1098Ad :When Vik Ulfedgen and his crew set out in search of lands told in fables, they sail out into the North sea above the coast of Britain. He famously released ravens in all directions and went in the way of the one that didn’t come back. They landed on the sures of an island that he named after himself, Vikland, he threw a spear into the ground and said “ The city that goes here will be named Vik”.

1123Ad : Eik Ulfedgen Vik’s son determined to carry on his father’s legacy sets sail from vik further west, yet again he discovers an island but this time after being washed away by a storm. Just like his father he names the island after himself Eikland and the city that was founded their “Eikburg”.

1254 Ad: Leif erikson sets even further west than ever before, he stumbles across a land he calls Vinland due to the vast quantities of grapes (even if they were cranberries). He also discovers native peoples with whom he and his settlement lives with peace. The city they founded there they named Novo Stavanger. This colony will last until The UK seizes it in a brief war of colonisation.

1355 Ad: A royal marriage occurs between Sveadin and Norvay sealing the dynastic union between the two kingdoms.

1598 Ad: War erupts between Sveadin and Norvay on one side and Great Eliean on the other. Great Eliean seizes the Colony of Vinland and defeats the Novaygan navy stationed there in the battle of New Stavanger. Peace is soon achieved and Norvay loses its only colonial possession the oldest colony in Amalia.

1687: War breaks out between Alborg and Sveadin (who is backed up by Norvay it ended with the successful siege of Kopenghan and Alborg was forced to concede Ondance to Sveadin.

1712: The Union between Sveadin and Norvay is fully sealed when the two countries unify into the United Kingdoms of Sveadin and Norvay

1750: Vikland and Eikland attempt to gain their independence but are unsuccessful. Sveadin-Norvay tighten their grip on the colony removing some of its political powers.

1812: The great Nordic Revolution happens which starts as a peasant revolt ends in the abdication of the King and the end of Sveadin-Norvay. With the signing of the treaty of Kalmar, The republic of Norsia is founded with its capital in Orebro.

1820: Alborg joins the republic of Norsia diplomatically.

1836: The question of Vikland and Eikland is brought about as to whether they should be granted independence, they choose to grant it greater autonomy instead.

1850: The language conversion act is passed by the House of representatives. This act attempts to rewrite the Nordic languages into one single language (as of now ic its completion is nearly finished with few words remaining different across the 3 main Languages)

1890:The deal of the colony rights is passed Vikland and Eikland can declare independence whenever they choose to however it has to be approved by at least 40% of the house of representatives currently it has never reached beyond 10%

1911: war breaks out in europe So the government decides to remain neutral but they support Acusia through a lend-lease

1928: the nationalist socialist party is founded and starts winning more seats, fearing a civil war the party is deemed Illegal. Riots start but after a propaganda scheme The riots cease.

1955: The economy starts to explode as oil sales increase creating far more jobs and reducing the popularity of Extremist parties.

1976: Norsia launch A satellite into orbit Called the Eikcraft 4513 This satellite Is the first to take pictures of the aurora borealis from space.


1989: After Acusia withdraws from the League of free nations, Norsia being a historical partner of Acusia and fearing an Elieanic domination of the North sea, Norsia joins isfahan.

I'd like to request that the costs of Submarines fall to 2 Navy Points and SLBM upgrade falls to 3 Navy points.
I ask this as Destroyer costs 4 points just like the Sub but has better stats overall thus making Subs not worth it save for SLBMs which 9 navy points for what amounts to 1 missile (that can carry 8 warheads) doesn't seem valid.

Clarity question: how many SLBMs can a sub with the upgrade carry?

Colony denied over lack of historical justification. The proposed history does not make sense an Independent nation splitting in two over whether or not they want to be a colony? We assume history is the same as IRL so Chile still left the Spanish Empire nearly 100 before your event. No realistic nation would consider giving up independence as a mean for security. Thus, where do these Iberian Royalists come from? Why are they "Iberian Royalist," the UKI didn't exist in 1912, its before the Scot-UKI split.

Hey so I'm looking to create a potential storyline, involving a feud / standoff between the Sicilian Mafia and a few anti-mafia political factions, led by the local Communist Party. The Communist Party in Italy and the Sicilian Mafia irl did have a bit of a feud for most of the cold war, so I took inspiration from irl events in coming up with this idea. Here's a rough idea of how the story would play out:

• The center-left coalition in charge of the government (led by the Federalist Party, and includes the Communist Party and the Worker's Party) announces it's intentions to clean up corruption and deal with the varying clans of mafiosi that are causing problems in Sicily and the other states in Italy's South. In Sicily, local state legislators (who are members of the Communist Party) take the lead in the Sicilian Government (the majority of which is affiliated with the National Democratic Party and it's coalition)
  
• Local communist party officials begin to witness escalated harassment from mafia groups (maybe some get visited, others beat up, etc). The leading Sicilian Communists go to the State for assistance. The State of Sicilia, being run by the National Democrats and their coalition, do nothing about the escalating harassment, despite pressures from the local communist party officials.
  
• Local communist officials make an appeal to the national government in Roma to do something about the mafia related harassment being experienced by the local communists. The Communist Party in Roma convinces the Parliament to scale up their efforts.
  
• The mafia escalates tensions by doing something bad (could be some type of terrorist act, heist, idk).
  
• Communist paramilitary units mobilize against the federal government and state's orders to openly assault the mafiosi to extract revenge (for whatever the mafia does). Il Esercito Russo (Red Army) and the Mafiosi, led by the Mafiosi Corleonese, openly clash in Sicilia. Sicilia's Polizia di Stato ensure they can hold most of the major urban areas (Palermo, Messina, and Siracusa, etc), but many clashes still occur in more rural areas.
  
• The Carabinieri (or maybe the regular Army, idk) is mobilized to put down both factions.

That's just a rough timeline by the way, nothing is set in stone. And if any of the mods want to work with me to help expand the storyline and make it more interesting, that's ok with me.
