Abraham claims to have fought fiercely in the Mexican-American and later Yuma Wars under General Heintzelman though in truth he served in a freelance capacity as a scout and messenger and has never actually fought or killed anyone but relied on his intimidating looks make himself seem more dangerous than he really is. He was born into a family of actors but left the theatre behind to become a frontiersman.

Currently finds himself in East Zilch where is has been appointed Deputy Marshall on account of his military experience and self-professed fearsome reputation.

I like this character and what he brings. At the same time, you may consider changing his job to "deputy sheriff" instead of "deputy marshall." Not sure U.S. marshalls had deputies. There is also a Sheriff in town, a kindly old gentleman named Sheriff Lawson "Law" Norder, an NPC. But if you want to stick with a deputy marshall, that's fine with me too. I don't have any big qualms.
