Well, I’m not sure how you intend to preserve fruit across multiple years, but essentially, yes. Especially with your smokehouse.

Sure - but keep in mind that these are still young children. The main benefit they are getting is training in their chosen profession, not goods for the tribe. Their contributions are quite marginal.
