My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: The Novakian Empire
Character Name: Caleb Schumann
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 27
Character Height: 5'10
Character Weight: 194 lbs
Character Position/Role/Job: Local Sports Talk Show Host
Appearance: Image
Character State of Origin: North Carolina
Character State of Residence: North Carolina
Character Party Affiliation: Independent (Formerly Democrat)
Main Strengths: Strongwilled, Persistent, Personable, Crafty.
Main Weaknesses: Headstrong, Reckless, Short-fused.
Biography: Born in Colerain, North Carolina on July 18th 1992, Caleb was born to Canadian immigrants from Calgary, Alberta. Caleb's parents, being rather poor and not having enough money to live in one of the larger cities in the region, were forced to reside in Colerain by economic necessity. Not coming from means, Caleb never expected to make much of himself growing up, believing he would be like his parents; working on the many farms in the area, scraping together enough money to live, nothing more. Still, Caleb worked hard in school, aspiring to achieve.. Something. He began to develop and, by ninth grade, the school's football coach took note of his stature and imposing build and approached him about playing in his local high school football team; Caleb, wishing for something to do, eagerly accepted. He quickly developed skill in and even excelled in the sport, primarily playing in the Fullback position, frequently powering through opposing defenses. This success continued into college, though he was looked over by some of the larger schools and eventually committed to UNC, playing with them for two years before declaring for the 2013 NFL draft. Though viewed as a good physical specimen, he was seen as too much of a wildcard and a prospect by most teams, and was consequentially taken by the Carolina Panthers in the fourth round, after running back DeAngelo Williams was injured in a week thirteen defeat the previous year against the Kansas City Chiefs. Though the concerns about Caleb being a loose cannon were largely valid, he performed generally well in the triple-option based offense ran by Carolina, and developed a good rapport with the team, especially the Quarterback Cameron Newton and Defensive End Greg Hardy, and the team were playoff contenders for the next two years.
And then came 2015. That year, everything went right in Charlotte. The Panthers seemed unbeatable, with Cam having fully developed into his own as a Quarterback and leading Carolina on a crusade, winning game after game after game, smashing almost every team in their way (save for two incredibly close games against the Colts and Falcons, which were won by a last-minute field goal and a game-ending pick six by Josh Norman, respectively. Aside from hiccups in the second quarter of the divisional round against the Seahawks, the playoffs were a breeze, landing the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, specifically altered from it's characteristic roman numbering system for the special occasion, against the Denver Broncos.

(NOT INCLUDING THIS)

Thanks to the great efforts of all of the Carolina Panthers, including Caleb Schumann, a Lombardi Trophy finally went to Charlotte. Unfortunately, the cost, however, was an injury that would ultimately prove to be enough to make Caleb decide to end his career on a high note, rather than continue to play and potentially suffer worse and worse injuries like so many before him. Caleb enjoyed a calm retirement for a few years, but, ever the athlete, was convinced to return to sports, though not the kind he was familiar with; After the domestic abuse scandal involving his long-time girlfriend, Greg Hardy left the NFL in disgrace, and, after some time in retirement, convinced his old friend, Caleb, to venture into the sport of Mixed Martial Arts with him. Caleb had a short stint there, going on a four fight unbeaten streak before deciding to quit, feeling unmotivated as he did not enjoy fighting or hurting anybody, especially in light of his experience recovering from his own injuries.
Still, his experiences in MMA did have a bright spot. As fighters in the sport are supposed to use their rhetorical skills (if, indeed, they possess any) to help promote themselves, Caleb demonstrated his own ability with words, which was taken note of by a number of radio news media outlets in North Carolina, specifically sports talk shows. When Caleb inevitably decided to call it quits in MMA, he quickly found a job working as a football radio talk show host in Elizabeth City, where he has found a decent amount of success and listeners across a decent part of the tidewater. Recently, his topics of conversation have begun to take on a more and more political tone, as the election nears, and as he finds himself totally disillusioned with the republican party after the presidency of Arnold Wolf, a man he originally voted for, and disappointed with the seemingly impotent Democratic Party, which holds virtually no sway in the Tidewater, and has not topped more than around 30% of the vote in a congressional election there in his living memory.

Other Info: Although largely apolitical in his youth, Caleb, during his time on the Carolina Panthers roster, began developing sympathies towards the Democratic party as early as late 2013, observing the stark difference in the way his friend and quarterback, Cameron Jerrell Newton, was treated by sports media, in comparison to a veteran white quarterback such as Jake Delhomme. Furthermore, working in a majority African-American workplace, he often heard of the experiences his teammates had to deal with involving Racial Discrimination, and doing his own research into North Carolina's historical treatment of minority groups, was appalled after digging into the often messy and dark history of the region. Caleb was convinced by his teammates to join them in efforts to support the Democratic Party locally, and soon he was a card-carrying member of the party. However, this being the south, his efforts were never met with much success, and he gradually grew disillusioned with the corruption and lack of concern for the average person that Politicians, of either side, held. In mid-2016, after retiring from the NFL, Caleb decided to quit politics altogether, cancelling his membership in the Democratic Party and focusing more on his personal life, deciding to move away from Charlotte back to more familiar country in the Tidewater, purchasing an empty plot of land along the Chowan River by Holladay Island, and building a ranch there where he could live quietly.
However, with the arrival of election season, Caleb found himself getting caught up in the grassroots, populist movement behind Arnold Wolf, believing him to be an outsider who could shake up the establishment which he had so little faith in and, quite honestly, despised. Caleb had his doubts about him, especially with regards to the accusations of Arnold Wolf being a Racist and/or a Sexist, but was able to suppress them, convincing himself that people were overreacting and overblowing some poorly thought-out jokes. Indeed, living in North Carolina, he was certainly used to remarks of the type that Wolf made so often. Though he did not find himself having a very active role in supporting the campaign due to rehabilitating his injuries from the superbowl, Caleb decided to vote for Wolf in the presidential election, helping support the Republican Party in their massive upset of the Democrats, though if only in an exceedingly marginal manner.
Caleb was initially elated by Wolf's election, having not expected to actually be successful in defeating the establishment forces in control of the Democratic Party (especially when told constantly by the polls that, in fact, he would not.) but, as Wolf's presidency dragged on, Caleb gradually found himself regretting his choice of vote, discovering that many of the accusations tendered towards Wolf during the election season (though, not all) were indeed true. Caleb also found himself growing tired of Wolf's bombastic and insulting manner, having been raised to believe in the value of civility and courtesy towards others. Caleb decided to himself that he would not be swayed by another charlatan like Wolf, or typical lying, establishment candidate the Democratic Party managed to come up with next time, and quit politics for good. As of lately, Caleb has largely honoured that promise, though he finds himself gradually getting dragged more and more into the realm of Politics yet again, especially as he watches the BLM protests throughout the nation, and his former teammates even kneeling in games to protest racial injustice. Empathising with the intentions of the BLM movement if not necessarily their actions, and with his frustration with the Wolf/Tawney administration growing by the day, Caleb has begun speaking on his radio show more and more frequently about political issues, to mixed reactions from his viewership.

Not if mighty Maplevale buys up Tenson Oil, Triple C, Brown Coal, Chamber Investments, and Brookeshire Grocery to form a super-conglomerate that will control all the businesses in the world.

This is my optimistic prediction for the election--I think Trump is gonna have some of the narrowest margins of victory in places like Missouri, Mississippi, and Georgia, while Biden barely takes independent-minded red states Alaska and Montana.

I also think McGrath is gonna lose Kentucky, but that Bollier, Hegar, Gross, Harrison, and Bullock have solid chances, while I vow to eat my shoes if Kelly, Gideon, Cunningham, and Hickenlooper lose.

Either way, I don't really see a way for the Republicans to hold their Senate majority through this election, and I wouldn't be too surprised if the Democrats got close to a supermajority.
