Faction: The People's Republic of Korea officially withdrew from the Eastern bloc alongside China in 1961. Currently, the PRK has aligned itself with the People's Republic of China.

History: Uh, I'll flesh this out but just know for now that the North Koreans won the civil war due to no interference from America and the U.N. Their infrastructure was preserved and in the following decades, made efforts to industrialize the south along with starting up their own nuclear program along with fighter and tank programs. During the Sino-Soviet split, they aligned themselves with China, and in 1974 developed their first nuclear weapon. In 1982, the PRK began to implement reforms similar to the PRC's.

Did you read the rules in full?:Yes

What stopped the Americans from taking action independent of the UN? They aren't gonna just let it happen.

Without a UN mandate, the Truman administration might have balked at sending troops unilaterally. In 1941, U.S. troops had embarked on a crusade against fascism. In 1950, they were fighting a “police action” against aggression (as Alan Alda asked in M*A*S*H: if Korea was a police action, where were the cops?). In fact, the United States didn’t care that much about South Korea until the Communists invaded it. In January 1950, Secretary of State Dean Acheson had omitted South Korea from a speech defining which territory was included in America’s Asian defense perimeter. Truman and his advisers also worried that the North Korean invasion was just a Soviet decoy to divert U.S. troops from defending Western Europe. If you really want to ask these types of questions, why was the kaisserreich allowed to happen by America or why would the British, French, and Americans allow for the germans to weaponize their nuclear weapons? Do you know how much the French and British feared a united Germany? A lot, and a nuclear armed Germany, especially one that is militarily strong would have frightened them even more. Before you start questioning my alternate history which is generally more realistic than yours, you need to look at your own app and fix everything that shouldn't happen such as the kaisser returning to power or how the Soviets and the western powers would allow an Imperialist Germany gain nuclear weapons.

It was ramped up after the rise of the Kaiserreich in 1975. The empire's first nuke was created in August 1982 under very top secret conditions so my program didn't come out of no where plus the Americans are assisting me. The Soviet Union has no right to restrict whether a country has nuclear weapons or not as all restrictions were lifted in 1975.

Actually there is a way to make you give up your nuclear arsenal. The Non-Proliferation Treaty that entered effect in 1970 and that both Germanies are a signatory of. Since it seems it from Soviet satellite imagery that it was broken (why else would you build ballistic missile submarines if not to equip them with nuclear warheads), there will be a tremendous ripple effect and above all, there will be consequences; namely, surrendering your nuclear arsenal.

I was curious was all. No need to snap at me. Yes, a strong Germany would make them afraid but we aren't enemies anymore. They allowed it we shall let it be as a majority of my nukes are tactical, not strategic. Makes me wonder how you got nukes in 1974 when in IRL, NK didn't test their first weapon until 2006 so if I have to guess, you are getting help from the Chinese.

Yes I apologize for my aggression, but to answer you question, yes I would be getting aid from the Chinese. Unlike the DPRK from OTL, this time they united the Korean peninsula and their industry wasn't ruined so they could afford to begin testing earlier.

Just to confirm it: does this new Reich thingie in West Germany also control West Berlin, much like West Germany in RL? Quite important to know for RP purposes between the DDR and the Reich.

Iran and the DPRK have been struggling with US sanctions and blockades caused by the US claiming the right to determine who has the right to nuclear development, even if merely peaceful nuclear energy, for decades.

A nuclear armed German Reich so soon after World War II is like ten times more alarming than that.

If I remember correctly the US IRL didn't want West Germany to get nukes, could be wrong though

Quick response.

I wasn't as fast to post sooner.

But this time about, the Soviets didn't just invade they were invited to help...and the rebels were rebels in a sense. The Democratic-Socialist government was the more legitimate one.

The entire Afghan Invasion and War this time around was more like the CIA-coup in Iran - except the USSR helped us prevent that.

Granted Western propaganda could've easily skewered that ideal.

Country (Full Official Name): Sublime Ottoman Union/Yüce Osmanlı Birliği

Head Of Government: President Ertaç Koray

Head Of State: Sultan Mehmed Orhan II

Location: Turkey

Government: Nationalist Constitutional Monarchy

GDP: 150.7 billion

GDP Per Capita: 18761.76

Population: 55,000,000

Currency: Turkish Lira

Faction: No official side yet, but is anti-communist

History: After WW2 the new balance of power had shifted across the world. The Cold War locked the planet in an icy grip of paranoia and proxy wars. War after War in harsh lands like Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan rocked political balance with every shot fired. Turkey was no exception to this. With the rise of the Western and Eastern Bloc Turkey found itself faced by the ever present greek's to the west and the godless soviet east. While relations had been decent between the west, the Soviets were ambitious. Communist influence's began pouring into Turkey, this began after the fall of Korea and other bastions of the "western" influence.

A communist revolution broke out in the 80's when the president was assassinated. Martial Law was declared and the nation almost fell into total civil war until a combination of military generals, nationalists and conservatives were able to restore the government after a few battles which resulted in almost seven thousand dead with smaller attacks lasting until 1985. In 1985 the new government reformed itself and created the Sublime Ottoman Union which in effect created a Constitutional Monarchy similar to that of the United Kingdom with the Sultan having limited but effective powers. A new banner was drafted and raised in Istanbul to show a new and proud Turkish people.

I'm not saying Israel needs to fall, but Palestine needs to be free, and Germany said they would support a two state solution yet now they fight the Palestinians? Just saying, this doesn't line up with his promises to me in his message in the IC, he's a traitor.
