Berlin isn't in West Germany at all in this RP....

Somehow I managed to see ‘West Germany’
I question my sanity.

Also it's not like the lives of every citizen in a country can or really should be dictated by one sole player. It helps to spice things up a bit and clearly in this case wasn't godmodding.

Yeah, but it’s not like a soldier would go up and randomly shoot someone Chinese. This isn’t the US.

1) Not yet. East Pakistan is still East Pakistan in Pakistani eyes but there is an ongoing war and independence movement to free East Pakistan and form Bangladesh. IRL Bangladesh came into being in 1971. It's 1970 at the moment.

2) I mean, you can claim East Germany as you're land, but it's de-jure independent and it's own country.

I'll admit that it's highly unlikely that an East German soldier would shoot someone in the middle of Berlin. Though it's possible the person was trying to attack someone or possibly was ploting some other malicious act. Though in this case I'd say racial discrimination wouldn't be the case for the shooting since an East German soldier would have no reason to do so unless there was a threat to the lives of the people of East Germany and/or the soldier.

Finding historical lists is a pain in the arse, though. WIkipedia doesn't offer much in the way of an Indian ORBAT from 1970, for example, even if it is pretty good for the modern military. The best source I ended up finding was a declassified document from the CIA: https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom ... 0003-0.pdf. There might be something similar on the US?

If you don't like that rule, then why are you playing? Three paragraphs is the requirement to be active here.

I apologise for that. I was trying to add some historical realism on anti-Chinese sentiment after trying to do the research, but this was a bit of an epic fail here. I wasn't trying to godmode in any way.

They aren't big fans of us given we are more a socialist-social democracy leaning republic whereas they are reactionary monarchies. Plus we are comprised of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria and occupied Saudi Arabia, so we already control the good and important parts of the Arab world.

Gaddafi was pro-Nasserist and is also pro-UAR. He was that way IRL and since he is an NPC he is also that way in this RP. There would be no need to go to war over Libya to take it.

Tunisia and Lebanon are whole other stories though, as are the Trucial States.
