.

Tbh Linda never did say that she would cut jobs, just that the state of Texas would end up having to come off of the oil industry because oil is limited.

I write mine like this, We need to do X, in fact I met someone who went through X here's what I'm going to do to fix X, and thats how we can fix X and help many people. And then sometimes, Linda trails off into other topics.

Texas is not a state with a big batch of people motivated by identity politics. I understand she's your first Democrat, and I'm sorry if I came off as rude or brash. (it's also 2am, me sowwy)

Texas Democrats have spent years cultivating policy focused moderate politicians. Suraj Shah won a special election which came down to turnout, a general election will not be down to turnout - it will be down to persuadability and the ability of a Democrat to distinguish themselves from the party's national brand without becoming an independent, it comes down to turnout PLUS appeal to rural and urban conservatives alike. If she holds those views, appeal to those demographics you mentioned on the issues, identity politics ironically doesn't motivate the people within that identity group, it motivates woke white people, who don't exist in Texas.

As for gun rights: Any who, I do think that guns need to be registered, and do need to have a background check to purchase them.

You're going through a learning experience and that's good - it's really good - I think my exasperation and other Admins is more that she is the type of Democrat who COULD do relatively well in a swing state, Texas is not a swing state, it not a lean R state it is a likely R state. If you want to win, if you want to win and win convincingly, telegram/ask for tips, nobody will crucify you for curiosity, and branching out is good.

Ask questions, I believe Kelvi or Dent can offer good pointers there.

Write it in first person essay format, occasional personal anecdotes and if you're so inclined, attempt to make it funny. Is this for your Michigan dude?
