One misty morning, you weak up to the sound of your ratling windows. A magnificent, white owl is standing outside, holding a small letter in its beak. As you walk closer, it waits patiently for the window to open, at which point it lets go of the latter, looks at you inquisitively for a few seconds, perhaps to make sure he got the right person, and then flies away.
Whats the meaning of this?
The stamp on the letter depicts an old lady in a pointy hat brewing something in a claudron.
Would this have anything to do with that strange dream you had one night. It was a full moon, and you got the sudden idea to play a witch, got on your mothers's broom and to you surprise, begun floating midair. The brew flew you out the window and rose above the clouds. The stars glimmering above, the city sleeping below, smoke rising from the forest of chimneys, rooftop windows going dark one by one. It was exciting, and cold, and dizzying. It wasn't long before you lost your balance and plummeted downwards, crashing into the churchtower on the other side of town. It felt quite real... but after knocking over several gargoyels and breaking through the stained glass, you awoke in your bed, thinking to yourself:
"What a dream"
You open the letter. It reads:
Dear Magically Gifted
Your application to Arcwald School of Spellcasting and Enchanting has been denied. Your lineage is not deemed sufficiently pure for safe use of magic. Please keep in mind that the statute of secrecy still applies to you, and you are not to use any kind of magic outside of the wizarding districts. You are also prohibited from using any kind of magic within the wizarding districts, since you lack the qualifications from any certified wizarding institute.
Consequently, you are hereby prohibited from using any and all magic under any and all circumstances.
This includes: spellcasting (all schools (especially elemental magic)), mixing of potions, enchantment, flying, making prophecies, breeding magical creatures.
This decision is final and irreversible.

Your parents, after reading it for themselves, said its just some elaborate prank, and that there is nothing you should worry about. But later that day mother seems Melancholic, and Father angry. Not at you, but at some other people.
You decide to keep the letter safe. Its quite fancy, and the stamp, a work of art. In fact, it seems like every day the witch on the stamp is doing something different. Tonight she's flying on a broom.
