Douglas Omar Tremblay was born in 1958 in the small mill town of Lincoln, Maine in Penobscot County. He had a typical lower middle class upbringing, enjoying winters filled with sledding and producing maple syrup, and spending summers at his family’s one bedroom cottage on the island of Vinalhaven. John Tremblay, Douglas’s father, was a clerk at the local mill and his mother was a homemaker. Throughout his childhood, Douglas university as outdoorsy- rising to the rank of Eagle Scout in his Scout troop, and taking up hobbies like canoeing, hunting, hiking, and sailing. He was also fairly smart, doing well enough in school to attend the tiny Colby College in Waterville, where he earned a degree in English, which he intended to use to become a teacher in his home town.

MI and MN go into lockdown with Murphy, WI becomes difficult for the Republican. Ohio and Iowa turn into tossups. However, he is sacrificing margins in blue and red states, to do that which bodes pretty poorly for downballot races.
