Guys? Your thoughts on this?

But of course. It would be a bit silly if multiple people working on the same thing couldn't progress faster than one, on average.

Honestly, both. The museum artifact posts are fun because they’re unique and different, and I like the actual story posts because the Khortuun tribesmen are written with a lot of personality.

Will allocating multiple workers to a planting increase its food output, or only its growth probability?

So just to remind myself again, in what age can any role, including scholar, can start doing proper work?

Not really. I only grant tiny amounts of research/etc. to trainees because people wanted it. I’m assuming you don’t want a tenth of a poultice.

Are there any plans to take this into Bronze Age territory?

He originally said he wanted at least half of us to have bronze-equivalent technology, but as far as I know he's the only one who's even close. I need to resume my scouting rampage, but even then there's no way to be sure I'll stumble on tin or iron.

I'm actually pretty close to bronze tools, I think.

I'm nowhere close to that, myself. Best I've got going is obsidian, and I don't even know how to work it just yet.

You don't have tin smelting, and after tin smelting you have to work out alloying. At least two techs out, depending on how G runs it, where he could be as little as one tech out. A difference of several years potentially, to justify my analysis.

I would consider five to seven years pretty close, tbh.

That being said, I already have research stacked up on Tin Smelting, so I expect to get it within the next two turns. I guess the time to bronze tools really just depends on how many alloying techs there are.

Heh. While the rest of you are figuring out fancy tools, I'm trying to domesticate camels. Fingers crossed that the third year'll see me through.
